yes. Accel is the most effective out of all the towers for shredding the boss.

For the mid and late-game, the Accelerator can be extremely powerful. Multiple Level 3-4 Accelerators are a cost-efficient way to get through the mid-game. The Farm or other towers that generate income like the Golden Cowboy are recommended, as the Accelerator's upgrades are quite expensive.

If you need versatile support and resource management, the Engineer might be the better choice. If you need high single-target damage and burst capabilities, the Accelerator could be the preferred option.

Midway through the game, several Level 1-2 Golden Minigunners are effective in wiping out hordes of enemies for an effective price. While this is a cost-effective way to triumph maps, this is not the best tower in terms of DPS. In terms of DPS and range, the Engineer, Ranger and Accelerator are far more effective.

The Speedy is faster than every enemy that appears early on. The Grave Digger has a chance to spawn the Speedy with its Grave Digging ability on Easy mode. The Speedy also has a chance to be spawned by the Mystery upon its death in the Easy and Molten modes.

Accelerator: Highest DPS, with over 400 DPS, however its only around 250 with the ROF bug. Still the highest DPS in the game. Range: Ranger: literally has range in the name.

The Engineer can be used as an early game tower due to its decent DPS and sentry DPS and its cheap cost. Since the Engineer has flying detection and lead detection, it can also be used as an early game tower in Hardcore mode. Placing multiple Level 2 Engineers is cost-effective due to its ability to place two sentries.

Towers you'll really want are the farm, DJ booth, and commander. These towers are essentially required if you want to play the hardest gamemodes thar TDS has to offer, especially in the case of the farm's moneymaking, but it is possible to have alternatives or just not use them.

It beams through the hardcore boss, and as you get lots of spare money in hardcore mode, it is very powerful. The golden accelerator can provide buffs to other different golden towers.

Warden in it's base form has a higher dps than glad, but when it reaches later game glad has a lower dps without ability while warden also they both can block stun attacks, but warden has stun every hit later on and a higher dps of 144 while glad has a dps of 78.

Both have qualities that make them better than the other. Both fail in some sections the other excels in, the Accelerator as of currently is the best main DPS tower, and the Engineer is one of the best Sub-DPS towers.

The Engineer has the upperhand at, with the WMS' explosions, control Hidden, Lead, and Flying Detection, as long as they are seen in different enemies[6]. On the other hand, Accelerator can damage lead and hidden enemies.
