Fantastic wines! Whatever your preferred taste, you will find it here. We love their dry whites and reds, but if you prefer sweet wines they have that too. The Riesling is wonderful, as is the Grüner Veltliner. Also, don’t miss the Bayou Blanc! An amazing collaboration with Voodoo Brewery that has a fantastic hoppy nose. The staff is the best! Lori, Chris and Geri made us feel right at home.

Patrick G — Google review

The people are so nice, friendly, and helpful - Sam and Lori are awesome. Their Eskimo ice wine and Blushing Heron (concord + Niarlgra blend) were so delicious. I ordered a few bottles.

Marie Kang-Scott — Google review

2 times I have attempted to order a thermometer for a ebulliometer for my work. The first time after recieving a confirmation they deleted my order. The second time here I am 3 months later and we received a refund for the order? They are also difficult to get ahold of. I DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing equipment from this company.

Nick jackson — Google review

Definitely one of my favorite wineries in the area. The selection is elite. The customer service is amazing. The spot down near the creek to enjoy a glass of wine is so cool. Highly recommend. If you’re feeling bold, their spicy ice wine is one of my favorite wines EVER.

Alyssa Hale — Google review

Absolutely gorgeous location. The small falls are gorgeous. Loved the cute house setting for their wine tasting room. The blushing wines were my personal favs. Definitely don't miss the Voodoo Brewery collaboration wine: Bayou Blanc!

Briana Moody — Google review

It's a peaceful place to enjoy your wine! There's a lot of trees & also a creek that you can sit by or walk along. Their wine tastings are free & they're really good as well as reasonably priced. The staff is friendly & helpful with explaining about each wine. They have a deck where they have live entertainment. There's outdoor tables & seating too. I highly recommend a visit to Presque Isle Winery!

Renee W. — Google review

Great place. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I purchase grape juice from them to make wine and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend the Riesling. Always there if you need information as well. Beautiful location. Follow for more...

Mark D — Google review

Very very rude (overwhelmed but still very rude) during the harvest wine tour and didn’t have a list of ingredients for the soups for any allergens or dietary restrictions (which also had peanuts in it)

Kallie Hinspeter — Google review

So disappointed, this use to be a great company to work with. I know some things may be hard to stock, but please communicate. No one bothered to return inquiries for ordering more hose and I just found out that a bladder ordered and paid for in early July is not available. Only found out by seeing my checking account debited!

Wine Tour!! Great tastings! My favorite was the Spiked Rose`. Group bought nachos and shredded pulled pork 😋 also pretzels and chesse!

Marrisa Dominguez — Google review

I can't give 5 stars to a place that still uses Styrofoam take out containers but really otherwise Arundel is top grade. The generous pulled pork nachos were excellent, I really liked the King Snipe IPA, and the merlot was the equal of a medium priced California wine. Well done!

Walter Pirie — Google review

Nice place. Stopped for lunch. The Carmel Apple cider was the best of what I tried, but the bartender didnt know anything about it, to share. Got a Ruben + salad, walked the dogs to the railroad. Good stop.

M. P. — Google review

We went for lunch. I got the grilled chicken salad and the strawberry lemonade cider. Both were very good. I highly recommend this place.

joyce conti — Google review

A scenic spot right off a busy road to enjoy craft beers and wines. We sat outside on a rainy day, and if you’re not partial to the vibes being interrupted by the noise from cars you’ll very much enjoy the outside seating. There is a bar that you order meals from and plenty of indoor seating to choose from. The food arrives in takeaway containers and is, hhmm fairly basic. Still a nice place to visit.

Cece Louise — Google review

One star only bc the wine is rather good. Today, purchased a flight of wine. A bee flew into my not touched glass of wine, I remind you it was a tasting portion of wine, not a full glass. Took my glass inside with live yellow jacket in glass and asked if I could get a new TASTING. Was told it is not the establishments fault the bee flew in my glass, (so then is it mine?) and was told that they would not give me a new tasting. I was also encouraged by the waitress to still drink the wine bc the bee, isn’t going to hurt anything. Terrible service and business practices.

Amanda B — Google review

This was our 4th trip to Arundel, which is always a staple when we visit the wine trail here. Food presentation was much better this time around with quality ingredients. It was busy when we walked in, but we were pleasantly greeted and served immediately. I've always been a fan of Arundel's wines and would love to see new flavors from this winery.

Jennifer R — Google review

Great winery with a nice selection of house brewed beers as well. The location is picturesque & their building is beautiful.

John Cermak — Google review

Food was not good; but wines were great! Atmosphere outside was very pretty !

Alexia Minschwaner — Google review

Nice local place to visit. Nice atmosphere. Really like that the restaurant is located in an old refurbished barn! Nice selection of wines, ciders and beers. Surprised that upon entering 5 minutes after the place opened, there wasn’t any available tables. There was a side bench to sit on. No chairs at the bar which I found odd. No table servers. Instead you place your food order at the bar and when ready, you get a text message and pick up your food at a table next to the bar. Did have a nice band playing while visiting.

Rob Hornaman — Google review

After cellar 54 and Presque Isle wineries with such intimate service and great wines, Arundel was really disappointing. I've never been to a self-service wine tasting where you have to pick up your own flights and glass of wine. I was a little disappointed today, the least. 😞 we will skip this place on our next visit. Their ice wine wasn't bad, though 👍

Marie Kang-Scott — Google review

Stopped on a late afternoon mid week and it was pretty quite. By the time we left and hour later it was getting pretty busy. The wines were nice with tastings, flights, glass and bottle options. They are best known for some of their sweeter wines, although the dry rose was really good.Nice selection of IPA's that change from time to time. The names are great and the they were tasty! The inside is very cool and the patio was a nice touch. For some reasons the garbage cans were flipped over which seemed strange so we left our empties on the outdoor table.Certainly worthy of a stop. You won't be disappointed!

M. Klein — Google review

Loved this place! Good food! Great wines and ciders! Friendly staff... In fact, we loved it so much, we visited twice in one weekend. Favorite wine... If you like sweet wine... "Soulmates" 🥰🍷

Anna Breyer — Google review

I can't even explain how nice of an atmosphere this winery is!! The women that was there was very polite and even personable. The food was great and so was the service! Can't wait to go again!!!

Candy Nickson — Google review

I was on a girls weekend and we asked the owner of our campground if there we any good wineries in the area. Without hesitation, he sent us to Arundel. We walked through the doors to welcoming smiles and hellos. The gentleman behind the counter was super knowledgeable about the wines and ciders...but even better is he took the time to become super knowledgeable about his customers asking about our preferences but stretching our palates. They serve amazing food and offer indoor and out door seating. We chose outdoor as it was a beautiful day. We sat alongside the vineyard, drank our wine flights and took in the views. Would definitely recommend this place everyday of the week and twice on Sundays!

I first tried their wine at a wine and music festival more than ten years ago and have been wanting to visit for about as long. Finally did and am pretty happy. I don’t think I’ve ever tried a wine there that I didn’t like. They are all light and fresh. You can tell there are no artificial flavors in their fruit or specialty wines. If I lived nearby, I’d be buying their wines often and exclusively. My rating is for their wines. The atmosphere? My rating would be about a 3/5. The person working was so nice and easy to talk to. He told us all that he knew about the wines and the area, and recommended that we come back in the summer to enjoy the deck. It is a very large building, which is great, and the deck is also huge, but it is very rustic and dark, making it feel like a really old dive bar, but maybe that’s the vibe they’re going for. A more modern rustic look and, at the very least, a good scrub/cleaning would make the interior so much nicer, in my opinion. Entering through the deck is so much easier.

Millie Rodriguez — Google review

Very nice staff and great wine. Off the beaten path but worth the trip.

Scott Gross — Google review

Ivy gave us an amazing experience because of her exceptional customer service! The facility is gorgeous, rustic, and full of history. It's well maintained, clean and warm. We tried some of their many wines and had such a great time! Ivy was knowledgeable, fun, had great people skills, and provided information about the facility and about upcoming wine trail events that we're now interested in! We had a great time chatting and learning from Ivy. Ivy is a valuable member of the Heritage team and she adds so much to the PA wine culture, hospitality and tourism industries. Thanks so much Ivy, we'll remember fondly on our experience here with you!!

Love this Rustic winery, super nice staff, wines are great, and complimentary samples.. One of my favorite wineries in Northeast 🍷❤️

Carol Acker — Google review

I was here yesterday and it wasn’t busy because it was a Thursday and closed at 6. I was told there was music there Saturdays. The young lady was attentive and I tried about 3-4 samples but got two bottles of cherry chocolate. When you sip it you taste the cherry then after it is in your mouth a few seconds you taste a tootsie roll. Very unique. The entrance is across the road from McDonalds. It’s a fine stoned road that is okay for all cars. It’s in a barn and you climb up 20 steps to get on 2nd level of barn. You can go outside onto a patio and can see Lake Erie in the distance. Highly recommended for semi sweet and sweet wines. It’s a place that doesn’t have a high variety of semi dry to dry wines but I’d go there again. The whole area is beautiful. 1,000s upon 1,000s of acres of vineyards all along Route 20.

Stephanie Persin — Google review

Friendly staff and wonderful wines! A great place to spend a lazy afternoon!

Elizabeth Hagan — Google review

Great experience. We went for a tasting there and the young lady behind the bar "Ivy" was very attentive to us. She made sure we were taking care of. They have great wine 🍷 for great prices 💵. Will definitely be going again when Ivy is working. If I could give this place 6 stars I would!!!

Cute local winery. We stopped by on our way through the area. We made a reservation ahead of time just as a precaution. During covid the winery is doing a lot to keep everyone safe. There are sand sanitizer stations at the front door for everyone to use upon entering. There is indoor reduced capacity and bar stools are spaced out. No outdoor seating when we were there. The indoor space isn’t too big but the tasing shouldn’t take anyone very long. Definitely good to call ahead for a reservation in case it’s busy. Everyone must wear a mask until they are seated and the staff wears them as well. There are plexiglass shields at the bar as well. There were a lot of wine options to choose from. I am not usually a huge NY state wine fan but I found a few that I liked and even found some to take home. There are enough options that there is something for everyone. There are 2 tasting options for $3 and $5 which include some generous samples and a snack to cover the current food requirement. The $5 option includes a glass to take home. The staff was friendly and helpful.I would recommend coming. Good wines, and beautiful grounds.

Crystal G — Google review

Easy to find the location, and easy to find parking and entrance. Very friendly tasting staff. Very nice tasting room with plenty of space. Several varieties and blends, mostly sweet, to test. All were great! Their dessert wines were where they really shine, and have been voted among the best in the area.

Brian Baker — Google review

Great tastings and the wine was delish! I went home.with 3 bottles!

Jacklyn Evans — Google review

This place is so cute! The customer service was amazing; both Patty and Dawn were so helpful. Not only did they know their wines, they knew exactly what to suggest based on what we told them about our preferences. They have a good variety of both dry and sweet wines, and a dessert wine for both palates. The building is smaller, but the grounds are absolutely beautiful, with picnic tables on a patio, and a gazebo, too.We live 2 hours away but will be returning!

Pam Kerr — Google review

Such a great experience at willow creek winery. The wine is just amazing, not a single one disappoints. While wine tasting Pat and Mary served my boyfriend and I and they were just so wonderful and so friendly. The atmosphere they create made the experience even better. I absolutely recommend coming here!

Sophia Simmons — Google review

This winery is A+ in my opinion. Not only for the great tasting wines, but also for the friendly and fun atmosphere created by Pat and Mary during the tastings. This past Saturday I went there for a tasting with my son. We stopped at 2 other wineries before going to Willow Creek and I can honestly say there is no comparison. Pat and Mary work well together, take the time to get to know the customers and had 10 strangers including us, chatting and laughing like long time friends while tasting the different offerings of wine. We had so much fun that my son vowed to go back to the winery to purchase from them when we run out , instead of purchasing it from a store. ( he bought a case). Not only are the wines good but the grounds are also beautiful with a patio deck, gazebo, and a clear pond along with the vineyard. The winery should make use of the grounds as a venue for weddings, reunions, parties and concerts. ( Bring a lawn chair, buy a bottle of wine and enjoy a band). The grounds and vineyard would make a great backdrop for family or even senior high school portraits. If you are contemplating a wine tour be sure to stop at this hidden gem in Northern Chautauqua county.

Donna Sayers — Google review

With family visiting from out of town, we went on a wine tasting tour. Willow creek was the best. My guests loved the friendly upbeat service provided by Mary. This place is must stop on any and every tour.

Rock Vallone — Google review

Small place but their offers are wonderful. Go for the chocolate, you won't be disappointed. Staff was super friendly and knowledgable.

Lee Drozak — Google review

Pat and Mary? More like princess awesome face and queen fantastical. Had such a great time. Their expert knowledge and hospitality makes other winery's wine seem like toilet wine. What every they're getting paid it should be quadrupled. They should be making almost as much as Jeff Bezos. The wine is the quality of which I would use if I had a last supper.

We stumbled onto Port Promenade via TripAdvisor. It's a nice small port with a cool looking bridge (that is remotely controlled). The water is calm and there are plenty of quaint shops along the port/pier. Grab some fish and chips or some small treats and walk along the port.

Jeremy Dang — Google review

Port Promenade shore is an ideal spott to see ships in to the watherway, yoy can find some sits around the área and take some snack too.

Isaac Poggi — Google review

Good place to watch ships entering and leaving the Welland Canal.

C. Notar (Notar) — Google review

A clean, well maintained promenade that is lovely for a stroll or to just sit back and relax on a bench. There are boutique stores just across the streets were you can find unique gifts, artisan chocolate or a bite to eat.I enjoy making a visit to the promenade wherever I come to Port Colborne. Been going here for several years, eaten fish and chips on the bench and had delicious gelato a number of years ago when the small building attached to the promenade was a seasonal gelato/ice cream shop.

Meaghan Edwards — Google review

Beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the view and a coffee

Karen Legendre — Google review

Great place for a walk, or just sit in the shade and enjoy some ice cream from Candy Safari across the street, as we did.

Burk Schmidt — Google review

Best place for a walk in downtown Port Colborne. Clean and lot's of nice shops and restaurants.

L Rand — Google review

One of the prettiest locations in the city. The wide boardwalk, seating and tables are welcome spots to spend some time and watch ships from around the world pass by. The city does a great job planting flowers, trees and puts Christmas lighting up. There are shops and eateries along the length of West street as well as others located close by. A jewel in the city for sure.

Rick Geady — Google review

Beautiful part of the city. Nice place to eat, shop and enjoy passing ships in the Canal. I would recommend to City Hall to make West street foot traffic only and increase pedestrian traffic.

August 2022 5*This is our first visit to Nikel Beach and I am already planning to visit again. The most important thing, Reservation is must specially on weekend. You will not get entry otherwise. Will cost around $50 per car.The beach is super clean and water is clean. Best sand (white) I saw in Ontario. You can enjoy swimming and water support with kids.Make sure to carry your tent and umbrella as there is no natural shading. You need to have some space. There is permanent toilet on the beach but have installed porta toilets. I did not use them so not sure if it was clean. The sand dune can be high for car at certain point and your vehicle can stuck if it is not 4X4. Don’t get panic and feel free to ask help or remove little bit sand before moving vehicles.

Jaspal Singh — Google review

Haven’t been since covid but it’s one of my favourite beaches to bring the kids. You can park directly on the beach, if you’re early enough that is. Saves you from lugging stuff back and forth from the car. An ice cream truck usually comes around 4pm which is great. The beach is always very clean as well.

Sheena Fry — Google review

Great location for swimming, chilling with friends and family. You can park your car next to you. Check the entry fees if you are not a Niagara region resident.

Bader Alhousainy — Google review

“NICKEL BEACH”You can also call it “Drive In Beach” . Well, this is not its official name, I gave this name because you can take your car right next to the beach 🏖You need to buy tickets at the entrance or you can also book them online in advance ( advisable to book in advance)We’ve seen some cars getting refused entry as the beach was full and they wanted to buy tickets at the entry.Beach was good, vibe was pretty happening but the worst part was the cleanliness, the water at the shore was not at all clean. Hell lot of algae and it smells like sh*t…..too bad. Also there is no mention anywhere but let me tell you that you can only be at the beach 8pm. Please make your plans accordingly.

A J — Google review

Long deep drive in beach. Warm shallow waters of Lake Erie. Be sure you stop for all you need for a day at the beach.Great spot to drop your kayak/SUP for a paddle across the bay.

Cara R-N — Google review

It is a beautiful and welcoming place, I think it is the only beach that allows you to park on the beach, this is beautiful because there are so many people who play their music, dance and have fun.I only saw such a beautiful thing when I visited South America. The beach is clean there was a bit of seaweed on one side of the beach but a natural thing. My son loved the inflatable waterpark, I only paid 30 dollars for the whole day and he did want to come back home 😆People were very friendly, very fun and great environment.I want to thank everyone who put the music regaetton, salsa and merengue, my wife and I enjoyed it very much, it made me want to dance.Overall a great place.

Rosario V — Google review

Not worth it to pay almost 60$ for a parking spot that is supposed to be guaranteed but is not. And that you have to walk miles and miles on the beach. It will be our last time. It was great before when we could park on the beach and use our jet ski. Only good thing is the upgraded bathroom but I don't think the staff actually cleaned them during the day it's clean early morning but that is it.

M&S B&D — Google review

Pretty nice beaches. Not overly busy, lots of parking. The parking is quite pricey though for out of towners. Sometimes the water is beautiful and othertimes with the rain and temps the water gets full of algae. I wish there was a real time camera set up like other beaches to see the conditions.

April Whitelaw — Google review

Beutiful beach. Drive in beach. Water is clean and shallow. Bring all your floating devices and kids will enjoy the whole day without complain. We had our shade/ rents and that was very helpful for us to stay the whole day. There is 20$ entry fee. But dont expect any tables, or proper washrooms for that money. Best part is no need to carry stuff as it is drive on to the beach.

Sanjeewa A — Google review

It use to allow cars to drive up to beach but now doesn't. Not worth paying for parking when the initial fee to enter had the perk of driving up to beach spot. Beach is very clean. It is not prepared to accommodate beach goers who need to lug their things around. Needs path/sidewalk. Bathroom are clean but not all accessible because they lock the doors.

Mon BL — Google review

Nice medium sized beach. $20 charge per car. I saw lots of people parking out and walking in with their things. You can back the car on to the beach. Water was warm even as early as 10 in the morning. Gets crowded by 11am so need to get there early to pick a good spot.Water is shallow for quite a while. Great for families. If you want shade you need to bring umbrellas or a tent. I saw only one picnic table around where I was.

Sam deZ — Google review

Excellent beach, feels a lot like Florida or California. It is really amazing you can just park your car on the sand (you do need to reserve the spot online though but the price is totally worth it). It is also only 90min drive from downtown Toronto.

Mike Kushnir — Google review

Such a beautiful beach for Ontario! Nice soft sand. Water was very clear and safe to swim. Could see to the bottom of the lake when we went deeper! Pretty crowded but people were respectful of distancing. Costs $15 for local Niagara residents and $50 for non residents to park at the beach so definitely go with someone who is a local!

Bodies of Water

The Welland Canal is a ship canal in Ontario, Canada, connecting Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. It forms a key section of the St. Lawrence Seaway and Great Lakes Waterway. Traversing the Niagara Peninsula from Port Weller in St. Catharines to Port Colborne, it enables ships to ascend and descend the Niagara Escarpment and bypass Niagara Falls. It is the fourth canal connecting these waterways; three smaller predecessors also bore the same name. The Welland Canal eclipsed other, narrower canals in the region, such as the Trent-Severn Waterway and, significantly, the Erie Canal (which linked the Atlantic and Lake Erie via New York City and Buffalo, New York) by providing a shorter, more direct connection to Lake Erie. The southern, Lake Erie terminus of the canal is 99.5 metres (326 feet) higher than the northern terminus on Lake Ontario. The canal includes eight 24.4-metre-wide (80 ft) ship locks.Seven of the locks (Locks 1–7, the 'Lift' locks) are 233.5 m (766 ft) long and raise (or lower) passing ships by between 13 and 15 m (43 and 49 ft) each. The southernmost lock, (Lock 8 – the 'Guard' or 'Control' lock) is 349.9 m (1,148 ft) in length. The Garden City Skyway passes over the canal, restricting the maximum height of the masts of the ships allowed on this canal to 35.5 m (116 ft).

Sujith Mohan — Google review

Great place for any age!! The trail is a great place to go on a nice day out!! The old canal also has some trails you can explore that bring you along a really historic area!! Love going here to relax and just go for a peaceful walk! Great place for a bike ride to the pth is all paved and ready to go! These pictures are from the old canal trail just a few minutes away from Glendale Bridge!!

Gaming Zone — Google review

Do find the Canal system very interesting and worthwhile. Some of the ships exhaust is very black and the smell is terrible. The bridge notification system is terrible. This is causing people to waste fuel by racing to the next bridge because there was no mention that the bridge was about to go up. Can be hard to cross for work or appointments and also emergencies.

Ed C — Google review

Great place to walk the dog.

Mark D. — Google review

We loved looking at a passing ship and enjoyed eating our lunch by the canal. Great place for the grand children

Suzanne Podmore — Google review

These canals are always interesting. Such a great idea of moving ships up or down. Nice to walk around when it's not that busy and watch the ships pass.

Borneodaya — Google review

We had no GPS but we drove around till we found it and it was so cool. A ship was going through.

Kris Krawczyk — Google review

I have to say it’s one of the most fun rides I’ve had watching the big ships go by in the locks and all. I did half from east to west ,welland.. before the end of this week I will do the other half going to Lake Erie and continue to push shirkston area and come back should be about 80 km or so. A wonderful bike ride for a day.

Joe Kom — Google review

Enjoyed this very much, it has restrooms, a picnic area and also some educational items. Oh and ships too

Marc Banks — Google review

I really love this place, nice to take a walk or ride a bicycle.

Alfredo Castillo — Google review

Gorgeous spot to walk, ride your bike, rollerblade, run etc. Long trail that goes from St. Catharines to port colborne! Gorgeous scenery and you can see ships going through the lock systems. Lots to see and do along here - water sports, sight seeing, museum at lock 3, viewing at lock 7. Very accessible. Beautiful spot in Niagara. Highly recommend

Lakeside summer estate designed by Frank Lloyd Wright offers historical & architectural tours.

Excellent 2 hour tour by Master Docent, Stacy. Very informative and educational. Highly recommend!

Darlene Karalus — Google review

Very interesting home. It had some differences compared to other homes he designed because changes were made specifically for Isabelle Martin, the wife of Darwin Martin. Isabelle wanted this summer cottage to have more light throughout the house, so it wasn't as dark as most FLW designed buildings. They also had an art exhibit at the time we were there that I felt took away from the tour of the home. Still a tour you want to take if you enjoy FLW architecture.

Had a lovely tour on a sunny winter day. This is a must see if you love history, architecture, and old houses. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we had a great time.

Karly Weber — Google review

Beautifully restore home, still needs some work in the back by the overlook. Guide was knowledgable. Please not, you are not able to walk the grounds on your own so to arriving early doesnt make sense as you only have access to the gift shop prior to your tour.

Linda Bernhagen — Google review

Stunning property, fabulous restoration, interesting history. Well put together and comprehensive tours ( we did 2 hour one) give background to the house and it’s owners and the famous architect. Tranquil grounds and glorious lake views from inside and out. Book well in advance in high season. Worth visiting both this property and the Martin House on the same day if you can.Well curated gift shop, clean washrooms, and ample parking.

In connection with the Albright Knox Gallery, the Grayclift is home to one of our Public Art projects with Sarah Braman. Sarah is an artist who lived briefly in the Buffalo area, and this exhibit is the first time she has her small works worth her big works, and the big stuff weighs around 22,000 lbs. Go check it out.

Roscoe Henderson — Google review

Beautiful house with amazing history. Must see if you are a fan of architecture and Frank Lloyd Wright. Guides are very knowledgeable and great. Would suggest doing the extended tour that is 2 hours.

Nora Anderson — Google review

Outstanding tour of a wonderful Frank Lloyd Wright summer home built for Isabel Martin. Intimate look at the Martins, their relationship with Wright, through a detailed exposure to Wright design, intentions, and execution via this remarkable restoration.

Jack Harris — Google review

The most welcoming, approachable Frank Lloyd Wright site we've ever visited. Incredible staff, incredible gardens.

Megan McElfresh — Google review

From start to finish this was an amazing experience. This is a must stop while in the Buffalo area.We had pre booked a timed winter tour and arrived early and were graciously accommodated to an earlier tour. The docent who led the tour of this incredible Frank Lloyd Wright lake house was simply incredible. She provided detailed facts about the building, design and history of the home. She incorporated stories of the family, Mr Wright to share interesting facts about the property.Given it was the winter tour it was lightly snowing and it was magical.Everyone at the site was welcoming and helpful. Thank you for a wonderfully memorable experience.

Christine Lang — Google review

Our Docent was patient and knowledgeable as she guided us through the grounds and main house. It was a beautiful evening, and we will definitely return for an extended tour to see the rest.

Kate Golden — Google review

I went to Graycliff in July of 2023. My dad was a tour guide there for many years. He loved it. There was no admission fee for me because we did his celebration of life there. I am heartbroken to say my dad went to heaven the Fall 🍁 of 2022. His name was George, & I really miss him. 😭 It is beautiful property. The house is interesting & cool. Would've liked to see all of both buildings, but parts of the house are not open to the public. It is very peaceful there. I highly recommend it.

Laura Barnes — Google review

The tour includes great storytelling. Our docent Marian was fabulous!

Renee Ruchotzke — Google review

Beautiful house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Views of Lake Ontario from every window along the back. Gorgeous!

Camping Companions — Google review

We had a wonderful time visiting Graycliff Museum. Our docent was so knowledgeable and we felt transported back in time when Frank Lloyd Wright built this beautiful summer residence right on Lake Erie. A must see for any FWL enthusiast! Hint: they also combine tours with the incomparable Martin museum in Buffalo, a mere 40 minute drive away!

The Journey Behind the Falls adventure takes visitors down into the tunnels and observation decks below Niagara Falls to see the falls from behind. Tours last about an hour and are popular with families, thrill seekers, and anyone looking for a unique perspective on this famous tourist attraction.

Wow simply incredible to experience this. Pictures just don't cut it. The elevator ride down is quick and the tunnel can be claustrophobic but it's something you have to see and feel. The power of the falls can be heard and felt when inside 1 of 2 observation tunnels but going out on the observation deck to see the Horseshoe fall is amazing and yes you will wet. Ponchos provided and just the overall trip was well worth it.

terry fronk — Google review

LINES!!!!!! Be prepared to stand in line! Purchase your tickets online ahead of time. With that being said, the experience was worth the wait. To stand below these massive falls was an amazing experience. You'll get a little wet but I enjoyed it so much that we felt we didn't need to take the boat ride to the falls. I recommend it

Jonathan Hayes — Google review

Amazing attraction where you can get sprayed by the falls. You can hear the water rushing down the falls. Wasn’t expecting it to be this crowded on a foggy day but it was still nice to visit. Better than a similar experience on the American side I went to a few years ago. There are two portals and one big observation deck here.

Kiet TT — Google review

Neat experience! It's exciting to see another angle of the falls, and you can explore the tunnels beneath it. It's very busy and crowded, but worth doing it especially if it's your first time visiting. Also note, you can select this and some other options in a bundle if you want to save some money. It's not too expensive if you want to do the bundles. Definitely worth checking out!

David Nagel-Nunez — Google review

There was a line, but it moved pretty quickly. You get your rain poncho and wait to go down to the Falls tunnel. Out of three openings available, I would recommend doing just the panoramic patio. The "behind the Falls" part is nothing but a wall of water that looks like nothing. People take a million pics and it's just weird. However, the first (closest) patio/opening is the best to view the Falls from the side. Absolutely stunning views. Prepare to get wet! ;) But worth it. Skip the "behind" part and just enjoy the view from the patio.

Sweet November — Google review

The Journey Behind the Falls is an extraordinary excursion that offers a rare and thrilling perspective of the renowned Horseshoe Falls. It's an experience that is deserving of not just a five-star rating, but indeed, as you aptly put it, five stars tenfold.Descending through the bedrock, visitors are granted the opportunity to witness the staggering power of the falls from behind the veil of cascading water. The thunderous roar of the falls is all-encompassing, a powerful symphony of nature that reverberates through the heart and soul. The observation decks and portals provide a vantage point unlike any other, where the sheer magnitude of the falls can be truly comprehended. It's a place where the might of nature can be felt in every droplet of mist, where every sense is engulfed by the falls’ majesty. For anyone seeking to connect with the raw spirit of Niagara, the Journey Behind the Falls is an absolute must. It’s an adventure that leaves a lasting impression, magnifying the grandeur of this natural spectacle in an intimately profound way.

Danny Veiga — Google review

We purchased the package, which cost roughly $50/person and included 5 attractions. You can either purchase it online or in person, depending on which season you're visiting, to avoid the lineup. Journey behind the falls is located at the main building you purchase the tickets. You take an elevator down. There is 1 deck area with 2 decks. One at the top which is covered and another at the bottom which is open. There are also 2 viewing points where you basically see the water. Views from the deck was amazing but be sure to wear your ponchos. The staff took a picture while entertaining and was selling them for $40 at the exit which was messed up. The gift shops were super expensive for the quality of item they're selling.

Sifat Niloy — Google review

Niagara Falls is indeed spectacular, and the scenery and travel packages on the Canadian side are better than those on the American side. However, coming in winter or early spring when it’s very cold is indeed a test for tourists’ hands holding cameras and mobile phones. The town next to Niagara Falls is very attractive, and all aspects of tourism are well done. It feels a bit like a small Disney and Universal Studios.

cucu darej — Google review

I highly recommend this attraction. You down under the falls in a tunnel. Then, out to observation decks to see behind the falls. The sound is so cool. Then, head out to the outside observation decks. The falls are truly a wonderful experience. We did not realize it was a Canadian holiday, so there were a lot of diverse people.

Debbie Ahrens Carr — Google review

Totally worth it! Not crowded in April and a good way to see the falls up close and personal. I loved to hear the rushing water and the occasional blast of the water hitting me as I looked out of the key hole. The look out point is spectacular, a big area with a covered top and open bottom. You are right next to the falls. And you get wet! I loved it.

MissMaris024 — Google review

It was fun to be on the deck, but the tunnels were just long waits to see a small window of water crash down. It was very cool to be behind the falls. Maybe it would have felt more worth it with fewer people. Waiting for so long just to see that was, eh? But, the deck is so worth it!!

Summer — Google review

I had an incredible experience at Journey Behind the Falls! The highlight for me was the viewing platform that offers a breathtaking, up-close look at the magnificent Horseshoe Falls. It's an awe-inspiring feeling to stand so close to the rushing water. The tunnels leading to the platform were an adventure in themselves. The whole journey was well-organized, informative, and unforgettable. I highly recommend this attraction to anyone visiting Niagara Falls.

Ian K — Google review

This wasn't something that I was necessarily looking forward to doing, but my husband really wanted to do it. However, I'm really happy we did it. It was something that you don't get to do all the time and you don't get that close to a super powerful and beautiful waterfall every day!

Rebecca Prudhomme — Google review

Definitely worth your buck! Quite a bit of tourists, which is expected with a breath taking experience like this. The staff are very friendly and give you a quick history of the tunnels that were built underneath the falls. It can be a little slippery, so be sure to wear some adequate shoes.

Hans Fobister — Google review

It was spring break. And ticket was cheaper and no waiting long. Happy about we went there not in summer time. They said you need to wait over an hour in the summer time~ no boat at this time so that we tried journey behind the falls. And I am glad that we did it!!!!

ahra cho — Google review

The first time you go, it's really impressive to see the falls that close. It's really a "must see it once in my life" type of attraction. This year was our second time and the wow facter was a little less there. There isn't really anything to do down there except taking a few pictures inside the tunnel (they don't have interactive gallery or lightning and only have a few wall boards with historical facts while waiting in line) because they don't want you to stay down there too long. It's pretty much take the elevator, wait in line 30-40 min, take a quick picture or 2 behind the falls and please go back quickly waiting in line for the elevator to let others take pictures too.Like I said, recommended to see it 1 time in your life but since nothing was added in 10 years, don't expect anything new after.

Fran?ois Larivi?re — Google review

It was such a unique experience. You can really feel the power of the waterfalls underneath it. It gives a new perspective to Falls viewing and the history and use of the power generated from the Falls is fascinating too. Even though it was the Easter weekend, it was not busy. We didn't really have to line up. The photos that you get at the end of the tour are quite pricey as to be expected but we bought them because it'd be a one time investment and it's a decent family portrait that we otherwise wouldn't have. Buying the photos would be optional.

Lindsey W — Google review

One of the touristy things to do in Niagara falls. It is always great idea to purchase the ticket in advance to avoid the queue. Having said that be ready to stand in a queue to get in and get those beautiful views, it’s definitely worth it. Make sure to wear a good footwear as the floor can be slippery. The views from the outside terrace is breathtaking. They have two floors and soak all the views and sound you can. They also click your picture like every other experience for you to get a print if you like. I went there on a weekend around 4pm and could get in without a queue but there were long queues after that. I would highly highly recommend this experience.

Sakina Dahodwala — Google review

Really neat to walk behind the falls. Terrifying to think of how many millions of gallons of water are flowing over top of you. It's very crowded and musty, so wear your poncho and bring your patience. Lots of good photo ops.

Amanda Showalter — Google review

Spectacular views. The tunnel takes you very close to the falls and the view point is amazing. It's like getting a seat in the first row.Prepare to get soaked ☺️ it's worth it and can be very refreshing in hot summer days.We went on a Saturday early June and it was a bit busy, but the staff was very helpful with keeping the visitors in organized lines.

Reema Youssef — Google review

A must-see if you're visiting the Canadian side of Niagara. The grounds of the park are beautiful. Wherever you turn, it's a photo op. The gift store and building are wonderful inside. There is plenty of shopping and assorted places to eat. Going behind the falls was once in a lifetime experience. It is for all ages, from toddlers to senior citizens, it's not too scary . You get complimentary ponchos for helping to stay dry. They came in handy, being it was a rainy day. It was a great experience for the whole family .

Ryan Dolan — Google review

Really interesting experience. For some reason, the observation deck was not open. But the tunnels were cool. We waited in line to view the Cataract Portal but the line for the Great Falls portal was too long. Since the observation deck was closed, we didn't have any issues with getting wet. Still recommend the stop though. You should buy a ticket and reserve your time in advance.

Courtney Fung — Google review

Wow what a great experience to walk under the falls and feel the power of water. A true inspiration and left feeling small! Would recommend to anyone especially on a quiet day, I imagine it gets crowded during busy times.

Andrew Erskine — Google review

You get into tunnels that have 3 different views. The first shows you the waterfall from a lower level. The other 2 shows the water falling, so you're basically standing behind the waterfall. It's super cool especially when the water splashes on you.

phebia paul — Google review

Great place to see and hear the falls up close. Down here you can really feel the mighty force of the falls. Prepare to get wet. Also the tunnels are low. Anyone over 6'5" be warned to watch your head.

Mac Davis-Kelly — Google review

This was part of our ticket package deal that included this, maid of the mist, cave of the winds, and the tunnel. I'd suggest looking into the ticket package as it does end up saving a bit of money and all these attractions were definitely worth it! The falls are so big and so powerful that being able to stand right next to them and watch, it's beyond words. If you are near the falls, don't miss this! *we did this from the NY side of the falls but we're residing on the ON side for that week.

Desiree Schwartz (Fighting for Freedom) — Google review

Great experience going down in the tunnels and learning the history behind the falls. You take an elevator 125' down till you get to the tunnel and walk about 25' when it spits to the right under the falls or straight to observation area, truly Amazing views being able to see inside the tunnels under the falls and getting close enough to feel the water spashing so if you want wear the poncho they give you, I did not wear one but I had a water proof heated jacket so was not needed. When the sun goes down and lights turn on, it's an extremely gorgeous site, a great place to propose 😀 or site see.

justin santos — Google review

It's amazing to feel the power of the falls. The lower deck wasn't open when we visited as it opened closer to the summertime. There was probably less of a crowd than there would be during the summer, and we didn't have to wait in line very long beforehand.

DW — Google review

Very affordable for such a cool experience! To have the perspective to go behind the falls will give us a lasting memory! And we were suckers and bought the picture after but actually it turned out to be a great souvenir option!

Jenna Budreau — Google review

I highly recommend the tour bus. Our guide was very informative, professional. We made photo stops and did not rush us as we had time to venture out and see the sites. Driver offered discounts for the added attractions. The Fall were breath taking and a must see to believe. Overall great experience.

Sharon Seitzinger — Google review

The Journey Behind the Falls experience was part of our wonder pass and was a wonderful experience. It consisted of a short tunnel that branches into two different directions. To the left was the observation deck that gives you this pretty view of the falls (first video). Then, a little gated glimpse into the old tunnel aesthetic. When you go to the right of the fork, you are taken to the two look out points BEHIND the waterfalls (included below). You can literally feel the waterfall moving all around you as you walk through this portion of the tunnel because it is quite literally running over you. It was so cool to witness, I highly recommend!

Sophia DeMartino — Google review

The coolest part was going through the tunnels, and you can even see one that was abandoned. But you stand in line to see a huge sheet of water. Not sure what I was expecting, but it was OK. The best was the view from the side platform though the crowds made this hard to enjoy. It took a long time to fit any kids through the mass of people to get a good look. Fun to see the boats down in the mist and power behind all that water. Glad we went, but wouldn't go again.

The 520-foot tall (160 m) tower offers beautiful, sweeping vistas of Niagara Falls from its observation deck. The revolving restaurant here is a popular spot for visitors to enjoy delicious desserts with amazing views of the falls.

We took my dad for his birthday and had a great time. The views are absolutely amazing, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food was great. It is a bit on the spendy side, but I felt it was well worth it for the overall experience. It is also a bit touristy, but what do expect at Niagara Falls! I would really like to go back for lunch to get a daytime view of the falls. Highly recommended.

Cheryl Auger — Google review

Another must to do when visiting Niagara Falls. Great views of the falls from above and of the surrounding area. Observation deck has plenty of room to view the falls from many angles.Great tip is to buy the day/night pass to visit the tower twice within 24 hours. The first time we went up was at sunset in late-July. They illuminate the falls every night at 8:30 or 9pm. LED light show on the falls at night is pretty to see. Fireworks show every night at 10pm on the Canadian side of the falls in front of the American Falls. We didn’t watch the fireworks from the tower, but you could as it’s open until midnight every night. Great views of the illuminated falls at night. We returned to the tower the next day with our pass and went up in the tower during the daytime. It’s nice to see the falls at both day and night. You can spend as much time as you want on the observation deck, but we stayed probably 45 minutes to a little over an hour each time we went up there. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

William Unyi — Google review

Tickets are at a good price if you booked it online so it is definitely worth it going here to see Niagara Falls from a different perspective. Being able to view the mist coming from the falls is amazing. It has an indoor and outdoor observation deck so you have choices if you want to view from outside or inside. The elevator staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. It’s nice to go here early in the morning so it isn’t crowded here. Amazing place to see the falls from up top!

Kiet TT — Google review

This place is the star of the show. Easily accessible and had a lesser wait time than the SkyWheel. The elevator goes up there in about a minute so you can take some photos while going up. Once you arrive at the main entrance of the tower. You are greeted with the view of Niagara Falls. It was not that crowded at the time I went (It was a Tuesday) The view is great and you can spend unlimited time there for about 15 CAD. Overall. It's a good place to spend time and relax.

Bulli — Google review

As a tourist who was unsure if doing the restaurant was worth it, if you already want to go to the top of the observation deck, I’d suggest it’s worth it to do.It’s certainly a “touristy” thing to do, but it’s probably worth it overall.DO NOT ORDER THE STEAK. It was definitely one of the most subpar steaks I’ve ever had. But the French onion soup, bread, scallops, and shrimp were some of the BEST I’ve ever had. Incredibly good tasting, slightly smaller meal sizes. But the steak was just plain bad. Don’t order it. Recommend anything else.Important to note that the minimum $49 is supposed to be $49 per person for entree specifically, however if you get good waitstaff (which they all seemed to be) you can get away with the starters counting to your total as well.Beyond that the views are spectacular. The rotating gimmick is fun. Cool to see the falls and eat with that kind of view, and if you were gonna head up for the observation deck anyway, a slightly expensive meal is probably worth it.Bread was super good, and butter is cute (see the last photo)

Spencer McKinnon — Google review

This spot serves the most incredible food. One tip, though: if you can, ask for a window table when making a reservation. While the inner tables still offer a view, you might have to peer past those lucky enough to snag a window seat. The food here is truly top-notch—fantastic selection, and you get a feast for the price. The chefs at this restaurant go beyond creating a meal; it's like a taste of heaven. The staff is highly professional, contributing to a fantastic atmosphere.

Arina Kerz — Google review

The Skylon Tower is a fantastic tourist attraction in Niagara. The views of Niagara Falls from the top are absolutely fabulous. On the ground floor, you'll find a nice Starbucks and a few typical touristy shops. Up at the lookout platform, there's a souvenir shop offering some great keepsakes. There are less vegetarian options. The views from the top are truly stunning, making the glass-fronted elevator ride worth every penny. However, the building's interior could use a modern touch.A tip for budget-conscious visitors: You can park affordably in the car park in front of the tower and enjoy a pleasant walk to the falls instead of shelling out $35 for the official falls parking lots. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience for anyone visiting Niagara."

IMRAN Chaudhry — Google review

An amazing view of Niagara Falls from the Skylon Tower revolving restaurant, on a quiet and clear day we had no wait to enjoy the lift and prompt service before our dinner. A good steak and vegetables with attentive staff, while the restaurant turned and gave us the best views of Niagara Falls. The cost of the dinner was offset slightly by the speedy and free access to the view, and with limited time at the Falls this was good use of our time. Just incredible views which we will always remember.

Andrew Erskine — Google review

We came here to view the eclipse, and it turned out to be a great spot! Although we encountered clouds, the views from the top were some of the best that Niagara Falls has to offer. The staff were friendly, and it was quick getting to the top and back down. Worth checking out for an awesome views of the falls from above.

Michal Brichacek — Google review

Nice quick stop for a different view of the falls.Scenic elevator ride and easy to walk around the observation tower. Was able to buy tickets upon arrival on a Saturday - no issues at all

Jackie Fiedler — Google review

My husband , son and me had a great time going up to the viewing deck with a cute yellow elevator. The elevator staff was so creative , singing , entertaining well the guests. Up there , was so fascinating having the night view of Niagara Falls with different colour changing , on top of that fireworks . Amazing experience. Fee for the viewing deck was reasonable.I suggest to pay for day time and night time viewing. Next trip we will try the revolving restaurant.Highly recommend to try Skylon Tower!

Cynthia Padilla — Google review

A great experience overall, but expensive for what it is.We paid $20 for parking. We ate at the buffet, and per person it came to $75.30.The only reason I wasn’t outraged at that price, was the fact that we got to watch the fireworks over the falls from the observation deck after dinner. The dinner buffet was mediocre. There was a salad bar that had options like pasta salad, couscous salad, beet salad, pickled mushrooms, shrimp, and a few other options. The hot food section had roasted potatoes, mixed vegetables, noodles, rice, chicken fingers, French fries, meatballs, fish, roast beef, ribs, pasta, shrimp and scallops, clams, and a few others. The desert bar had 3 different tarts, squares, cookies, fruit and whipped cream, cake, cupcakes, cheese and perhaps a few I have forgotten. It did seem like you have a better chance at getting a window seat if you have a group of people rather than just 2 people. The staff were top notch! Super friendly and professional!

Kristin Grant — Google review

We lucked out going up and had minimal wait time. The walk around the top goes quick but oh my the views!! 😍 The wait to come back down was a solid 20mins and they do pack the elevator to maximum capacity. Very nice people working, and visiting which was quite refreshing given a few other stops we had made prior. Would definitely do again!

A T — Google review

The view of Niagara falls was amazing. They don’t have many veg options and The food was very overpriced and not worth the money. Very slow service, the staff at the front desk were very rude but the person serving was great. This place is only worth going if you want an amazing view of the falls

priyanka pria — Google review

Fabulous views of Niagara Falls from the top. The ground floor has a nice Starbucks and a few tacky tourist shops. There is also a tourist souvenir shop at the top lookout platform. The views are stunning and worth the money to ride the glass fronted elevator to the top. The whole building looks very 1960’s and needs modernisation inside.Note - it’s possible to park pretty cheaply in the car park in front of the tower and walk to the falls instead of paying $35 to park in the official falls parking lots.

Boyd Ringrose — Google review

A visit to Niagara Falls wouldn’t be complete without experiencing the Skylon Tower. It’s the absolute must-visit spot for capturing incredible pictures of the falls. It has two options for dine in : one with revolving restaurant and other one is buffet restaurant.I took the buffet one as I personally don’t like revolving dining, it cost me $59 for buffet including observation deck . You can wait little bit to get a window seat to click the picture with fall or to enjoy falls while eating . Although I was lucky as it was not at all busy around 9pm so I get seat with no wait.View was spectacular, as it is located 775 feet above the falls. I love this and will highly recommend to live a moment for once .observatory deck was fantastic to view and enjoy the falls .

Simran Chahal — Google review

One of the best places to see Niagara Falls city and the Falls at night. The restaurant on top has a lovely view with an included ticket to the observation floor. However the food is not worth it , since the dishes costs around 50$.

Deimanciukas Deimante — Google review

The experience was not the best. We booked a reservation in advance for 7pm, got there a few minutes early and still had to wait until after 7:30pm to get a seat. Our seat was then placed next to the servers station so we were constantly being bumped into and having to keep an eye on how we moved not to hit someone. The appetizers and dessert were fantastic but the entree was not worth the price. Service did have a few small mistakes but was overall attentive and relatively quick on such a busy night. This would be a great place for kids and tourists but don't come here expecting to have a special night among friends.

O McGrath — Google review

GREAT place to get an amazing view of the Niagra Falls and surrounding areas! If you're visiting the Falls, it is a must visit attraction. It's not that expensive, and the views are incredible. The ride in the elevator takes about a minute. You're almost 800 ft up from the Falls. The tower, the elevators, and the railing/cage were all in great shape, very well maintained, so you have a great sense of security if you're afraid of heights. Expect crowds, it's a popular attraction, but it's so worth it.

Eric Ransone — Google review

You will pretty much be paying for the view only. Their food is nothing extra ordinary. I have had better steaks and bigger portions for better price.Service is okay. Some are nice but not all of them. The platform is rotating, not for everyone in my family as some got dizzy. After dinner you can go up their observation deck where you can have a greater view of the Niagara falls and the city. Will I go there again? No, unless it’s for free. :))

Maris Hazel Cura — Google review

Went for the early bird special, $49 per person 3 course meal. The restaurant revolves while you are eating and you get beautiful views of both sides of the falls. The food was worth every penny, so delicious and the service was really fast. They give you 90 minutes sitting time and there’s no budging. As soon as you finish they are rushing you out to bring in the next batch of people. Included in dinner is also the observation deck which was a great experience, you get to stand outside on the top of the tower and the view is just so beautiful

Jenna Marie — Google review

It was only a 3 minute walk from one of the main parking lots of downtown Niagara. Very nice views! They have a package to come back at night to see the falls (which we didn't do), but I would highly recommend this experience! It's kinda pricey so I wouldn't do it again.

Franca T — Google review

Make a reservation! Amazing views. YES the restaurant revolves, it takes about an hour for a full rotation. They have an observation deck, food and drinks were very good but the atmosphere was even better. It's a little tight up there but service was good and attentive. You take an outside elevator car up to the tower, awesome views (pretty quick ride for those that are afraid of heights). It's a MUST, if you're ever in Niagara Falls!

Chris F — Google review

Great experience visiting the Skylon Tower. This is a beautiful spot to have a slightly more upscale meal and take in the gorgeous view of Niagara Falls’ Horseshoe Falls. We had the great chance to enjoy the buffet in the lower of the two levels, there were many gluten friendly options available for me. After the delicious dinner we made our way up to the viewing deck and spent an hour watching the sunset on the falls and the beautiful lights illuminate the view.

It was a good experience. Although we got a bit lost when we went to see “The Falls 3D/4D” movie. But I highly recommend for someone that works there to put up a sign right by the escalator when coming down to the arcade because it’s separated from the tower itself. We were confused on where to go and didn’t notice a sign on the wall that was FURTHER away from the escalators.AGAIN, different building just FYI for those that buys the ticket for the video/ cinema. The view up there is nice! I highly, recommend to go there during the time when the sun is setting down and it’s becoming nighttime. They have an arcade connected to the Skylon tower but from the looks of it there wasn’t a lot of people there. I was even hesitant to go down there thinking that, that part of the building section is closed for the day.Didn’t see if there’s a restaurant connected to the tower itself but I’ve heard that it was nice.

Stephanie Da Silva — Google review

Had such a wonderful time up there taking lots of pictures and looking at the amazing scenery. The staff are very friendly and will do anything for you . The skylon tower is well set out snd people are very friendly will do anything for you if you ask. You can have professional photos taken there I never had one but for what I saw they were cheeper than other places I have been to. I would go there again tickets were a fantastic price for the view you are gonna at the top . I recommend you go up here and tick it off your bucket list . 5 star from me.

We had an amazing Dinner here! The steak and prime rib were amazing! We ordered the calamari and had to send it back, but that was the only problem we had. The service was great, Vinny and Tom were soo great! They even sent us out a dessert on them because it was our anniversary. It was such an incredible experience. So much food we had leftovers too! So worth the price!

Tanya Byrd — Google review

The last time I was in Niagara Falls was 40 years ago. I wanted to make this trip memorable. One of the highlights was dinner at the Skylon. Dinner and the views of the falls and surrounding areas were magnificent! Dinner here was a 5 star quality. We had the calamari appetizer and French onion soup. Both were excellent. The main course was strip steak and prime rib, and both were cooked to perfection and top-notch. Our server Rosemary was excellent and she put up with our corny jokes. The hot pecan pie with vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream was a nice finishing touch to a fantastic meal. With the exchange rate, and a strong US dollar, the meal was very nicely discounted. Highly recommended. Make reservations.

Joe F — Google review

Our family had an amazing time at the Skylon tower viewing the falls. We also made reservations and had dinner at the restaurant all the way at the top. We had a beautiful view of the falls for dinner. It was a little pricy, but you are paying for the atmosphere and environment. The food was good and enjoyed the service from the staff. Just be patient for the elevator and know that you are in tourist areas. Gift shops were up and downstairs. We ended buying a couple items from the shop.

Patrick Kelly — Google review

Dinner was good but a bit expensive for what you get. If the tower were newer and things were a bit more updated, I would be more okay with the cost. The lower parts of the building are kinda run down and half-abandoned, which was sad to see. The views up top are the only thing that makes up for it, and they are stunning as any could be.

Andrew Sprich — Google review

Awesome place to view the falls and the city!! I would suggest go early if you can. We were there at 9:30am and there were barely a few people - it was great! No crowds of tourist and waiting in line for the elevators. Elevator 3 faces the falls on climb and descent.

Ellie — Google review

Come for the views. Stay for good food and nice service.Skylon Tower appears to have seen better days and is in desparate need of an interior refresh. The interior is battered and worn with most retail spaces shuttered. Unfortunately, there are a number of artifacts, including barrels used to ride over the falls, which are inaccessible - squirreled away in an unused retail space. The food in the rotating restaurant is good and prices are to be expected at a tourist destination. The views of the Falls and the surrounding area are magnificent and the highlight of any visit.

NSA Redacted — Google review

The view was so gorgeous, my goodness. However the bathrooms downstairs were in an inconvenient area and they were disgusting. The staff was friendly. The pictures definitely were corny and a money grab, but hey, it’s a memory. The staff doing the elevator ride was super charming and funny. Worth it!

S. Luk — Google review

We visited from California and we're a but thrown back at how non friendly most people in Canada seemed to be. .. BUT this was one of the few places where that was not the case. SUPER friendly staff. AMAZING view, the steak wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was notable and fairly priced. Portions were perfect. The Strawberry Daqueri was 😚👌🤌The elevator ride is comparable to the Seattle space needle except slightly shorter. The night views are absolutely stunning. The platform rotates slowly so you can sit anywhere and still see the full view cycle. We went around about 1.5x in a 90 min time frame, so nothing crazy.

Leidy Ambriz — Google review

My family and I did the day and night visit. The elevator operators were super friendly and very knowledgeable on both visits. The views were absolutely amazing!

Niagara Falls is a renowned natural attraction situated on the border of Canada and the United States. This majestic waterfall offers guided tours and boat rides, providing visitors with an unforgettable experience. The Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort is located on an impressive eight-hectare property, overlooking this famous landmark. With its 2.

Majestic, Breathtaking and Stunning! The grandeur of the falls can be experienced by taking Maid of the Mist Boat tour and the force of the falls can be experienced by taking the Cave of the winds tour. Be prepared to get soaked in these tours. Seeing the falls up close is truly a surreal feeling which one has to experience. Highly recommended to book Discovery Pass online and save some money for all the major attractions + trolley tour.

Simply breathtaking. This is one of the things every person should visit during their life. One of the best natural landmarks I have ever seen. Please visit if you can. You can even spot raccoons in the park.Visit the Canadian side for better view, but also check the US side.

It is just amazing what mother nature has created for all of us to view! The mist from the falls felt good on the day we went due to very above average temperatures. If you haven't seen the falls in person I would definitely recommend you make time to try!

The falls are very beautiful. They have daily night shows with fireworks, and there are lots of activities to do on Canada and the U.S.A. side. It is $1 to walk across the Rainbow Bridge per person. It was very interesting and it had a spectacular view. Would definitely 6

The sheer power and beauty of the rushing water are truly mesmerizing.🌙 Nighttime Magic:As the sun set, the falls transformed into a magical wonderland. The illumination of the falls with colorful lights is a sight you won't forget. Wow... these falls are an amazing sight. Truly majestic and a bucket list item for sure. The Table Rock Centre is a must see. Amazingly close to the falls for the BEST pics. The behind the falls attraction is really cool, telling the stories of the falls. You literally walk behind the falls, with 2 lookout points half way around the falls.Happy to check this off the bucket list!

What makes Niagara Falls so impressive is the amount of water flowing over. Most of the tallest falls in the world have very little water flowing over them. It's the combination of height and volume that makes Niagara Falls so breathtaking. the falls consists of three falls in total. The largest one is Horseshoe falls, followed by American falls and then Bridal Veils falls. Carries more then 75 gallons of water per second.Worth a visit in a lifetime

Nazia Ahmad — Google review

Niagara Falls is as gorgeous as the say. The area is very commercialized, and I thought that might detract from our enjoyment, but that wasn't the case! We stayed in a room at Embassy Suites on the Canada side. It had an expansive view of all 3 Falls comprising Niagara! We did most of the falls tours on both the Canadian and American sides. Cave of the Winds was our favorite!

Chris Atkins — Google review

It’s amazing how nature can give us a beautiful view with magnificent sound of waterfalls. So peaceful and tranquility! Perfect for family of all ages! To note we went at night and day time. The view is amazing and no one words can be described. Night time has its own unique feel and day time we rode on the Maid of Mist to get the feel of that Niagara Falls experience.

Jennifer Cheng — Google review

Amazing place to visit with the family. While you're likely still able to find one or two items worth buying, it's debatable if you should given the price. Great experience! You have to visit and see it for yourself. I was on the Canadian side because i heard it had more activities and it was so true. The view of the Falls are incredibly beautiful during the day and even more spectacular at night time.Visiting Niagara Falls was a truly awe-inspiring experience. The sheer power and beauty of the falls left me speechless. The view from both the American and Canadian sides is breathtaking, and I recommend seeing it from both angles if possible. The boat tour gets you up close to the falls, and you can feel the mist on your face. The surrounding parks and attractions make it a complete destination. It's a natural wonder that everyone should witness at least once in their lifetime

We came late October at the end of the season. We traveled from PA wanting to see the fall leaves. Overall the town is run down and not very appealing. We were located in a hotel and were able to walk to all the attractions that pretty much can be done in less than a day without using a guide (don’t waste your money). Here are some tipsGoat island: nice walk, can follow the river and stop by numerous lookouts to take pictures. Free to enter (walking) and where you’ll find the cave of the windsCave of the winds: $14 per person, you take an elevator which will drop 130’ and put you at the bottom of the bridal’s veil fall. You then walk in wooden platforms to near the base of the fall. At the time we did it they were already taking down platforms so weren’t able to get close. The whole thing takes less than 10 minutesMaid of the mist: $24.50 per person takes down both sides of the fall (US and Canada). Actually trip is about 10 minutes and the like to pack the boat. Most people go up… stay in the lower deck and in the front as most people will go to the upper deckThe lookout deck: included in the price of the maid of the mist. Super high views of the river and the fallsHowever, the river trail is a nice easy walk to all the attractions and has very pretty small spots that you can discover if you take your time

Visiting Niagara Falls was an experience of a lifetime! The sheer power and majesty of the falls are something you truly have to see to believe. From the moment I approached the falls, the thundering sound and the mist rising into the sky were breathtaking. The viewpoints around the falls offer spectacular, unobstructed views. Whether you’re looking for that perfect photo or just want to stand and marvel at nature’s power, there’s a spot for everyone. I also took the Maid of the Mist boat tour, which brought me up close to the cascading waters - an absolutely thrilling experience!Niagara Falls isn’t just about the falls themselves. The surrounding area is filled with attractions. I particularly enjoyed the Journey Behind the Falls, which offers a unique perspective from behind the water curtain. For families, Clifton Hill is a wonderland of fun, with games, rides, and attractions that can keep you entertained for hours.Even the culinary experiences around Niagara are noteworthy, with a range of dining options that offer both local and international cuisine. And if you’re into wine, the nearby Niagara-on-the-Lake is a must-visit with its exquisite wineries.Overall, Niagara Falls is more than just a natural attraction; it’s a destination that offers a complete and memorable experience. Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or simply a stunning view, Niagara Falls delivers in every aspect. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly unforgettable getaway!

Niagara Falls, a majestic ode to nature's splendour, humbles humanity with its awe-inspiring cascade. The adjacent street, adorned with lively Christmas decorations, amplifies the enchantment. As night descends, a mesmerizing four-minute firework display unfolds, particularly enchanting on winter weekend evenings at 8 pm. This ethereal showcase elevates the experience, transcending the ordinary and fostering a profound sense of wonder. The synchronous magic of the falls and weekend fireworks, under nature's mighty presence, crafts a spellbinding synergy. Visitors depart with indelible memories, having witnessed a truly magical spectacle that unites the power of nature and human celebration seamlessly.

IMRAN Chaudhry — Google review

The falls themselves are impressive and definitely worth seeing at least once in your lifetime. However, the surrounding area is so overly touristy that it feels more like Disney World than the incredible natural wonder it is. We went in September and it was so crowded you were pretty much shoulder-to-shoulder with crowds the entire time. I would love to go back when it’s little less crowded.

Niagara Falls is absolutely stunning, especially at night! The massive waterfalls are breathtaking, and when they're illuminated by colorful lights, it's truly magical. Whether you're taking a boat tour during the day or enjoying the mesmerizing light show at night, the experience is unforgettable. Don't miss out on this incredible attraction!

Niagara Falls consists of the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. Both are amazing and awesome to see from afar and up close on the boat. You can see both Falls for free from great vantage points on the Canadian side or take the Cruise to get up and close to the Falls and experience the mist. They give you a poncho for a reason, because you do get wet.

About as awesome as nature gets. The majesty of this is stunning. On the Canadian side there is a lovely restaurant overlooking Horseshoe falls. Reasonable prices for a natural wonder of the world. We could have stayed all day. Breathtaking in the winter.Boat trips don't run this time in February and still stunning to be there

Chris Larkin — Google review

Well everyone said go to the Canada side to see the falls, they were correct!! Amazing views!! The closer you get you can feel the mist from the falls and you can hear the falls!! Parking was tight and you can spend anywhere from 15 to 25 a day to park depending on location. Also I would plan at least 3 nights maybe 4. There is a lot to do for everyone!!

The falls are beautiful! Lots of viewing areas. There were a lot of people, but there were so many areas to view the falls that it was easy to get a spot at the railings for a great view. Wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms available, gift shop, and drinks available for purchase. Hiking, biking and viewing trails.

Wow, just wow! Absolutely stunning and free to boot. The Canadian side has a better view but the NY side is up close and personal. I’ve traveled the country and glad I got to see this. I especially like the Tesla monument as he doesn’t get enough recognition. Go to Canada if you can as well.

You've got to put this place on your "must-visit" list at least once in your lifetime. It's seriously stunning. And here's a heads-up: don't miss out on the ferry ride. It's a totally unique experience, and it gets you super close to the falls – be prepared to get soaked!

Ivan Corona — Google review

It's a must do destination, words cannot describe how incredibly powerful and amazing this place is.The Canada side also has beautiful parks and gardens and the falls are bigger with access tunnels to go behind the falls. The boat trip is also worth it, and so is the power station tour.

Breathtaking view. Left us absolutely speechless to hear that roar from the falls. Even with a lot of people around, you're able to enjoy the views from many different angles.

Ginger — Google review

What a great experience! We visited both sides of the falls. Gray Line Tours is how we did it. They took care of everything. The falls are absolutely breathtaking. They were "low" when we were there because 80% was being diverted for power stations. Can only imagine what they are like when they are only taking the 20%. We were there the weekend after Thanksgiving. It was definitely cooler but a lot less people too. Would go again!!

Niagara Falls is a famous natural wonder located on the border between the United States and Canada. It consists of three waterfalls: Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. The falls are known for their breathtaking and awe-inspiring beauty. The powerful cascade of water, combined with the mist rising from the falls, creates a truly mesmerizing spectacle. The vibrant energy and the thunderous sound of the falls contribute to an unforgettable sensory experience. We viewed it from the American side. The surrounding area, with its vibrant tourist attractions, complements the natural beauty of the falls. From the iconic Maid of the Mist boat tour to the scenic walkways and observation points, there are numerous ways to appreciate the magnificence of Niagara Falls. I recommend booking the maid of the mist in advance. We visited during holiday season and had to wait in the queue for a while. We enjoyed the nearby town experience, small food trucks which are also open in the night.Overall, a visit to Niagara Falls is not just a sightseeing excursion; it's a journey into the heart of one of the world's most remarkable natural wonders.

I enjoy the breathtaking view of Niagara Falls. It is the combination of water flow from a height and it's volume that makes it an impressive place to visit. One can do a lot of fun activities and gaming in Niagara. You can also enjoy the skywheel ride at Clifton Hills street and enjoy local and foreign food outlets there. You can also see US water falls on the other side. One must visit this beautiful place.

Cave of the Winds is a tourist attraction located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada that offers visitors an up-close and wet view of Bridal Veil Falls. The walkways are made out of wooden boards and lead right up to the falls themselves.

The best experience of Niagara Falls. I have done all the attractions and I think Cave of the Winds is the best among them. In the summer, you're under the bridal veil falls. In the winter, you're a bit further, but can still feel the mist from the falls. Just make sure you take waterproof and fog proof camera or cover as our pictures ended up foggy.

Samiah Alam — Google review

You can get closer to the Falls when you descend 175 feet into the Niagara Gorge and experience the power of the Falls from the Hurricane Deck at Cave Of The Winds.they provide you with a poncho along with the ticket. this is one of the best experiences in the world. You won't be disappointed if you ever plan a trip to the Niagara Falls. It is worth a visit just for the sheer thrill of seeing one of the world's best waterfalls that attracts over 30-million visitors from across the globe, every year.

This was a fantastic adventure, and probably our favorite experience at Niagara Falls (out of lots of awesome experiences). We spent two days at Niagara, and this stood out as the most fun we had there! You basically get to walk underneath Bridal Veil Falls, which is the smallest of the three waterfalls that make up Niagara Falls, but is still huge! They give you ponchos, but if you do it right, you'll still get SOAKED. Great fun!

BEST ATTRACTION ON THE AMERICAN FALLS! I come from Canada and we usually hear horrible stuff about the American side of the falls but this attraction changed my mind. You get crazy close and wet to the falls and you can spend as much time as you want there! Only 20 dollars as well! When I went, it was a pretty nice day but close to when they close. It meant that it wasn't that busy and we waited 0 minutes! This was a Sunday as well! They provide rain jackets for you and overall it's a must try experience!

Eddy Zhang — Google review

Visited the Cave of the Winds over a weekend. The attraction is just so beautiful, we truly enjoyed it. There is an entry fee for all over 6 years which is not expensive for the experience. They have a small video presentation tell a story about the Hydro electric power plant and Niagara Falls role. Post that there is an elevator which takes you down to view the American Fall. The view is gorgeous.

Neeti Prabhudesai — Google review

This is the best attraction in Niagara in my opinion. There was a long queue when we visited. But the wait was totally worth it. This is perhaps the closest you can get to the falls. We carried our backpacks here without knowing that we would get drenched by the sprays. Nevertheless, a very refreshing experience.

Saiprabhu B — Google review

Our family decided to do Cave of the Winds on a recommendation from staff at the Marriott we were staying at nearby. We're also all afraid of heights, and abandoned plans to do the Maid of the Mist after seeing the glass elevator tower you ride up and the bridge you have to walk across.Once you officially enter, your group piles into a room for a very quick history recap of the Niagara falls. Thankfully, this video is only about 5 minutes long and is entertaining so it will not bore the kids (or adults) with a history lesson. After exiting you walk through a tunnel and to an elevator, which takes you down to the base. This is all truly self-guided, you get whatever you want out of it. It can be as quick as you want it to be. We were in and out in about 20 minutes, took some great photos and videos at Hurricane Deck and got out. So glad we did this instead of the boat ride, I feel like you really got to feel the power and take in the beauty much more this way than viewing from a boat.

Alex — Google review

Amazing experience and not nearly as busy as I thought it would be. I loved the video they show before hand and the history of the falls. Be prepared to get wet. We came here first because I was worried about the lines, but many smart people went to Maid of the Mist first and brought that poncho since it is a little bit nicer. Must do experience if you are in the area.

Jacob Kizer — Google review

Expect to get wet, unless you don't walk far outside the cave... The history lessons (video/signage) inside are really interesting. But the view and Feel of the Falls are worth repeating. If you prepare to get wet, the crashing water and gorgeous views are some of the cleanest and best you can have in nature.

Rick J — Google review

While I still wholeheartedly believe the Canadian side of the Falls offers better views, this is hand-down one of the best experiences at Niagara. It’s amazing value for what you pay. Our experience started in a museum-like room with information on the history of the falls. I loved the interactive parts of it and we were soon let into a theatre where we watched a film summarizing the past, present and future of the falls. The theatre was quite amazing at displaying something I’d find boring in a book interesting through a multi-media display. There were physical frames and effects for things like lightning. Theexperience at the bottom is definitely what you want, though. It’s unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced and the walkway is well built to ensure you have a thorough tour and sufficient photo-ops. Absolutely must-do!

Emma — Google review

It was a cloudy, foggy day for a visit here. I’ve been to the States 1000+ times and never been the the American side of the Falls. But I finally made it there. It was pretty (but I like the view from Canada better). I will visit again on a nice day to do the walking trail & find out what the Cave of the Winds is all about.

Michelle N — Google review

We absolutely loved it. Summer and spring is probably the most busiest time of year. End of November is chilly and not many people. It was super quick to get in. Go into to y museum type area, then watch a 8 minute movie then take a 175 feet journey to the bottom of gorge and stand by falls. Great pics. Very interesting and breathtaking.

Vibez Crazy — Google review

Amazing experience. I loved it so much. The cost is about $19 for adults and about $14 for kids. There was a line but it went quick. You are able to pick a time slot.Once you enter into the building there is a museum on the history of the falls and then you watch a small video about the waterfalls. You then will exit and get a poncho; that is when the real fun begins. There are stairs to go up and down. The further up the waterfall you climb; the more you will get wet. There is a section called hurricane and it is the most wind and water of the whole experience. Some tips are to wear the poncho from the maid of the mist (if you go to that experience first), wear shoes that are able to get wet (no socks), dress lightly, waterproof your cameras and/ or phones and most importantly have fun.*PS you will get soaked*

Tati C — Google review

Extremely fun activity to do with older kids. You will get drenched on this walk, there is no way to avoid it. They have rubber guards down on the floor/steps but can still be slippery so watch your step. A great experience and a must while in Niagara Falls. They are currently open later than the time listed so always check on the official website.

Norma Nelson — Google review

Niagara Falls is truly breathtaking, but the experience of being in the Cave of the Winds takes it to a whole new level! It's an absolute must-do activity, and you shouldn't leave without experiencing it.You will get wet, even though they give you a yellow poncho, it will not keep you fully dry, especially your shoes, so wear clothes and shoes that can get wet (The stairs are steep and slippery make sure to bring a good pair of shoes), and overall, have fun! This place is a gem and you can see The Creator form a different perspective!!Quick note: Don’t waste your time trying to buy tickets online, Cave of the Winds tickets must be purchased at the Plaza on Goat Island.

Yelcin Pinto — Google review

Tickets are $14 for adults and have a 10 minute wait for each group. The film was very informative and explained the history of the falls, the view was great as it allowed us to see the bottom of the falls without going to Canada.

B Gammon — Google review

The view here is absolutely stunning, especially with a rainbow! The ticket is $14 per adult, which allows you to watch a short film about the history of Niagara Falls, visit a small museum for interaction, and provides elevator access to view the stunning waterfall.

Coby Khor — Google review

While the popular maid of the mist boat tour offers an amazing experience from the water, cave of the winds allows you to get up close to the Bridal Veil Falls by foot. They are no longer giving out sandals. Wearing proper footwear is a must as your foot will get wet no matter how careful you are. A poncho is however provided. Staying dry knee length upwards is possible if you are less adventurous and decide not to get too close to the falls. But for the best pictures with the Bridal Veil Falls, you will get slightly wet.The journey starts with a brief tour around a mini museum and a short show. While this is not the main attraction, I recommend spending at least half an hour to learn about the history of the falls if you’re not already accustomed to it.After the show, there will be an elevator ride taking you down into the Niagara Gorge. And as you venture out along the walkways, you’ll be able to see Canada and the maid of the mist boat tour.An experience that cannot be missed when visiting Niagara Falls. It engages all your senses and enables you to appreciate the wonders of perhaps the most impressive falls in the world, if not the most.

Eu Ken Ng — Google review

No wait—visited end of March and it was practically deserted! Informational video before riding the elevator 175 feet down to view the falls from below. Keep ticket after the movie because you do have to walk around outside to the elevator.

Caroline Trobough — Google review

Tip of the cap to the staff for being able to handle the massive surge in visitors for the eclipse weekend. Really great experience to get so close to the American falls. The kids also lived seeing the throngs of snakes on the rocky walls up the canyon. Since my last visit years ago, they added a movie experience as you queue for the elevators down the canyon, which was a nice plus. Not being able to buy tickets in advance was a minus. The tickets are timed (which is great), but must be purchased at the ticket booth, which requires wasting time in a line.

Kent 19 — Google review

A must visit on the US side of the Niagara Falls. You get to stand beneath one of the falls and experience upfront the majestic beauty of the waterfall. You get to see the charming skyline of the Canada’s side of the falls. Unfortunately, part of the bridge was closed when I went this time, so I wasn’t able to experience the full attraction as I remembered a few years back. Still, this attraction is a must when visiting the falls

Great views for the price. You get your tickets at the little building, step into the interactive room to watch a six minute film, then head out to the elevator and down to the falls. You get handed a Pancho, you will get wet, even if you’re not trying to, you arms, pant legs and shoes will get wet. The more wet you get depends on you and how long you stand under the falls area. Great views down there!

I visited the Cave of winds in 2016 and loved the experience and recently visited again with my husband!Imagine going right under the Bridal veil falls of Niagara and getting drenched with the high speed waterfall.. it took my breath away both times and is so thrilling!!They give you a yellow raincoat but it is difficult to remain completely dry in this experience. Initially they gave non slippery sandals as well but looks like that is discontinued now, so be sure to wear good footwear as the stairs are slippery. You begin the tour with a great video about Niagara's history and then take a lift ride down to see the wonder. The price of $21 is so worth it for this experience! We went on the labor day weekend and since we reached around 10am we easily got parking ($15) right outside the cave of winds. We noticed that parking was full and closed to people as we were leaving, so it is better to arrive earlier on weekends.

The Niagara SkyWheel, located on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls, provides breathtaking panoramic views of the area's landmarks from a height of 175 ft. Visitors can enjoy a ride on the wheel for a range of time periods and views ranging from the Horseshoe and American Falls to the Niagara River and Niagara Parks.

It was an amazing experience to see Niagara Falls from the sky wheel. We took a fun city pass which was about around $106 dollars and covers five attractions nearby including sky wheel. The view of the falls was really nice to see. They have dedicated place to park the stroller if you traveling with kids.

love it. nice to go on at night to see the night view of the Niagara Falls downtown. it is also nice to go in the day time!! The staff sanitize the seats and spray clean the cart before we get in. The overall experience was very good. I definitely recommend to go on the skywheel if you are there

You should try itBrought some friends visiting from Spain on a Thursday evening. We got our tickets and seats really quickly. Admission was $17 per adult. I would say the ride lasted about 12-15 minutes. We got 4 full rotations, so there were lots of opportunities to take photos. The last 2 rotations went slowly as they let off other passengers. We got a great view of Clifton Hill and the dinosaur mini putt lit up at night. The view of the falls lit up is much better than in my photos.

It's first come first serve so unless you think you can get a discount buying in advance, I see no advantage doing so. Great views! Good thing to do early to get a lay of the land in Clifton Hill Park. The pods are air conditioned. Also a great way to rest and cool off if needed. No need to bring a towel!

Towelie Reviews — Google review

Nice view, enclosed gondola, but a little pricey ($15/adult).Kids will love it. The wait isn’t very long and once all the gondolas are filled it goes around ~3 times. You have a nice view of the falls, and of the dinosaurs in the mini put course. It’s a cool ride.

Rawad Elias — Google review

Awesome experience. I do wish it lasted a little longer, considering the price. But other than that, it was great! Nice views. They really need to clean the windows inside the cabins though. Super dirty, so hard to enjoy the view!

Clara Anne — Google review

We've been on this a couple of times and it's been so great every single time. The view of the falls is mesmerizing and otherwise the view of the Niagara city is also amazing. Definitely to get on if you're visiting the place. It's right next to the Clifton Parking Lot. The price is very reasonable compared to the number of rounds. Very comfortable and stable ride. The staff is good and friendly. When our parents/in-laws visited, we made sure to bring them here. Very nice views.

Jay Mehta — Google review

A fun experience! The cost of this attraction is decent $15 per adult and $ 7 per child. The wait is a little long snd seemed to be longer in the evening. The customer service was good, actually better than I expected. A great view of the surrounding area!

Solange — Google review

Had a Fantastic experience here. Do bring your camera/phone, the views are amazing. What's great is that each party gets their own compartment to ride in. Climate controlled with audio. I do have to mention Dave the attendant, he was knowledgeable and friendly, thank you Dave.

TP G. — Google review

Completely recommended if it’s your first time in Niagara. It gives you a great idea of what this city has to offer. The view is amazing and makes the trip worth it. Ride isn’t expensive either. $14 for 10 min approx isn’t too bad for the experience lived.

Julian Mendez — Google review

Good view of the falls and the city. The car was air-conditioned and felt very stable. They play the same 3 songs over and over again, but you do have the option to mute it. Worth doing, but maybe not worth standing in line for a long time.

Sarah G — Google review

One of the iconic experience at Clifton hill. You get a beautiful birds eye view. There are around 3 rounds and it usually goes slow to soak in all that surrounds you. They have audio guide narrating about the places you see around. I also liked that they do have the option to turn the audio off, also have light and fan switch. The views might feel repetitive by the 3rd round but I would still suggest to have this one time experience.

Sakina Dahodwala — Google review

Bought the pass to check out a bunch of attractions, but this was the top one we wanted to do. Very much enjoyed it. Expected it to be a quick bit around, but went around multiple times. Loved the view, the air conditioning and even enjoyed the music that was playing.

Michelle Stemmler — Google review

Absolutely beautiful view, you get a good time on the wheel itself as you get about 4-5 full spins before being let off. Hundreds of photos opportunities and you're able to get a great view of the volcano at the Dino Golf which occasionally spits out fire! (It'll probably go off about 4 times during your time on the wheel)It costs $15 standard (13+) and $7 for children (12 and under)

Ahmed Ahmed — Google review

Niagara has been my backyard growing up in Hamilton Ontario. I always wanted to try the wheel but they always had massive line ups waiting for hours. The day we visited Niagara Falls was busy but the line at the wheel was short so me and the wife decided to try it out. 15$ admission ticket and it’s a quick 10 minutes ride. Price is fair and the view is pretty nice depending on when you are taking the ride. We had a sunset view from the sky wheel. Good experience overall and good worth for the money for the 350 Niagara Falls views!

UFS — Google review

I'm actually scared of ferris wheels but this one is very good! Amazing views of the falls, and the ride feels safe and smooth. It rotates about 3 full times around and the ride lasts about 10 minutes. Overall, it's a nice way to see the falls, and definitely recommend it!Also, we got this with a bundle to see other attractions. I think it's a good deal!

David Nagel-Nunez — Google review

I generally like to do these sorts of sightseeing gondola Ferris wheels around sunset, which I did with this one. I'm not sure that's the best time to go, but then again, I don't think it's the best view of the falls either. You *can* see both falls from the top - better the American falls, but it's a bit far from the Canadian horseshoe falls. I didn't try the Skylon Tower, but I bet it has a better view of the bigger falls. As for the sunset, it sets on the opposite side of your view from the falls, so it's not a great sunset view, and the light doesn't hit the falls in any way. But it can still be nice. There are 5 revolutions total, and plenty of time to see the view very well. The gondolas are air-conditioned, and you can mute the music in the cab if it gets too annoying.Note that you can buy a ticket at the base of the Skywheel, and there's another ticket booth out on the street. This one was much less crowded on my middle-of-the-week visit and I could walk right on. If you buy ahead of time, you still have to check in at the booth with the line, so there's not much use. Make sure to find the $1 off coupon that's available online or get a package deal for the best value.

Sara Beth Wade — Google review

Never in my life I have liked ferry’s wheel - rather pretty scared of them. Visited Niagara falls twice earlier but could not muster the courage to ride this literally “giant wheel”… but at last decided to give it a try and that too with my elderly mother and 1 year old son… the experience was, if not surreal, was quite pleasant.. the pace of the wheel would not make you feel giddy and it is secured enough to make you feel safe… the view, too, is worth it.. Priced at 15 CAD+ tax, it seemed quite reasonable.. you can save a dollar with some easily available coupons, if you wish.. give it a try if you are in the area and it is definitely good for someone who is scared of ferry’s wheel but still want to be a bit “adventurous” sometimes…

Arnab “Riku” Samadder — Google review

The workers are extremely nice and it is easy to get tickets. It is a very nice view with a dinosaur mini golf course right next to it. You get a good view, dinosaur status everywhere, and really nice workers and customers.

Karl Williamson — Google review

Skywheel experience is awesome. My kids liked this very much. There was a nice view of waterfalls, Rainbow bridge, US Side view alongwith the city view.It took sometime in line to reach to Gondola and around 5 to 6 rounds. Cabin was also clean, good, spacious. It wqs having emergency button, fan and audio turn on/off button for the usage.

Pramendra Gaur — Google review

I visited Niagara Skywheel this summer 2023, and I had a good experience. I paid $15 for a ticket, and I expected to get a panoramic view of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. The ride was smooth and it lasted about 10 minutes. I think it was a good way to see the falls from a different angle especially if it was your first time. I also think that kids would love this place, as there are a lot of other attractions and activities nearby.

Shireen ib — Google review

Great views, friendly workers, clean boxcar, several rotations, and a short wait to get started. What else can you ask for?! Purchased the activity package card in advance, and it was easy to scan thru. Not my first time but getting new memories with my god-daughters, my niece, and my sister- priceless!

Martrice Gandy — Google review

Buy tickets in advance and save yourself some money. Cool experience but not really worth the price of admission IMO. Every city seems to have something similar but you know the saying, “when in Rome”. Once you’re up there the excitement wears off quickly.

Craig Taylor — Google review

It was an amazing 8min ride. You can see a full sky view of Niagara Falls and its surroundings. As I personally recommend to take the skyWheel around sunset time.

The Niagara SkyWheel offers a breathtaking experience with stunning views of the Falls and the surrounding area. It's a must-visit attraction for anyone visiting Niagara Falls. The ride is smooth, the staff is friendly, and it's a fantastic way to take in the beauty of the region from above. Don't miss out on this unforgettable adventure!

Always a great attraction to visit! This time, there was barely a line-up, and we rode in the evening. Great to see the attractions in Niagara from above!

Mary Margaret Peralta — Google review

The Ride was safe and the staff friendly. I enjoyed every moment of the ride. Once on the upper level, I could see Niagara Falls and other activities down below very clearly and could see far into the town. It was worth the money.

Park

Nature & Parks

Niagara Falls State Park is renowned for its famous waterfalls, which are the main attraction. In addition to the stunning falls, visitors can also enjoy an aquarium and a restaurant. The park is located on Goat Island, where one can admire breathtaking views of American and Bridal Veil Falls. The island itself is heavily wooded, providing ample opportunities for exploration along its footpaths, including a path leading to Three Sisters Islands.

Great experience and enjoyable national park. Taking advantage of the winter season and it’s low occupancy, we dared to adventure the Niagara Falls. This was an outstanding visit and we got to enjoy a one on one type of tour with park staff down to the cave of winds (a must). The paid fee for this includes a detailed explanation of the Fall’s construction process and the Tesla discovery and implementation process of AC generation (fully recommended. It was a fairly cold 🥶 season but with proper clothes you should be ok even with walking around the open areas. The park is very well mapped and I advise stopping by the visitors center to get an updated map and walking indications to get to know the park better.Be aware on that during winter season, some deck and boat attractions are closed, including Lune island but waiting time are very much non-existing, in contrast of summer, when lines can take up to 4hours to complete.

I genuinely cannot describe how amazing my experience here was. The sights are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. There's so many little spots, it's pretty affordable (10-15 dollars for a days parking) as well as a trolley ride around the park for 3 dollars per person. I can't recommend this place enough, it was 100% worth the 4 hour drive.I was never a huge park enthusiast until I went here. I plan to go to other state parks because this kind of beauty genuinely is wonderful. The wildlife is pretty too. There's lots of squirrels, and the critters are friendly. One of them gave me a high five :)

Natures beauty at its best. Must visit place in the world. It's really amazing to see how the state park is maintained considering this is one of the places on earth with a lot of footfall of tourists. The place is so huge and built without disturbing nature's beauty. Considering that the place was a mess with factories years back, the work done to design it in the way it is now is truly inspiring. Adding some tips for visitors to plan the day1. Day and time - Start early to see the beauty of early morning falls with a bit of fog around. Witnessing the beauty of the sun, removing the fog slowly, and giving clarity to the falls is something to watch. State Park is open 24 hours. On a nice sunny day, you will be able to cover everything in just 1 day2. Parking - there is a lot of parking. There are three big parking spaces. Two in goat Island, and one in the maid of mist side. Parking rates are different for seasons and weekends. Maximum is $153. Attractions I visited in orderA. Parked at goat Island parkingB. Watched terrapin pointC. Cave of windsD. Maid of Mist & observation towerE. AquariumF. Bus tour to Luna, three sisters islandsG. Light showH. Fireworks4. Cave of winds - must do. Never miss. You will feel the power of the water standing below the US side falls.5. Maid of mist - must do. Experience of lifetime. Takes you near the horseshoe area in a boat6. Aquarium - walkable from Maid of mist area. sea lion show is must watch. Only 1 hour needed to finish this7. Fireworks and lighting - stay till 10 pm to see this. It's worth the wait. Observation tower is the best place to watch8. Food - a lot of food trucks available right outside the state park serving good food9. Bus tour - it could get tiring without this because there is a lot to walk around. It was $3 and can be used on any bus inside the park the whole day10. Rest areas and rest rooms - it's a park neatly maintained and full of trees. So loads of places to rest. Rest rooms are also available and very neatly maintained

Unbelievably GORGEOUS as always regardless of the season. The nature along with the scenery of the Niagara Falls is breathtaking. It is so beautiful that words cannot justify how incredible it is to explore the park. There's so much to do and see that 1 week here is just not enough. Regardless if you are exploring the Niagara Falls from Canada or New York side. It is a MUST visit in this lifetime. No videos or photos can capture all of its beauty, just plain God's masterpiece. ❤️

Tammie Nguyen — Google review

Many years we went to the Niagara falls on the Canadian side since it has the horse shoe portion of the falls. From the Canada side, we look to see the American Falls and often thought that we had it better on the Canadian side.We visited the Niagara Falls State Park for the first time today, and this park proved me wrong. This park shows the falls in all of their wonders. The walk along the river was awesome. The view of the Horseshoe fall was closeup, much closer than the Canadian side. The setting of the park in its natural surroundings blows my mind, at every turn, you can have one breathtaking view after the next. Our visit was in late winter, as the mist and cold water caused some discomfort, but they also allowed us to brave the cold and enjoyed the view as long as we could tolerate the inclement conditions. We would definitely come back when it is warmer. This is a much better angle to view the falls. I now can definitely say that this is a better side to enjoy the falls.

I went to Niagara falls in 2020 both winter and summer, This is one of the most amazing experiences in New York. The state park was clean and well maintained, and there are plenty of things to see and do in addition to marvelling at one of the wonders of the world. It sure is a natural wonder that is not to be missed! Nature really is mind blowing specially when you hear the sound of gallons of water going through rapids which such strength every second! We loved it and sure soaked in the beautiful scenery and the views of those gorgeous falls! At night time, there is a light show that goes on from 8pm to 2am. You see lights of different colors reflected into the Horseshoe Falls and these are seen by one of the sections close to the Cave of the Winds. You will love it and sure enjoy the experience! The Observation Tower is on the main area close to the town. If you stay in any If the hotels that are close by, the walk is about 8 to 10 min. Parking at the park is $10 (weekday) or $15 (Friday and weekends) in any of the 4 lots. There is a trolley that you can purchase tickets ($3) to take you from the island to the observation tower. Good option if you don't want to be walking around all day. The Observation Tower costs $1.25 and you can see both the Horseshoe Falls and American Falls. The Maid of the Mist boat trip and the Cave of the Winds are extra and you can do them separately or in a package. We saw people getting soaked, so be prepared to be wet! This is one of the other best experiences I had in the USA. see the beautiful Niagra Falls up close and personal. We were so blessed to be able to get the last boat tour of 2020. We were not aware of their schedules. So we were happy we went there at the nick of time. We stayed there until night time. We had a lot of pictures taken. Niagara Falls was powerfully beautiful. It was mesmerizing.

Gayan Sampath — Google review

The park on the USA side is beautiful that they have preserved the area right up to the falls as a park. The Canadian side looks like they have commercialized it that there's no park there just sight seeing tours, views, things to do. Which they also have on the USA side, but the ,USA has a walking trail with wooded areas around the park. We saw several people riding bikes, scooters, etc... to get around. Some brought their pets and was taking photo opts with them. Others had family, children, or friends with them and were doing the same. We spoke to a man that was here visiting from Australia and said they walked across the bridge to see from the Canadian side and paid nothing on the USA side but to return to the USA side they had to pay 1.00 to get back. The fireworks were nice, the lights on the falls at night are nice, and the cooler evening with the mist of the falls on your face was a nice change to the hot days from home. We saw solid black squirrels, and other wildlife, cherry trees and mulberry trees there on the trails, and other natural beauties.

Jennifer Miller — Google review

Yes, the American side is feels more nature-y when it comes to the Falls. The parking is more affordable at the state park. The state park was such a beautiful place to walk around. Perfect for a full day with a picnic lunch somewhere in the park. Lots of options! So many different views of the river and rapids from here; it is more than the falls alone. We visited here Day 2 of our trip and found it was the perfect addition to seeing the falls up close.

jem brickner — Google review

The park is maintained really well, super clean and during the summer, great grounds keeping. It's worth the trip of going through the park on foot. There are some great trails to explore. The views of the falls give you a unique view and a better up close view than on the Canadian side.

My aunt was visiting from NYC and she wanted to go to the Niagara Falls. We were there on Monday at around 4:30-5 PM.It was a beautiful afternoon and it wasn’t too crowded. We took many pictures and enjoyed the nice walk from the Main Island to Goat Island. They had plenty of restrooms and they were somewhat clean.By the time we were done walking, it was a little past 6 PM. We decided to stop at the gift shop on the way back to the parking lot, but they were closed! They had just closed at 6 PM. It was unfortunate because the window displays had cute items that we wanted to check out.I would visit this park again on a nice day. In the winter they block of the access area to the falls, but you can enjoy the views from afar. It also gets very windy and cold in this area during the winter.

Niagara Falls State Park, a magnificent natural wonder, offers an unrivaled experience of raw beauty and power. The park's centerpiece, the awe-inspiring Bridal Veil Fall, is a sight to behold, with its thunderous waters cascading into the misty abyss below. A visit to Goat Island provides an intimate encounter with the falls, allowing visitors to feel the spray on their faces and hear the roar of the water up close.Evenings at the park are transformed into a magical spectacle with the dazzling fireworks display, lighting up the sky above the falls in a kaleidoscope of colors. It's a mesmerizing sight that complements the natural beauty of the falls. For the best experience, visiting during late spring or early autumn is recommended. During these times, the weather is pleasant, and the park is less crowded, offering a more serene experience. Additionally, visiting during weekdays can help avoid the weekend rush.Niagara Falls State Park is not just a destination; it's an unforgettable experience, merging the beauty of nature with the thrill of adventure. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an exhilarating adventure, this park is a must-visit destination that will leave you in awe of nature's grandeur.

Every minute spend here was worth it. It’s just beautiful to be here and when you go on ride if you are lucky you can witness rainbows. WHEN YOU ARE ON RIDE JUST STAND ANYWHERE NEAR RAILING AND WHOLE COMING BACK YOU CAN RECORD 360 VIEW OF THE PLACE BECAUSE THEY ROTATE THE WHOLE BOAT.Don’t not miss sunset and light show just after the sun set. It will be very windy out there so please wear full clothes.

Pranjal Jain — Google review

The best way to observe the Niagara Falls up close while enjoying a nice and long hike back and forth to one of the parking lots near the horseshoe or the American falls. Otherwise you can park near one and then park near the other. Contrary to the outrageous parking fees charged on top of the hotel daily rates, on the streets or in parking lots on the Canadian side, parking on the Niagara Falls State Park is very affordable. The trail along the river through the park is beautiful. It has a metal grid fence that can be used as a banister, the pavement is smooth so it’s wheel chair accessible and there’s plenty of benches and rest areas to relax. Along the trail there are various attractions including the bridal veil falls, a statue of Tesla and a bridge where you can appreciate the ferocious current of the river before it reaches the Falls. Although only partial views of the Falls are available on the US side, the trade off is to hear the roar of the falls. It’s simultaneously mesmerizing and terrifying.

Margarida Bernardo — Google review

Plan your time so you can see the falls with the lights at night. The next morning we returned to enjoy the attractions. There are multiple overlook areas. Check out the paved hiking trail along the rapids leading to the falls. The water is roaring by it's so powerful and dangerous. If you are taking the trolley for the transportation, it will save time walking. But, if you want to hear the tour.......good luck. The speaker is not audible with everyone talking around you. Park is clean. Plenty rocks or benches to rest and take in the views. Be sure to pay admission to walk out on the deck which gives you a better look at all the falls. Still the Canadian side has the best views but suprised how much we enjoyed this side of the falls too.A huge expanse of natural beauty, this oldest state park in the U.S. offers biking, fishing and cross-country skiing, and contains plenty of hiking and walking trails, including the Niagara Gorge Trail System, which affords great views of both the falls and the gorge

Kalyani — Google review

One of my most favorite places to visit in the entire US. It is such a wonder of nature! Pictures and videos don’t do this place justice— one has to experience the sheer beauty and grandeur to truly appreciate it. I prefer the US side a lot more than the Canada side. The US side felt more like a park where they have tried to preserve the nature (trails to walk right up to the falls, places to sit in the park, birds and squirrels running around, etc.). Canada side appears to be a lot more commercialized. There are a lot of tours and activities available. Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds are highly recommended and are very reasonably priced. I would recommend getting a hotel as close to the Falls as possible so you can walk to the park instead of driving. Night views are fantastic and it’s really nice to spend time in the park after sunset. Fireworks were OK, the light show was more interesting.

Nazmus S — Google review

Amazing waterfall that everyone should visit, but be prepared for crowds. We were there right at 9:00 and it was fine, but by the time we left at 10:00 there were lots of people and parking lots filling up. The park should do more to keep the place cleaner. Quite a bit of litter throughout.

Prudence Lahti — Google review

This place is awesome. The views are totally worth the trip no matter how far it may be. I've been trying to come here for years. I'm glad I finally did. The waterfall area is absolutely amazing and peaceful. Photo taking places all over the place. It's definitely a wonder of the world. It's very, very busy and the parking is horrible and very expensive, 25-40 $. As well as the gift shops are expensive. Very very crowded all over the place top to bottom of the falls. Huge tourist attraction with a lot of people traffic and car traffic. Even with all that, it's still one of the best things I've ever seen as a waterfall.

Rustan Porter — Google review

Lots of wonderful places to take pictures and see the majesty of the falls! Plenty of places to sit and take a breather with all the walking, or grab a ride on the trolley to shuttle between the falls locations. Stay late to see the falls lit up at night and the small (5-10 minute) but very nice fireworks at 10! Worth seeing at least once.

Loved our visit. Kids were able to make buttons, and photo frames. Took a lovely guided tour and the tour guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Mist gets cold in November but it's beautiful seeing where it freezes.

If you are thinking of coming here, come. It’s so nice, well kept, plenty to do and you won’t regret it. There are stores and shops across the street. Plenty of walking areas with great views. The caves of winds is accessible through the park. Plenty of parking that’s only 10 dollars to get in. I can imagine it gets busy during the weekends and summer times but in Nov on a weekday it was lovely.

Awesome state park! Free to visit and if you like walking around it’s great as there’s tons of paths throughout. They have a good amount of bathrooms and water fountains around too. Felt like walking around a mini central park in new york. You can decent views of the falls from here, too. Dogs are welcomed on the pathways too which was quite fun.

I was told before going "yeah it's pretty, but it's boring" by a lot of people... then arrive and felt very unprepared! There was tons to do and see! Absolutely beautiful park, lots to do, very noticeably clean! It is absolutely breathtaking. Cannot wait to go back! Just note everything is cashless in the park.

I visited Niagara Falls State Park two years ago, and let me tell you, it was a mist-ical experience! The breathtaking views of the falls left me in awe from start to finish. The park is incredibly well-maintained, with easy-to-navigate pathways that offer different vantage points to admire the sheer power and beauty of the falls. The sound of rushing water is both soothing and exhilarating, creating a natural symphony that adds to the overall experience. My advice to fellow visitors: wear a raincoat! Trust me, you'll thank me later. The mist from the falls is no joke, and it adds an extra layer of excitement to your journey. Don't worry about looking a bit silly; it's all part of the fun!The observation decks provide stunning panoramic views, allowing you to capture some envy-inducing photos. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a photography buff, or just someone looking for a serene escape, Niagara Falls State Park has something for everyone. The surrounding greenery and well-maintained gardens add to the overall charm of the park, creating a perfect blend of natural beauty and human ingenuity. The facilities, including clean restrooms and informative signage, enhance the overall visitor experience. While the park does get busy, especially during peak hours, the sheer magnificence of the falls overshadows any crowds. Plus, the bustling atmosphere adds a sense of shared wonder as visitors from around the world gather to witness this natural wonder.Niagara Falls State Park is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a memorable and awe-inspiring experience. Just remember to bring your raincoat, embrace the mist, and let the beauty of the falls leave you utterly captivated. It's a trip you won't soon forget!

I’ve been to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls many times since I was a kid and it was only this October when I finally visited the American state park for the first time. It certainly won’t be my last! The state park is a lot more natural and tranquil than the glitzy commercialization on the other side. Although the view of the falls might not be as full as the Canadian side, it is just as impressive as you can get much closer to it on the broken bridge, which can be accessed for free after hours. Goat Island is a great place for a walk. It was easy to find parking, albeit that was probably due to my visit being in the afternoon of a chilly late October day. The one issue, though, was the difficulty of finding public washrooms in the later afternoon, after the visitor centres had closed. Some portable washrooms would have been helpful.

Andrew Yin — Google review

Really amazing... it's gorgeousI hope I will come back in summer to see it again and also from the Canadian side. The only thing I didn't really like it was the activity (and online during winter) the activity give you a perfect view under the niagara falls but you need to pay $14 ... and in the summer it's the same price but you have way more access so its dumb to make us pay full price for a little portion...

The White Water Walk is a tourist attraction with a boardwalk that spans the Niagara River, which is home to some of the wildest white water rapids in North America. The boardwalk takes tourists past the powerful whirlpool rapids and 410-million-year-old rock layers of the gorge.

I always want to see the rapids up close and be safe. I must have passed by this place hundreds time. Now I know about it, I had to go. "White Water Walk" is the place where you can immerse yourself into it. We went down the elevator; 70m deep and it took only 30 seconds. You walk through this cool tunnel (great for a hot day). At the end of the tunnel, you can hear and see the rapids. So tranquil. You can walk down the beautiful boardwalk which takes you along the gorge. So many spots for great pic opportunities. Take your time and enjoy the sound of water crashing against the rock. This is everyone needs to visit when you are in Niagara Falls. It costs $17 per person. Go early and have a time of your life.

Visited on 21-June-2022: Its a must watch attraction during your visit to the Niagara Falls. It offers you to watch the furry of the Niagara river from a very close view point in the gorge. Ancient rocks on both sides of the gorge not only offer a mesmerizing view but also a respite from the heat on a warm summer day due to their low temperature.Parking is available on the road and in the specified lot (3$CAD/h). An elevator takes you down the gorge (23 storeys). As soon as you come out of the elevator you feel the coldness of rocks, which has caused the air to condense on the surface of the rock (you can feel the water droplets by touching the rock while walking in the tunnel). Most Importantly, you don't need to do any hike to enjoy this view, so its very family friendly and perfect for all ages. Minimum 30-min are needed to finish the entire board walk but for taking pictures and to enjoy the moment, anywhere from 1-1.5h should be enough. There is no official time limit on the time spent here. If you feel very hot on a warm day and want to go back to your hotel, better to go here as you will feel a totally different weather down there.Tickets can be purchased on site (17$-Adult) but better to check online for updated info before heading out due to Covid (A Niagara Pass is also available that includes more attractions, so you can check which option suits you better).

Wonderful little excursion. You descend 26 stories to the waters edge. The sound of the water rushing by is extremely relaxing. New work and platforms added. Don’t worry it’s not a very long hike. Just lots of beautiful nature to take in.

David Brodosi — Google review

Beautiful walk on river. Can really see the force of river and class 6 rapids. Must be able to walk, slippery at times, probably no wheelchair access. Personally I wouldn't risk it if not in tip top physical shape or condition.

Jeanne Fallon — Google review

Such a beautiful place and experience - totally worth the trip! However, the trail is quite short and I do find it a bit expensive to pay $17/person. If you're planning on making a day of it - I would recommend looking into purchasing Niagara Falls Passes from niagaraparks.com because it includes a lot more experiences and will probably save you money in the long run.

Kyle Kiss — Google review

An awesome must see when you visit Niagara Falls. Do yourself a favor and don’t just see the Falls and go home. Make sure you visit White Water Walk. It’s not far from the Falls and doesn’t take too long to enjoy it. You will take a quick elevator down 20 stories and emerge right at the roaring river’s edge. It is only then will you appreciate the power and beauty it the Mighty Niagara River. These are the highest rated (6) white water rapids there are. This adventure will show you why they are rated so high. You will continue to take an easy walk along the boardwalk stopping at some areas that allow you to venture out onto a deck to get right up to the river and feel and hear its power. I can’t stress enough how great an experience this is and please don’t skip it when you visit the Falls. There is a small gift shop, prices seemed reasonable. Also make sure you ask for a parking pass for your dashboard so you don’t have to pay to park. There are about a dozen spots out front. There were some large lots across the street but I cannot say if it’s ok to park there as they may be private lots. Lastly there are some very informative plaques located as you get off the elevator and along the boardwalk. Take the time to read them and you’ll find out why the water is green and why a dog survived the rapids but his owner didn’t among other interesting facts.

Elevator ride down 70 meters to a tunnel and connecting boardwalk overlooking a large stretch of Whirlpool Rapids flowing by at a speed of 48 km/hr.Takes about an hour to walk alongside the rapids and enjoy an excellent view of the 410-million-year-old rock layers of the Niagara Gorge. The Boardwalk beside the rapids is 305 metres (1,000 feet or 1/4 mile) and stairs lead to two observation areas at the edge of the River.**Restrooms available near checkin counter**Plenty of Parking**WeGo Green South bound bus stops**Buy the Niagara attractions pass to save money**Vending machines available

Nestled in the heart of Niagara ,the White Water Walk offers a serene and captivating experience that seamlessly blends natural beauty with exceptional service. During my recent visit, I was entranced by the breathtaking views, impressed by the well-maintained facilities, and delighted by the impeccable service provided.

Asif Khan (Tupu) — Google review

This is part of our Niagara Fall Classic Pass but it's normally $17 per person to get in this attraction. We were greeted by staff joyfully, so that was nice and then we were directed to an elevator that leads lower to the water. This is a very nice self-guided walk and to see how fast and high the water goes here. There are some great photo spots and bench to just enjoy the water flowing.Overall, the park wasn't busy and lots of space to move, the walkthrough is also nice and sturdy. A MUST to see during your visit. Best to go here using the bus as there is no parking lots around

Dannica Franco — Google review

We did his walk with my 70-year old father and 10-year old son. My father does not have major mobility issues. The boardwalk only had one spot with stairs, but it's right at the end and only if you want to be a bit closer to the water at the last lookout. The walk is slanted down was you walk to the end, but it's a gentle slope. Most of the walk was shaded when we went (right at opening in the morning). We all enjoyed walking alongside the fast moving rapids. It was a great experience.

Ms. Melissa Balan — Google review

After seeing all the hype on Instagram we decided to go to this place after paying ~15-17 CAD per person. We thought that it would be long walk.Reality - The place and view is really nice but the walk is very short . Hardly 500-700 meters one way. I personally did not find it worth as compare to price charged. Plus this is in opposite direction from Niagara falls so if you are in car you need to pay parking charges.

Darshan Soni — Google review

An enjoyable walk along the class 6 rapids of the Niagara River. The elevated boardwalk is accessible by an elevator, though two viewing platforms are only accessible by stairs. The sound of the rushing water adds to the breathtaking views.

Matthew Biggar — Google review

Absolutely beautiful. The views are breathtaking. The river is unbelievably fast and powerful. The price is reasonable, the elevator is pretty quick, and the tunnel to the river is not too long. There is a snack cart at the base and 2 vending machines. There are a good number of photos and signs with historic facts, geography info, water details, etc. There is I formation on wildlife, fish, daredevils, and the train that used to go through the canyon.

shaya frankel — Google review

It is a great walk, very calming nature beauty. Parking is free if you are paying for attraction. Form the ticket window they will give a parking token. Elevator will take you down close to water walk. It is a great place to walk and sit by the river. There is no water fountain or anything so if you think you need water or snack than go prepared.

Alex Parmar — Google review

Visited 26/05/2023. This was quite spectacular to see the rushing river after it has fallen over the falls. It really shows you the strength of water en masse. The informational boards are interesting as well, with different stories of people throughout. Steps littered throughout the walkway so not suitable for wheelchair users along the length of the walk.

Onward TheyGo — Google review

Such a beautiful spot to stop for a visit! The rushing water and blue/green colour of the water is amazing. Definately worth seeing if you are in the area

Jacquie Wood — Google review

Visited a weekday beginning may, there was no line. It's a breathtaking and relaxing experience. Definitely a must when visiting niagra

Chava F — Google review

We came here at the end of October and got to see the fall colors🤩 This was included in our 2 day pass at Niagara Falls. The walk was beautiful and the river was mesmerizing. I found the information about the history of the river to be insightful.

Esther Y — Google review

First time at this attraction. Bought tickets in advance, but you are able to buy at the location as well. Our time was for 930a, we got there at 945a and they let us down. No line up, just had to wait for the elevator to come up and get us.Boardwalk was a little shorter than I thought it was gonna be, but the views of the river as you walk is great. Get to really see how strong the currents are.Attraction has multiple places for photoshoots with a larger one at the end with seating.Would recommend to have a short picnic and walk.

Roberto Martinez — Google review

This walk was AMAZING!! We bought tickets ahead of time and went on a Saturday at around 6 p.m. The lighting around this time was beautiful!! As most tourists were at the falls, the attraction wasn't too crowded. It has been there for a lot of years, but it is not well advertised. Definitely a must see "Hidden Gem"! The roar of the rapids was exhilarating, while the breathtaking views were a photographer's dream. I highly recommend going here at least once in your life! It is not dangerous and you won't get wet. :)

Lorna Shutter — Google review

The river is beautiful from this boardwalk. We almost skipped it thinking it wouldn't be much different than the other views. I'm glad we didn't! This might have been my favorite part of our trip! Both the river side and cliff side were stunning. The boardwalk itself is in excellent condition. Highly recommend!

Hamburg Gaming is a casino with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Visitors appreciate the affordable food and beverage prices, as well as the clean and safe environment. The no-smoking policy inside the casino is also a plus, with a designated area for smokers. Employees have had positive experiences working for Delaware North Corp at Hamburg Gaming, finding everyone to be welcoming and friendly. Additionally, one visitor shared their excitement about winning $60 more than they came in with after having an enjoyable time at the casino.

We unfortunately locked their keys in the car up on entering and did not notice until asked for I'ds , realizing I left my wallet in the car and returning to find also I locked my keys in it we had to call a wrecking company to retrieve my keys for me and gain access so I could get my wallet after that whole ordeal we immediately return to the casino and head over $1,100 on first pull first machine we went to and just had a great experience what an awesome casino great staff clean friendly and nice atmosphere great experience will recommend and and return

Baine Neveu — Google review

We enjoy going to this casino. It’s low key and not sensory overload with noise. The crowd is a more mature, relaxed crowd, with a good vibe. It’s easy to get to, the parking lots are safe and and easy to get in and out of. Service is quick and the slots are fair. The bar is right in the middle and easy to get to. We enjoy going there and blowing off some steam.

J C — Google review

It needs to be a little updated staff was friendly but they didn't have drinks excessible or easy to get to also. There wasn't many wait staff but A-OK casino.I do recommend this for my friends and I will be back. Oh yes You're also as a live band there which was a decent Band.

dj Flex — Google review

We always enjoy going to the Hamburg casino for a number of reasons. We find the staff very friendly and helpful the food and beverage prices are very affordable and it very clean and a safe place. The no smoking in the casino is also another benefit. They have a section for smokers along with different types of gaming machines so if you need to smoke you don't have to go outside.

David M — Google review

Usually I don't do reviews unless something was exceptional or something that really bothers me, but last night was an Exceptional Night at Hamburg Gaming. The fish fry was EXCELLENT, fresh, good portion, and well worth the $15. The country band was also Exceptional.

Bruce Mielcarek — Google review

All the way from Texas, and I have to say this place is ok. I never expect to win so I won't rate that. They have a ton of games but the 4 stars is because they don't have any $1 nine line slots.

Arthur Ware — Google review

Loved playing the slots. I actually won! I ordered some hot chicken wings. The worst Buffalo wings that I have ever had! They were soggy and some of the skin on the wings were chewy and felt like rubber. Also, the celery was soft and tasted like they were boiled and soggy.

Janice Dale — Google review

By far the worst casino I've ever been too. Small, boring machines, terrible promotions. I had a promotion for a rinky dink $20 free play and the machine printed the ticket incorrectly and I couldn't even use it! I called for service and finally after 30 minutes and $200 dollars later, I was told that the promotions desk was closed and they were the only folks who could reproduce the ticket! Money guzzling place and it's not even fun there..in fact it smells like urine inside. Don't waste a trip to this terrible casino.

Bella — Google review

This is a review for Indulge @ Hamburg Gaming. It is convenient when going to the casino. This is the only good thing I can say.Prices are ridiculous for the amount of food you get. I had the chicken sandwich, all roll very thin piece of chicken. To substitute for something other than fries, price is abit high.Very disappointed with this place. I will never again eat here.

Penelope Williams — Google review

Best place to go for a night out when you have nothing planned and want to have good food and a good experience! Some of the best video slot machines I’ve ever played! Definitely will be going back it was a 10 out of 10 experience plus if you sign up for the membership card, they give you free play as well as an optional dining experience coupon!

Nick Harpham — Google review

If you become easily addicted to something this is the place for you. I'm an alcoholic and loved coming to this place for a couple of drinks and betting away my daughters college fund that my grandfather left her. Good service juts make sure you leave some money in your car to get gas on the way home.

Jack Goff — Google review

Very nice establishment the people are friendly and the food is good but it can be very painful to loose your money they also have live bands sometimes and sports to watch. You can even play lottery! So you can enjoy all of these benefits at the same time and if your lucky enough you can win good luck!

marquetta betts — Google review

Well kept casino and pleasant people working there. Payouts are as good as Batavia Downs. Both casinos have free self serve coffee and soft drinks. Has a decent fish fry. The Strangers band played Friday and rocked the house. Huge amount of the better/newer video slots. No card tables. Only open till 4 am.

Don Sickau — Google review

Very clean, staff are extremely friendly. Great chicken wings at the small restaurant and Cyclone Bar has great drinks, especially their Long Island Ice Teas. I wish the ratio of free play received was higher than it is as you have to spend/lose/play a lot in order to get a decent amount but other than that I really enjoy Hamburg Casino.

Only Me — Google review

I left a winner this evening.... Not a million bucks or anything like that. But I did leave with about $60.00 more than I went in with....

Stephen Szymura — Google review

I just started working part time at Hamburg Gaming for the Delaware North Corp. So far, my experience with Delaware North and everyone at Hamburg Gaming has been fantastic.During my interview and on boarding, Toni (in HR) and Chef Brian were extremely welcoming. I was worried that they would not be as positive/understanding and friendly once I was actually hired. But, those worries proved to be unfounded.Everyone that I have interacted with so far has been extremely friendly and helpful. I look forward to working with the Hamburg Gaming staff for foreseeable future.

what a FUN night with family and friends. came to Buffalo from Florida to visit and spent an evening at Hamburg Gaming. super fun, friendly staff and sooooo many games to choose from. really clean and very well organized. must go !!

Very enjoyable time! Had drinks and food at the bar while playing video poker! The wings were amazing and the best I've had in a long time! Good time all around!

Tammy Casper — Google review

I can't believe the young red head lady at indulge!!! I spend thousands in this place every single week I didn't become a diamond member in a month for no reason!! She was so nasty and rude to me ... And when I asked her a question she said to me so rude that the line is over here which by the way there was no line .. then she cut me off and took the person that walked up behind me but closer to the side she pointed too ... How dare you. I stood there patiently waiting for the supervisor but they were extremely busy so I just left !! On top of this .. the same employee was definitely high on something her mouth was twitching and eyes and she was very jumpy.. I have seen her before and she wasn't like this so I know that she was clearly on something!! Ridiculous to let her even work today that's how obvious it was that she was under the influence of something!! I was so disgusted with the whole situation!! As a diamond member I should have never had to experience the treatment of such kind ... Well as any member!! However I take it very personal considering I have only been coming since October of 2023 and I was a diamond in less then a month!! Not sure if I will be returning!!

Real Gemini — Google review

Not a big gambler, went there to try out the Indulge restaurant. Food was excellent, very generous portions, in fact personally I would have preferred a smaller portion and decreased price. Had the meatloaf poutine and took it home for two more meals. Reuben was also excellent.

Joanne Pyszczek — Google review

Very welcoming, very knowledgeable staff, very friendly staff. Casino is very clean and fresh. Would definitely recommend to everyone to come to play here you won't be disappointed!

Barbara Winkowski — Google review

The casino was clean and spacious. There were complimentary drinks (coffee, tea and pop) . A waitress took my friends' alcoholic drink orders and brought them their drinks at the machines. We played mainly Penny slots. My friends smoked so we ducked into the smoking room, it was packed and cramped, we didn't stay there long. All the employees were encountered were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. We had a good time. They won, I lost. (Boo, lol) I'd go back again.

Patti Tirpak — Google review

First time visiting after looking for something indoors. Very clean and very friendly staff. They were helpful and made you feel welcome. Even being busy and having some difficult customers, the staff kept calm, smiling and weren't stressed. The complimentary beverages are nice and having a tim hortons was a bonus as well! Will try the food next time I go as they weren't opened quit yet when I went!

The Butterfly Conservatory is a must-see tourist attraction in Niagara Parks that houses over 2,000 tropical butterflies. The conservatory features a beautiful rainforest setting and allows visitors to explore the paths and walks around the different areas of the conservatory.

The conservatory is beautiful. The butterflies are active. Getting to see so many different species is wonderful. The scavenger hunt for them is sweet. I’d love if the finding all of them meant the child earned a small souvenir. It was VERY crowded when we were there. Most people were masked, but some were not. Overall it was a beautiful place and the staff were helpful and polite. Worth the ticket price for sure.

Mary Martin — Google review

We came a bit late and were only able to spend an hour or so at the conservatory. No group discounts. The place was very hot and humid. The butterflies were awesome and we got a bunch of cool pictures. I'll post some here. The staff was reasonably polite. It was an overall great experience. I've found a place of Zen here with butterflies.I would recommend this place for everyone to experience :)

1st timer, What a magical place to visit! Check in was fairly simple we had passes. Ms Debbie was the sweetest! I love butterflies but never thought to even visit a place full of them. The introduction video was so well needed and educational and I loved that!Entering the exhibit is overwhelming in the best way!!! Omg I can picture myself there all over again. They have created such a beautiful haven for these butterflies to live their lives. Fresh air, fresh plants and water. So many different species and so many butterflies!!! A few actually landed on me which made my heart smile. This is a place you have to experience, Well worth this visit!! 100000/10 highly recommend.Thank you Butterfly conservatory for this memorable experience, I hope to see you again.

Canice G — Google review

Lovely place. Lots of butterflies and the trees, plants, and water features were well cared for. The gift shop is typically overpriced. I hope they restrict the number of persons allowed in at a time, as it's fairly small and could very easily be overcrowded. We were there in March on a weekday, and there were lots of people there, but not overcrowded. The drive along the river is a bonus.

M B — Google review

After experiencing the mighty power of the Falls, this is a very peaceful place to unwind. There are hundreds of beautiful butterflies 🦋 flying around here in a beautiful tropical paradise. It is quite warm and humid here so it creates quite the juxtaposition from outside in the Winter or even early Spring. It is great that you can take as much time here as you like. Kids love running around here trying to figure out creative ways to attract butterflies to land on them with varying degrees of success. The hatchery area is fascinating with so many butterflies at different stages of development. There are always staff members there to answer questions too.

John William Wade — Google review

This was a lovely relaxing experience. The butterflies were beautiful and active. Many landing on visitors which made for lovely photos. We had a wonderful time from beginning to end of our visit. Staff are lovely and helpful. We especially enjoyed the lovely gardens with it's beautiful plots of roses and Horticulture Lecture Hall. Definitely worth the visit for a bit of fresh air and to enjoy the lovely summer day. ☀️

Tammy Crowley (Silena) — Google review

It’s a exquisitely peaceful place. You will enter into a paradise, where you feel like seeing different colourful beautiful souls of butterflies flying around you. On other side of a coin, it’s sadly we are seeing these beautiful souls in the conservative house instead in nature. This is due to man made destruction to the nature like pollution, deforestation and radiation. You can see some other gardens around like rose garden and some plants with medical values. Overall very good place to visit.

An amazing experience and activity for all ages. Closer to the end of summer it is not that humid inside and easy to enjoy the butterflies. Wait time on weekdays is close to none and isn’t so busy. Ticket prices $20 CAD which is decent given it’s in a tourist area. Kids will definitely enjoy all the butterflies, a beautiful scene to witness. Staff is there to answer any questions. Butterflies may land on you (which is awesome) or if you put your hand out they might come to your hand. You can easily spend 30-45 minutes here. There is a small section where you will see eggs and see butterflies hatch. There are benches to sit if you get tired or just want to sit and enjoy the sight.

Raza Dard — Google review

This is a must visit attraction at Niagara falls. We got our pass for 2 days and this attraction also included. Happy we didn't miss this. Easy transport by bus. Friendly and educated staff. Summer like temperature with 100s of butterflies. Make sure to watch the welcome video before visiting. You can watch how butterfly get feeding. And some may stick with you for sometime. And the life circle of the butterfly. We visit during winter and this is year around attraction.Easy parking nearby. And a nice small Gift shop also inside.

Steve Asiri Jayatilake — Google review

It's a beautiful place! Super warm in there so dress in layers if you're coming in the winter as the parking lot is a walk from the doors. It's a bit pricy considering how fast you go through it. Probably would spend more time in there if it weren't for having to wear a mask in such a hot room, but we do love it there.

Shyanne Trudel — Google review

Amazing place with countless number of beautiful butterflies. Wonderful place for people of all ages. There is a gift shop which contacts lot of amazing gifts or things which you can keep to memorize your trip.

Jose Cyriac — Google review

A fantastic experience for all ages. Anyone interested in either botany (study of plants )or entomology( the study of insects) will thoroughly enjoy this establishment. Tons of tropical plants in a naturalistic setting and a multitude of butterfly species to behold as well. Everyone should visit this place at least once. A nice variety of items available in their gift shop to remember you visit with. People friendly, hard working and knowledgeable staff members. There was plenty of parking available as well. Bathrooms available for public use. Even the grounds outside were nice landscaped and maintained. Extremely impressed by my visit.

Sean Corbett — Google review

Great experience for butterfly lovers. There is an information video room at the start that helps with info of what happens there and how to carefully handle the butterflies and more. Short but it's definitely good to watch.Saw lots of kids that were not enjoying it at all. Afraid of the butterflies or trying to hurt them. Be sure your kid is old enough to be safe visiting this space.Nearby parking lot was 5$/hr. We took our time both in the butterfly area and gift store and were still out in a little over an hour and a half. Though if I didn't have other things to do i probably could have sat on one of the benches for much longer than i did. To help get an idea of how long you might need.

Amber Barnes (PrincessB) — Google review

It was absolutely fabulous. I would have liked a little briefing of the rules as I've experienced in other butterfly gardens like:Don't touch the butterflies, especially their wingsTry to watch your step as butterflies land on the ground occasionallyAnd try not to rustle the plants too muchIt was a little crowded and if you don't like many children around, I'd go during the week. However, super glad we went and we did have a wonderful time.

Sheri Rocco — Google review

Really neat place with a unique experience having butterflies land on you. Gets very crowded but you can do it over and over again. Been here many times and will come back again. I am tired of Niagara Parks sucking every dollar out of people with parking. One parking pass should cover all Niagara parks for the day. I Spent $50 just parking.

Travis Carpenter — Google review

Great place to go and just relax. So many different butterfly species to observe and interact with. Also, if you are lucky the butterflies will land on you.Try to go earlier in the day when it is less busy because it can be very crowded on the relatively small pathways inside the dome.

Anupam Nath — Google review

My 9-yr old said this was the first butterfly garden we’ve visited that wasn’t disappointing. High praise, haha! Such a beautiful collection of butterflies in enormous quantity. We need to come back later in the season when the spring blooms around the property.

We love butterflies and this place was great! It had about 12 different varieties, but it seemed like so much more. Tons of butterfly every where. Nice water feature , beautiful plants and flowers . The little one had a great time looking for different butterflies. It was clean. The only turn off was an employee at the candy shop . He was not welcoming , very rude !! No customer service whatsoever.

My recent visit to the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara, Canada, was enchanting! Witnessing 2000 butterflies in one place was simply breathtaking. The mesmerizing garden captivated all ages, especially the kids. It's a must-visit attraction for a unique and unforgettable experience. One visit here leaves a lasting impression of natural beauty and wonder.

This is a wonderful place to visit with the whole family. There is a welcome video that's very informative and sets the stage for understanding the life cycle of butterflies. Then you enter the beautiful greenhouse filled with colourful plants and an amazing number of butterflies! They are everywhere! We enjoyed seeing the many different types, we were told there were 40 varieties of butterflies there, and we certainly saw many different colours, sizes, and wing shapes. Kids were really amazed and excited. Butterflies flit about everywhere, some landed on our shoulders and heads, and some would sit on the palm of your hand. (If you are afraid of flying butterflies, you will not like this because you cannot avoid them.)Recommend leaving your stroller and any bulky backpacks or heavy jackets in the free (unsecured) coat check or in your vehicle. Parking was $8 per hour or $30 per day. Greenhouse is very warm, paths are quite narrow, and there are stairs, but also ramps. We went at opening on a Saturday in March and enjoyed everything in about 2 hours, by the time we were leaving it was becoming very crowded. You will exit through the gift shop, which is really quite big and has a great selection of books, decor, art, sunglasses, jewellery, keychains, t-shirts, etc., as souvenirs. The souvenir photo they offer costs $30. You can also buy drinks and snacks. Washrooms and water fountain on site. The outdoor surrounding area is a huge park of trails and gardens.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff! I had a blast here and look forward to many more visits.Plenty of parking and it was nice to have a spot to hang your coat since it's 26c/80f in the butterfly area!I went early and didn't have to wait but it did start filling up quick. Be sure to watch your step while walking around!

This was such a fun experience for my daughter. While at first I thought it was a little bit expensive, they didn’t put a cap on the time we could stay. And the staff were super helpful and abundant. They even opened up the nearly hatched butterfly area for my daughter. It was really a magical place!Ticket purchases was made super quick and easy and parking was a 2 minute walk away and abundant.

Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park is a museum that displays three naval vessels, tanks, and jets. It is located close to downtown Canalside in Buffalo, New York.

Largest inland Naval park of united states, all four Naval Vessels will attract any travelers around the world. It’s location is really amazing around the Buffalo Waterfront in Erie Canal, theres lot of restaurants nearby and seasonal markets also. This park is highly recommended for its uniqueness.

A true experience of what war used to look like on the open ocean. The ships were beautifully maintained, unfortunately the Sullivan's were under maintenance on my visit. The tour took about 2 hours, lots to read and to take in.Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.Lots of free parking and just over the border from Canada, very easily accessed.

S P — Google review

Great place to visit old naval ships/submarine. Very interesting to hear about the history of the ships and wars. Highly recommend! You will have to climb ladders and be comfortable with small spaces.

Theresa Lysek — Google review

Very pleasant and uncrowded around 7-8am. So peaceful to walk and take photos, we got the park almost all to ourselves. Great for just visiting or to get a good tour before museums are open for you.

We went with a Boyscout troop for an overnight stay and it was a great time! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is ushered in by the huuuuge steel structures that surround you. Thank you to all the men and women who have laid down your lives in service to my country so I can be free!

Have love this place since a kid. Sad to see the Uss Sullivan sinking but I can't wait to go on them again. Best wishes one of my favorite places to go Buffalo proud

Michael Houck — Google review

Great stop for those who wish to see a naval warship up close and personal. The facility has a small museum that has the history of the vessels on display as wall as US Navy maritime history.Plan on spending a full day at the park to explore all the ships thoroughly. The Sullivan's and Corker will not take to much time but the Little Rock is BIG. Depending on the age of the kids, the fun items were the bunks and the items they could touch. The history of the ships and the different information stations could be dull for them.

Adam Cook — Google review

Great collection of historic ships and the onboard displays are first rate. Volunteer staff were informative and engaging.

A Nabs — Google review

This was an excellent collection of ships! It's worth the few hours it will take to look at everything. The history and awesomeness that are these ships is amazing. The Fletcher class of DDs is a sight to see. The Gato class of sub is beautiful even with the modified nose as she got upgraded. The last remaining Cleveland class cruiser was wonderful even though she's not in her original configuration with guns. It was amazing learning so much about these ships and talking with the volunteers.

J Delbs — Google review

What an amazing park and memorial! From the memorials spanning over a hundred years, to the naval ships available to tour, the entire experience was fantastic. The park is very well maintained and filled with folks willing to answer your questions. I went in early summer and it was fantastic weather.

Lots of things to do. There were food trucks, restaurants, ice cream, many different boat tours and cool things from history to check out! Beautiful views as well.

Brynna Malen — Google review

Very nice place. It is good for a walk, enjoying the adorable smell of the flowers, and the display of two naval ships , submarine and two old war aircraft. You can visit the ship but you need to purchase a ticket.

Hazar Hallaje — Google review

This place was awesome to visit. We didn’t realized that that the two larger ships are both 1 in a few. We did a self guided tour and it was educational and pretty well thought out. We will definitely be back and will be doing the tour with a tour guide.

Hannah Woodruff — Google review

Way more things to see than what I expected. The park is like a maze. Good place to see how Americans write the history.

X L — Google review

Awesome place to visit. It’s worth going just to see the different kinds of ships. We didn’t make it in time but you can do a tour on one of them. Other than that it’s a nice walk. They did have some food nearby. It was easy to find parking nearby.

Nicholas P — Google review

The curator tour was an excellent experience, well worth the cost, and also could take you into spaces that would ordinarily be locked. Shane description of what went on in each space and how the ships have evolved over their lifetimes adds several layers to what you see, that really helps understand what you're looking at.

Scot Blair — Google review

military park with the Hispanic, African-American, Korea, WWII, Vietnam, Iran, Iraq, Afganistan Veterans monuments along side the Sullivans naval park. There is a plaque wall honoring all servicemembers next to Canalside waterfront and the Carosel

Rob Cooke — Google review

Wow what a wonderful and fun adventure this was, the docents were so friendly, personable, and funny. During the tour you get a real feel for how the sailors had to live and fight on these vessels. Absolutely recommended for any one to enjoy but beware it is very very intriguing!

Don Kink — Google review

Very cool to visit these 2 ships and submarine. Parking can be a little challenging near by. It’s paid street parking but the box was not working so I had to get the app and the Buffalo parking app requires a $10 deposit. Very annoying for a short visit. Wish there was a specific lot for the attraction

Modern art museum

The Albright-Knox Art Gallery is a 1905 Greek Revival building that houses contemporary and modern art. The addition designed by Gordon Bunshaft in 1962 is sleek and modernist, contrasting well with the original building.

This is a world class art museum. Filled with works from famous artists through history, to today. Have visited many times and it's always a joy to see my old faves and the new exhibits that are regularly passing through. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Security is rarely noticeable and do not impact your viewing experience. The restaurant is spot on. Great food, drinks, and desserts.

Chris Wright — Google review

This is an amazing art museum. The encyclopedic collection is beauty presented and thoughtfully curated.I especially enjoyed the new addition. The spaces are expansive, thoughtfully contemporary, and wonderfully lit.The gift shop associates are welcoming and the gallery attendants very helpful. Overall guest experience here is top notch 👍.Go for the stroll through the new wing... stay and get lost in a Rothko or people watch in the airy sculpture court.

Kel Millionie — Google review

It's one of the must visit museum if you are into modern arts. Few of the artifacts are mesmerizing especially the morgenthau plan painting. I attended the museum when they were having $5 for the family. They have it one day Every month what a lucky day to be there. The tour was informative it's amazing to know the stories behind the art.

Harsh Shetye — Google review

Beautifully redone museum. The brand new wing was delayed in opening but the refurbished section and new entrance show the time and effort put into the project. A must see and n Buffalo. Make sure to schedule enough time to enjoy the wonderful collection.

Steven Schwartz — Google review

Great museum with friendly staff! While I was disappointed that the works by Nam June Paik and Tony Conrad were not on display, the rest of the museum was fantastic. Organized very nicely and the staff seem to actually know what they're talking about and care to be there, whereas in other museums I've found the staff unhelpful and miserable. Very welcoming. There's a nice LEGO installation for children as well, if you are bringing any.

James Clontz — Google review

Very nice art museum with a great inventory. Many pieces of art from both renowned artists and artists I never heard of before. Unfortunately as of this review, the new building that they had been working on for years was not open. It will be opened towards the end of July from what I could gather. They gave us free entrance passes to return when the new building opens.I am happy I got to finally visit this museum as it had been closed for my entire time in Buffalo. Would gladly return and would recommend to others.

Caleb — Google review

Great experience, the place is very modern and the technology that they have used inside the building is also amazing. The items present in the museum are minimal but the infrastructure and the design gorgeous. Took some great pictures and loved the art in there.

Afifa Zaheer — Google review

The AKG has always been a 5 star art museum. It’s been over 20 plus years since I last visited, the new addition is gorgeous. Really blends seamlessly with the old and new. We didn’t have time for a full tour, but we were thrilled to learn that the atrium has no entrance fee and now includes the famed Mirrored Room”. This interactive piece has always been a crowd pleaser and it’s so great that so many more can now experience it. And it’s great they are ensuring it’s preservation as well. Believe me, it’s 1 min of wild fun. The outside grounds are great for a stroll and in a beautiful setting.

Elizabeth Kirwan — Google review

An eclectic mix of mostly modern art pieces. It is a bit smaller than some of the other comparable cities like Cleveland or Detroit, but what it lacks in size it adds in value. Personally, I love contemporary art and this place had a lot of that.It has a very beautiful addition to it that respects the classic architecture while creating a new and exciting building to house more gallery space.

Nate J. Lull — Google review

Such a beautiful museum. Very interesting pieces of art. The day I went I didn't know it was their annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The admission was pay what you choose. They sang carols and we sang along and it was actually really fun. The rows of the auditorium sang a line of 12 Days of Christmas, one line per row and I liked that it was interactive. There is artwork outside the museum as well. As a Buffalo State College student you can get discounts to the museum.

Monifa Tyson — Google review

It was super fun and the art was incredible! loved it. they have a very formal cafe that's a bit expensive but the food was great. The gift shop was super cute and had a ton of little gadgets that were affordable, although some were also a bit expensive.

The remodel is absolutely phenomenal. I am so in love with the new space. Mom and I attended during the opening week on a Friday. Wear comfy shoes, but the elevators are a welcomed addition. AKG has an excellent set of exhibitions, including works by African amercia and Native american artists and work by artists produced during the pandemic. I was thoroughly happy to see they have Clyfford Still back on display too. We didn't get over to the old Knox building, but I can't wait to go back. I could write a novella on the design features that I love, but you must simply see for yourself.

This is a great representation of what is to the world! The beauty in different aspects between arts and generations with different materials is well represented in this location. I recommend it to each and every person that comes and visit the city of Buffalo. It’s definitely wheelchair assessable and very accommodating to any persons need.

Great art museum with pieces from many famous names. Fair prices. Can spend a couple hours here wandering around. Lots of green space around the museum, makes for a great stroll.

Jamila — Google review

It's been 10 years since my last visit which is far too long. But I was watching the construction and when I heard they completed the new addition I had to visit. First the building itself old and new is art, the architecture is always a combination of ancient rome meets modern day technologies. Let's start with the cafe with fresh made pastries that my boys absolutely loved. Onto the youth exhibit with the Lego room which was very interactive and got imaginations working. Then the mirror exhibit unfortunately leaving in January which left everyone with smiles and a great video. Onto the new addition which features 3 full floors of displays capped by a large piece that wraps around the basem*nts exit into the parking garage. I believe our visit lasted a total of 3 hours and the impact to keep a 5 year old and 8 year old engaged was a highlight. But no talked about enough was the absolutely fantastic staff. Everyone was not only friendly but knowledgeable and that placed the experience over the top. I was proud to see the improvements and after seeing the new vision I have to say this is a must go. I'm planning a fall trip just to see how the lights during the season change interact with the building and another trip after a heavy snow fall in winter. The way the architecture melds with the art and how it dances with the light is stunning. This was a treat.

The Buffalo AKG is a cool museum that has an impressive collection of art. The AKG has a wonderful layout and unique architecture. The building housing the older galleries were built in the early 1900’s and feature neoclassical designs. The buildings housing the newest galleries were completed in 2023 and feature modern looks. The museum is on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum has over 6,000 pieces that can be displayed. A sampling of many artistic styles can be seen throughout the museum. Great artists such as Van Gogh, Gaugin, Renoir, Homer, Pollack, Warhol, and Picasso have paintings featured here. A great collection of sculptures can be seen throughout the museum. Galleries are spacious and you can move at your own pace. The museum does offer tours throughout the day. Staff at the museum was friendly and helpful. Tickets for the museum can be purchased online. It is also easy to buy them in the museum. The museum has a parking garage which is easy to get in and out of. The AKG is on the edge of Delaware Park and if the day is good, try to take in the park as part of your visit. There is so much to enjoy at the AKG!

Ryan Mazierski — Google review

I was absolutely impressed and delighted during our last week's visit there. Beautiful blend of older and modern architecture, impressive collection of art, professional, very friendly staff, a very well-kept and maintained art gallery, and I can go on and on. We took the 11am complimentary tour offered, and we were privileged to have a "private" tour by the Docent Barbara (we were the only 2 people having the tour that day and that time of the day:). I highly recommend having a tour, and when you have a great docent like we had, it is even better. Thank you, Barbara! This was my first visit at AKG, but not the last. There are so many things to see, not too far from home, even if it is across the border.

A great art museum here in the city of Buffalo. Love the new expansion they have, especially the featured collection of all the art that was purchased or gifted while the museum was closed for renovation/the pandemic.

Daviyion Johnson — Google review

I loved the Albright Knox before the expansion, so i couldn't wait until they reopened again. It was worth the wait, i can't believe it took me almost 6 months to visit it. Besides all the art, the new buildings and sculptures are a must see.! They have programs for adults and children ( like art classes and events). There's a restaurant in the main building, but also a wine bar upstairs in a new building with live music that you can just sit and enjoy.I love the fact that they've brought back m&t 1st Fridays, when the admission is free or pay what you want. It took me a while to find steet parking, i completely forgot about their underground parking lot.

Lyudmila Kennedy — Google review

Fun for all ages! Great local art museum is easily accessible and parking is free on the street across Delaware Park. They also have garage parking and will validate your parking. Depending on how much you love art , expect to spend about 1.5 hrs-3hrs here. There are two cafes inside for tea and crumpets and sandwiches if staring at art makes your stomach growl in a very quiet room.😊

Amazing spaces, docent tours and art exhibits!! Well worth your time to visit. Check out the Julia Bottoms exhibit and look up red lining. You will be amazed at the depth of this artist.

Absolutely in love with the AKG! The architecture is stunning and love the layout/flow of the galleries. The staff were truly spectacular. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. My son asked about work by Mondrian and Picasso and the staff at reception marked the pieces on the map with ease. Amazed by how many paintings by the Greats -- quite a collection and of renaissance, contemporary, impressionists and sculptures. Parking underground was a breeze. Wonderful morning -- time well-spent!

Each photograph tells a story, capturing the essence of its subject with remarkable clarity and depth.Overall, my experience at the Buffalo AKG Museum was nothing short of exceptional. Cemetery

Sights & Landmarks

Forest Lawn is a prestigious cemetery in Buffalo, New York. It is home to many famous graves, including that of President Millard Fillmore. The cemetery has beautiful landscaping and makes for an interesting attraction for all visitors.

Forest Lawn Cemetery, located in Buffalo, New York, is not only a place of rest for the deceased but also a significant historical and cultural landmark. Established in 1849, it spans over 269 acres, making it one of the largest cemeteries in the United States. Forest Lawn is known for its beautiful landscaping, impressive sculptures, and notable monuments, embodying the rural cemetery movement of the 19th century which sought to create cemetery parks that were as much about the living as they were about memorializing the dead. The cemetery was designed with the idea of creating a peaceful and scenic environment, moving away from the earlier, more crowded churchyard burial grounds. This concept was part of a broader movement that influenced the creation of public parks and green spaces across America. The layout of Forest Lawn includes winding paths, gentle hills, serene lakes, and a diverse collection of trees and plants, designed to reflect a natural, park-like setting.Over the years, Forest Lawn has become the final resting place for many prominent individuals, including U.S. Presidents, inventors, artists, and business leaders. This has made it not only a place of historical interest but also a site of pilgrimage for those wishing to pay their respects to these notable figures. Among its famous residents are President Millard Fillmore, singer Rick James, and inventor Lawrence Dale Bell, founder of Bell Aircraft Corporation.Forest Lawn is also known for its commitment to education and community engagement. It offers a variety of tours, events, and educational programs that highlight the cemetery's rich history, art, and architecture. These activities provide insights into the lives of the individuals buried there, as well as the cultural and historical contexts in which they lived. The cemetery has evolved over the years, adding new sections and embracing modern memorial practices, yet it remains committed to preserving its historical legacy and natural beauty. Forest Lawn continues to serve as a vital part of Buffalo's heritage, offering a unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty to residents and visitors alike.

Recently we buried my mothers ashes at Forest Lawn. We had a Catholic mass two months earlier and we were waiting for better weather. Unfortunately the day we buried her ashes was cold and wet. We had a small service in one of their beautiful chapels. One of their employees , who use to be in the religious order gave a wonderful heartfelt talk about my mother, death and the process of dying. It moved me to tears. Forest Lawn is not only beautiful, the people who work there are compassionate, professional and quick to respond to needs. I would highly recommend their services when someone is faced with the death of a loved one.

I lived across the street from here and this place is just serene and peaceful. The graves are works of art and the history is amazing. Class trips should be mandatory in this place because there are just so many historical people in it, many of whose names bypassed the books. The dead do talk to us if you listen closely enough

Our group made a reservation for a trolley tour. It's well worth it. Not only are the grounds beautiful, but the guide was extremely knowledgeable.

Great place to go for some peace and quiet. Also, a great place for bird watching and photography. Little annoyed that the bathrooms are still closed. Have been since around covid. Signs on the door state that something terrible and disgusting happened and that's why they're closed. I don't know what happened but it sure would be nice to go there (3 years later) and spend some time knowing that I can use the facilities if I have to.

Deborah Ritch Photography — Google review

There were no bathrooms. Was told to go out on Delaware ave in a neighborhood we were not familiar with and look for a bathroom. Would be pretty nerve racking for a tourist not knowing where to go. Was planning on spending the day there but had to leave. Visitors center was locked and didn’t feel very inviting. Not recommended for seniors or veterans or handicapped with urinary issues. No place to dispose of garbage and women at visitor center just gave us a map did not show interest in what we came for and willing to help us with directions

We decided to go here since we had a few hours to kill before our flight out if Buffalo. It was worth it. This cemetery is over 200 acres and has a lot of history. Rick James is buried here...but more important historical figures are as well. The monuments are so huge, varied and beautiful. Don't miss the big memorial that has the mother, the father looking down on their son...all marble figures in glass and concrete.

Forest Lawn Cemetery is located in the heart of Buffalo and although in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, you can't help but feel in the country and at peace when on its grounds. The entire cemetery is well landscaped over rolling hills and scattered with lakes, ponds and a stream. The old time arcticecture and stones is something you just don't find anymore bringing you back in time. When it's time to start looking for a site, you will not find a more professional, caring team then the one at this cemetery. They are extremely fast at getting back to all questions and concerns and work around your schedule as much as possible. When finally meeting in person, they all sit down and listen to your needs and wants. They take you through the grounds and mark specific grave sites that are available. Upon completion, you go back to the main office where you will discuss further options, from payment, to stone types allowed all the way down to how many caskets/urns can be buried in a single plot. At no time do they pressure you and give you as much time as you need to make your decision for your loved ones or yourself. All financing is done in house and can be either paid up front in one single time where you will get 30% off the plot site or over a period of time with 10% down. When looking for a final resting place, look no further then the grounds of Forest Lawn Cemetery.

OMG! In the heart of Buffalo, an amazing place not to be missed! Many old famous Graves, beautiful, wonderful wildlife , peaceful, relaxing, heartwarming, not to mention the best place to be buried in. Several of my family members are buried there and someday I will be there too. I have taken my granddaughter there many times and she always happy as we see a lot of Wildlife and she enjoys learning about the rich history !

I normally visit cemeteries that are much older than this but this is, by far, the most beautiful. Take a tour. Grab a map from the office and visit the graves of many Buffalo celebrities. Great for walking.

Lovely cemetery! It’s well taken care of. It’s nice to know your loved ones are being cared for even in their after life. There is so much history in this gorgeous piece of land.

I'm standing on a bridge within the cemetery. Looking backwards and looking forward. I know there's a metaphor here, somewhere. The snow ❄️ is steadily coming down and it's cold. I know a lot of people buried here and each time I pay respects, during the grief - I feel it in my heart, reminded of the love that people shared.I'm going to share 3 quotes on death. Years ago, I met the Chilean 🇨🇱 American writer, Isabel Allendé at Klienhans. She said, " Just as when we come into the world, when we die, we are afraid of the unknown. But the fear is something from within us that has nothing to do with reality. Dying is like being born. Just a change"."Death smiles at us all, all a man can do is smile back", Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius. And best for last, "...If a man hasn't discovered something that he will die for - he isn't for to live...', Dr Martin Luther King Jr.Have a safe day folks.......

The grandparent seasons pass is just wonderful. There is nothing better than spending time with your grandkids at the zoo. We actually have a season pass to explore and more, the science museum, and the zoo. Zoo. Often we will spend the morning at Explore and More or the Science Museum and then visit the Buffalo Zoo in the afternoon. Great times and you can make it as educational as you want. This is a nice little zoo! Many animals to be seen with the most unique being the two polar bears! Easy to get around and see everything in about 2-3 hours. Most animals were outside. Some animals were exhibited inside. The rainforest exhibit was perhaps the best of the indoor exhibits. With all the good things the zoo has going for it, it does need some updating. The zoo's elephant house, houses a rhino? Some of the spaces provided for the animals should also be much larger. The zoo is right near Delaware park, I think it should be expanded a little so the animals could have more room. Some of the zoo's buildings were built in the 30's and could be renovated to boost their appearance.Parking was easy and fairly reasonable. Gift shop was well stocked. Staff was helpful and friendly.

First time at this zoo and I will most definitely be returning again. It had a nice variety of animals, including tigers, lions, giraffes, a polar bear, meerkats, and rhinos. Zoos I have visited before usually don’t have an employee there educating you on some facts about their animals. So it was a nice surprise when there would be a zookeeper there talking about the animals and some even had carts with casts of the animals’ skulls and fur so you could touch and feel them.We went on a Saturday and while it took a bit to buy the tickets (so would recommend to buy them ahead of time) the rest of our visit wasn’t too crowded. We were able to get a good view on all the animals.Would also like to add that the bathrooms were clean. There seemed to be one in every corner so that was awesome with my 4 yo. Love how there were family restrooms as well.Got a black bean, mushroom and Swiss veggie burger from the food court. 10/10.Overall great experience.

**If my review is helpful, please click on the "LIKE" button...thank you!**Small zoo in Buffalo, good for a half-day visit. I'm always torn about seeing animals in captivity, but it was a good opportunity to speak to the kids about preservation. The zoo has the usual slightly over priced restaurant and gift store. 😏 Also has periodic shows throughout the day, so check the website for times before you visit. We went on a Sunday, and parking was plentiful, and we only waited a couple of minutes to get in.Overall, a pleasant experience...

So much fun at the Zoo Imagination experience. On Saturdays the cost is $19.95 for adults. Lots of interactive art displays, incredible colors, as well as education to go with the art. There is a beer tent, snacks and gifts. Most animals are not out but we did see a sleeping polar bear, eagles and a mountain goat.....

My family and I went to the Buffalo Zoo on a Monday and it was fairly quiet (It was a nice sunny/cool day) but I don't think it was fully open for the season yet. No lineup to get in since it was a Monday. Some exhibits and food/snacks stations weren't open. We weren't able to feed the goats sadly. My 11 y.o. daughter enjoyed seeing all the mammals, birds, reptiles and insects.

Trang Tran — Google review

This was the first time we have come here and it was perfect. We had 3 under 8 kids with us and it was exactly big enough to see everything and not miss out. Lots of different animals and the way information was presented was easy to understand and engaging.

Kyra Moate — Google review

This zoo is alright. We came on Christmas Eve, and it was basically a ghost zoo. Some animals like the rhino and elephants were not out because it was too cold. The polar bear was definitely not doing so well.... Waking around in circles and swinging its head... Signs of mental issues and boredom. Same goes with the tigers. The reptiles and amphibians were the coolest part.

Wesley Yu — Google review

Very nice zoo! We traveled here from Texas and really enjoyed the different animals than what we have in our zoo! Seeing a Polar bear was super cool! Several animals we have seen before, but the exhibits are easy to get through and we're very clean.

Heather Johnson — Google review

we love the zoo!!! there’s always enough entertainment between all of the exciting exhibits and events at the zoo that we are happy to come back! the zoo is an important educational institution for the city and it’s critical that the public , especially children , are still afforded the opportunity to go to places like this! it’s hard not to spend the rest of your day once you’re there!! Love love love the zoo !

Cat in the Hash — Google review

This 3rd oldest zoo is small, but full of animals too are and learn about. Don't forget to enjoy keeper talks and the Avian Odyssey!I'd love to see the zoo get more space but I don't think that will happen. You can bring your own snacks too!

Sue P — Google review

I'm editing my review from 4 stars to 5. What's the difference? Well I'm now a mom to a 5 year old and really appreciate the size of this zoo and the exhibits they bring in annually. Great size for small kids (takes 3 hours max), love the animals (polar bear, giraffe, big cats!), and just an easy day. Easy to find, easy to park, just effortless compared to larger places like the Toronto Zoo. The kids who work throughout were knowledgeable and great too. What a fun day.

Melissa Macdonald — Google review

This is a small zoo and I took my sweet time going through it. In all it took me a leisurely 2.5 hrs. I didn't eat or have children with me. The komodo dragon exhibit was down for maintenance and in all the animals looked sad and unengaged in their habitats which message me a little sad. 21-25$ to enter. Parking costs up to 12dollars for more than 2 hrs-debit/credit only for parking! There is also a souvenir/gift shop.

Hope Rice — Google review

Very small zoo that makes fairly good use of its space, although there are some central open portions that could have been used to increase some exhibit sizes. Scenery was lacking in comparison to other larger zoos, but for the size and younger target audience, the zoo is acceptable.

Kendall Roth — Google review

Small older zoo but still unique and interesting. Went on a Sun in Jan and still was able to see most of not all the animals. The big cat area was cool to be able to see them up close from inside, but the rainforest area was the best. Very warm despite the outside temp. Good place too walk around for a couple of hours.

Taylor Lewis — Google review

I went on a weekday and it wasn't crowded at all. In fact, there wasn't even a line going in. The animals all had unique personalities and were so fun to look/interact with. I wish the otters had been out. I went back a few times but they must have been inside or hiding. To be fair, it was blistering outside. I was amused that the polar bears were the most active outside in the scorching sunlight. The zookeepers were all very helpful. We especially enjoyed the gem/fossil station. It was definitely a family favorite.

Amelia — Google review

Beautiful zoo!It had several backdrops throughout the zoo for beautiful pictures. While it isn't the biggest, it was just right to explore in a couple of hours. It made for a great road trip from Niagra Falls.

Tasha Martinez — Google review

This zoo was a lot bigger than I expected. For like $18 you get a good size zoo that you can walk around for a few hours or more. Plenty of animals were out. I took off a star because that parking is horrendous. It took us awhile to find a parking spot and it wasn’t even close to the entrance. I still recommend coming here though.

Nicholas P — Google review

Animals in concrete pens, in their feces and urine. Is this respectful? Is this conservation? Is this humane? It looks like a correctional facility for individuals whose only crime was to be born a wild animal. It’s time for zoos to become rehabilitation centers to teach new generations kindness and respect. Enough of “bread and circuses”. Animals deserve better. And our children do as well. Enough of this superficial appeasem*nt under the guise of education unless the lesson is “might is right”.

Ana Vaschuk — Google review

Great visit. Animals were active and up-close. Saw many unique animals such as Sand Cat, Canadian Lynx, and many others. See pictures. My aunt who lives in the area, first visit in over 10 years was impressed how much the zoo has grown.

Robert Schneg — Google review

Visited on a Saturday morning. Parking was simple. The zoo is well laid out. We especially enjoyed the polar bear and the lions. 2 lionesses and 4 cubs were out for a while. Then 2 males came out and They were roaring back-and-forth with the females and cubs. Of course they also have some bisons.

Roger Reddy — Google review

Family of four 2 adults and 2 children. Parking was free ...today ...Purchased a family yr membership for 110.00$ ( gives discounts at other zoos!!!!) Two visits is more than that and you'll want to come back! Animals seemed well cared for. Some construction at the entrance made it a little cumbersome to navigate around. Early spring weather was overcast 60 degrees. A few exhibits were under construction. Did not interact with many employees. Spent 3 hours here and still could have spent more. There was a few of the typical food choices pizza burgers fries ck fingers etc. popcorn cotton candy dipping dots for snacks around the park. Animals were aging a little. I didn't even get to the the giraffes because you know ...toddlers. Front the arctic circle , to the African savannah , the mountains of Asia and the rainforest of south America almost all 7 continents..the only thing missing are elephants and penguins....Lions tigers polar bears gorillas buffalo bison ( 716 Lets Go ) reptiles and much more! Not sure who had more fun dad or the kids. Will be back for sure

It was a very enjoyable afternoon. I've been to many other zoos before, but this was my first visit to the Buffalo zoo. This one is a diamond in the rough. There's a lot to see and experience, but they definitely need to upgrade the facility and freshen the presentations.

Such a great experience! All the cages and facilities were very clean! The Staff was very polite! The lady in the Rainforest was knowledgeable and the cashier from Buffalo Burger was awesome. Food prices were steep but all in all it was a great time. We will be back!

The zoo has really improved since the last time I visited a few years ago. The display art of flowers, insects, etc is really beautiful, I would love to see it at night. The indoor exhibits were great, the bird show was nice and there are lots of activities for children. And they do give a military discount.

The Buffalo Zoo is a fun and educational place to see a variety of animals and plants. I loved seeing the majestic lions, tigers, and snow leopards; the intelligent chimpanzees and red pandas; the exotic komodo dragon, sea turtles, and zebras; and the adorable goats and cows. The zoo also has a reptile house with snakes and frogs, a bird house with eagles and other birds, and an Arctic Edge exhibit with polar bears and mountain deer. The zoo also offers a carousel ride and a kids tattoo art station for extra entertainment. The Buffalo Zoo is a must-see attraction in Buffalo, NY.

Supta Mukherjee — Google review

We arrived in chilly autumn afternoon. We did not have to wait as it was the off season and the park was not fully of many people. Even so we got to see plenty of animals that were spectacular to see. The enclosures seemed clean and the animals appeared happy. The lions even put on a show for us roaring and playing with each other. I highly recommend going when you get the chance

The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Martin House is a National Historic Landmark in Buffalo, New York. The mansion is an excellent example of Wright's Prairie School architecture, and is regularly ranked among his most important and impressive works.

Beyond beautiful from every angle! Recommend the tour and gift shop. The gardens, ground, atrium are absolutely gorgeous. Found great items in the gift shop. Bought a few things I can use everyday and be a reminder of Martin House as well as unique items. Visitor Center had an excellent array of photos showcased in lighted displays in a historical timeline. Tours and self-guided tour options available.

Tracer 396 — Google review

We enjoyed the basic tour (2 options avl: basic is 75 minutes and premium is 120 minutes). We didn't ask what the difference between the 2 tours was, but since 75 minutes fit into our schedule, we chose it. It was an interesting tour and the tour guides were quite knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I would like to view the gardens in late spring or summer as the grounds appear to be meticulously maintained. We visited on April 1(too early for blossoms) and it was snowing and quite windy. Photos are only permitted while OUTSIDE or inside the conservatory. No photos allowed inside the house whatsoever. A short (8 minute) and informative movie started off the tour that provided a background on the relationship between Wright and Martin. The attention to detail and design of the home was exclusively Frank Lloyd Wright, including the furniture throughout the home. There were many references to the rather large basem*nt which was supposedly used for some entertaining, however, that is only viewable with the premium tour. In our opinion, the basem*nt should be included in the basic tour since it is referenced throughout the basic tour. At the very least, it should be identified in advance of purchasing your ticket so as a consumer you are aware of that option and make an informed decision. Very clean reception area, well maintained restrooms and friendly staff.

Touring the Martin House was a fantastic experience. I did the 2 hour tour on a beautiful spring day. It was very informative and nice to visit the upstairs. It was hard to believe it was designed and built in the Victorian era. A VERY highly recommended tour.

M J — Google review

We did not take the full tour but had a look from outside. We went for a short visit and did not have time to wait until tour started. I wish if we can buy tickets and have a look inside on our own pace rather than spending a lot of time following a tour guide.

Wonderful tour of an amazing house. The neighborhood is gorgeous. The property is pristine. Breath-taking details. Captivating stories about it's journey.

Rose Higgins — Google review

It’s was a nice little tour, it lasted about a hour and a half, we toured the front of the house and then the first floor and a few rooms upstairs and then the conservatory. I really wanted to tour the whole house for the price I paid. But nonetheless this is Frank Lloyd Wrights design so I’m not surprised. The grounds were well kept and our guide knew her stuff. I enjoy touring estate homes and this one did not disappoint.

Helena Boulding — Google review

They offer two tours. The 70 minute tour is only the main house. The 2 hour tour is of all of the buildings. If I had realized that we would have taken the 2 hour tour. The house is in a residential area, so be sure to arrive in plenty of time to find parking and walk to the house. It is interesting and the building has many original pieces of furniture designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The history of the Martin family explains why the house was designed the way it was. Unfortunately, when you go upstairs you only get to see part of the house. It would have been nice to see more. You can only take pictures in specific areas, mostly outside. Nice gift shop with beautiful items.

L T — Google review

Took the 75 minute docent led tour of the home. He was so well informed on the main things you'd expect to learn, yet the small details he wrapped in made it a really neat experience. Going online to get tickets is needed, I'd do so as far ahead as possible. My friends and I found ourselves wishing we'd been able to take the 2hr tour; unfortunately it was sold out.

Beautiful construction, magnificently designed. The staff were so nice and very informative, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work their. They were incredibly nice to us as let us take care of our young son who was with us and walk around the garden to calm him down. They truly cared about making our experience a nice one.

The Martin House was BEAUTIFUL!!! If you love different in architecture you will love this home!! Take a tour with a docent... we took the 1.25 hour tour and saw the house, conservatory and the carriage house and I was really impressed with it all. I would love to live in this house but I would never leave it!!! From the stained glass windows to the 8 miles of woodwork, this house is just amazing!! Don't miss it when in Buffalo!!!

Rena Correia — Google review

Amazing house and it’s very well preserved. I took the basic tour at it lasted around 1.5hrs. You can ask as many questions as you want and the tour guides are very good experts in Wright’s architecture. Take the tour, is the only way to go inside the house. Indoor photos are not allowed. There is a 10 min video presentation at the begging that really helps understanding the historial context of the house. Take time after the tour to look around the house and see some cool old houses in this historical neighborhood.

Gerardo Guerrero — Google review

Great experience at Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House! . Wright's architectural genius is well explained both on the tour and by the movie at the beginning of the tour. The tour also gives the history of the home and the home's owner Darwin D. Martin.Did the 75 minute tour which takes you both inside and outside the house. Once inside the house each room is explained in great detail. The most interesting parts of the house are probably the conservatory and the sunrise fireplace. As with most Frank Lloyd Wright houses the furniture design is second to none. The barrel chair and bookshelf are the most memorable furniture designs in the house.Gift shop was good, some items were over priced, but they had a lot to choose from. Be sure to purchase a ticket online in advance. They do offer a few different tours. Photography is not allowed in most parts of the house. If you have been to other Frank Lloyd Wright houses and not yet seen this one, it should be added to your list!

Ryan Mazierski — Google review

One of Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpieces in architecture, known as Prairie style, which aims to be organic, making it part of its environment and trying to blurr the transition from the nature outside to the living areas inside. Beautiful inside and out, superb gardens. Enjoy!

This 100+ year old home is a must see if you visit buffalo. Our two hour was incredibly detailed and very informative. A truly beautiful piece of American history perfectly preserved.Thank you for a fantastic afternoon

Oh my God, where do I start? Our tour guide is very informative. We did the least expensive tour, wish we did the 2-hour tour. The pain staking restoration of this piece of art Architecture is magnificent! Thank you to the craftsman, the artisans, and the backers for saving this for future generations. The design, the eyelines, the thought and design going into even a narrow nearly hidden window encompasses the brilliance in Frank Loyd Wright's design in Martin House. If you are on the fence to see this home, jump over Nd come in. You will not regret it.

Ryan Gates — Google review

What a treasure! This was my first FLW project to visit and I’m pretty sure the bar has been set. The information center is incredibly well designed with plenty of information. The tour is fantastic and well worth the price of entry. The Docent was kind and knowledgeable. Then the house itself is nothing short of a masterpiece. The crown moulding woodwork is incredible, the art windows are perfect, the tiling is brilliant. The “flow” of the home is unique and offers moments of intimacy and awe. Well ahead of its time.I wish I could have taken photos inside, and I would have loved to explore the basem*nt, as I’d wager there might be some hidden creativity there as well.100% a must see for any art and design lover.

Shon Dempsey — Google review

Excellent tour and facilities. How little Frank Llloyd-Wright cared about the people who lived in, used, the houses he designed never ceases to amaze me. Martin's wife was legally blind and there is not one thing about this house design that is sentient if her experience. It's classic Frank, clever, pedantic, beautiful, and all about Frank's aesthetician over comfort or use. On a bright day they had all the lights on - because his aesthetician is a terrible use of natural light. Fascinating!

Hilary P — Google review

This was my first time visiting. I was very impressed with the complex. The 75 minute tour was well worth it. It was worth traveling for. The detail that went into the design of the house is breathtaking. It was encouraging to see the efforts of this group to restore this house to what it was like over 100 years ago. Loved the tree of life stained glass. The detail that went into this place was better than some of the other FLW houses I have been to. If coming to Buffalo this has to be on the list to visit.

Anthony DeMaria D.C. — Google review

We went on the shorter 75 minute tour and it was fantastic! Both Eileen and Paula did an excellent job telling the stories of this beautiful home. The tour starts with a 9 minute video about the history of the Martins, Wright, and the building of this house. There is a cafe and a gift shop on site that sold lots of Frank Lloyd Wright merchandise that can be found at all of his other homes. We have a NARM membership so the two of us were able to get in for free! Well worth a visit if you’re in Buffalo.

Amazing rehabilitation to the tune if $50M+! We took the shortest tour- 1hr 15 min. The tour starts in the new building (award winning architecture itself) with a quick film and then a walk though the first and second floors of this historic creation of Frank Lloyd Wright, one of his earliest projects that helped catapult him to the fame he attained as a premier American architect. Absolutely beautiful rehabilitation and detail.

Roycroft Campus, a late-19th-century hub for the US Arts & Crafts movement, offers workshops, a museum, and guided tours. It played a significant role in preserving quality craftsmanship during the Industrial Revolution. This National Historic Landmark is perfect for history buffs and also known for its delicious brunches. Established by Elbert Hubbard, it provides educational programs, artisan classes, and social gatherings to preserve its historic significance.

Always a treat. It was our son, Enzo’s birthday dinner. He loved everything and he had a Sunday to wrap up his big night. If you find yourself in East Auroras and you haven’t visited the Roycroft you really should. It’s awesome architecture and full or history. The food is always top notch and it’s a fun atmosphere to enjoy dinner with good friends and family.

A beautiful campus. So much history here. We went during a fair and so there was a lot open that apparently is not normally open. I wish that they had more classes and things like that to offer the community instead of just being artist show places, but that is extremely cool as well. We will be coming back here again but this time without our small children which I think will improve the experience exponentially.

The Roycroft Campus in East Aurora, New York is the best preserved and most complete complex of buildings remaining in the United States of the "guilds" that evolved as centers of craftsmanship and philosophy during the late 19th century. The Campus is designated a National Historic Landmark. The Roycroft Campus founded by Elbert Hubbard in 1897 was the birth place of the American Arts and Crafts movement that was a direct response to the Industrial Revolution. It was more than just a art movement...it was a way of thinking. Many of it's ideas are still relevant today. The Campus started off as the Roycroft Press which printed many of Elberts literary works. He previously worked at the Larkin Soap Company in Buffalo, NY. His wife Alice Hubbard was a noted women's suffragist. Elbert and Alice would eventually die aboard the RMS Lusitania.Fun Facts:A famous Roycrofter named W. W. Denslow illustrated the children's book The Wonderful World of Oz that would become adapted into the legendary film The Wizard of Oz. If you walk around the Campus and East Aurora you can see where he got his inspiration from. The lion head located on The Chapel is widely believed to be the inspiration for the illustration of the Cowardly Lion for W. W. Denslow's children's book The Wonderful World of Oz. The similarity is still evident in the iconic film adaptation The Wizard of Oz.

Matt Costanza — Google review

Very well curated Arts and Crafts Movement landmark campus, with quite good examples of adaptive reuse throughout. The people are incredibly welcoming, from staff to docents. The shopping is also very well assembled, with a good deal of thought given to the merchandise, stock, display, and relevance to the campus and its history. This is a great half day stop, with excellent dining options as well.

Vidler's 5 & 10, Inc. is a historic store located in East Aurora, offering a wide range of products from cookware to penny candies for over 80 years. The store's two floors are filled with nostalgic and old-fashioned charm, reminiscent of Woolworths from decades ago but on a more personal scale.

Love it love it love it! Amazing amount of items for pretty much any need. Give yourself lots of time and take some "mad money" with you as you're going to find things you never realized you need! Two floors of all kinds of fun (and useful) items. You may want to go at least twice to really see everything.

Mary Kate Schmahl — Google review

Such an interesting store. 2 floors with 3 -4 rooms each level of just random odds and ends. Craft items, kitchen supplies, kids toys and games and even old nostalgic candies and paraphernalia. If you're east Aurora, definitely make time to visit this old five and dime!

Britney Matthews — Google review

Vidler's is a really cool store that's stayed open. I don't know many other stores like it, so I'm glad to see that it still has a lot of business. There is truly everything in that place, I love all the odd knick knacks and all the candy too. You shouldn't have a plan of what to get in the place, you should just wander around and you'll surely get something useful or fun.

Jack Voltz — Google review

So much!!! This is a great "bucket-list" place. The store is so over stocked ( but in a VERY neat way) with not only nostalgic goods, but those unusual hard to find things, you didn't know you needed. P.S. Walk the street. East Aurora is a wonderful place to visit.

Exploded gift shop with a cooky sign. The interior is labyrinthine, with each room vaguely themed by types of products. Toys, office supplies & phone accessors, cards, novelty items, leather and sewing, doll crafts, kitchen & bath accessories, etc. Two floors of gifts and crafts. Staff are nice.

Love finding nostalgic candy and toys. I always buy at least one candy item when I leave here. Brings back so many memories. There are a lot of amazing and different items throughout the store. Nicnacs for all the seasons. Have to come here at least once a year. Love that it was used in a movie.

Wow what a fun place. So much to look at. You could definitely spend a few hours walking around looking at everything. When my wife and I were there they were filming what we thought was a commercial. I found out the next day it was actually a hallmark movie. If you are in the area you wouldn't be disappointed if stopping by even if it's just for the old time candy section.

Viddler's is a very cute store. Love all the candies. I can see why the storefront has been in many Hallmark movies.

It was amazing!!! They literally had everything and anything you could think of. Especially if you love cooking or baking foods. If not they had plenty of other things like purses or super cute baby items. My personal favorite is the amount of toys they have for kids and old boardgames that reminded me of my childhood. I must say I'm very impressed! Absolutely love the soup bags that have all the spices and everything you need in them.

Kind of like if Walmart, Hallmark, and the Dollar Tree had a baby. So much like an Woolworths from decades ago on a more personal scale. It felt like a step back in time. The store is arranged in a very sweet and pretty way with the sections and different rooms containing certain items. Love the wood finishing, red and white stipes and the bins and display boxes with various treasures! Got a present for my daughter's teacher and plenty of ideas for other important people! We will be coming back soon to do our holiday shopping! Love how they have the children's fun stuff on the top floor.

Museum

Specialty Museums

This museum featuring art & information on the history of the Erie Canal also houses a gift shop.

I was really impressed with the Erie Canal Discovery Center. It's really nicely done with a cool 15 minute video to start the experience. It's a good price and really nice especially on hot days. There's a really cute giftshop full of unique and cool souvenirs. It's the best place to buy a Lockport souvenir magnet. The employee was super nice and extremely knowledgeable. We had a great conversation with him and it was a highlight of the day.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The Erie Canal Discovery Center is an absolute gem for anyone fascinated by the rich history of locks, canals, and Lockport. Stepping into this center is like stepping back in time, with its immersive exhibits and captivating displays. From the engineering marvels of the locks to the bustling history of Lockport, every corner is filled with fascinating stories waiting to be discovered. The center's dedication to preserving and sharing this important part of our heritage is truly commendable. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just looking for a fun and educational experience, the Erie Canal Discovery Center won't disappoint. It's a must-visit destination for anyone wanting to delve into the captivating history of our locks, canals, and the vibrant city of Lockport.

Blake Lemoi — Google review

Excellent facility and presentation. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Pictures of actual lock, Flight of five.

Bob Pauley — Google review

Small, very interactive museum. The curator was very knowledgeable. The video and simulated canal ride was a fun experience that helped explain a lot bout the locks. I liked the fact the canal center and several other buildings were built from the stone out of the canal.

Nathan Brown — Google review

A MUST! This museum gets you much more than you'd expect for the low admission price. There's an interactive film about riding a boat through the locks that is SO GREAT. The staff is so knowledgeable and it's really exciting if you like history, geology, engineering. Do the museum, then head to the locks. So much better than the overpriced boat trip through the locks. And the gift shop is full of really cool stuff at BARGAIN prices. Check it out, do your holiday shopping early. Oh, and there's a kids' area where they can do dress-up and have interactive exhibits. I loved this museum, it truly exceeded expectations.

Kate — Google review

You can wander around the locks & there are informational signs to help you understand what you are seeing. We were there late in the day & missed the boat rides.

Mikee B — Google review

A nice piece of history. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Go on a kool day. Enjoyed watching the water rise and see gow the boats are able to get through.

lora Mendiola — Google review

This center was incredibly well done! The 18m video is the most clever I've ever experienced....but I'm not going to spoil it for you. Very modern displays with informative sections on how the canal was built, how it works, how it changed New York, and of course biographical pieces on the people who designed, built and later worked on the canal. Kiss loved the Canal Kids Corner, where they got to dress in period clothing and listen to the stories of real "canal kids". We spent about 44 minutes in the museum and reas EVERYTHING, a few minutes in the giftshop and about 45 minutes at the lock. It takes about 30 minutes for a boat to pass through, and was very fun to watch the lock in action and talk with the guy who operates it.$6/adult, $5/senior kids under 12 are free.

Krystal Gheen — Google review

Date of visit: Mon Aug 7thThe Erie canal is a real marvel of engineering. We have visited the Erie Canal locks in Lockport many times, and enjoyed it, so a visit to the discovery centre was in order to learn the history of its construction, design, and importance to western and upstate new york. This is a small museum with a number of artefacts, information on the canal and how the locks work. There is a 10 minute video that is actually quite fun.If you are ever in the Lockport area, be sure to visitDiscovery centre, as well as the locks, explore the caves, and ride the canal.

Rogue Trippers — Google review

The guide was pleasurable, knowledgeable, and interesting to listen to. The interactive learning centers were fun. The short movie kept your attention and was informative. There were plaques to read and items for kids to build. The whole museum can be completed in an hour or less. This would make an excellent upper elementary/junior high home school field trip. We went during the off season; if there was a group of more than 20, the space would be crowded and you would need to wait for turns at the exhibits.

Mara Cook — Google review

I stopped here on while on the Ride the Erie Canal Bike Tour. Very interesting lock to visit. You can still see the marks in the iron railings from the tow ropes. Amazing to see what was built with 1820's technology and it still works today.

Larry Miller — Google review

Enjoyed reading the historical markers and visiting and reading all the storyboards in the museum. Statues of the canal keepers also very well done and lifelike. Nice areas to walk around the canal and downtown. Fascinating glimpse into early US history.

Historical landmark

This company features guided boat tours through the 19th-century Erie Canal locks, tunnels & caves.

I loved this attraction - the tour guide gave us glimpses into the Eerie Canal and how it was manmade, how young (many Irish) immigrants helped in the caves. I could understand why people think the caves in this area of the Eerie Canal might be haunted. Suitable for all ages.

Theresa St. John — Google review

I enjoyed this tour. It's not a natural cave but rather a penstock tunnel. Worth seeing, and you get a nice impression of the lock. Great to pair with a cruise on the canal.Tour guy was extremely friendly and nice. Management seemed to have an odd vibe. But highly recommend.

Grant Broadhurst — Google review

The Erie Canal in upstate New York is home to a family-owned and operated attraction: the Lockport Cave. This cave offers a glimpse into the history and culture of the region, as well as the natural beauty of the underground. Our tour guide was a friendly and knowledgeable young lady, whose name I unfortunately forgot, but you can see her photo in this review. She was a native of Lockport and shared with us many fascinating facts and stories about the canal and the local businesses that used to operate there. The tour was not very long, but it was very informative and enjoyable.

Peter Lux — Google review

Fun tour with informative tour guide. It's definitely worth checking out if interested in the history of the man made cave. Wish there was better light in some locations of cave as I tripped over a metal chain. Other than that my little family had a fun experience!

Kelsey Hochlander — Google review

We were the last tour prior to the boat accident. No problems. Kyle was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and paying attention to every detail.

Patty Brown — Google review

This was an amazing experience. From learning about Lockport's early history to traversing the underground water tunnels. Our guide for the trip was Tony. He made the tour very interactive and injected humor into his repertoire of facts and historical deeds. I highly recommend this tour if you love history or the old lore surrounding the Erie canal. Very well done.

Chris Bourne — Google review

We are visiting from MD and saw this Halloween Lantern evening tour, it was alot of fun in spite of the cold, rainy weather. The guide was funny and knowledgeable, and recognized the need to get us out of the rain and cold as soon as she could into the cave, yet still give all of the information she was supposed to. My only wish is that there was just a little more light to actually see the inside of the cave, and cut back on the fog machines because we could barely see enough to walk safely. It was still lots of fun and I appreciated them giving us the option to take the tour scheduled before the one we had tickets for. This is a family friendly tour, but I would like to put out there that there are quite a few steps to climb and alot of walking and needing to keep pace with your group. If you have any health issues, take that into consideration for your own comfort. Also, be sure to tip these guys and gals. Our poor guide was soaked and freezing and still kept going with a sense of humor.

Laura Barnes — Google review

Lots of history to learn and very cool sights to see. Start off walking along the canal to the cave entrance. Into the cave walking and then to the boat ride at the end. With all a lot of stops as the guide tells the history. Kyle was great! Definitely a must go and also can see all the canal locks and history after the tour.

V V — Google review

Must-visit places. The underground boat ride is a definitely a thing to experience, it's definitely eerie. Temperature inside is drastically less than outside so if it's muggy outside then it will be pleasant inside. Our guide was Kyle, very knowledgeable and she was patient to answer all our questions

Nature & Parks

Park filled with campsites & wooded trails, plus a lake for bass fishing & a disc golf course.

The state park campground is well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Jayne, Marsha, and Patty along with park manager Chad were amazing. The older female groundskeeper was such a sweetheart and went above and beyond her job duties to make sure we felt safe, welcome, and taken care of. I can't wait to visit again when the season starts back up in May. Too bad the camping season ended on October 10. I could've stayed all year if it were possible. 10/10. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Very peaceful. The ground was still covered in snow, but you could tell underneath was mud. This park is known for its mud. Not too strenuous. Lots of trails to explore; especially for those trying to escape the amusem*nt park for a while.

Peggy Pozzuto — Google review

My boyfriend and I tent camped there for 2 nights and we essentially had no complaints! The bathrooms and shower were a very short walking distance from our site and we had a lovely time at the beach there. People were very nice there and we will definitely go back again. My only suggestion is to have wood and ice available at the main office and to also be more firm on the quiet hours; first night I was up until midnight trying to sleep due to fireworks and loud people around us.

Kate S (MissMarch1988) — Google review

Nice, very clean campground except the showers. The water isn't very hot. Not being able to connect to water was an inconvenience too but we knew that going in, it was going to be tough. We thought we'd just shower at the bathhouse it would be fine for a few days but the showers luke warm and pretty miserable. That's why I only gave 4 stars. Other than that I'd say great little park to stay in. The beach area is nice. And the play grounds everywhere throughout the park are a nice addition. There are plenty of picnic tables and several covered pavilions to have gatherings or birthday parties overlooking the water which is nice. The water is very clear for a lake. My dogs loved the water.Over all very clean park. Plus for being close to groceries and restaurants.

Sherry R. Goff — Google review

This is not a great hike for winter hiking, there are lots of frozen snowmobile tracks to navigate before getting to offshoot trails. The trails, specifically the orange to blue trails, is very muddy and boggy. There's ice/snow cover but soft from rain and melt so theres los of sinking divets.

Amanda Johnson — Google review

Snow was amazing!Everyone was kind and respectful.Parking is awful.. leave really early or sit in the po parking lot for 2 hours and wait it out. There's only one in and 1 out.No cash policy there .. price are a wee bit high but that seems normal these days

Daisy Martin — Google review

Clean, pleasant park with a swimming area, there is an area for a campground. You can also go fishing.👍

Serik Suieu — Google review

Terrible experience. They unlawfully detained my brother in-law who is disabled for floated his inflatable raft in the lake water. The held him in hand cuffs under the hot sun for over an hour. It was a terrible independence. His rights were heavy infringed on. Darien Lake Campground is a sesspool of abusers of power. Don't go here. There are plenty of better places where you will be treated with dignity and respect but definitely not this place!

A Kifner — Google review

Really busy, but decent and clean campgrounds, no issues, they have a nice beach on a pond, that is also good for fishing, catch and release. Caught a nice bass and a few sunfish fishing for only about a half hour. Only disappointment is I think they need more bathrooms in certain areas and they could use a small general store.

Johnathan Blades — Google review

They cut down all the trees near the water there is no more shade! Absolutely absord I can't believe they did that! Total lack of common sense! That being said I still enjoy going there every July 4th. It has been a family tradition my entire life and I'm proud to have passed down that tradition to my children and grandchildren!

Quaint spot. Very clean and well maintained. There's a lot of wildlife. Seems like a pretty nice place for a relaxed kayak ride.

First time here. Was decent experience.Staff was friendly.Had to go through security search was odd we dont do that in Canada. The biggest complaint was getting season passes there was not goid information regarding id n such after buying passes. We had to make 2nd trip back to our motel in Attica paid extra for this. Other then that was good experience. Food was bit pricey so we bought the day food upgrade.Since we do not drive made it difficult to get back n forth from Attica. Totally enjoyed my 4 days there.I will find six flags locations to go to there are easier when person doesn't drive.

Petrina D — Google review

Most of the rides where closed I mean there was literally 3 roller coasters open so short staffed it's not even worth going. Also many of the workers that were working were miserable and very rude. Huge lines. Only plus to this trip was that frighfest people looked cool. Won't go back until they get more staff

Chris Cosentino — Google review

It was ok! It has been many years since I have visited and it seems like it has gone downhill but we had a good time. The cost for everything is very high! One thing that was concerning, a child was not tall enough for the rollercoaster and was still let on. The worker was trying to do the right thing but other patrons were yelling to let her on and unfortunately the pressure must have got the best of her because the child was let on the ride. That was absolutely not ok. I have lost a child and it's not something you ever want to experience. I wouldn't trust the attendants to make sure your child is safe to go on the ride.

Sondra Knight — Google review

Thank goodness for their first aid center because I had a minor heart problem while in the water park and they came to my aid very promptly and the female lifeguard was truly helpful. I forgot her name but I greatly appreciate all the staff who assisted me and helped me with my child.

Fright fest has begun. I heard many positive comments from folks leaving after experiencing the special Halloween theme. NOt recommended for youth 12 and under, after 6:00 pm.

Fred Hermansen — Google review

I bought the season passes and the season refill drink cup. The best bargain I have ever bought. My family's summer is set. So much fun both on water rides and funfair rides, even grandma can enjoy a sunbathing and gentle swim by the wave pool and lazy river, then nostalgic funfair rides making her feel like a kid again.

Helen Gibson — Google review

It's no disrespect, I outgrow this theme park and I appreciate that they helped me have a great childhood but, I only go for the Kingdom Bound but not the rides anymore. If they had better rides or upgraded the predator then yea.

John — Google review

I love the rides, but they are short rides and only offer one train for the rollercoasters. It would be fantastic if they enforced the no illegal drugs in the park.

Gabby Smolinski — Google review

Great ticket promotion right now. I paid 120 for 6 tickets which is not bad at all. The lines weren't long, however the prices of the food has gone up and the portions are smaller. There is no reason fried dough should cost $12

Ebony Malone — Google review

The entrance line was the longest line that we had to wait in. Once inside the park, lines were not too bad. The security staff were nice enough to keep 1 lane open for those who did not have any bags to be searched. This lane is usually all the way to the left and you don't really have to wait in the long line. We had 1 person in our group keep all the bags and wait in line while the rest were able to go right in. The security process was not too time consuming and went by rather quickly for a weekday.

Concerts & Shows

Sizable outdoor music venue at the Darien Lake Resort featuring many national artists.

Saw Maroon 5 at this venue. The size of it is great! Drinks and food available everywhere. The drinks are a little expensive, we spent about $100 on 6 mixed/frozen drinks. But i think that is to be expected at this kind of event. So clearly the prices did not stop us from purchasing them. The live nation staff was awesome. The seating is great, we were in section 202 which was alot closer that we thought! Will definitely attend other concerts here in the future!

Victoria Allmon — Google review

I'm generally not this far back from the stage but that's the ticket I got. I wasn't impressed with where I was sitting..kinda off to the side hard to see events at times, watched more of the screen!Overall I enjoyed all of the performers but of course for King & Country was the reason I went. Amazing show!

Stacey — Google review

This place would be 5 stars except 1 HUGE thing. The getting out after the concert is a huge nightmare in itself. And that's being nice. This place has had this same issue for years i don't understand why it can't be figured out. Its insane. We just attended the Nickelback concert. Knowing this we got there early (first in line to the parking lot early. The lot opened at 2 we were there at 11) thinking we would get to park down by the main gate and be able to get out easier. NO we sat there for 3 hours only to be parked in the very back lot literally the furthest you could park away! So much for our plan and why they wouldn't start filling in the front first for there diehard fans is mind boggling to me. Instead they seemingly punish them and put them in the very back. It took us 3 hrs and 7 mins to just get out of the parking lot to the road! We left the concert before the encores to beat the traffic. That was a mistake we didn't beat anything and it only got worse. We moved the car to the first line at 10:40 and got too the camp ground at 2am. They let all the ones that were parked by the main gate out first! So another slap in the face to the fans that get there early! Park the late comers closer and let them out first. My daughter and there friends got there at 3 parked in the theme park lot and it took them 30 mins to get out. They were home in bed and we were still sitting there. Also no one directing traffic until the exit. So it was a fight getting in lines and people cutting in lines. Lots of people yelling at each other. People jockeying for spots when 2 or 3 lines come together. It's seriously just a huge fun killer after a great concert. The place itself is great to see a concert. The atmosphere is great. Overall it's a good place to go see any concert. I will say the Nickelback concert the venue was the cleanest I've seen the place. I've seen it also so bad the bathrooms had 3 inches of water and who knows what in them and garbage everywhere. I've been here probably 30 times.

Mudball15 — Google review

Nice venue even with lawn seats. The drinks are outrageous!! $75 for 4 tall boys of White Claws!! Seen Luke Bryan concert was awesome!

Josh Woods — Google review

Okay, so lemme tell you something. THIS PLACE WAS A FREAKING NIGHTMARE TO FIND. Google kept taking me to the Six Flags Hotel and Lounge and I thought I was going to miss my BTR concert. So let me save you some time: When you first see the arches of the rollercoaster, be on the lookout for the entrance because that is where you will be headed. The DLPAC is BEHIND/ a little further in of the Six Flags Amusem*nt Park.Okay, now we got that out of the way, I need to give a shoutout to the person who was at the front (and everyone else). I had an easy time parking because people led me the way and had an upbeat and jokester attitude which made everything a little better even though I thought I was late (I was not).I do have to give a shout out to one guy though. I arrived at around 8:45 PM, worried that I was late. One of the workers who worked at the front was super nice and let me know that I was not late, directed me to where I need to be for parking and also let me know where and how to get to where the band was performing. After the concert ended, he found me (even though I was wearing a mask that covered most of my face) and asked if I was able to find the stage after all. I said “Yes!” A couple of seconds later, though, I said, “I forgot where I parked.” He said, “just straight thru there” and he made the gesture to show me where I would turn/be going.I know that’s what workers are there for: to direct you to where you’re going, but the fact that he found me even after the concert ended to make sure I was all good made this gesture above and beyond. He basically checked up on me before and after the show and made me feel safe. For DLPAC’s reference for “good remarks/reviews and possible raises,”: He never gave me a name, but he was a handsome, 30 something (I think?) dark haired male with a little scruff IIRC.The sound and volume was amazing. I felt like it was just right and they sounded nearly the same as they did in studio. The parking situation was good. Leaving was great too because they had someone directing traffic. It was so easy to get out of the venue.

Lena Zhu — Google review

If you buy tickets to a concert, make sure you spend more money than you think you want to. Because sitting in the midsection or higher is like the nose bleeds of a stadium. And trust me, you're going to want to jump the fence but security doesn't like that. So just spend more money and be happier

The venue is nice. We had seats in section 202 for Post Malone. Seats were under the tent. Staff was friendly & helpful. Sound was great! Lost a star for the parking - we paid for the EZ Out parking, yet we had to wait while the other lots (oversized, etc) emptied out our exit. So we really didn’t get out much earlier than the cheaper & free lots. Not sure I’d pay that kind of money next time since there really was no advantage.

Lady Lightning98 — Google review

Haven't been to Darien lake concerts in over 20 years until this year a lot of people complain about the parking and leaving a lot that gets backed up and it's hard to leave after a concert at the traffic was not that bad at all. The security is a little over the top, makes it less enjoyable but I loved how EMS was ready in the concert for any medical emergencies.

Okay so I took five kids by myself to a Fallout Boy show. The tickets came with frre parking and amusem*nt park access, which is pretty sweet!I'll be honest I would not have been able to stay with the kids if Id gotten lawn tickets. Everybody out in the lawn was having a good time, it just wasn't particularly kid-friendly. I will say that while we navigated that crowd we had tons of help making sure we got through safely.🤘Inside the reserved lawn area, we had more. Room and a good line of site. Itwas just enough removed from the covering that it wasn't as loud, but we would have gotten soaked in downpour. The attendants in the section were phenomenal and gave the kids special treatment. We parked halfway between the entrance to the PAC and the Park (right by the Mind Eraser. We left about 10 minutes ealty and beat the traffic, which Ive heard can take 2+ hours. All in all,The experience was so good that I'm looking for other shows to go see!

This venue wasn't bad. It is an outdoor venue but they have a good selection of food and drinks! The view from our seats was pretty decent, but remember not all seats are under the Pavillion and if it's raining you better have an umbrella! Also during inclement weather WEAR BOOTS!! As your feet will get soaked during the lengthy walk from parking (which is slightly disastrous in itself). If you have the ability pay extra for closer parking! Otherwise great venue!
