I enjoyed this tour. It's not a natural cave but rather a penstock tunnel. Worth seeing, and you get a nice impression of the lock. Great to pair with a cruise on the canal.Tour guy was extremely friendly and nice. Management seemed to have an odd vibe. But highly recommend.

The Erie Canal in upstate New York is home to a family-owned and operated attraction: the Lockport Cave. This cave offers a glimpse into the history and culture of the region, as well as the natural beauty of the underground. Our tour guide was a friendly and knowledgeable young lady, whose name I unfortunately forgot, but you can see her photo in this review. She was a native of Lockport and shared with us many fascinating facts and stories about the canal and the local businesses that used to operate there. The tour was not very long, but it was very informative and enjoyable.

Fun tour with informative tour guide. It's definitely worth checking out if interested in the history of the man made cave. Wish there was better light in some locations of cave as I tripped over a metal chain. Other than that my little family had a fun experience!

We were the last tour prior to the boat accident. No problems. Kyle was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and paying attention to every detail.

This was an amazing experience. From learning about Lockport's early history to traversing the underground water tunnels. Our guide for the trip was Tony. He made the tour very interactive and injected humor into his repertoire of facts and historical deeds. I highly recommend this tour if you love history or the old lore surrounding the Erie canal. Very well done.

We are visiting from MD and saw this Halloween Lantern evening tour, it was alot of fun in spite of the cold, rainy weather. The guide was funny and knowledgeable, and recognized the need to get us out of the rain and cold as soon as she could into the cave, yet still give all of the information she was supposed to. My only wish is that there was just a little more light to actually see the inside of the cave, and cut back on the fog machines because we could barely see enough to walk safely. It was still lots of fun and I appreciated them giving us the option to take the tour scheduled before the one we had tickets for.This is a family friendly tour, but I would like to put out there that there are quite a few steps to climb and alot of walking and needing to keep pace with your group. If you have any health issues, take that into consideration for your own comfort.Also, be sure to tip these guys and gals. Our poor guide was soaked and freezing and still kept going with a sense of humor.

Lots of history to learn and very cool sights to see. Start off walking along the canal to the cave entrance. Into the cave walking and then to the boat ride at the end. With all a lot of stops as the guide tells the history. Kyle was great! Definitely a must go and also can see all the canal locks and history after the tour.

Must-visit places. The underground boat ride is a definitely a thing to experience, it's definitely eerie. Temperature inside is drastically less than outside so if it's muggy outside then it will be pleasant inside. Our guide was Kyle, very knowledgeable and she was patient to answer all our questions

All seafood products were worth every penny!! Everything we got was super fresh and yummy as always. Best spot for fresh seafood and the fun atmosphereThey will ship out the fresh seafood to your place for you. It isn't cheap but great quality seafood products and fresh vegetable. Have shipped it back a few times and love the tiger shrimp and oysters.

Interesting place, a lot of purchasing meat options. Good variety of sea food as well. Vegetarians, good luck!!.. there are a few pasta shops. The tomato sauce was tangy and delicious.Worth the the visit for first time Toronto visitors and folks purchasing meat.

This large marketplace exudes history, charm, and the classic Canadian story of hard work and fresh produce. The columns were easy to navigate, with bountiful arrays of cheese shops, delicatessens, meat, fruit, vegetables and seafood. The seating was scarce but spread throughout the marketplace and the air-conditioning made for a refreshing stroll in the summer.Be sure you check out downstairs where I'd recommend the Everyday Gourmet Coffee Espresso roastery which was probably the first place in Toronto I've visited which took its coffee seriously.

Top place! Went two days in a row to get the spinach and feta cheese bagel on the 1st floor. On a Sunday, they had music playing outside. Such a lovely atmosphere.

Pretty good, not a tourist cash grab or anything of that sort. Every item that I ate there was delicious. Fresh food and decent prices. Make sure to go to the coffee shop at the entrance on weekend and have the Jamaican blue mountain coffee . It's probably one of the best coffees I've ever had.

This is a very organized, clean and comprehensive marketplace where they sell fresh produce, meats, cooked foods, coffee, kitchen essentials and more.It is a joy to walk here even if you are not buying anything and they sell way more stuff than the usual supermarkets near you, premium cut, special cuts of beef, mutton, chicken etc.Prices here are a little higher, but freshness and variety is definitely better than what you get at supermarkets where they do sell stale meats or items that are not as fresh.There are a few specialty shops selling cheeses, fresh or frozen seafood, wines and they are really amazing.As a consumer, I might come here to buy special items, but given the price, I will be selective and look for offer fresh items elsewhere. Nonetheless, this place is pretty nice to walk around, look at fresh produce and meats and get inspiration for your next meal.P.S. Not everything is that expensive, they do have special offers now and then so keep a lookout and you might just find those hidden gems.

Cool place!!! So many options to choose from here. Indoor Venue reminds me of a local farmers market; indoors with 2 floors and with tons of vendors selling everything from meats, cheeses, syrup, seafood, souvenirs, various hot food options, desserts and more. Found a bunch of great options. My family grabbed lunch from various places. Crossed this spot off of our Toronto list. A big and exclusive market hall in two floors, with exquisite products. Here there are fish shops, butchers, charcuterie, vegetable shops, bakeries and pastries shops that offer high-quality products. I liked the different kinds of tomatoes. The honey store became my favorite. There were also a tea and coffee stores where you can find different kinds of coffee and tea.

St Lawrence Market is must see location if you are into your food. The market has existed since 1803 and it is filled with some excellent vendors and not just ones serving food and fresh produce.The cake selection at the market was magnificent. The pictures are of the cakes that caught our eyes at Future Bakery.The market also has a great selection of butchers. One of our favorites was Di Liso’s Fine Meats for their magnificent selection of steaks.

A wonderful place to relive the past. It was quite interesting to see the old pics of the market way back in the 1880s...I was distracted by the history and the colorful shops displaying all kinds of fresh products. The covered market took me back to the New Market of Kolkata, India. Similar ser up and feel except that New Market is more sprawling. Must have some of the interesting food being sold there. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited the market with a group of 6 on a Thursday afternoon. Walked around and looked at all the inner shops and stands. Mostly fresh produce/fish/ingredients but also a handful of food/meal spots to choose from. We enjoyed a variety of dishes (pizza, oysters, Chinese food, meat pies, and pastries). Very clean and easy to navigate. Loved visiting this adorable market!

This place!! It has a whole different vibe. You can get fresh and organic grocery, souvenirs, cloths, international products and so much more. Prices are comparatively high but there are some shops which accept cash, saving you some tax. Must visit, even if you just want to stroll around. Don’t forget to check out shops under ground level.

Fun place, with lots of good food. The shop or stall keepers are very nice and we loved what we picked (some pastries since we were on a tour and wanted something easy to eat). There's at least 1 ATM machine (bring some cash because some vendors only accept cash) and several washrooms, which were clean and not with a lot of people.

For a first time visitor like me on a Sunday mid-morning, St. Lawrence market can be both overwhelming and charming. Had a great time exploring this amaZing market. There are two levels to it. Both levels have a variety of stores selling exotic ingredients, cheeses, breads, baked goods, there are food vendors scattered all around. The market is pricey but food is good.

Every time I go to Toronto the St Lawrence Market is a priority to visit. The great assortment of vendors and products always amazes me. I usually get an assortment of breads and meats and cheese along with whatever else catches my eye. I also love the assortment of fish and oysters!

This was one of our favorite weekend trips of our year 💯. We will be bringing a cooler next year when we come back. Parking can take a few minutes, but you'll find a spot. We would recommend everyone visiting the market for sure. I can't wait to see it again.

It is absolutely amazing, you can spend a whole day in the museum. It has different sections of historical ages from all over the world. You can see many things from different civilizations. I loved the geology part. You can find brilliant minerals and stones. It is one of the best museum I have ever seen. Highly recommended to visit.

I visited here yesterday, haven't been to this museum in a long while because I live out of town, but it was well worth the trip! I recommend buying tickets in advance. This museum has 4 floors, and offers something for everyone's taste in history, and culture. Beautiful exhibits, artifacts, and so much history preserved. My favorite galleries are Europe, ancient Greece, Rome, Evolution of Style, Earth's Treasures, Biodiversity Life in Crisis. I checked out the T-Rex Special Exhibition Gallery, and it was pretty cool learning about the Evolution of the T-Rex, and also its bloodlines. Great artifacts on display. I recommend you plan a whole day here if you want to see everything. They have a nice Cafe here, and a sitting area. The Cafe offers coffee, cakes, and other sweets. The staff were amazing, and knowledgeable when asked any questions. I highly recommend this establishment for a nice day out, to explore history, and culture's around the globe.

I visited ROM last weekend and it was a great experience. This is one of the best museums if you want to learn about history and different cultures. The museum has different sections for Asia, Africa, America, Egypt and Europe cultures. Also don't forget to visit the minerals and gems section you will be amazed. Highly recommended to visit. It will take a full day to go through the exhibits so be prepared for it.

It was great! Lots of exhibits. Progress is being made at the First Peoples Gallery, but more can always be done. I appreciated the the ability to give feedback online, and the box to leave offerings of tobacco or other gifts.The other exhibits are stunning! I felt like a kid again going through the early life and dinosaur exhibits. I also learned a lot in the natural life areas.All the staff I (briefly) spoke with were extremely helpful and respectful.I can't wait to go back to see and learn more!

Amazing collection that showcases all different types of history from prehistoric ti modern times, the museum has it all. Everything is extremely well maintained and the museum is easy to navigate.Several other tourist areas I have been to have had poorly maintained restrooms and few amenities but the ROM is fantastic 👌. Highly recommend you check it out, whether you have kids or not it is a great place to go spend the day.

Loved the experience. So much to explore here. It's well managed and the artifacts are presented Very well. History seems well preserved with great literature to showcase all the relevance. My favorite section was where they have showcased the dinosaurs, everything on display is so well kept, the information beside every item is great and has that awe factor when you look at the displays.

Very cool so many things to look at it’s almost overwhelming! I recommend spending 3-4hours here so you can see everything, they have a great little cafe on the main floor and all of the staff were very nice and helpful. I am very interested in the provenance for the totem poles that go throughout the main staircase and wether or not they have came here ethically or if they are a stolen colonial souvenir from the West Coast, any information would be lovely and most appreciated!

Great place to spent time with family and friends. Get to learn a lot of earths history. Loved that piece which is 4 billion years old.Ticket is a bit expensive, but they provide free entrance on every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 16:30 - 20:30, which is great. You need to go a bit early as there will be queue. I think they let everyone in disregarding how big is the queue. I think they can add some instruction with arrow to navigate the museum it will be much easier for a newcomer to navigate. Overall loved it.

I absolutely LOVED the ROM! What a fantastic museum, filled with so many different exhibits and displays from various parts of the world.It was very cool to see the work they’ve recently done on the 2nd floor in the biodiversity area, especially for the kids.I wish however that they would update the displays in the second floor’s European Wing to have artifacts and paintings be numbered (similar to how they had it in Greece/Egypt), so that everyone can get an idea of where each item is from.As well, it was so cool to see the downstairs part of the museum be turned into a wedding reception for that evening! Loved seeing the couple be able to take photos in the museum, too! Really beautiful!Please go, spend all day (you’ll need it) and enjoy! Lots of amazing things to see. If you’re a student bring your card as well, discounted rate applies!

The ROM is World Class, all the way! Better then any of the Smithsonian in Washington DC. It is really a natural history and art & culture museum rolled into one! I only spent a few hours here, however you could come here for days and still be able to take in everything. I would recommend visiting the museum website in advance and prioritize what collections you want to see. Some rooms are going to be more busy then others based on the content. Lots of child friendly exhibits, ask the curators as to which ones are best suited for children. I bought the city pass in advance. NOTE: For the city pass the museum does require you to pick a day of visitation in advance. The city pass made it easy to access the museum. I recommend a visit to the geology collection. Some of the biggest geodes I have ever seen!

I always have such a wonderful time at the ROM. They have lovely regular exhibits and special exhibits running at all times. It’s very clean and organized. It’s very family friend and also a good adult spot. The gift shop is expensive. I recommend bringing lunch and snacks to eat while you’re here - the museum is very large and can take a long time to get through!

There just isn't enough time to see everything in one day... But it's worth the effort! One could literally spend a half day or more just on the bottom free area... And we practically did. The Chinese, Korean, and Japanese displays were AMAZING! The amount of Buddhist history contained here is just wonderful to take in. Some of our other family favorites were the free kids crafts, dinosaurs, the bat cave, and the Egyptian collection. General admission is definitely worth it just for the ancient civilizations collections on the third floor.We also did the special exhibit (T-Rex) and didn't find it worth the extra cost. The exhibit was alright but didn't really engage any of us (though there were some cool sculptures of T-Rex at various stages of life and even a baby tyrannosaur to see at the beginning of the exhibit). Unless you are a die hard dinosaur enthusiast, it can probably be safely skipped.The gift shop was also a bit of a let down as, though it's an incredibly nice looking and well kept gift shop, it didn't really have anything that is of the museum besides a few black shirts and hats that say ROM and nothing else (was looking for, perhaps, local photographers pictures of exhibits for sale, local artist renditions of the building or exhibits, or anything really that we could take home instead of random stuffed animals that didn't have anything to do with anything in the museum, random books, and random jewelry).The Egyptian collection is very well curated and the amount of wooden sculptures is staggering. The sarcophagus area is awe inspiring and the displays are beautifully built and house the pieces without distracting from them.All in all, the ROM is a must see in Toronto!

So much to see at the Royal Ontario Museum! The architecture is also unique-combination of ancient and modern. Best way to experience it is to plan beforehand the exhibits you are going to see. If not, can be quite overwhelming. If going with children do not miss the bat cave! Take note there is free entry for the ground level floor for many months of the year. The Chinese and Asian art here is enough for a museum visit.

I have to be fair since the last museum I went to was The Met in NYC - ROM just isn't close to that but it is still worth visiting. I went on a Friday and went straight to the second level, I pretty much had the place to myself which was great. The animal area is simply underwhelming and a waste of space in my opinion, just a bunch of stuffed animals in cases? The dinosaurs were really impressive along with the Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Cyprus exhibits. I thought some of the European furniture displaying what you may have found in different eras to be really well done too. Don't think I'd rush back but it's a great way to spend 2-3hrs.

Note: this only reflects the current state as of March 2024:The ROM is under construction, meaning some of the most popular areas are closed to visitors (T-Rex and other dinosaurs, prehistoric mammals area). Other areas are open, including the newest, early life section which IS incredible!**PARKING** The Green P lot that was closest to the ROM is closed!! No other parking in the area under $20, but as an alternative, you might find street parking, and pay for 3 hours for $12. I recommend using the Green P app, in case you need to extend the time. Or take public transit.Will update next time I come here, hopefully with the new renovations complete!

Offers a fascinating exploration of ancient civilizations, particularly the Egypt and Greece sections. The visit typically could span 3-4 hours and I would recommend grabbing a physical map upon entry as it's essential to plan accordingly, especially since the staff start asking the visitors to leave by 5:30 pm.The lighting is pretty dim, even where it could be brighter. The website says they have nine mummies, but despite the advertised four on exhibit, only two were on display during my visit, which may disappoint people, expecting to see more.

Good place to spend time with family and gain knowledge about history of different ethnicities.Dinosaurs exhibit is nice and bat cave experience is worth to visit.There is a kids play or activity area at the level 1. Kids can easily spend an hour there.There is a small cafeteria at the ground level and can accommodate 20 people max.

Very nice museum. Four floors of exhibits. Expect to spend at least 3 hours minimum. Coffee shop had excellent coffee. Automated ticket kiosks made ticket purchase a breeze. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Sadly only scratched the surface here but the museum has a large and very impressive collection of Asian art, especially Chinese and Korean- mainly ceramics. I didn't have the time to visit the ancient rooms and the natural history although just by the main entrance you find the most impressive dinosaur fossil in the world, with preserves skin and tail club!Great for adults and kids, enough to do for a whole day!

I went to ROM using the free pass. The museum was crowded, and 30 mins to get into the museum. It's worth the wait. The evolution of life was excellent . It took 3.5 hrs to see all the exhibits. Food was delicious in the cafe inside the ROM. Information center will provide u with the list of exhibits on each floor. This was very helpful in roaming around the ROMOverall splendid experience!!!

My Family and I went to the ROM to see "DEATH: Life's Greatest Mystery" on Sunday, April 7th/2024... it was a good exhibit that we all enjoyed. Plus after that exhibit, we wandered around and checked out more of the museum.

Loved it. A really great aquarium with a broad range of oceanic and freshwater life. I particularly enjoyed the part focused on Canadian lakes and oceans as it was beautiful and also informative about our own wildlife and habitats. The coral reef was great, the tunnel with sharks and turtles and large fish was excellent, and overall it was just a really great way to spend some time. Good for families, couples, or even a single adult looking to see some beautiful aquatic plants and animals. Definitely recommend.

The experience was great. The fun you'll have depends on your interest in underwater life. Although the aquarium is quite entertaining for every age, it will mostly excite kids since there are kid-exclusive experiences (ex. Little see-through tunnel going inside a fish tank, kid park inside the aquarium). Aquarium also has a cafe located inside but only works at select times (I do not remember exactly)

The aquarium was an easy walk from a local hotel. We were here for a short stop before we headed north. The aquarium was clean and easily accessible. The displays were interesting. The people mover was nice but a bit slow for my liking. Overall a nice aquarium but a little on the expensive side for the experience.

We embarked on a mid-week visit to Ripley's Aquarium accompanied by our family of five. Arriving around 11am, we were greeted by a bustling atmosphere that was almost overwhelming during the initial two to three exhibits. However, as we continued our journey, the crowd dispersed slightly, affording us a better opportunity to appreciate a diverse array of aquatic creatures. Opting for the moving conveyor belt experience, we were able to enjoy the exhibits with a bit more breathing room, creating a pleasant separation from fellow guests.The mesmerizing jellyfish were showcased in a captivating tanked section, complemented by an abundance of starfish, sharks, and stingrays. Towards the end, the touch tanks were a bit cramped and heavily populated. Regrettably, many visitors bypassed the final tanks due to the congestion and occasional pushiness. Nevertheless, the aquarium offered a splendid assortment of fish species that were a delight to behold.The premises and facilities, including the restrooms, maintained a tidy appearance. It is worth noting, however, that the hand sanitizer stations were found to be empty, which was a minor inconvenience.

Beautiful place. You can buy tickets in advance or at the door. We bought them on line just few minutes before and we didn’t have to wait at all. Excellent place to bring your little kids because there is a playground and the whole experience in general is super fun. The food is surprisingly good! This is not too common in places like this :). The sharks and jelly fishes are so beautiful, and the sea turtles are a show apart. We took beautiful pictures in the glass tunnel that look so good. Wonderful place to visit more than once.

I had a great experience at Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto. It offers an immersive and captivating underwater experience. I had fun time here. I went there at last night because I don't like to be around with too many noisy people. The staffs were so friendly even though I was there very late. I told them, "I took so many pictures!", and they replied me " Seems like you have lot of fun! We are happy to see that!" It is a good and positive experience here.

I really liked this aquarium. The "Ripley's" part is still unknown to me... Loved the layout and the different 'scenarios' for all the sea living creatures. My favourite was this upper part where you can actually pet the stingrays! So cute! And there's a part too where you can have a picture 'being in there' with all the fish (inside an acrylic cylinder of course), but it's a nice application. Amazingly huge spaces where you can get to see sharks and other big creatures (passing above you, casually). They have an interesting and eye-catching souvenir shop.

Great place for kids and adults likewise to spend a couple of hours enjoying the views of the enchanting under water world . I was especially enamoured by the kelp.. and the information about it.. ( used to thicken cream😮) . I enjoyed the jellyfish and axolotls, they were particularly enamouring. The giant turtle was a fantastic sight as well. The sea urchins and anemones in their exquisite colours were so surreal and beautiful. The place is indeed worth a visit . Educational, informative and well-designed.

Very good, a lot of kids but it is expected. The aquariums are well maintained, the fishes are great, the exhibitions are diverse and keep you entertained with facts and little activities along the way. The whole process of getting in was flawless since we got our tickets online. Overall it was great.

Took the kids on a weekday a few weeks ago. It was not busy. If you’re going to spend the money, I recommend going during the week as we were able to take our time, not have to worry about crowds, and see everything. The food wasn’t too badly priced either. My 5 and 11 year old both had a blast. There are lots of different interesting sections for everyone to see and be amazed. They even have discounted parking you can sign up for on their website and save money and time to trying to find somewhere to park.

It is a fun place to be. You can easily spend some couple of hours mesmerizing about the aquatic world. They got octopus/sharks/turtles and many other species. I like the dangerous lagoon in particular as it transforms you under water and the experience is great.We have visited this place many times, as my kid loves this place, in particularly the little play area they have.

Awesome Aquarium with great displays and sea life. Lots to see and do, easily spend 2-3 hours at this Aquarium. Great location as well.Kids playground is nice for young ones to burn off energy and it's right by cafeteria with many options.Just a bit too busy, feel like your jammed in there like sardines. Still, highly recommend, especially with young kids!

My husband and I brought there our 3&5 y.o boys. All of us enjoyed the visit. Kids liked the aquariums, playgrounds and other interactive activities. My husband and I were mesmerized by the creates and the path under water. This place is a must to visit for a whole family. One thing to mention: be ready that the place is PACKED. We had to join a line even we arrived at 9.10 am. Also, before that we spent sometime to find parking which is not available on a site. It is a great idea to purchase tickets in advance. No need to print them. Just have your phone ready and click on a link receied after the payment got processed. Another tip: out kids got wet while playing at the water table. Hence, spare clothing might be needed.

We went at night. It's a lot better than the atmosphere. And there are a lot fewer people in the daytime. It's insane the number of people that go there. But at night it is just beautiful. All the lights, it was lit up perfectly. It was really beautiful. And the fish didn't see me trapped or treated in some kind of cruel manner. It was very. Large the tanks they We're in. There were sharks. There were stingrays there were jellyfish there were.Every kind of fish, you can even see a few larger tortoises 🐢.

Had an amazing time this weekend, took a friend from out of town to visit. Bought tickets in advance, and while the aquarium was busy, the entry was efficient and didn't have to wait in line at all!We got to see the Dive show and saw sting rays being fed - it was educational, insightful, and fun!Also got to touch a Sting ray - that was amazing!My favourite is still the tube with the conveyor belt - seeing sharks and schools of fish and sea turtles swim around you is just an incredible feeling - like diving but without the gear!It was a great afternoon!

Not my first time here, but was here chaperoning a class trip.The aquarium isn’t that huge (it’s a big loop that you can speed run through in ~10-15 min if you really wanted to) but it is packed with things to see! The reefs, the setups, the turtles and sharks and jellyfish are all so beautiful and I highly recommend you taking the time to really take in all the serenity of ocean life.Don’t miss the opportunity to touch some of the stingrays or to attend one of the dive shows!

Very crowded but we really enjoyed the tunnel and seeing the sharks, stingrays & turles, groups of fish swam over our head ls was really cool! I Was hoping to see more jellyfish. I also liked the seahorses and sea dragons. Takes about 1-2hrs to finish seeing everything unless you want to read all the info on the displays. In general, it is a good place to spend time with your family. There are washrooms which nice. Also sitting space is available in duration as it’s too much walk specially for seniors citizens and kids. There is a big variety of item in the souvenir shop. Finally, I was able to see many marine species and rare species. It was a clean and maintained place. At the end they showed documentary where they tells how they maintain all water and temperature for various species. Also you get chance to touch string rays which is fun and interesting part of visit.

Tickets - there are few ways in which you can get your tickets, 1. Online 2. on the premise, if you have a debit/credit card you can use the ticket kiosk available, which has fewer people in the queue and is faster.I booked my ticket on the premise via the ticket kiosk but it only printed me the receipt but no tickets, I followed up with the assistance counter there and mentioned the problem, they were able to print me the ticket, took me 15 min total, to get tickets.The aquarium - is very well maintained and clean. The main attraction is the shark tunnel. I was there with my kid and he really enjoyed it. I have been to another aquarium which had a larger collection of fishes and the entry ticket was also cheaper, but this place is in the heart of the city so ticket cost might be justified.The place has a cafeteria where you can get a quick bite and rejuvenate, I tried pizza and fries, cheese pizza 🍕🍕 was good.Do carry your water bottle as you might get thirsty during your tour, there are water fountains available where you can refill water.

This is my second time coming here after many years and I was blown away at how great it was. I forgot about the tunnel; that ended up being my favourite part. I did take my daughter with me and I wish there were more interactive things for an 11 year old. A lot of the interactive things were catered to toddlers.

Way more fun than I expected, and I expected it to be fun! There are so many cool creatures. I was in awe! The moving glidepath for the Dangerous Lagoon was amazing; I could just focus on watching the creatures. Ray Bay was so cool, and touching the rays was an awesome experience. Plant Jellies was fascinating! Takes about 1.5-2 hours at a good pace. The tanks are beautifully lit, and there is lots of touch information for kids. Visiting the aquarium is a great reminder to protect our oceans.

I loved this aquarium. They have so many cool aquatic animals. There are big tanks with fishes, sharks, rays, turtles and other creatures. You get so involved that's easy to loose track of time!It can be a quick visit or a whole activity.

Went here about 7 years ago and it was just as good as I remember it. They have a ton of amazing exhibits including an underwater tunnel with a conveyor belt that runs the length of the tunnel. It gives you an awesome look into the world of sea life without having to do anything but stand there and watch.Tons of educational information throughout the entire place that can keep you immersed for hours.If you are visiting Toronto this is a must see.

The jellyfish show at this aquarium is mesmerizing. I’d really like to know how they engineered this exhibit. Do yourself a favor and come check it out. In the “tunnel underwater” exhibit you will have sharks, rays, and fish passing over you. The anemone exhibits burst with a gorgeous array of color. This aquarium also makes an exhibit of its massive water filtration system. Despite Ripley’s not being as massive as the Georgia Aquarium, it is still beautifully curated and very worthwhile visiting.

Great experience for people of all ages. It was about $36 dollars after converting from CAD to USD when I went which felt like a pretty decent price compared to similar attractions in the US which usually run much higher. I enjoyed getting to see all the animal exhibits. The jelly fish on the ceiling was probably the coolest. It’s easy to miss since your aren’t expecting to have to look up in that area. Getting to touch some of the animals in the water at the end is cool too, I just wished there was a spot to wash my hands afterwards.

A pricey aquarium but it's to be expected. The highlight is definitely the tunnel, surrounded by sea creatures of all types. Lots of informative screens, however you're not given much time to read them before it cycles to the next bit of info. I'd prefer it if the animals were labelled on plaques throughout instead.

Fun place to take the family. Not much for interaction for the kids. It's rather pricey for what it is. They have some neat creature. Alot of walking.Kids area and food area needs improvement. Prices for food is high and selection is very limited. I would suggest packing a lunch. It was still very busy on a Thursday.

Was a great experience for the kids. I, however, if, as an adult, are taking young kids, be ready to bounce through everything quickly. We missed a bunch of value in each display, as my children are smaller and didn't wish to wait around. They did ask to go back. Will certainly go back in 2 years when they may care more about the information and may take more away from it

Ripley’s aquarium was fun to walk in and spend some time in discovering types of fish that live in the waters of North America (I thought there would be a bigger section on other geographies)We booked the tickets in advance and spent around an hour and a half inside. It’s accessible and has various playing corners and food options as well.Don’t miss out the chance to play with the sting rays before you head out!

I have visited this place twice in 6 years, if you are an adult 1 visit is more than enough as you tend get bored.If you don’t want to spend too much time then weekdays are preferred as less rush, weekends can be crazy.For kids it such a great place to see different kind of sea creatures. Some of them they can touch it as well.You can bring your food with you as the food inside is damn expensive n small portion size.Kids also have play area where they can enjoy 😊I haven’t experienced the Jazz days

If you’re visiting T.O. It’s worth it! I combined with the CN tower tickets bundle (only available online). I liked the aquarium MUCH more than the tower. They have many species and it’s well kept and clean. Some tanks are quite small. Even with mixed feeling of living creatures in captivity- how else can most people see these amazing creatures in real life and gain a grater understanding of how we should take care of our oceans. Not the biggest and best in the world but it’s 2-3 hours well spent - take your time to gaze and read. If you’re dead inside you probably won’t be happy with anything and should stay in your hotel . If you have curiosity and a sense of wonder you will love it. Expensive-yes-but worth it especially with kids.

Restaurant has amazing views of Toronto and the water! The entrance to the restaurant was a little longer than anticipated, most probably due to Spring break though we had reservations. Food was ok and a little pricey. Service was good and atmosphere very family oriented. If you eat at the restaurant, entrance to the skyline is free so you get the view from the restaurant and then from the skyline. Good place.

The wait was long and the windows were not cleaned so disappointing photo experience.When they take a photo and says it’s free, well it’s borderline a scam. Taking the photo was free but purchasing them costs 40$… seriously, if it was 20$ I’d pay for it… don’t like the baiting and the outrageous price.The kids and I loved the “downstairs” where there are the glass walking area. Glass were small and again not cleaned… and I would make it just in top of the Rogers Stadium it would have being a bliss! Well the part we loved was the big LED screen! Loved the themes and the different backgrounds!The staffs were funny and chilled with tourists so bravo for that!

Had an amazing time at the CN Tower restaurant.. Great view and great food. Our server George was especially great. He was kind, polite, and provided exceptional service. I would go there just to say hi! Definitely a great place for a date with someone special. If you haven't been already, your are missing out on a great attraction in the city! Please go!

Nice experience. Awesome view of Downtown Toronto, Old Toronto, and Lake Ontario. Can easily spend around 40 minutes including taking videos. Elevator ride is good. Better to arrive before 11 am to beat the rush and always precook the tickets. Or else the lines can stretch to half kilometers

Want to experience a new height and see as far as your eye can see, then this is the place. 👌Had a great time here and the views were spectacular. 👌Elevator ride is smooth and you get to the top in about a minute.The staff will take a picture of you on a green screen. Make sure not to lose that receipt they give you. This will help the staff to find your pictures upon your return down to ground level.When you come back down you can visit the kiosk there, where they'll have two pictures of you with the CN Tower and the city skylight (daytime & night time), and they are nice. Roughly $40 or so for both pictures and a digital download link for you to have on your computer, laptop, or mobile phone. My opinion, I thought it was worth it.There is also a nice gift shop and some of the stuff there is pretty reasonable, when it comes to price.I really enjoyed my time here. 😊👍

The view is breathtaking. I think it is good to visit it once. You will enjoy the panoramic view especially the lake side and watching the yachts and the planes taking off from the billy bishop airport..We took tons of amazing photos up there.You can go a lower floor and you can enjoy walking on the glass if you dare looking downstairs :) There was a large screens that create nice scenes so we took more photos infront of itIt is good to book online so you can save waiting in the tickets line. BUT take care there are a lot of linesare waiting for you... Be ready to wait from 30 to 60 minutes... There is a line on every corner .. I see that they put some entertaining items to watch or read or even to talk photos with while waiting in the line..They take photo for you and make some editing on it. Then while exiting you will have it printed out for you. But it will cost you $40 which I see that it is too expensive...When you finish your tour upstairs, be ready for another long line to take the elevator down...Then you will be directed to souvenirs shop.There is a couple of cafes and restaurants up there if you want to grab some snacks..The overall experience was nice

It was a nice place. 45 dollars to enter. I think it's a little high considering there isn't much to look at there. There's a queue to go in, the staff are helpful and courteous, you go up in a elevator and you get to see the view, there's a chance to go up further for extra 10f dollars. There's a viewing room(cinema). You get to see the city of Toronto from a high level. There's a private restaurant at the top. I didn't go in. But there's a public dining area as well, you can get tea, coffee, wine, burgers, pastries and other stuff. I had a good time overall and the view was amazing. You get your photos taken before you go in and you can choose to pay another 30 dollars to collect them lol 😂 (I chose not to) had loads of photos on my phone anyways.There's a gift shop at the ground floor where you can buy souvenirs like key chains, flags, snow globes, t-shirts, mugs etc.Go with friends or family. It's more fun that way.

This was terrifying and exhilarating all at the same time! We went up the tower at night which was amazing! Makes you feel quite insignificant when you see how huge Toronto is and how large the buildings are. We paid extra to go higher up to get an even better perspective of the scale of the buildings. Managed to stand on the glass floor and look out of the full length windows. Grabbed a quick snack at the cafe before heading back down. Staff were very accommodating about me being claustrophobic and let the three of go in the lift alone. ( they said this may not be possible in summer as it's so busy) beautiful gift shop on the ground floor. This cost around £150 dollars for 2 adults and a child.

I took a combo offer for CN towers and Ripley aquarium online. If you don't book online you have to stand in huge queue and wait for long time for your slots. Better to prefer morning slot as time goes the slot will keep delaying. Really long queue and wait time ( so book your ticket and go 30 mins early) if you go too early also they won't let you go in .

I don't really care for walking tours, I find them quite boring and this made it no different. The views are amazing tho. I paid extra for the glass walk which was a waste of money, you aren't missing anything special.What made my experience worthwhile was the very sweet down to earth employee I met there. She captured everything I love about Canadians.

Love the CN tower. One of my favorite touristy spots to show around when friends and family come to visit. Great views of the Lake on one side and the downtown on other side. Also able to view the Billy Bishop airport with planes landing there often. Prefer to go during the night time to soak in the City lights but great views during the day time as well. Would recommend buying tickets online instead of standing in the line there.

This is a hugely overpriced tourist trap.We paid 190CAD for 2 adults and 2 children to go up an elevator to watch the view. And then to go up another elevator to watch the view from a bit higher.I mean I could read the reviews beforehand and watch online videos and it is definitely my fault that I went there so my bad.But you should beware about what this is.The kids did enjoy it. It is cool to watch the view. It is cool to stand on the glass floor looking down. But the price should be like one fifth at most.In case you have a lot of money and don't care, you should buy the tickets online but do it right there before entering so you can chose the correct time of entry (the tickets are timed). Choose the earliest time it lets you (even if it is already 10 minutes later) so that you can enter the earliest.

Terrific! You should definitely take the trip up to the viewing platform. The view and the feeling are indescribable. We bought a CityPASS beforehand and reserved our visit using the app. Everything online and easy. Inside the tower is also a gift shop and washrooms.

Amazing views from the CN Tower over the city of Toronto and beyond. Spent a few hours at the top of the tower, all the staff on different levels were extremely kind and helpful. There is a restaurant where you can have food or just drinks and continue enjoying the wonderful sights across Toronto and Lake Ontario. This is definitely a must do attraction to visit whilst in Toronto.

I was literally speechless at the majesty of the CN Tower in Toronto. The experience was amazing from start to finish. The fast, modern elevator took us to the top in the blink of an eye, and the view from the observation platform was breathtaking.We were lucky to visit during a sunset, and the warm light that bathed the city was simply magical. I was able to take some spectacular photos that will be treasured memories. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing interesting information on the history and architecture of the tower.Not only was the viewing experience incredible, but the dining plan was also excellent. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with a panoramic view of the city. I highly recommend anyone visiting Toronto to put the CN Tower at the top of their list of attractions to see. I can't wait to go back!

The place is absolutely amazing. The view from the observation deck and the glass floor is pretty cool. The staff was very friendly. I love that they have a kidzone for the children. I would recommend to try the Edge walk just once.

This iconic place is a must visit here.I found very convenient the possibility of having dinner at their restaurant and paying for that instead of buying a ticket to just go up.But if you get a regular ticket you can also buy food and drinks at the observation floor. There is also the option of bringing your own food, which is great, because once up there you can stay as long as you want and there is plenty of room to sit and enjoy.Just notice that the exterior observation area is still under maintenance so you can't access there.Great experience!Note: if you want to enjoy the view from the tower without being there, go to their website and check the live cameras view, just amazing!

One of the most touristic spots in Toronto. There is a wonderful view of the city from the top. Really beautiful. You go up to the top with the elevator, which is very fast. At night, the tower is illuminated and it is nice to observe it even from afar. It is usually very crowded, so you can expect a long queue, approx. at least an hour. There is also a souvenir shop in the tower. You can also walk on the glass floor, which is very exciting.

We visited 25/05/2023.We booked as a last minute thing to do while we were in the city and they had plenty of tickets still available for the day. Everything was easy getting in, showing tickets, and going through security. The views from the top were amazing, and the day we went was relatively quiet up there so we could enjoy the views. It was lovely seeing Toronto Island Park from the top, seeing the planes taking off, and the views of Toronto city itself.Not a bad price for the experience either. We really enjoyed it and would recommend a visit if you visit the city.

Interesting spot to get to view Toronto from above. Ideal to visit on a sunny/partly cloudy day to be able to see and identify all the buildings. We booked the tickets in advance and stayed there for 30 minutes. There are toilets and dining options in the viewing area and there’s also a 360 view restaurant at the top.Don’t miss out the glass floor section! Ask anyone to lead you to it.

I would highly recommend getting a reservation at the restaurant, especially if you like seafood. I had an appetizer with trout and a main with salmon and they were both excellent and very filling. You can watch the scenery go by a whole 360 degrees as you eat because it spins around slowly. Great views! If you are scared of heights you should be fine in the restaurant, just close your eyes on the elevator ride up and down!

It's definitely better in the daytime than the night. If you only have the option of night, it is still worth the admission.The sky box is worth the 10 dollar ticket for the views. Pictures are better from the? main platform.Winds calm when I was there. I don't think I would go up the sky box if the wind are high.Check the ticket options on the web first, but you can get walk up tickets. You need to go through the security check first.

Definitely an experience to have, it was exciting and fun to see the tower and the history along with it. A beautiful monument in our Canadian history.There are currently renovations underway so there were some areas blocked off & the pods that go up higher into the needle were non-operational due to the renovations.Admission is $45 (Adult) - $32 (Senior) - $19 (Child) with the option of the Edge walk experience. You can walk around 360 views while seating and food are available. You can see a lot of information regarding the history of the building and everywhere it's clean. Viewing spaces including the elevator up and a glass viewing platform where you can see the height of the tower. There is also the 360° restaurant you can dine in, however due to the high popularity you will need to make a reservation to dine there. If you do dine at the restaurant while viewing you only need to spend $75 on your meal. Lastly there are places including the elevator up and a glass viewing platform where you can see the height you are travelling and arrive at.

My friend recommended visiting the CN Tower, and I'm so glad I listened! The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the visit. The views from the observation deck were absolutely stunning, especially on a clear, chilly day. It was the perfect weather to take in the city's panorama. Highly recommend!

A perfect place for day outing. You can take the ferry from downtown and reach the island in 10 minutes. The island has few café, barbeque areas, playground for kids, fast food restaurants and gorgeous beach. There is a gigantic lighthouse on the island. The best way to explore the island is by foot but one can also get the bike rentals. I usually ride my bicycle around the island and it feels very good. The spectacular view at the night of the city skyline is breathtaking. Weekends are busy try to visit on weekdays. The panoramic view of the city is worth the watch.

A beautiful place to explore during the summer! Full of parks, beaches, and activities to do. Really enjoyed the 4-person biking around the entire island! Also great to just chill and relax by the water. Highly recommend!

It's a great place to visit during a sunny weather. It has plenty of areas for picnics, multiple beaches for swimming, and a few landmarks, such as Gibraltar's lighthouse. There's also an amusem*nt park for kids, a small animal farm, and a couple of restaurants. Beware of the pricey food however; it's better to bring your own. All three islands (Centre, Hanlen's, and Ward) are connected to each other. It's best to traverse it using a bicycle (you can rent or bring your own), as it gets tiring after long walks. It's better to arrive and depart from either Ward or Hanlen's, as Centre Island is the most crowded out of the three, unless there's something specific in Centre Island that you'd like to visit first. Using a water taxi is worth the few extra bucks. You can return to the mainland using the ferry for free.

Love this place, the ambience is always pleasant and the views are beautiful. We went on the long weekend of Queen Victoria and I do not recommend it, definitely better to avoid long weekends, during this weekend the waiting times even for the water taxi was way too much, the ferry was taking way too long and the lines were insane. The washrooms lines were also very long. Not worth going on a long weekend but other than that this place is beautiful!

The park is very simple but it’s more than enough for one that is in Toronto. There’s a lot of spaces to do picnic, but you must bring your own food because there are limited options here. Bring your own water as well. There were a lot of people. The ferry heading there and back was full. It was an OK day trip.

This is a must visit spot in Toronto!!!! Do visit here in the summer it’s really beautiful. There are three islands where the ferry will take you. I would recommend to start from the Center Island as it has the most frequent ferries going.There are multiple food spots all around the island. Activities like cycling, canoeing, boating can be found on various locations! Make note that you will need to walk a lot if you are planning to see the whole place at once.Also, if you are not interested in night skyline views make sure to leave before 7. We had to wait an hour for the last ferry to pick us up. And trust me it was crowded at the end!! But overall it’s an amazing place to spend time on a good summer weekend.

Toronto Island is one of my favorite places in this city that has so many attractions. Getting to the island is easy, you can use the ferry that leaves every 30 minutes and holds a large number of people, or make use of the taxi boats, which leave according to their capacity. Both have staff to assist people with disabilities, especially wheelchair users and families with baby carriages.The ferry has restrooms, unlike taxi boats which are open (the ferry has restrooms for people with disabilities). The ferry currently costs an average of 10 Canadian dollars and the return is free and taxis cost an average of 12 Canadian dollars.The island has a great structure for barbecues, picnics, games with children, in addition to the structure of the amusem*nt park (toys are paid). The island still has some swings spread across several areas and the splash area.There are snack bars and pizzerias scattered around the island, as well as cars and ice cream stands. During spring and summer, many events usually take place (on these days it is worth arriving early and leaving early, due to the queue for the ferry). The structure has restrooms spread across several points, male and female, in addition to family restrooms and bathrooms adapted for the disabled.A tour that can't be missed by those who live in Toronto and by those who are on a tour.

Beautiful parc, where you can spend literally whole day and you won’t be bored. There’s an amusem*nt park on the island - we weren’t there, but I think that’s a nice place for children. You can take a nice walk, rest on the grass - nice spot to plan a picnic there. There’s a beach and the pier. You can rent a bike. There’s also a beautiful view over Toronto. For me this place is magical, so peaceful an a great place to rest, even to go there alone and enjoy the nature.

One of the must see places in Toronto. You can take a boat or ferry to the island. We took the boat for cad 12.50 when we went and we used the free return ferry on our way back. It would save time if you check the ferry time in advance. The ferry ride was simply awesome.The view of Toronto skyline from here is amazing. You get the best picture of Toronto from here in my opinion. You should also take the photo from the ferry.The island has a park for the kids, beach with lifeguards service, yacht docking station, etc there. The place is maintained really well. They have neatly maintained washrooms too.It is a good place to bring the kids and also a great place to have a group outing too. The park there is a good place for kids to enjoy.There are swans, ducks, etc too in the water.However, I was cautioned by others about the rush on long weekends. I really liked the island!But it was absolutely not cool to have to wait about 40 minutes for the ferry (in the cold). There were many people waiting. They were limiting the ferry to 50 people because they were short-staffed.

One of my favourite places in Toronto to visit! The island is packed with stunning sights of flowers, trees and various little animals that hang around in every corner. The park is well built to accommodate visitors of all types and their needs.There’s lots to do there, from swimming at the beach to having a picnic. The island is also bicycle friendly so look out for the rental at the end of the walk!The best way to come is by boat, there’s one that goes every 30-60 mins or so. A benefit t taking the boat at the scenic views of the cities skyline. Make sure to stay until sunset to get the best pictures possible from the park. By the time you wait for the boat it’ll be nightfall which is also the best time to take a look at the skyline with the building lights glowing.

Such an interesting store. 2 floors with 3 -4 rooms each level of just random odds and ends. Craft items, kitchen supplies, kids toys and games and even old nostalgic candies and paraphernalia. If you're east Aurora, definitely make time to visit this old five and dime!

Vidler's is a really cool store that's stayed open. I don't know many other stores like it, so I'm glad to see that it still has a lot of business. There is truly everything in that place, I love all the odd knick knacks and all the candy too. You shouldn't have a plan of what to get in the place, you should just wander around and you'll surely get something useful or fun.

So much!!! This is a great "bucket-list" place. The store is so over stocked ( but in a VERY neat way) with not only nostalgic goods, but those unusual hard to find things, you didn't know you needed. P.S. Walk the street. East Aurora is a wonderful place to visit.

Exploded gift shop with a cooky sign. The interior is labyrinthine, with each room vaguely themed by types of products. Toys, office supplies & phone accessors, cards, novelty items, leather and sewing, doll crafts, kitchen & bath accessories, etc. Two floors of gifts and crafts. Staff are nice.

Love finding nostalgic candy and toys. I always buy at least one candy item when I leave here. Brings back so many memories. There are a lot of amazing and different items throughout the store. Nicnacs for all the seasons. Have to come here at least once a year. Love that it was used in a movie.

Wow what a fun place. So much to look at. You could definitely spend a few hours walking around looking at everything. When my wife and I were there they were filming what we thought was a commercial. I found out the next day it was actually a hallmark movie. If you are in the area you wouldn't be disappointed if stopping by even if it's just for the old time candy section.

Viddler's is a very cute store. Love all the candies. I can see why the storefront has been in many Hallmark movies.

It was amazing!!! They literally had everything and anything you could think of. Especially if you love cooking or baking foods. If not they had plenty of other things like purses or super cute baby items. My personal favorite is the amount of toys they have for kids and old boardgames that reminded me of my childhood. I must say I'm very impressed! Absolutely love the soup bags that have all the spices and everything you need in them.

Kind of like if Walmart, Hallmark, and the Dollar Tree had a baby. Lots of items encompassing 4 buildings and 2 floors- they have decor, craft items, kitchen items, toys, candy, and a little bit of everything else. Lots of cash registers so you will have a quick and easy checkout. Definitely an experience!

I live in niagara county, so we decided to make a drive over to vidlers . The place is huge with everything you could think of from kitchen stuff to christmas stuff to kids toys and old fashioned candy . The only thing is they are expensive . We spent 3 hours there and spent hundreds of dollars . It was a nice drive and we would go back

Oh it's a staple on Main Street you know the old five and dime like people you mean dime a dozen or an ex-wife she'll spend a quarter to save a $0.05 piece Yes I don't believe people were created equal for a reason

As a longtime East Aurora resident, Vidler's never gets old! I recently was able to bring my new family for their first visit, and they can not wait to return!

This is an amazing store with two floors of nostalgic and old fashioned charm! There is something for every room in your home and for everyone you know. So much like an Woolworths from decades ago on a more personal scale. It felt like a step back in time. The store is arranged in a very sweet and pretty way with the sections and different rooms containing certain items. Love the wood finishing, red and white stipes and the bins and display boxes with various treasures! Got a present for my daughter's teacher and plenty of ideas for other important people! We will be coming back soon to do our holiday shopping! Love how they have the children's fun stuff on the top floor.

We enjoyed the basic tour (2 options avl: basic is 75 minutes and premium is 120 minutes). We didn't ask what the difference between the 2 tours was, but since 75 minutes fit into our schedule, we chose it. It was an interesting tour and the tour guides were quite knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I would like to view the gardens in late spring or summer as the grounds appear to be meticulously maintained. We visited on April 1(too early for blossoms) and it was snowing and quite windy. Photos are only permitted while OUTSIDE or inside the conservatory. No photos allowed inside the house whatsoever. A short (8 minute) and informative movie started off the tour that provided a background on the relationship between Wright and Martin. The attention to detail and design of the home was exclusively Frank Lloyd Wright, including the furniture throughout the home. There were many references to the rather large basem*nt which was supposedly used for some entertaining, however, that is only viewable with the premium tour. In our opinion, the basem*nt should be included in the basic tour since it is referenced throughout the basic tour. At the very least, it should be identified in advance of purchasing your ticket so as a consumer you are aware of that option and make an informed decision. Very clean reception area, well maintained restrooms and friendly staff.

Touring the Martin House was a fantastic experience. I did the 2 hour tour on a beautiful spring day. It was very informative and nice to visit the upstairs. It was hard to believe it was designed and built in the Victorian era. A VERY highly recommended tour.

We did not take the full tour but had a look from outside. We went for a short visit and did not have time to wait until tour started. I wish if we can buy tickets and have a look inside on our own pace rather than spending a lot of time following a tour guide.

Wonderful tour of an amazing house. The neighborhood is gorgeous. The property is pristine. Breath-taking details. Captivating stories about it's journey.

It’s was a nice little tour, it lasted about a hour and a half, we toured the front of the house and then the first floor and a few rooms upstairs and then the conservatory. I really wanted to tour the whole house for the price I paid. But nonetheless this is Frank Lloyd Wrights design so I’m not surprised. The grounds were well kept and our guide knew her stuff. I enjoy touring estate homes and this one did not disappoint.

They offer two tours. The 70 minute tour is only the main house. The 2 hour tour is of all of the buildings. If I had realized that we would have taken the 2 hour tour. The house is in a residential area, so be sure to arrive in plenty of time to find parking and walk to the house. It is interesting and the building has many original pieces of furniture designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The history of the Martin family explains why the house was designed the way it was. Unfortunately, when you go upstairs you only get to see part of the house. It would have been nice to see more. You can only take pictures in specific areas, mostly outside. Nice gift shop with beautiful items.

Took the 75 minute docent led tour of the home. He was so well informed on the main things you'd expect to learn, yet the small details he wrapped in made it a really neat experience. Going online to get tickets is needed, I'd do so as far ahead as possible. My friends and I found ourselves wishing we'd been able to take the 2hr tour; unfortunately it was sold out.

Beautiful construction, magnificently designed. The staff were so nice and very informative, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work their. They were incredibly nice to us as let us take care of our young son who was with us and walk around the garden to calm him down. They truly cared about making our experience a nice one.

The Martin House was BEAUTIFUL!!! If you love different in architecture you will love this home!! Take a tour with a docent... we took the 1.25 hour tour and saw the house, conservatory and the carriage house and I was really impressed with it all. I would love to live in this house but I would never leave it!!! From the stained glass windows to the 8 miles of woodwork, this house is just amazing!! Don't miss it when in Buffalo!!!

Amazing house and it’s very well preserved. I took the basic tour at it lasted around 1.5hrs. You can ask as many questions as you want and the tour guides are very good experts in Wright’s architecture. Take the tour, is the only way to go inside the house. Indoor photos are not allowed. There is a 10 min video presentation at the begging that really helps understanding the historial context of the house. Take time after the tour to look around the house and see some cool old houses in this historical neighborhood.

Great experience at Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House! . Wright's architectural genius is well explained both on the tour and by the movie at the beginning of the tour. The tour also gives the history of the home and the home's owner Darwin D. Martin.Did the 75 minute tour which takes you both inside and outside the house. Once inside the house each room is explained in great detail. The most interesting parts of the house are probably the conservatory and the sunrise fireplace. As with most Frank Lloyd Wright houses the furniture design is second to none. The barrel chair and bookshelf are the most memorable furniture designs in the house.Gift shop was good, some items were over priced, but they had a lot to choose from. Be sure to purchase a ticket online in advance. They do offer a few different tours. Photography is not allowed in most parts of the house.If you have been to other Frank Lloyd Wright houses and not yet seen this one, it should be added to your list!

One of Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpieces in architecture, known as Prairie style, which aims to be organic, making it part of its environment and trying to blurr the transition from the nature outside to the living areas inside. Beautiful inside and out, superb gardens. Enjoy!

This 100+ year old home is a must see if you visit buffalo. Our two hour was incredibly detailed and very informative. A truly beautiful piece of American history perfectly preserved.Thank you for a fantastic afternoon

Oh my God, where do I start? Our tour guide is very informative. We did the least expensive tour, wish we did the 2-hour tour. The pain staking restoration of this piece of art Architecture is magnificent! Thank you to the craftsman, the artisans, and the backers for saving this for future generations. The design, the eyelines, the thought and design going into even a narrow nearly hidden window encompasses the brilliance in Frank Loyd Wright's design in Martin House. If you are on the fence to see this home, jump over Nd come in. You will not regret it.

What a treasure! This was my first FLW project to visit and I’m pretty sure the bar has been set. The information center is incredibly well designed with plenty of information.The tour is fantastic and well worth the price of entry. The Docent was kind and knowledgeable.Then the house itself is nothing short of a masterpiece. The crown moulding woodwork is incredible, the art windows are perfect, the tiling is brilliant. The “flow” of the home is unique and offers moments of intimacy and awe. Well ahead of its time.I wish I could have taken photos inside, and I would have loved to explore the basem*nt, as I’d wager there might be some hidden creativity there as well.100% a must see for any art and design lover.

Excellent tour and facilities. How little Frank Llloyd-Wright cared about the people who lived in, used, the houses he designed never ceases to amaze me. Martin's wife was legally blind and there is not one thing about this house design that is sentient if her experience. It's classic Frank, clever, pedantic, beautiful, and all about Frank's aesthetician over comfort or use. On a bright day they had all the lights on - because his aesthetician is a terrible use of natural light. Fascinating!

This was my first time visiting. I was very impressed with the complex. The 75 minute tour was well worth it. It was worth traveling for. The detail that went into the design of the house is breathtaking. It was encouraging to see the efforts of this group to restore this house to what it was like over 100 years ago. Loved the tree of life stained glass. The detail that went into this place was better than some of the other FLW houses I have been to. If coming to Buffalo this has to be on the list to visit.

We went on the shorter 75 minute tour and it was fantastic! Both Eileen and Paula did an excellent job telling the stories of this beautiful home. The tour starts with a 9 minute video about the history of the Martins, Wright, and the building of this house. There is a cafe and a gift shop on site that sold lots of Frank Lloyd Wright merchandise that can be found at all of his other homes. We have a NARM membership so the two of us were able to get in for free! Well worth a visit if you’re in Buffalo.

A wonderful walk through the past visions of amazing architecture from a man who was a great artist and designer.the attention to detail of everything you could possibly think of.the use of wood and brick blends together perfectly.a must see if you are in the area.

You get to walk around inside an artistic masterpiece. If you are bored or don’t see the incredible beauty in the design, craftsmanship and restoration then you might like a trip to Walmart or McDonald’s better.

Amazing rehabilitation to the tune if $50M+! We took the shortest tour- 1hr 15 min. The tour starts in the new building (award winning architecture itself) with a quick film and then a walk though the first and second floors of this historic creation of Frank Lloyd Wright, one of his earliest projects that helped catapult him to the fame he attained as a premier American architect. Absolutely beautiful rehabilitation and detail.

This is a nice little zoo! Many animals to be seen with the most unique being the two polar bears! Easy to get around and see everything in about 2-3 hours. Most animals were outside. Some animals were exhibited inside. The rainforest exhibit was perhaps the best of the indoor exhibits.With all the good things the zoo has going for it, it does need some updating. The zoo's elephant house, houses a rhino? Some of the spaces provided for the animals should also be much larger. The zoo is right near Delaware park, I think it should be expanded a little so the animals could have more room. Some of the zoo's buildings were built in the 30's and could be renovated to boost their appearance.Parking was easy and fairly reasonable. Gift shop was well stocked. Staff was helpful and friendly.

First time at this zoo and I will most definitely be returning again. It had a nice variety of animals, including tigers, lions, giraffes, a polar bear, meerkats, and rhinos. Zoos I have visited before usually don’t have an employee there educating you on some facts about their animals. So it was a nice surprise when there would be a zookeeper there talking about the animals and some even had carts with casts of the animals’ skulls and fur so you could touch and feel them.We went on a Saturday and while it took a bit to buy the tickets (so would recommend to buy them ahead of time) the rest of our visit wasn’t too crowded. We were able to get a good view on all the animals.Would also like to add that the bathrooms were clean. There seemed to be one in every corner so that was awesome with my 4 yo. Love how there were family restrooms as well.Got a black bean, mushroom and Swiss veggie burger from the food court. 10/10.Overall great experience.

I'm always torn about seeing animals in captivity, but it was a good opportunity to speak to the kids about preservation.The zoo has the usual slightly over priced restaurant and gift store. 😏 Also has periodic shows throughout the day, so check the website for times before you visit.We went on a Sunday, and parking was plentiful, and we only waited a couple of minutes to get in.Overall, a pleasant experience...

So much fun at the Zoo Imagination experience. On Saturdays the cost is $19.95 for adults. Lots of interactive art displays, incredible colors, as well as education to go with the art. There is a beer tent, snacks and gifts. Most animals are not out but we did see a sleeping polar bear, eagles and a mountain goat.....

My family and I went to the Buffalo Zoo on a Monday and it was fairly quiet (It was a nice sunny/cool day) but I don't think it was fully open for the season yet. No lineup to get in since it was a Monday.Some exhibits and food/snacks stations weren't open. We weren't able to feed the goats sadly.My 11 y.o. daughter enjoyed seeing all the mammals, birds, reptiles and insects.

This was the first time we have come here and it was perfect. We had 3 under 8 kids with us and it was exactly big enough to see everything and not miss out. Lots of different animals and the way information was presented was easy to understand and engaging.

This zoo is alright. We came on Christmas Eve, and it was basically a ghost zoo. Some animals like the rhino and elephants were not out because it was too cold. The polar bear was definitely not doing so well.... Waking around in circles and swinging its head... Signs of mental issues and boredom. Same goes with the tigers. The reptiles and amphibians were the coolest part.

Very nice zoo! We traveled here from Texas and really enjoyed the different animals than what we have in our zoo! Seeing a Polar bear was super cool! Several animals we have seen before, but the exhibits are easy to get through and we're very clean.

we love the zoo!!! there’s always enough entertainment between all of the exciting exhibits and events at the zoo that we are happy to come back! the zoo is an important educational institution for the city and it’s critical that the public , especially children , are still afforded the opportunity to go to places like this! it’s hard not to spend the rest of your day once you’re there!! This 3rd oldest zoo is small, but full of animals too are and learn about. Don't forget to enjoy keeper talks and the Avian Odyssey!I'd love to see the zoo get more space but I don't think that will happen.You can bring your own snacks too!

I'm editing my review from 4 stars to 5. What's the difference? Well I'm now a mom to a 5 year old and really appreciate the size of this zoo and the exhibits they bring in annually. Great size for small kids (takes 3 hours max), love the animals (polar bear, giraffe, big cats!), and just an easy day. Easy to find, easy to park, just effortless compared to larger places like the Toronto Zoo. The kids who work throughout were knowledgeable and great too. What a fun day.

This is a small zoo and I took my sweet time going through it. In all it took me a leisurely 2.5 hrs. I didn't eat or have children with me. The komodo dragon exhibit was down for maintenance and in all the animals looked sad and unengaged in their habitats which message me a little sad. 21-25$ to enter. Parking costs up to 12dollars for more than 2 hrs-debit/credit only for parking! There is also a souvenir/gift shop.

Very small zoo that makes fairly good use of its space, although there are some central open portions that could have been used to increase some exhibit sizes. Scenery was lacking in comparison to other larger zoos, but for the size and younger target audience, the zoo is acceptable.

Small older zoo but still unique and interesting. Went on a Sun in Jan and still was able to see most of not all the animals. The big cat area was cool to be able to see them up close from inside, but the rainforest area was the best. Very warm despite the outside temp. Good place too walk around for a couple of hours.

I went on a weekday and it wasn't crowded at all. In fact, there wasn't even a line going in. The animals all had unique personalities and were so fun to look/interact with. I wish the otters had been out. I went back a few times but they must have been inside or hiding. To be fair, it was blistering outside. I was amused that the polar bears were the most active outside in the scorching sunlight.The zookeepers were all very helpful. We especially enjoyed the gem/fossil station. It was definitely a family favorite.

Beautiful zoo!It had several backdrops throughout the zoo for beautiful pictures. While it isn't the biggest, it was just right to explore in a couple of hours. It made for a great road trip from Niagra Falls.

This zoo was a lot bigger than I expected. For like $18 you get a good size zoo that you can walk around for a few hours or more. Plenty of animals were out. I took off a star because that parking is horrendous. It took us awhile to find a parking spot and it wasn’t even close to the entrance. I still recommend coming here though.

Animals in concrete pens, in their feces and urine. Is this respectful? Is this conservation? Is this humane?It looks like a correctional facility for individuals whose only crime was to be born a wild animal. It’s time for zoos to become rehabilitation centers to teach new generations kindness and respect. Enough of “bread and circuses”. Animals deserve better. And our children do as well. Enough of this superficial appeasem*nt under the guise of education unless the lesson is “might is right”.

Great visit. Animals were active and up-close. Saw many unique animals such as Sand Cat, Canadian Lynx, and many others. See pictures. My aunt who lives in the area, first visit in over 10 years was impressed how much the zoo has grown.

Visited on a Saturday morning. Parking was simple. The zoo is well laid out. We especially enjoyed the polar bear and the lions. 2 lionesses and 4 cubs were out for a while. Then 2 males came out and They were roaring back-and-forth with the females and cubs. Of course they also have some bisons.

Family of four 2 adults and 2 children. Parking was free ...today ...Purchased a family yr membership for 110.00$ ( gives discounts at other zoos!!!!) Two visits is more than that and you'll want to come back! Animals seemed well cared for. Some construction at the entrance made it a little cumbersome to navigate around. Early spring weather was overcast 60 degrees. A few exhibits were under construction. Did not interact with many employees. Spent 3 hours here and still could have spent more. There was a few of the typical food choices pizza burgers fries ck fingers etc. popcorn cotton candy dipping dots for snacks around the park. Animals were aging a little. I didn't even get to the the giraffes because you know ...toddlers. Front the arctic circle , to the African savannah , the mountains of Asia and the rainforest of south America almost all 7 continents..the only thing missing are elephants and penguins....Lions tigers polar bears gorillas buffalo bison ( 716 Lets Go ) reptiles and much more! Not sure who had more fun dad or the kids. Will be back for sure

It was a very enjoyable afternoon. I've been to many other zoos before, but this was my first visit to the Buffalo zoo. This one is a diamond in the rough. There's a lot to see and experience, but they definitely need to upgrade the facility and freshen the presentations.

Such a great experience! All the cages and facilities were very clean! The Staff was very polite! The lady in the Rainforest was knowledgeable and the cashier from Buffalo Burger was awesome. Food prices were steep but all in all it was a great time. We will be back!

The zoo has really improved since the last time I visited a few years ago. The display art of flowers, insects, etc is really beautiful, I would love to see it at night. The indoor exhibits were great, the bird show was nice and there are lots of activities for children. And they do give a military discount.

A good local zoo, but you shouldn't travel from a distant city! many aviaries were under reconstruction and many locations are still preparing for the season

The Buffalo Zoo is a fun and educational place to see a variety of animals and plants. I loved seeing the majestic lions, tigers, and snow leopards; the intelligent chimpanzees and red pandas; the exotic komodo dragon, sea turtles, and zebras; and the adorable goats and cows. The zoo also has a reptile house with snakes and frogs, a bird house with eagles and other birds, and an Arctic Edge exhibit with polar bears and mountain deer. The zoo also offers a carousel ride and a kids tattoo art station for extra entertainment. The Buffalo Zoo is a must-see attraction in Buffalo, NY.

We arrived in chilly autumn afternoon. We did not have to wait as it was the off season and the park was not fully of many people. Even so we got to see plenty of animals that were spectacular to see. The enclosures seemed clean and the animals appeared happy. The lions even put on a show for us roaring and playing with each other. I highly recommend going when you get the chance

This is an amazing art museum. The encyclopedic collection is beauty presented and thoughtfully curated.I especially enjoyed the new addition. The spaces are expansive, thoughtfully contemporary, and wonderfully lit.The gift shop associates are welcoming and the gallery attendants very helpful. Overall guest experience here is top notch 👍.Go for the stroll through the new wing... stay and get lost in a Rothko or people watch in the airy sculpture court.

It's one of the must visit museum if you are into modern arts. Few of the artifacts are mesmerizing especially the morgenthau plan painting. I attended the museum when they were having $5 for the family. They have it one day Every month what a lucky day to be there.The tour was informative it's amazing to know the stories behind the art.

Beautifully redone museum. The brand new wing was delayed in opening but the refurbished section and new entrance show the time and effort put into the project. A must see and n Buffalo. Make sure to schedule enough time to enjoy the wonderful collection.

Great museum with friendly staff! While I was disappointed that the works by Nam June Paik and Tony Conrad were not on display, the rest of the museum was fantastic. Organized very nicely and the staff seem to actually know what they're talking about and care to be there, whereas in other museums I've found the staff unhelpful and miserable. Very welcoming. There's a nice LEGO installation for children as well, if you are bringing any.

Very nice art museum with a great inventory. Many pieces of art from both renowned artists and artists I never heard of before. Unfortunately as of this review, the new building that they had been working on for years was not open. It will be opened towards the end of July from what I could gather. They gave us free entrance passes to return when the new building opens.I am happy I got to finally visit this museum as it had been closed for my entire time in Buffalo. Would gladly return and would recommend to others.

Great experience, the place is very modern and the technology that they have used inside the building is also amazing. The items present in the museum are minimal but the infrastructure and the design gorgeous. Took some great pictures and loved the art in there.

The AKG has always been a 5 star art museum. It’s been over 20 plus years since I last visited, the new addition is gorgeous. Really blends seamlessly with the old and new. We didn’t have time for a full tour, but we were thrilled to learn that the atrium has no entrance fee and now includes the famed Mirrored Room”. This interactive piece has always been a crowd pleaser and it’s so great that so many more can now experience it. And it’s great they are ensuring it’s preservation as well. Believe me, it’s 1 min of wild fun. The outside grounds are great for a stroll and in a beautiful setting.

An eclectic mix of mostly modern art pieces. It is a bit smaller than some of the other comparable cities like Cleveland or Detroit, but what it lacks in size it adds in value. Personally, I love contemporary art and this place had a lot of that.It has a very beautiful addition to it that respects the classic architecture while creating a new and exciting building to house more gallery space.

Such a beautiful museum. Very interesting pieces of art. The day I went I didn't know it was their annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The admission was pay what you choose. They sang carols and we sang along and it was actually really fun. The rows of the auditorium sang a line of 12 Days of Christmas, one line per row and I liked that it was interactive. There is artwork outside the museum as well. As a Buffalo State College student you can get discounts to the museum.

It was super fun and the art was incredible! loved it. they have a very formal cafe that's a bit expensive but the food was great. The gift shop was super cute and had a ton of little gadgets that were affordable, although some were also a bit expensive.

The remodel is absolutely phenomenal. I am so in love with the new space. Mom and I attended during the opening week on a Friday. Wear comfy shoes, but the elevators are a welcomed addition. AKG has an excellent set of exhibitions, including works by African amercia and Native american artists and work by artists produced during the pandemic. I was thoroughly happy to see they have Clyfford Still back on display too. We didn't get over to the old Knox building, but I can't wait to go back. I could write a novella on the design features that I love, but you must simply see for yourself.

This is a great representation of what is to the world! The beauty in different aspects between arts and generations with different materials is well represented in this location. I recommend it to each and every person that comes and visit the city of Buffalo. It’s definitely wheelchair assessable and very accommodating to any persons need.

Great art museum with pieces from many famous names. Fair prices. Can spend a couple hours here wandering around. Lots of green space around the museum, makes for a great stroll.

It's been 10 years since my last visit which is far too long. But I was watching the construction and when I heard they completed the new addition I had to visit. First the building itself old and new is art, the architecture is always a combination of ancient rome meets modern day technologies. Let's start with the cafe with fresh made pastries that my boys absolutely loved. Onto the youth exhibit with the Lego room which was very interactive and got imaginations working. Then the mirror exhibit unfortunately leaving in January which left everyone with smiles and a great video. Onto the new addition which features 3 full floors of displays capped by a large piece that wraps around the basem*nts exit into the parking garage. I believe our visit lasted a total of 3 hours and the impact to keep a 5 year old and 8 year old engaged was a highlight. But no talked about enough was the absolutely fantastic staff. Everyone was not only friendly but knowledgeable and that placed the experience over the top. I was proud to see the improvements and after seeing the new vision I have to say this is a must go. I'm planning a fall trip just to see how the lights during the season change interact with the building and another trip after a heavy snow fall in winter. The way the architecture melds with the art and how it dances with the light is stunning. This was a treat.

The Buffalo AKG is a cool museum that has an impressive collection of art. The AKG has a wonderful layout and unique architecture. The building housing the older galleries were built in the early 1900’s and feature neoclassical designs. The buildings housing the newest galleries were completed in 2023 and feature modern looks. The museum is on the National Register of Historic Places.The museum has over 6,000 pieces that can be displayed. A sampling of many artistic styles can be seen throughout the museum. Great artists such as Van Gogh, Gaugin, Renoir, Homer, Pollack, Warhol, and Picasso have paintings featured here. A great collection of sculptures can be seen throughout the museum. Galleries are spacious and you can move at your own pace.The museum does offer tours throughout the day. Staff at the museum was friendly and helpful. Tickets for the museum can be purchased online. It is also easy to buy them in the museum. The museum has a parking garage which is easy to get in and out of. The AKG is on the edge of Delaware Park and if the day is good, try to take in the park as part of your visit.There is so much to enjoy at the AKG!

I was absolutely impressed and delighted during our last week's visit there. Beautiful blend of older and modern architecture, impressive collection of art, professional, very friendly staff, a very well-kept and maintained art gallery, and I can go on and on. We took the 11am complimentary tour offered, and we were privileged to have a "private" tour by the Docent Barbara (we were the only 2 people having the tour that day and that time of the day:). I highly recommend having a tour, and when you have a great docent like we had, it is even better. Thank you, Barbara! This was my first visit at AKG, but not the last. There are so many things to see, not too far from home, even if it is across the border.

A great art museum here in the city of Buffalo. Love the new expansion they have, especially the featured collection of all the art that was purchased or gifted while the museum was closed for renovation/the pandemic.

I loved the Albright Knox before the expansion, so i couldn't wait until they reopened again. It was worth the wait, i can't believe it took me almost 6 months to visit it. Besides all the art, the new buildings and sculptures are a must see.! They have programs for adults and children ( like art classes and events). There's a restaurant in the main building, but also a wine bar upstairs in a new building with live music that you can just sit and enjoy.I love the fact that they've brought back m&t 1st Fridays, when the admission is free or pay what you want. It took me a while to find steet parking, i completely forgot about their underground parking lot.

Fun for all ages! Great local art museum is easily accessible and parking is free on the street across Delaware Park.They also have garage parking and will validate your parking. Depending on how much you love art , expect to spend about 1.5 hrs-3hrs here. There are two cafes inside for tea and crumpets and sandwiches if staring at art makes your stomach growl in a very quiet room.😊

Amazing spaces, docent tours and art exhibits!! Well worth your time to visit. Check out the Julia Bottoms exhibit and look up red lining. You will be amazed at the depth of this artist.

Absolutely in love with the AKG! The architecture is stunning and love the layout/flow of the galleries. The staff were truly spectacular. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. My son asked about work by Mondrian and Picasso and the staff at reception marked the pieces on the map with ease. Amazed by how many paintings by the Greats -- quite a collection and of renaissance, contemporary, impressionists and sculptures. Parking underground was a breeze. Wonderful morning -- time well-spent!

I genuinely cannot describe how amazing my experience here was. The sights are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. There's so many little spots, it's pretty affordable (10-15 dollars for a days parking) as well as a trolley ride around the park for 3 dollars per person. I can't recommend this place enough, it was 100% worth the 4 hour drive.I was never a huge park enthusiast until I went here. I plan to go to other state parks because this kind of beauty genuinely is wonderful. The wildlife is pretty too. There's lots of squirrels, and the critters are friendly. One of them gave me a high five :)

It's really amazing to see how the state park is maintained considering this is one of the places on earth with a lot of footfall of tourists. The place is so huge and built without disturbing nature's beauty. Considering that the place was a mess with factories years back, the work done to design it in the way it is now is truly inspiring. Unbelievably GORGEOUS as always regardless of the season. The nature along with the scenery of the Niagara Falls is breathtaking. It is so beautiful that words cannot justify how incredible it is to explore the park. There's so much to do and see that 1 week here is just not enough. Regardless if you are exploring the Niagara Falls from Canada or New York side. It is a MUST visit in this lifetime. No videos or photos can capture all of its beauty, just plain God's masterpiece. ❤️

Many years we went to the Niagara falls on the Canadian side since it has the horse shoe portion of the falls. From the Canada side, we look to see the American Falls and often thought that we had it better on the Canadian side.We visited the Niagara Falls State Park for the first time today, and this park proved me wrong. This park shows the falls in all of their wonders. The walk along the river was awesome. The view of the Horseshoe fall was closeup, much closer than the Canadian side. The setting of the park in its natural surroundings blows my mind, at every turn, you can have one breathtaking view after the next. Our visit was in late winter, as the mist and cold water caused some discomfort, but they also allowed us to brave the cold and enjoyed the view as long as we could tolerate the inclement conditions.We would definitely come back when it is warmer. This is a much better angle to view the falls. I now can definitely say that this is a better side to enjoy the falls.

I went to Niagara falls in 2020 both winter and summer, This is one of the most amazing experiences in New York. The state park was clean and well maintained, and there are plenty of things to see and do in addition to marvelling at one of the wonders of the world.It sure is a natural wonder that is not to be missed! Nature really is mind blowing specially when you hear the sound of gallons of water going through rapids which such strength every second! We loved it and sure soaked in the beautiful scenery and the views of those gorgeous falls!At night time, there is a light show that goes on from 8pm to 2am. You see lights of different colors reflected into the Horseshoe Falls and these are seen by one of the sections close to the Cave of the Winds. You will love it and sure enjoy the experience!The Observation Tower is on the main area close to the town. If you stay in any If the hotels that are close by, the walk is about 8 to 10 min. Parking at the park is $10 (weekday) or $15 (Friday and weekends) in any of the 4 lots. There is a trolley that you can purchase tickets ($3) to take you from the island to the observation tower. Good option if you don't want to be walking around all day. The Observation Tower costs $1.25 and you can see both the Horseshoe Falls and American Falls. The Maid of the Mist boat trip and the Cave of the Winds are extra and you can do them separately or in a package. We saw people getting soaked, so be prepared to be wet!This is one of the other best experiences I had in the USA. see the beautiful Niagra Falls up close and personal. We were so blessed to be able to get the last boat tour of 2020. We were not aware of their schedules. So we were happy we went there at the nick of time. We stayed there until night time. We had a lot of pictures taken. Niagara Falls was powerfully beautiful. It was mesmerizing.

The park on the USA side is beautiful that they have preserved the area right up to the falls as a park. The Canadian side looks like they have commercialized it that there's no park there just sight seeing tours, views, things to do. Which they also have on the USA side, but the ,USA has a walking trail with wooded areas around the park. We saw several people riding bikes, scooters, etc... to get around. Some brought their pets and was taking photo opts with them. Others had family, children, or friends with them and were doing the same. We spoke to a man that was here visiting from Australia and said they walked across the bridge to see from the Canadian side and paid nothing on the USA side but to return to the USA side they had to pay 1.00 to get back. The fireworks were nice, the lights on the falls at night are nice, and the cooler evening with the mist of the falls on your face was a nice change to the hot days from home. We saw solid black squirrels, and other wildlife, cherry trees and mulberry trees there on the trails, and other natural beauties.

Yes, the American side is feels more nature-y when it comes to the Falls. The parking is more affordable at the state park. The state park was such a beautiful place to walk around. Perfect for a full day with a picnic lunch somewhere in the park. Lots of options! So many different views of the river and rapids from here; it is more than the falls alone. We visited here Day 2 of our trip and found it was the perfect addition to seeing the falls up close.

The park is maintained really well, super clean and during the summer, great grounds keeping. It's worth the trip of going through the park on foot. There are some great trails to explore. The views of the falls give you a unique view and a better up close view than on the Canadian side.

My aunt was visiting from NYC and she wanted to go to the Niagara Falls. We were there on Monday at around 4:30-5 PM.It was a beautiful afternoon and it wasn’t too crowded. We took many pictures and enjoyed the nice walk from the Main Island to Goat Island. They had plenty of restrooms and they were somewhat clean.By the time we were done walking, it was a little past 6 PM. We decided to stop at the gift shop on the way back to the parking lot, but they were closed! They had just closed at 6 PM. It was unfortunate because the window displays had cute items that we wanted to check out.I would visit this park again on a nice day. In the winter they block of the access area to the falls, but you can enjoy the views from afar. It also gets very windy and cold in this area during the winter.

Every minute spend here was worth it. It’s just beautiful to be here and when you go on ride if you are lucky you can witness rainbows. WHEN YOU ARE ON RIDE JUST STAND ANYWHERE NEAR RAILING AND WHOLE COMING BACK YOU CAN RECORD 360 VIEW OF THE PLACE BECAUSE THEY ROTATE THE WHOLE BOAT.Don’t not miss sunset and light show just after the sun set. It will be very windy out there so please wear full clothes.

The best way to observe the Niagara Falls up close while enjoying a nice and long hike back and forth to one of the parking lots near the horseshoe or the American falls. Otherwise you can park near one and then park near the other. Contrary to the outrageous parking fees charged on top of the hotel daily rates, on the streets or in parking lots on the Canadian side, parking on the Niagara Falls State Park is very affordable.The trail along the river through the park is beautiful. It has a metal grid fence that can be used as a banister, the pavement is smooth so it’s wheel chair accessible and there’s plenty of benches and rest areas to relax. Along the trail there are various attractions including the bridal veil falls, a statue of Tesla and a bridge where you can appreciate the ferocious current of the river before it reaches the Falls. Although only partial views of the Falls are available on the US side, the trade off is to hear the roar of the falls. It’s simultaneously mesmerizing and terrifying.

Plan your time so you can see the falls with the lights at night. The next morning we returned to enjoy the attractions. There are multiple overlook areas. Check out the paved hiking trail along the rapids leading to the falls. The water is roaring by it's so powerful and dangerous. If you are taking the trolley for the transportation, it will save time walking. But, if you want to hear the tour.......good luck. The speaker is not audible with everyone talking around you. Park is clean. Plenty rocks or benches to rest and take in the views. Be sure to pay admission to walk out on the deck which gives you a better look at all the falls. Still the Canadian side has the best views but suprised how much we enjoyed this side of the falls too.A huge expanse of natural beauty, this oldest state park in the U.S. offers biking, fishing and cross-country skiing, and contains plenty of hiking and walking trails, including the Niagara Gorge Trail System, which affords great views of both the falls and the gorge

One of my most favorite places to visit in the entire US. It is such a wonder of nature! Pictures and videos don’t do this place justice— one has to experience the sheer beauty and grandeur to truly appreciate it. I prefer the US side a lot more than the Canada side. The US side felt more like a park where they have tried to preserve the nature (trails to walk right up to the falls, places to sit in the park, birds and squirrels running around, etc.). Canada side appears to be a lot more commercialized.There are a lot of tours and activities available. Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds are highly recommended and are very reasonably priced. I would recommend getting a hotel as close to the Falls as possible so you can walk to the park instead of driving. Night views are fantastic and it’s really nice to spend time in the park after sunset. Fireworks were OK, the light show was more interesting.

Amazing waterfall that everyone should visit, but be prepared for crowds. We were there right at 9:00 and it was fine, but by the time we left at 10:00 there were lots of people and parking lots filling up. The park should do more to keep the place cleaner. Quite a bit of litter throughout.

This place is awesome. The views are totally worth the trip no matter how far it may be. I've been trying to come here for years. I'm glad I finally did. The waterfall area is absolutely amazing and peaceful. Photo taking places all over the place. It's definitely a wonder of the world. It's very, very busy and the parking is horrible and very expensive, 25-40 $. As well as the gift shops are expensive. Very very crowded all over the place top to bottom of the falls. Huge tourist attraction with a lot of people traffic and car traffic. Even with all that, it's still one of the best things I've ever seen as a waterfall.

Lots of wonderful places to take pictures and see the majesty of the falls! Plenty of places to sit and take a breather with all the walking, or grab a ride on the trolley to shuttle between the falls locations. Stay late to see the falls lit up at night and the small (5-10 minute) but very nice fireworks at 10! Worth seeing at least once.

Loved our visit. Kids were able to make buttons, and photo frames. Took a lovely guided tour and the tour guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Mist gets cold in November but it's beautiful seeing where it freezes.

If you are thinking of coming here, come. It’s so nice, well kept, plenty to do and you won’t regret it. There are stores and shops across the street. Plenty of walking areas with great views. The caves of winds is accessible through the park. Plenty of parking that’s only 10 dollars to get in. I can imagine it gets busy during the weekends and summer times but in Nov on a weekday it was lovely.

Awesome state park! Free to visit and if you like walking around it’s great as there’s tons of paths throughout. They have a good amount of bathrooms and water fountains around too. Felt like walking around a mini central park in new york. You can decent views of the falls from here, too. Dogs are welcomed on the pathways too which was quite fun.

I was told before going "yeah it's pretty, but it's boring" by a lot of people... then arrive and felt very unprepared! There was tons to do and see! Absolutely beautiful park, lots to do, very noticeably clean! It is absolutely breathtaking. Cannot wait to go back! Just note everything is cashless in the park.

I’ve been to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls many times since I was a kid and it was only this October when I finally visited the American state park for the first time. It certainly won’t be my last! The state park is a lot more natural and tranquil than the glitzy commercialization on the other side. Although the view of the falls might not be as full as the Canadian side, it is just as impressive as you can get much closer to it on the broken bridge, which can be accessed for free after hours. Goat Island is a great place for a walk. It was easy to find parking, albeit that was probably due to my visit being in the afternoon of a chilly late October day. The one issue, though, was the difficulty of finding public washrooms in the later afternoon, after the visitor centres had closed. Some portable washrooms would have been helpful.

Really amazing... it's gorgeousI hope I will come back in summer to see it again and also from the Canadian side. The only thing I didn't really like it was the activity (and online during winter) the activity give you a perfect view under the niagara falls but you need to pay $14 ... and in the summer it's the same price but you have way more access so its dumb to make us pay full price for a little portion...

This was a fantastic adventure, and probably our favorite experience at Niagara Falls (out of lots of awesome experiences). We spent two days at Niagara, and this stood out as the most fun we had there! You basically get to walk underneath Bridal Veil Falls, which is the smallest of the three waterfalls that make up Niagara Falls, but is still huge! They give you ponchos, but if you do it right, you'll still get SOAKED. Great fun!

BEST ATTRACTION ON THE AMERICAN FALLS! I come from Canada and we usually hear horrible stuff about the American side of the falls but this attraction changed my mind. You get crazy close and wet to the falls and you can spend as much time as you want there! Only 20 dollars as well! When I went, it was a pretty nice day but close to when they close. It meant that it wasn't that busy and we waited 0 minutes! This was a Sunday as well! They provide rain jackets for you and overall it's a must try experience!

Visited the Cave of the Winds over a weekend. The attraction is just so beautiful, we truly enjoyed it. There is an entry fee for all over 6 years which is not expensive for the experience. They have a small video presentation tell a story about the Hydro electric power plant and Niagara Falls role. Post that there is an elevator which takes you down to view the American Fall.The view is gorgeous.

This is the best attraction in Niagara in my opinion. There was a long queue when we visited. But the wait was totally worth it. This is perhaps the closest you can get to the falls. We carried our backpacks here without knowing that we would get drenched by the sprays. Nevertheless, a very refreshing experience.

Our family decided to do Cave of the Winds on a recommendation from staff at the Marriott we were staying at nearby. We're also all afraid of heights, and abandoned plans to do the Maid of the Mist after seeing the glass elevator tower you ride up and the bridge you have to walk across.Once you officially enter, your group piles into a room for a very quick history recap of the Niagara falls. Thankfully, this video is only about 5 minutes long and is entertaining so it will not bore the kids (or adults) with a history lesson.After exiting you walk through a tunnel and to an elevator, which takes you down to the base.This is all truly self-guided, you get whatever you want out of it. It can be as quick as you want it to be. We were in and out in about 20 minutes, took some great photos and videos at Hurricane Deck and got out. So glad we did this instead of the boat ride, I feel like you really got to feel the power and take in the beauty much more this way than viewing from a boat.

Amazing experience and not nearly as busy as I thought it would be. I loved the video they show before hand and the history of the falls. Be prepared to get wet. We came here first because I was worried about the lines, but many smart people went to Maid of the Mist first and brought that poncho since it is a little bit nicer. Must do experience if you are in the area.

Expect to get wet, unless you don't walk far outside the cave... The history lessons (video/signage) inside are really interesting. But the view and Feel of the Falls are worth repeating. If you prepare to get wet, the crashing water and gorgeous views are some of the cleanest and best you can have in nature.

While I still wholeheartedly believe the Canadian side of the Falls offers better views, this is hand-down one of the best experiences at Niagara. It’s amazing value for what you pay. Our experience started in a museum-like room with information on the history of the falls. I loved the interactive parts of it and we were soon let into a theatre where we watched a film summarizing the past, present and future of the falls. The theatre was quite amazing at displaying something I’d find boring in a book interesting through a multi-media display. There were physical frames and effects for things like lightning. Theexperience at the bottom is definitely what you want, though. It’s unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced and the walkway is well built to ensure you have a thorough tour and sufficient photo-ops. Absolutely must-do!

It was a cloudy, foggy day for a visit here. I’ve been to the States 1000+ times and never been the the American side of the Falls. But I finally made it there.It was pretty (but I like the view from Canada better). I will visit again on a nice day to do the walking trail & find out what the Cave of the Winds is all about.

We absolutely loved it. Summer and spring is probably the most busiest time of year. End of November is chilly and not many people. It was super quick to get in. Go into to y museum type area, then watch a 8 minute movie then take a 175 feet journey to the bottom of gorge and stand by falls. Great pics. Very interesting and breathtaking.

Amazing experience. I loved it so much.The cost is about $19 for adults and about $14 for kids. There was a line but it went quick. You are able to pick a time slot.Once you enter into the building there is a museum on the history of the falls and then you watch a small video about the waterfalls.You then will exit and get a poncho; that is when the real fun begins.There are stairs to go up and down. The further up the waterfall you climb; the more you will get wet. There is a section called hurricane and it is the most wind and water of the whole experience.Some tips are to wear the poncho from the maid of the mist (if you go to that experience first), wear shoes that are able to get wet (no socks), dress lightly, waterproof your cameras and/ or phones and most importantly have fun.*PS you will get soaked*

Extremely fun activity to do with older kids. You will get drenched on this walk, there is no way to avoid it. They have rubber guards down on the floor/steps but can still be slippery so watch your step. A great experience and a must while in Niagara Falls. They are currently open later than the time listed so always check on the official website.

Niagara Falls is truly breathtaking, but the experience of being in the Cave of the Winds takes it to a whole new level! It's an absolute must-do activity, and you shouldn't leave without experiencing it.You will get wet, even though they give you a yellow poncho, it will not keep you fully dry, especially your shoes, so wear clothes and shoes that can get wet (The stairs are steep and slippery make sure to bring a good pair of shoes), and overall, have fun! While the popular maid of the mist boat tour offers an amazing experience from the water, cave of the winds allows you to get up close to the Bridal Veil Falls by foot.They are no longer giving out sandals. Wearing proper footwear is a must as your foot will get wet no matter how careful you are. A poncho is however provided. Staying dry knee length upwards is possible if you are less adventurous and decide not to get too close to the falls. But for the best pictures with the Bridal Veil Falls, you will get slightly wet.The journey starts with a brief tour around a mini museum and a short show. While this is not the main attraction, I recommend spending at least half an hour to learn about the history of the falls if you’re not already accustomed to it.After the show, there will be an elevator ride taking you down into the Niagara Gorge. And as you venture out along the walkways, you’ll be able to see Canada and the maid of the mist boat tour.An experience that cannot be missed when visiting Niagara Falls. It engages all your senses and enables you to appreciate the wonders of perhaps the most impressive falls in the world, if not the most.

No wait—visited end of March and it was practically deserted! Informational video before riding the elevator 175 feet down to view the falls from below. Keep ticket after the movie because you do have to walk around outside to the elevator.

Tip of the cap to the staff for being able to handle the massive surge in visitors for the eclipse weekend. Really great experience to get so close to the American falls. The kids also lived seeing the throngs of snakes on the rocky walls up the canyon. Since my last visit years ago, they added a movie experience as you queue for the elevators down the canyon, which was a nice plus. Not being able to buy tickets in advance was a minus. The tickets are timed (which is great), but must be purchased at the ticket booth, which requires wasting time in a line.

A must visit on the US side of the Niagara Falls. You get to stand beneath one of the falls and experience upfront the majestic beauty of the waterfall. You get to see the charming skyline of the Canada’s side of the falls. Unfortunately, part of the bridge was closed when I went this time, so I wasn’t able to experience the full attraction as I remembered a few years back. Still, this attraction is a must when visiting the falls

Great views for the price. You get your tickets at the little building, step into the interactive room to watch a six minute film, then head out to the elevator and down to the falls. You get handed a Pancho, you will get wet, even if you’re not trying to, you arms, pant legs and shoes will get wet. The more wet you get depends on you and how long you stand under the falls area. Great views down there!

I visited the Cave of winds in 2016 and loved the experience and recently visited again with my husband!Imagine going right under the Bridal veil falls of Niagara and getting drenched with the high speed waterfall.. it took my breath away both times and is so thrilling!!They give you a yellow raincoat but it is difficult to remain completely dry in this experience. Initially they gave non slippery sandals as well but looks like that is discontinued now, so be sure to wear good footwear as the stairs are slippery. You begin the tour with a great video about Niagara's history and then take a lift ride down to see the wonder. The price of $21 is so worth it for this experience!We went on the labor day weekend and since we reached around 10am we easily got parking ($15) right outside the cave of winds. We noticed that parking was full and closed to people as we were leaving, so it is better to arrive earlier on weekends.

Simply breathtaking. This is one of the things every person should visit during their life. One of the best natural landmarks I have ever seen. Please visit if you can. You can even spot raccoons in the park.Visit the Canadian side for better view, but also check the US side.

It is just amazing what mother nature has created for all of us to view! The mist from the falls felt good on the day we went due to very above average temperatures. If you haven't seen the falls in person I would definitely recommend you make time to try!

The falls are very beautiful. They have daily night shows with fireworks, and there are lots of activities to do on Canada and the U.S.A. side. It is $1 to walk across the Rainbow Bridge per person. It was very interesting and it had a spectacular view. Would definitely 6

What makes Niagara Falls so impressive is the amount of water flowing over. Most of the tallest falls in the world have very little water flowing over them. It's the combination of height and volume that makes Niagara Falls so breathtaking. the falls consists of three falls in total. The largest one is Horseshoe falls, followed by American falls and then Bridal Veils falls. Carries more then 75 gallons of water per second.Worth a visit in a lifetime

Niagara Falls is as gorgeous as the say. The area is very commercialized, and I thought that might detract from our enjoyment, but that wasn't the case! We stayed in a room at Embassy Suites on the Canada side. It had an expansive view of all 3 Falls comprising Niagara! We did most of the falls tours on both the Canadian and American sides. Cave of the Winds was our favorite!

It’s amazing how nature can give us a beautiful view with magnificent sound of waterfalls. So peaceful and tranquility! Perfect for family of all ages! To note we went at night and day time. The view is amazing and no one words can be described. Night time has its own unique feel and day time we rode on the Maid of Mist to get the feel of that Niagara Falls experience.

We came late October at the end of the season. We traveled from PA wanting to see the fall leaves. Overall the town is run down and not very appealing. We were located in a hotel and were able to walk to all the attractions that pretty much can be done in less than a day without using a guide (don’t waste your money). Here are some tipsGoat island: nice walk, can follow the river and stop by numerous lookouts to take pictures. Free to enter (walking) and where you’ll find the cave of the windsCave of the winds: $14 per person, you take an elevator which will drop 130’ and put you at the bottom of the bridal’s veil fall. You then walk in wooden platforms to near the base of the fall. At the time we did it they were already taking down platforms so weren’t able to get close. The whole thing takes less than 10 minutesMaid of the mist: $24.50 per person takes down both sides of the fall (US and Canada). Actually trip is about 10 minutes and the like to pack the boat. Most people go up… stay in the lower deck and in the front as most people will go to the upper deckThe lookout deck: included in the price of the maid of the mist. Super high views of the river and the fallsHowever, the river trail is a nice easy walk to all the attractions and has very pretty small spots that you can discover if you take your time

The falls themselves are impressive and definitely worth seeing at least once in your lifetime. However, the surrounding area is so overly touristy that it feels more like Disney World than the incredible natural wonder it is. We went in September and it was so crowded you were pretty much shoulder-to-shoulder with crowds the entire time. I would love to go back when it’s little less crowded.

Niagara Falls consists of the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. Both are amazing and awesome to see from afar and up close on the boat. You can see both Falls for free from great vantage points on the Canadian side or take the Cruise to get up and close to the Falls and experience the mist. Well everyone said go to the Canada side to see the falls, they were correct!! Amazing views!! The closer you get you can feel the mist from the falls and you can hear the falls!! Parking was tight and you can spend anywhere from 15 to 25 a day to park depending on location. Also I would plan at least 3 nights maybe 4. There is a lot to do for everyone!!

The falls are beautiful! Lots of viewing areas. There were a lot of people, but there were so many areas to view the falls that it was easy to get a spot at the railings for a great view. Wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms available, gift shop, and drinks available for purchase. Hiking, biking and viewing trails.

Wow, just wow! Absolutely stunning and free to boot. The Canadian side has a better view but the NY side is up close and personal. I’ve traveled the country and glad I got to see this. I especially like the Tesla monument as he doesn’t get enough recognition. Go to Canada if you can as well.

You've got to put this place on your "must-visit" list at least once in your lifetime. It's seriously stunning. And here's a heads-up: don't miss out on the ferry ride. It's a totally unique experience, and it gets you super close to the falls – be prepared to get soaked!

It's a must do destination, words cannot describe how incredibly powerful and amazing this place is.The Canada side also has beautiful parks and gardens and the falls are bigger with access tunnels to go behind the falls.The boat trip is also worth it, and so is the power station tour.

What a great experience! We visited both sides of the falls. Gray Line Tours is how we did it. They took care of everything. The falls are absolutely breathtaking. They were "low" when we were there because 80% was being diverted for power stations. Can only imagine what they are like when they are only taking the 20%. We were there the weekend after Thanksgiving. It was definitely cooler but a lot less people too. Would go again!!

I enjoy the breathtaking view of Niagara Falls. It is the combination of water flow from a height and it's volume that makes it an impressive place to visit. One can do a lot of fun activities and gaming in Niagara. You can also enjoy the skywheel ride at Clifton Hills street and enjoy local and foreign food outlets there. You can also see US water falls on the other side. One must visit this beautiful place.

Super accessible and right by the parking lot! Came here as a kid and adult - loved every visit! Try the Maid of the Mist for an unbeatable vantage point of the falls, or walk the walkway the goes about the water further down

Felt that it wasn't as grand as it looked on google. I personally felt The Grand Canyon was more awesome. In any case, it's still a wonder of the world.Though it wasn't snowing, the wind was freezing, and I couldn't stay very long to grab my photos and videos.Visited in February

Another must to do when visiting Niagara Falls. Great views of the falls from above and of the surrounding area. Observation deck has plenty of room to view the falls from many angles.Great tip is to buy the day/night pass to visit the tower twice within 24 hours. The first time we went up was at sunset in late-July. They illuminate the falls every night at 8:30 or 9pm. LED light show on the falls at night is pretty to see. Fireworks show every night at 10pm on the Canadian side of the falls in front of the American Falls. We didn’t watch the fireworks from the tower, but you could as it’s open until midnight every night. Great views of the illuminated falls at night. We returned to the tower the next day with our pass and went up in the tower during the daytime. It’s nice to see the falls at both day and night. You can spend as much time as you want on the observation deck, but we stayed probably 45 minutes to a little over an hour each time we went up there. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

Tickets are at a good price if you booked it online so it is definitely worth it going here to see Niagara Falls from a different perspective. Being able to view the mist coming from the falls is amazing. It has an indoor and outdoor observation deck so you have choices if you want to view from outside or inside. The elevator staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. It’s nice to go here early in the morning so it isn’t crowded here. Amazing place to see the falls from up top!

This place is the star of the show. Easily accessible and had a lesser wait time than the SkyWheel. The elevator goes up there in about a minute so you can take some photos while going up. Once you arrive at the main entrance of the tower. You are greeted with the view of Niagara Falls. It was not that crowded at the time I went (It was a Tuesday) The view is great and you can spend unlimited time there for about 15 CAD. Overall. It's a good place to spend time and relax.

As a tourist who was unsure if doing the restaurant was worth it, if you already want to go to the top of the observation deck, I’d suggest it’s worth it to do.It’s certainly a “touristy” thing to do, but it’s probably worth it overall.DO NOT ORDER THE STEAK. It was definitely one of the most subpar steaks I’ve ever had. But the French onion soup, bread, scallops, and shrimp were some of the BEST I’ve ever had. Incredibly good tasting, slightly smaller meal sizes. But the steak was just plain bad. Don’t order it. Recommend anything else.Important to note that the minimum $49 is supposed to be $49 per person for entree specifically, however if you get good waitstaff (which they all seemed to be) you can get away with the starters counting to your total as well.Beyond that the views are spectacular. The rotating gimmick is fun. Cool to see the falls and eat with that kind of view, and if you were gonna head up for the observation deck anyway, a slightly expensive meal is probably worth it.Bread was super good, and butter is cute (see the last photo)

This spot serves the most incredible food. One tip, though: if you can, ask for a window table when making a reservation. While the inner tables still offer a view, you might have to peer past those lucky enough to snag a window seat. The food here is truly top-notch—fantastic selection, and you get a feast for the price. The chefs at this restaurant go beyond creating a meal; it's like a taste of heaven. The staff is highly professional, contributing to a fantastic atmosphere.

The Skylon Tower is a fantastic tourist attraction in Niagara. The views of Niagara Falls from the top are absolutely fabulous. On the ground floor, you'll find a nice Starbucks and a few typical touristy shops. Up at the lookout platform, there's a souvenir shop offering some great keepsakes. There are less vegetarian options.The views from the top are truly stunning, making the glass-fronted elevator ride worth every penny. However, the building's interior could use a modern touch.A tip for budget-conscious visitors: You can park affordably in the car park in front of the tower and enjoy a pleasant walk to the falls instead of shelling out $35 for the official falls parking lots. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience for anyone visiting Niagara."

An amazing view of Niagara Falls from the Skylon Tower revolving restaurant, on a quiet and clear day we had no wait to enjoy the lift and prompt service before our dinner. A good steak and vegetables with attentive staff, while the restaurant turned and gave us the best views of Niagara Falls. The cost of the dinner was offset slightly by the speedy and free access to the view, and with limited time at the Falls this was good use of our time. Just incredible views which we will always remember.

We came here to view the eclipse, and it turned out to be a great spot! Although we encountered clouds, the views from the top were some of the best that Niagara Falls has to offer. The staff were friendly, and it was quick getting to the top and back down. Worth checking out for an awesome views of the falls from above.

My husband , son and me had a great time going up to the viewing deck with a cute yellow elevator. The elevator staff was so creative , singing , entertaining well the guests. Up there , was so fascinating having the night view of Niagara Falls with different colour changing , on top of that fireworks . Amazing experience. Fee for the viewing deck was reasonable.I suggest to pay for day time and night time viewing. Next trip we will try the revolving restaurant.Highly recommend to try Skylon Tower!

A great experience overall, but expensive for what it is.We paid $20 for parking.We ate at the buffet, and per person it came to $75.30.The only reason I wasn’t outraged at that price, was the fact that we got to watch the fireworks over the falls from the observation deck after dinner.The dinner buffet was mediocre.There was a salad bar that had options like pasta salad, couscous salad, beet salad, pickled mushrooms, shrimp, and a few other options.The hot food section had roasted potatoes, mixed vegetables, noodles, rice, chicken fingers, French fries, meatballs, fish, roast beef, ribs, pasta, shrimp and scallops, clams, and a few others.The desert bar had 3 different tarts, squares, cookies, fruit and whipped cream, cake, cupcakes, cheese and perhaps a few I have forgotten.It did seem like you have a better chance at getting a window seat if you have a group of people rather than just 2 people.The staff were top notch! Super friendly and professional!

We lucked out going up and had minimal wait time. The walk around the top goes quick but oh my the views!! 😍 The wait to come back down was a solid 20mins and they do pack the elevator to maximum capacity. Very nice people working, and visiting which was quite refreshing given a few other stops we had made prior. Would definitely do again!

The views are stunning and worth the money to ride the glass fronted elevator to the top. The whole building looks very 1960’s and needs modernisation inside.Note - it’s possible to park pretty cheaply in the car park in front of the tower and walk to the falls instead of paying $35 to park in the official falls parking lots.

A visit to Niagara Falls wouldn’t be complete without experiencing the Skylon Tower. It’s the absolute must-visit spot for capturing incredible pictures of the falls.It has two options for dine in : one with revolving restaurant and other one is buffet restaurant.I took the buffet one as I personally don’t like revolving dining, it cost me $59 for buffet including observation deck . You can wait little bit to get a window seat to click the picture with fall or to enjoy falls while eating . Although I was lucky as it was not at all busy around 9pm so I get seat with no wait.View was spectacular, as it is located 775 feet above the falls. I love this and will highly recommend to live a moment for once .observatory deck was fantastic to view and enjoy the falls .

One of the best places to see Niagara Falls city and the Falls at night. The restaurant on top has a lovely view with an included ticket to the observation floor. However the food is not worth it , since the dishes costs around 50$.

The experience was not the best. We booked a reservation in advance for 7pm, got there a few minutes early and still had to wait until after 7:30pm to get a seat. Our seat was then placed next to the servers station so we were constantly being bumped into and having to keep an eye on how we moved not to hit someone. The appetizers and dessert were fantastic but the entree was not worth the price. Service did have a few small mistakes but was overall attentive and relatively quick on such a busy night. This would be a great place for kids and tourists but don't come here expecting to have a special night among friends.

GREAT place to get an amazing view of the Niagra Falls and surrounding areas! If you're visiting the Falls, it is a must visit attraction. It's not that expensive, and the views are incredible. The ride in the elevator takes about a minute. You're almost 800 ft up from the Falls. The tower, the elevators, and the railing/cage were all in great shape, very well maintained, so you have a great sense of security if you're afraid of heights. Expect crowds, it's a popular attraction, but it's so worth it.

You will pretty much be paying for the view only. Their food is nothing extra ordinary. I have had better steaks and bigger portions for better price.Service is okay. Went for the early bird special, $49 per person 3 course meal. The restaurant revolves while you are eating and you get beautiful views of both sides of the falls. The food was worth every penny, so delicious and the service was really fast. They give you 90 minutes sitting time and there’s no budging. As soon as you finish they are rushing you out to bring in the next batch of people. Included in dinner is also the observation deck which was a great experience, you get to stand outside on the top of the tower and the view is just so beautiful

It was only a 3 minute walk from one of the main parking lots of downtown Niagara. Very nice views! They have a package to come back at night to see the falls (which we didn't do), but I would highly recommend this experience! It's kinda pricey so I wouldn't do it again.

Make a reservation! Amazing views. YES the restaurant revolves, it takes about an hour for a full rotation. They have an observation deck, food and drinks were very good but the atmosphere was even better. It's a little tight up there but service was good and attentive. You take an outside elevator car up to the tower, awesome views (pretty quick ride for those that are afraid of heights). It's a MUST, if you're ever in Niagara Falls!

Great experience visiting the Skylon Tower. This is a beautiful spot to have a slightly more upscale meal and take in the gorgeous view of Niagara Falls’ Horseshoe Falls. We had the great chance to enjoy the buffet in the lower of the two levels, there were many gluten friendly options available for me. After the delicious dinner we made our way up to the viewing deck and spent an hour watching the sunset on the falls and the beautiful lights illuminate the view.

It was a good experience. Although we got a bit lost when we went to see “The Falls 3D/4D” movie. But I highly recommend for someone that works there to put up a sign right by the escalator when coming down to the arcade because it’s separated from the tower itself. We were confused on where to go and didn’t notice a sign on the wall that was FURTHER away from the escalators.AGAIN, different building just FYI for those that buys the ticket for the video/ cinema.The view up there is nice! I highly, recommend to go there during the time when the sun is setting down and it’s becoming nighttime.They have an arcade connected to the Skylon tower but from the looks of it there wasn’t a lot of people there. I was even hesitant to go down there thinking that, that part of the building section is closed for the day.Didn’t see if there’s a restaurant connected to the tower itself but I’ve heard that it was nice.

Had such a wonderful time up there taking lots of pictures and looking at the amazing scenery. The staff are very friendly and will do anything for you . The skylon tower is well set out snd people are very friendly will do anything for you if you ask. You can have professional photos taken there I never had one but for what I saw they were cheeper than other places I have been to. I would go there again tickets were a fantastic price for the view you are gonna at the top . I recommend you go up here and tick it off your bucket list . 5 star from me.

We had an amazing Dinner here! The steak and prime rib were amazing! We ordered the calamari and had to send it back, but that was the only problem we had. The service was great, Vinny and Tom were soo great! They even sent us out a dessert on them because it was our anniversary. It was such an incredible experience. So much food we had leftovers too! So worth the price!

The last time I was in Niagara Falls was 40 years ago. I wanted to make this trip memorable. One of the highlights was dinner at the Skylon. Dinner and the views of the falls and surrounding areas were magnificent! Dinner here was a 5 star quality. We had the calamari appetizer and French onion soup. Both were excellent. The main course was strip steak and prime rib, and both were cooked to perfection and top-notch. Our server Rosemary was excellent and she put up with our corny jokes. The hot pecan pie with vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream was a nice finishing touch to a fantastic meal. With the exchange rate, and a strong US dollar, the meal was very nicely discounted. Highly recommended. Make reservations.

Our family had an amazing time at the Skylon tower viewing the falls. We also made reservations and had dinner at the restaurant all the way at the top. We had a beautiful view of the falls for dinner. It was a little pricy, but you are paying for the atmosphere and environment. The food was good and enjoyed the service from the staff. Just be patient for the elevator and know that you are in tourist areas. Gift shops were up and downstairs. We ended buying a couple items from the shop.

Dinner was good but a bit expensive for what you get. If the tower were newer and things were a bit more updated, I would be more okay with the cost. The lower parts of the building are kinda run down and half-abandoned, which was sad to see. The views up top are the only thing that makes up for it, and they are stunning as any could be.

The view was so gorgeous, my goodness. However the bathrooms downstairs were in an inconvenient area and they were disgusting. The staff was friendly. The pictures definitely were corny and a money grab, but hey, it’s a memory. The staff doing the elevator ride was super charming and funny. Worth it!

We visited from California and we're a but thrown back at how non friendly most people in Canada seemed to be. .. BUT this was one of the few places where that was not the case. SUPER friendly staff. AMAZING view, the steak wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was notable and fairly priced. Portions were perfect. The Strawberry Daqueri was 😚👌🤌The elevator ride is comparable to the Seattle space needle except slightly shorter. The night views are absolutely stunning. The platform rotates slowly so you can sit anywhere and still see the full view cycle. We went around about 1.5x in a 90 min time frame, so nothing crazy.

My family and I did the day and night visit. The elevator operators were super friendly and very knowledgeable on both visits. The views were absolutely amazing!

LINES!!!!!! Be prepared to stand in line! Purchase your tickets online ahead of time. With that being said, the experience was worth the wait. Amazing attraction where you can get sprayed by the falls. You can hear the water rushing down the falls. Wasn’t expecting it to be this crowded on a foggy day but it was still nice to visit. Better than a similar experience on the American side I went to a few years ago. There are two portals and one big observation deck here.

Neat experience! It's exciting to see another angle of the falls, and you can explore the tunnels beneath it. It's very busy and crowded, but worth doing it especially if it's your first time visiting.Also note, you can select this and some other options in a bundle if you want to save some money. There was a line, but it moved pretty quickly. You get your rain poncho and wait to go down to the Falls tunnel. Out of three openings available, I would recommend doing just the panoramic patio. The "behind the Falls" part is nothing but a wall of water that looks like nothing. People take a million pics and it's just weird.However, the first (closest) patio/opening is the best to view the Falls from the side. Absolutely stunning views. Prepare to get wet! ;) But worth it. Skip the "behind" part and just enjoy the view from the patio.

We purchased the package, which cost roughly $50/person and included 5 attractions. You can either purchase it online or in person, depending on which season you're visiting, to avoid the lineup. Journey behind the falls is located at the main building you purchase the tickets. You take an elevator down. There is 1 deck area with 2 decks. One at the top which is covered and another at the bottom which is open. There are also 2 viewing points where you basically see the water. Views from the deck was amazing but be sure to wear your ponchos. The staff took a picture while entertaining and was selling them for $40 at the exit which was messed up. The gift shops were super expensive for the quality of item they're selling.

Niagara Falls is indeed spectacular, and the scenery and travel packages on the Canadian side are better than those on the American side. However, coming in winter or early spring when it’s very cold is indeed a test for tourists’ hands holding cameras and mobile phones. The town next to Niagara Falls is very attractive, and all aspects of tourism are well done. It feels a bit like a small Disney and Universal Studios.

I highly recommend this attraction. You down under the falls in a tunnel. Then, out to observation decks to see behind the falls. The sound is so cool. Then, head out to the outside observation decks. The falls are truly a wonderful experience. We did not realize it was a Canadian holiday, so there were a lot of diverse people.

Totally worth it! Not crowded in April and a good way to see the falls up close and personal. I loved to hear the rushing water and the occasional blast of the water hitting me as I looked out of the key hole. The look out point is spectacular, a big area with a covered top and open bottom. You are right next to the falls. And you get wet! I loved it.

It was fun to be on the deck, but the tunnels were just long waits to see a small window of water crash down. It was very cool to be behind the falls. Maybe it would have felt more worth it with fewer people. Waiting for so long just to see that was, eh? But, the deck is so worth it!!

I had an incredible experience at Journey Behind the Falls! The highlight for me was the viewing platform that offers a breathtaking, up-close look at the magnificent Horseshoe Falls. It's an awe-inspiring feeling to stand so close to the rushing water. The tunnels leading to the platform were an adventure in themselves. The whole journey was well-organized, informative, and unforgettable. I highly recommend this attraction to anyone visiting Niagara Falls.

This wasn't something that I was necessarily looking forward to doing, but my husband really wanted to do it. However, I'm really happy we did it. It was something that you don't get to do all the time and you don't get that close to a super powerful and beautiful waterfall every day!

Definitely worth your buck! Quite a bit of tourists, which is expected with a breath taking experience like this. The staff are very friendly and give you a quick history of the tunnels that were built underneath the falls. It can be a little slippery, so be sure to wear some adequate shoes.

It was spring break. And ticket was cheaper and no waiting long. Happy about we went there not in summer time. They said you need to wait over an hour in the summer time~ no boat at this time so that we tried journey behind the falls. And I am glad that we did it!!!!

The first time you go, it's really impressive to see the falls that close. It's really a "must see it once in my life" type of attraction.This year was our second time and the wow facter was a little less there. There isn't really anything to do down there except taking a few pictures inside the tunnel (they don't have interactive gallery or lightning and only have a few wall boards with historical facts while waiting in line) because they don't want you to stay down there too long.It's pretty much take the elevator, wait in line 30-40 min, take a quick picture or 2 behind the falls and please go back quickly waiting in line for the elevator to let others take pictures too.Like I said, recommended to see it 1 time in your life but since nothing was added in 10 years, don't expect anything new after.

It was such a unique experience. You can really feel the power of the waterfalls underneath it. It gives a new perspective to Falls viewing and the history and use of the power generated from the Falls is fascinating too. Even though it was the Easter weekend, it was not busy. We didn't really have to line up. The photos that you get at the end of the tour are quite pricey as to be expected but we bought them because it'd be a one time investment and it's a decent family portrait that we otherwise wouldn't have. Buying the photos would be optional.

One of the touristy things to do in Niagara falls. It is always great idea to purchase the ticket in advance to avoid the queue. Having said that be ready to stand in a queue to get in and get those beautiful views, it’s definitely worth it. Make sure to wear a good footwear as the floor can be slippery. The views from the outside terrace is breathtaking. They have two floors and soak all the views and sound you can. They also click your picture like every other experience for you to get a print if you like. I went there on a weekend around 4pm and could get in without a queue but there were long queues after that. I would highly highly recommend this experience.

Really neat to walk behind the falls. Terrifying to think of how many millions of gallons of water are flowing over top of you. It's very crowded and musty, so wear your poncho and bring your patience. Lots of good photo ops.

Spectacular views. The tunnel takes you very close to the falls and the view point is amazing. It's like getting a seat in the first row.Prepare to get soaked ☺️ it's worth it and can be very refreshing in hot summer days.We went on a Saturday early June and it was a bit busy, but the staff was very helpful with keeping the visitors in organized lines.

A must-see if you're visiting the Canadian side of Niagara. The grounds of the park are beautiful. Wherever you turn, it's a photo op. The gift store and building are wonderful inside. There is plenty of shopping and assorted places to eat. Going behind the falls was once in a lifetime experience. It is for all ages, from toddlers to senior citizens, it's not too scary . You get complimentary ponchos for helping to stay dry. They came in handy, being it was a rainy day. It was a great experience for the whole family .

Really interesting experience. For some reason, the observation deck was not open. But the tunnels were cool. We waited in line to view the Cataract Portal but the line for the Great Falls portal was too long. Since the observation deck was closed, we didn't have any issues with getting wet. Still recommend the stop though. You should buy a ticket and reserve your time in advance.

Wow what a great experience to walk under the falls and feel the power of water. A true inspiration and left feeling small! Would recommend to anyone especially on a quiet day, I imagine it gets crowded during busy times.

You get into tunnels that have 3 different views. The first shows you the waterfall from a lower level. The other 2 shows the water falling, so you're basically standing behind the waterfall. It's super cool especially when the water splashes on you.

Great place to see and hear the falls up close. Down here you can really feel the mighty force of the falls. Prepare to get wet. Also the tunnels are low. Anyone over 6'5" be warned to watch your head.

This was part of our ticket package deal that included this, maid of the mist, cave of the winds, and the tunnel. I'd suggest looking into the ticket package as it does end up saving a bit of money and all these attractions were definitely worth it! The falls are so big and so powerful that being able to stand right next to them and watch, it's beyond words.If you are near the falls, don't miss this! *we did this from the NY side of the falls but we're residing on the ON side for that week.

Great experience going down in the tunnels and learning the history behind the falls. You take an elevator 125' down till you get to the tunnel and walk about 25' when it spits to the right under the falls or straight to observation area, truly Amazing views being able to see inside the tunnels under the falls and getting close enough to feel the water spashing so if you want wear the poncho they give you, I did not wear one but I had a water proof heated jacket so was not needed. When the sun goes down and lights turn on, it's an extremely gorgeous site, a great place to propose 😀 or site see.

It's amazing to feel the power of the falls. The lower deck wasn't open when we visited as it opened closer to the summertime. There was probably less of a crowd than there would be during the summer, and we didn't have to wait in line very long beforehand.

Very affordable for such a cool experience! To have the perspective to go behind the falls will give us a lasting memory! And we were suckers and bought the picture after but actually it turned out to be a great souvenir option!

I highly recommend the tour bus. Our guide was very informative, professional. We made photo stops and did not rush us as we had time to venture out and see the sites. Driver offered discounts for the added attractions. The Fall were breath taking and a must see to believe. Overall great experience.

The Journey Behind the Falls experience was part of our wonder pass and was a wonderful experience. It consisted of a short tunnel that branches into two different directions. To the left was the observation deck that gives you this pretty view of the falls (first video). Then, a little gated glimpse into the old tunnel aesthetic. When you go to the right of the fork, you are taken to the two look out points BEHIND the waterfalls (included below). You can literally feel the waterfall moving all around you as you walk through this portion of the tunnel because it is quite literally running over you. It was so cool to witness, I highly recommend!

The coolest part was going through the tunnels, and you can even see one that was abandoned. But you stand in line to see a huge sheet of water. Not sure what I was expecting, but it was OK. The best was the view from the side platform though the crowds made this hard to enjoy. It took a long time to fit any kids through the mass of people to get a good look. Fun to see the boats down in the mist and power behind all that water. Glad we went, but wouldn't go again.

We enjoy going to this casino. It’s low key and not sensory overload with noise. The crowd is a more mature, relaxed crowd, with a good vibe. It’s easy to get to, the parking lots are safe and and easy to get in and out of. Service is quick and the slots are fair. The bar is right in the middle and easy to get to. We enjoy going there and blowing off some steam.

It needs to be a little updated staff was friendly but they didn't have drinks excessible or easy to get to also. There wasn't many wait staff but A-OK casino.I do recommend this for my friends and I will be back. Oh yes You're also as a live band there which was a decent Band.

We always enjoy going to the Hamburg casino for a number of reasons. We find the staff very friendly and helpful the food and beverage prices are very affordable and it very clean and a safe place. The no smoking in the casino is also another benefit. They have a section for smokers along with different types of gaming machines so if you need to smoke you don't have to go outside.

Usually I don't do reviews unless something was exceptional or something that really bothers me, but last night was an Exceptional Night at Hamburg Gaming. The fish fry was EXCELLENT, fresh, good portion, and well worth the $15. The country band was also Exceptional.

All the way from Texas, and I have to say this place is ok. I never expect to win so I won't rate that. They have a ton of games but the 4 stars is because they don't have any $1 nine line slots.

Loved playing the slots. I actually won! I ordered some hot chicken wings. The worst Buffalo wings that I have ever had! They were soggy and some of the skin on the wings were chewy and felt like rubber. Also, the celery was soft and tasted like they were boiled and soggy.

By far the worst casino I've ever been too. Small, boring machines, terrible promotions. I had a promotion for a rinky dink $20 free play and the machine printed the ticket incorrectly and I couldn't even use it! I called for service and finally after 30 minutes and $200 dollars later, I was told that the promotions desk was closed and they were the only folks who could reproduce the ticket! Money guzzling place and it's not even fun there..in fact it smells like urine inside. Don't waste a trip to this terrible casino.

This is a review for Indulge @ Hamburg Gaming. It is convenient when going to the casino. This is the only good thing I can say.Prices are ridiculous for the amount of food you get. I had the chicken sandwich, all roll very thin piece of chicken. To substitute for something other than fries, price is abit high.Very disappointed with this place. I will never again eat here.

Best place to go for a night out when you have nothing planned and want to have good food and a good experience! Some of the best video slot machines I’ve ever played! Definitely will be going back it was a 10 out of 10 experience plus if you sign up for the membership card, they give you free play as well as an optional dining experience coupon!

If you become easily addicted to something this is the place for you. I'm an alcoholic and loved coming to this place for a couple of drinks and betting away my daughters college fund that my grandfather left her. Good service juts make sure you leave some money in your car to get gas on the way home.

Very nice establishment the people are friendly and the food is good but it can be very painful to loose your money they also have live bands sometimes and sports to watch. You can even play lottery! So you can enjoy all of these benefits at the same time and if your lucky enough you can win good luck!

Well kept casino and pleasant people working there. Payouts are as good as Batavia Downs. Both casinos have free self serve coffee and soft drinks. Has a decent fish fry. The Strangers band played Friday and rocked the house. Huge amount of the better/newer video slots. No card tables. Only open till 4 am.

Very clean, staff are extremely friendly. Great chicken wings at the small restaurant and Cyclone Bar has great drinks, especially their Long Island Ice Teas. I wish the ratio of free play received was higher than it is as you have to spend/lose/play a lot in order to get a decent amount but other than that I really enjoy Hamburg Casino.

So far, my experience with Delaware North and everyone at Hamburg Gaming has been fantastic.During my interview and on boarding, Toni (in HR) and Chef Brian were extremely welcoming. I was worried that they would not be as positive/understanding and friendly once I was actually hired.But, those worries proved to be unfounded.Everyone that I have interacted with so far has been extremely friendly and helpful. I look forward to working with the Hamburg Gaming staff for foreseeable future.

I can't believe the young red head lady at indulge!!! I spend thousands in this place every single week I didn't become a diamond member in a month for no reason!! She was so nasty and rude to me ... And when I asked her a question she said to me so rude that the line is over here which by the way there was no line .. then she cut me off and took the person that walked up behind me but closer to the side she pointed too ... How dare you. I stood there patiently waiting for the supervisor but they were extremely busy so I just left !! On top of this .. the same employee was definitely high on something her mouth was twitching and eyes and she was very jumpy.. I have seen her before and she wasn't like this so I know that she was clearly on something!! Ridiculous to let her even work today that's how obvious it was that she was under the influence of something!! I was so disgusted with the whole situation!! As a diamond member I should have never had to experience the treatment of such kind ... Well as any member!! Not a big gambler, went there to try out the Indulge restaurant. Food was excellent, very generous portions, in fact personally I would have preferred a smaller portion and decreased price. Had the meatloaf poutine and took it home for two more meals. Reuben was also excellent.

The casino was clean and spacious. There were complimentary drinks (coffee, tea and pop) . A waitress took my friends' alcoholic drink orders and brought them their drinks at the machines. We played mainly Penny slots. My friends smoked so we ducked into the smoking room, it was packed and cramped, we didn't stay there long. All the employees were encountered were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. We had a good time. They won, I lost. (Boo, lol) I'd go back again.

First time visiting after looking for something indoors. Very clean and very friendly staff. They were helpful and made you feel welcome. Even being busy and having some difficult customers, the staff kept calm, smiling and weren't stressed. The complimentary beverages are nice and having a tim hortons was a bonus as well! Will try the food next time I go as they weren't opened quit yet when I went!

Great place to spend time with your kids and loved ones

We're very enjoy the moment no matter how many times you visit & walk on the beach or the sand never gets old. The beach is not a place to work; to read, write or to think, It’s a place where all worries melt away in the summer heat as you lay under your beach tent or go swimming, fishing or seating on the boat is very peaceful as well.

We visited on a rainy day and it was not busy at all. The carousel is covered, so it wasn't an issue. There is a combination of moving and stationary animals. Also, for 5 cents a ride you can't go wrong.

Oh my goodness!!! What a joyful experience that was 😁 I haven't been on a carousel in ages!! So much fun!! The Carousel is 5 cents a ride or admission by donation, we gladly paid $5. It is a stunning piece of art and history hand carved from 1898 to 1905 a Charles I.D. Looff original.

Quite the piece of History, Still 5 cents per ride, the Horses actually have Real horse hair tails. It's amazing

Great park and beach. Enjoy the carousel and take a walk on the beach. If you aren't from St Catherines there is paid parking during peak season, but also free parking on the surrounding streets. Definitely worth a visit!

5 cents a ride on a lovely, preserved, historical carousel. A must do for young and old. It is in a pretty beachfront area ( or it will be pretty again once all the construction is complete) Ride the assorted animals then swim picnic and take a stroll in the little Main Street for some ice cream

Always fun for kids and adults. Beautiful sceneries, nice beach and playground. I love walking along the beach, they also have nice trails for bikes. Carousel is lovely and we'll maintained. Returning there regularly.

It's 5 cents for a carousel ride! You can't go wrong. It's all donation based and we put in some extra money. The only thing is if you are driving, you'll have to pay for parking. But you are also going there for the beach and they have a nice playground there for kids as well.

Absolutely loved it!! Beautifully restored. Operates entirely by donation. Nice playground for children and only steps to the beach on Lake Ontario. Restaurants within walking distance. Ample parking ( paid) port-a-potties on site

Grandsons really enjoyed the ride! We stood beside them on it, too, and had fun. Only 5 cents a ride, they will take any donations. We went on it 3 times. Short line for waiting.

Parked at the Jack Darling Memorial Park, it was a busy and crowded place in the weekends. There are a number of parking lots, but all were filled up pretty quickly. Walked along the trail to the Rattray Marsh Conservation Area, the area was well maintained. It seemed Ontario has poured millions into the area, new boardwalks and all. The view was stunning. Liked the wetlands, the boardwalks and quietness in the conservation area.

A very nice area, great for a short hike, almost completely covered with a boardwalk. It's connected to a larger park with beach access, playgrounds, and splash pad. We were there early morning and left before lunch at which point it just started getting crowded with few parking spots available.

Great to go for walks along the boardwalk and was all easy trails to take. There was plenty of maps so it was easy to navigate. It is quite a popular place that it does get crowded sometimes especially near the grass lawn areas.

This conservation area was a lovely surprise! It's an easy walk along a boardwalk through beautiful marsh land. I saw several different birds during my visit, making it a great spot for some birdwatching.Heads up about parking: There isn't any parking available right at Rattray Marsh itself. But don't worry, you can park at Jack Darling Memorial Park nearby and access the marsh through the waterfront trail. It's a short and scenic walk to the boardwalk.Overall, I'd definitely recommend Rattray Marsh for a peaceful and nature-filled walk!

I've been to Rattray Marsh on quite a few occasions and at different times of the day. Personally I find that the best time is very early in the morning as the birds are out and about and it's still nice and quiet without too many people.The trails and raised boardwalks offers some great views over the marsh. If you're lucky you can catch some of the local wildlife that call this marshland home. I didn't see any deer or beavers but I did catch this hawk in action.It's one of the last remaining lakefront marsh on western Lake Ontario and a great spot for birdwatching and enjoying the fall colours.Right now (October 2021) they are doing maintenance so some of my favorite portions of the boardwalk and, as a result, they're now closed off to the public. Those areas provide some of the best views of the marsh and construction is slated to go into 2022.

Nice getaway in the city!Went on a Tuesday. Parked at the Jack Darling park and took a short walk to the marsh.The boardwalk was really nice and easy to walk on. Lots of maps so you’re never lost.Took about an hour to walk around and come back to the parking lot.

This so wonderful place to spend entire day with friends and family. Take food, water, games, barbecue, beach access is so easy. Washroom facility is available. Splash pad for every one as well. Lots of picnic tables available. If you are choosing public holiday try to reach around opening time by 8 am as there are 4 parking lot but all are full. Do not park anywhere in parking lot as there is penalty tickets we seen on random park cars. Parking is free for whole day. It was so nice experience

Rattary Marsh (Conservation Area) and Jack Darling Memorial Park (A Dog Walkers Paradise) strive to create a park area for Families, Nature Lovers, and/or for those who enjoy walking their dogs for both off leash or on leash activities.The nature area trails in and between the park and conservation area cover a total distance of approximately 6.1 km. with ample walkways, play areas, lookouts and access to Lake Ontario. There is access to a number of washrooms as well as parking in the park side of the area. Some of the walkways are wet and muddy so it may be advisable to wear hiking boots especially when there is melting snow or when it is raining.Both areas are fairly well maintained, and the Conservation area has received a new walkway which allows for comfortably walking around the edges of the marsh.My wife and I were there on a weekend, when it was moderately busy. We were somewhat annoyed by the occasional garbage, cans, and excrement left behind by some irresponsible people. It might be useful if there were a few more signs encouraging people to properly dispose of their garbage (not throwing it to the wayside), and to clean up after their dogs.Putting aside the exceptions mentioned above, we really enjoyed our visit to the area. There are many opportunities for observing, photographing and enjoying nature and its wild life.

A real hidden gem. Definitely worth a trip, has a nice area of beaches and some rather enjoyable walking paths. The conservation area is really great to experience. Marshlands are an extremely important part of the ecosystem. Public benches, bbqs and washrooms are available to the public. Parking was a little full during our trip today.

Beautiful lakeside park There is a promenade along the coastline. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Breathe in fresh air that fills your lungs Listening to the sound of the waves and the wind helps to relax. There is ample free parking. I walked under the shade of a tree. and meditate i feel great if you have free time must visit this place

Finally!, I found this amazing pedestrian boardwalk in Mississauga. I started walking from Jack Darling Memorial Park towards the westside with my dog and it led me to Rattray Marsh Conservation Area. It's a wow! It offers a unique experience to see critters, birds, plants and I enjoyed my walk with the pedestrian boardwalks overlooking the wetlands. It was such an inspiration.

The paths were well maintained and well marked. We stayed along the main trails and boardwalks which were easy terrain for walking or running. There was some construction going on so somebpaths were inaccessible but they were well marked as auch. The scenery was beautiful. Lots of red winged black birds and Trillium flowers growing. The parking situation was a disaster so I suggest going early on to avoid the rude, impatient people.

It is a lovely park and it is quite huge! As you enter, they have an off leash dog park section! We even saw a fox randomly at the entrance as well!!As you continue driving, drive until you see the playground and ice cream truck. Park there to access the trail. They have a nice long trail and it is wooden, so it is stroller friendly! I love that bikers aren’t allowed on the trail! So it’s safe for running toddlers and your pups. The plus side is you get to see a nice view of the water and downtown Toronto! Such a nice place to take photos! They have two sets of playgrounds, one near the trail and one at the parking lot by an ice cream truck.Always bring a sweater with you! It can get windy since you are by the water! It was a nice place to spend the day! We went here for Mother’s Day!

This park is a unique experience for nature lovers and is a must-see for avid birdwatchers. This environmental gem along Mississauga’s Lake Ontario shoreline features a shale beach and pedestrian boardwalk overlooking a natural wetland.Once you walk pass the waterfront area, it will lead you to multiple small trails to discover wildlife including herons, rabbits, beavers, deer, foxes and more. One can easily spend 1.5-2 hours exploring the area. Have amazing lake view with waves.The park has almost 4 different parking lots, still it gets full during weekend as it is free. Quite busy park, you will see people celebrating birthdays and much more.

Well maintained trail with lots of trail markers and info. Enjoyable walk and hike depending on the paths that one takes. The board walks are safe and have lots of room for busier days. It’s a good spot to go for a walk and get some air. Parking is only in Jack Darling Park but the walk over to the conservation area is fairly quick from the park.

Rattray Marsh is a small urban park on the lake shore of Lake Ontario. It's a great place to come for a short walk where you'll have the opportunity to see some wildlife (especially birds) if you keep watch for them. There are a number of woodpeckers and other song birds but there are also owls, hawks and even Bald Eagles that frequent the park.

Beautiful board walk, visited during early October when there was nice fall colors. Did the trail, probably around 1-1.5 hours worth of walk. Recommended

Amazing nature trail with board walk leading to a beautiful view of the lake also has a beach with sand . If you’re lucky you might find deers and other wildlife animals.

Quiet, peaceful, amazing, love this walk and spending time there. The park has a good vibe and you could walk and enjoy the nature as you would not hear the noise from roads.

Pretty conservation area, quite busy, not big, but i can easily spend 2+hours here in a relaxed pace and sit on the beach watching waves and the toronto skyline. Nice long boardwalks, well maintained. The marsh offers great place to watch for birds and other wildlife.I parked at the free parking lot at Jack Darling Memorial Park, and walked here in around 10min.

We parked at Jack Darling Park, walked along the shoreline path to the Rattray Marsh. A well kept boardwalk through the marsh, easily walkable with plenty of birds, bees and fall colours just starting to emerge. Some shade provided by the tall canopy. Benches are available to take a rest and admire the scenery. A little gem.

Fantastic theater. We visited there for a community gathering and discussion on Truth & Reconciliation. The venue is very spacious and easy to reach. The complimentary food from Indigenous peoples was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend to anyone who loves to watch theater or community acting

Great Venue , you can catch some surprise acts you wouldn't expect to see here, every seat is a great seat and very comfortable. Because of the size of the venue it's very easy to get in an get out with not much of a wait and parking is very close.

My family recently attended the showing of The Sound of Music at The Rose Theatre in Brampton. First time at the theatre. It is a great location close to restaurants and most importantly great underground parking. As for the show the seats and the amenities offered were fantastic.

Attended the Red Barat show in Rose theatre Brampton. The show was very good. The theatre is quite nice. Very good, helpful and friendly staff. In the heart of downtown Brampton. Beautiful location. Lot of underground parking.

I saw Tegan and Sara on their acoustic Not Tonight tour and it was amazing! A perfect venue for an intimate show such as this. The sound and lights were amazing. The bathrooms and theatre were very clean and the ushers polite and helpful. I didn't buy drinks so I can't speak to the cost. The underground parking was free for the night which was amazing especially considering tickets were over $80, but it was worth the cost! Beautiful venue that I would definitely visit again!

Great show. Lots of attendants for the show. Wonderful venue.Needed someone in the parking lot to direct cars up the ramp. Many felt the lot was full so they left to find parking elsewhere. One parking lot assistant could have saved a lot of grief.

Fin. Saw the Wizard of Oz. Really good production. Staff was very pleasant. Theatre was great. Sound was great and you had a great view from.yoyr seats. We have 1st row balcony. Would have been nice if the bar was open.Wear comfortable clothes because the seats are a bit cramped with minimal leg room so it makes it difficult when people need to pass by to go to the washroom.Still...it was a great show. Lots of fun.

I enjoy going to The Rose Brampton it is a wonderful experience to be able to partake in something different with each member of our family based on interest, and age. Growing up and watching various plays with my elementary school teacher has given me a sense of appreciation for live plays. The kids and I had the opportunity to see the Wizard Of Oz. Beautiful production and cast.

Great theatre! Parking at first seemed limited but everyone managed to find a spot! Staff were friendly, washrooms were clean and not to mention the convenience of the complementary coat check! The snacks were a bit more on the pricey side though but I didn’t mind. Seats were comfortable and had enough room that I didn’t feel cramped.Came here to see Hamlet and holy moly what an amazing cast! Bravo! 👏

We had a blast here! We went to see the Eagles #1 cover band and they killed it! Free parking right below the theater, drinks and tickets were beyond reasonably priced, bathrooms were clean, seats were very comfortable and you'll have a great view of the show anywhere you sit!

Saw the Hamlet has week at The Rose Theatre.It was fabulous, comfortable and cozy theatre. Parking was free and very convenient.

Today was my 2nd time coming to this theater and I would say it is a fantastic mid-size theater with an amazing stage and acoustics. It also has a great orchestra. I wish the seats were a nmbit comfortable but overall great experience.

Nice place for night lights and ice skating. You can park in the city hall underground parking as other parking places are closed. Only lacks in social distancing and few people with masks. The area is well lit and looks lovely at night. Fun for kids.

It was first day of winter lighting, free rides for kids and other fun activities, very well organized.We spent good 2-3 hours

Gage Park is a very beautiful park specially during the winter with it's free outdoor ice skating rink. The rink is surrounded by beautiful lighting making it a delight to skate at night. Skate rentals and sharpening is also available. Rentals cost $15 for 2 hours and $10 for kids aged 12 and under, helmets are also available to rent at $5. The rink is open daily from 5pm-10pm and 10am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Underground parking is available in City Hall. Overall a nice option for a winter outdoor family activity.

I went in December 2021 and the park's pathways were closed for normal recreational activities. However it was open for skating. Skates were available for $10/2 hours. There are no instructors for adults. You have support staff available and safety guards for kids. I thoroughly enjoyed my first ever skating experience. A nice lady helped me take the first round and everybody there was very very supportive. Christmas lighting around the park and Brampton Civic Center are amazing. Do visit with family and friends

This small, family oriented public park in the heart of Brampton is practically an obligatory stop. With splash pads and live events during the warm months, and an ice skating rink during the winter, there is really no wrong time to visit.Public transports and ample underground parking are available nearby. The park has plenty of open grass area, and a few picnic tables. Perfect for spending time with your family

Attended Rib N Roll. Enjoyed the music. Fun people in the crowd.Wicked fun band "The 80-it's" need to bring them back. The crowd loved them. Singing and dancing.

Gage Park is a popular tourist attraction in the heart of Brampton. Right in the middle of Brampton Downtown area, the park is divided into 2 parts. One side has big BRAMPTON logo and the other side has a ice skating rink along with light tunnel. It's a beautiful small park which is well maintained by team Brampton. There is free day time parking near Gage park. Good place to visit with kids esp if they like ice skating - equipments are available on rent at the park.

This is a wonderful Park in Brampton where the city Holiday celebrations lights are very nice. During the summer it is okay but sparse.🤷🏻‍♂️I am a big fan of trees there are some big nice ones here. It’s gracefully decorated in winter with colorful lights. You can do ice skating around the path in the park. Beautiful entrance is so fascinating. There is no parking around the park. However, you can park near cermetory house or church.

Great place for any festive celebration. It's the happening spot of Brampton downtown. Every festival has some celebrations going on at Gage park. We have been there during Navaratri and Christmas. Had a wonderful time. They also have a small skating rink.It's always open for everyone free of cost. Parking can be bit tricky, you can park at City hall parking or there is a parking spot behind Subway at the square.

Very beautiful place to visit especially in the winters. No tickets no hassle. Beautiful lighting with variety of themes used. Great for skating with well maintained area. Highly recommended for casual night outs or unplanned outings because of the location which is in the middle of Brampton.

I would love to give 3.8 rating to the place. Good part is that they have ice skating for free if you have ur own skating shoes, even rentals are also available. Just the place is occupied bcos of skating thing so garden is not accessible much. Still would be a good spot to stop by👍

Great place for any age!! The trail is a great place to go on a nice day out!! The old canal also has some trails you can explore that bring you along a really historic area!! Love going here to relax and just go for a peaceful walk! Great place for a bike ride to the pth is all paved and ready to go! These pictures are from the old canal trail just a few minutes away from Glendale Bridge!!

Do find the Canal system very interesting and worthwhile. Some of the ships exhaust is very black and the smell is terrible. The bridge notification system is terrible. This is causing people to waste fuel by racing to the next bridge because there was no mention that the bridge was about to go up. Can be hard to cross for work or appointments and also emergencies.

Great place to walk the dog.

These canals are always interesting. Such a great idea of moving ships up or down. Nice to walk around when it's not that busy and watch the ships pass.

We had no GPS but we drove around till we found it and it was so cool. A ship was going through.

I have to say it’s one of the most fun rides I’ve had watching the big ships go by in the locks and all. I did half from east to west ,welland.. before the end of this week I will do the other half going to Lake Erie and continue to push shirkston area and come back should be about 80 km or so. A wonderful bike ride for a day.

Gorgeous spot to walk, ride your bike, rollerblade, run etc. Long trail that goes from St. Catharines to port colborne! Gorgeous scenery and you can see ships going through the lock systems. Lots to see and do along here - water sports, sight seeing, museum at lock 3, viewing at lock 7. Very accessible. Beautiful spot in Niagara. Highly recommend

Kacaba Vineyards and Winery came highly recommended but left us slightly disappointed. The outdoor setting is beautiful, and the winery offers a good selection of Shiraz. That being said, the indoor decor, tasting setup and wine descriptions (staff knowledge) left us a bit underwhelmed…

This place is excellent. My wife and I are not big wine drinkers but we checked out Kacaba Vineyard as we were visiting the wine region of Ontario; wow!! The place itself is serene and the staff are passionate and knowledgeable about the product. A special acknowledgment must go to Charles who shared his enthusiasm for wine with us and helped us appreciate the craft. A must see in the Niagara region!

Our previous visit to Kacaba was during a period of covid restrictions, so it was super to be back when the full great experience was available. They have a spacious bright tasting room/event space on two levels in the main hall, and a private room is also available. Lots of outdoor spaces for visits on the warmer months.Our visit this time was related to our membership at another nearby winery, Commisso, whose club includes partnerships with a number of nearby wineries for tastings. Kacaba has a lot to offer! Among the three of us, we tasted most of the menu and had a lovely visit with the staff member. My top two were the Reserve Reisling and, of course Joanne's Blend (sparkling!). My partner and our companion were both quite pleased with multi-award winning Syrah Reserve and Meritage Reserve.All in all, it was a great way to have spent a dreary December afternoon.

My husband and I booked a tasting here back in Oct 2021 as a wedding anniversary gift. Everything from our host to the wine yard to the wines themselves, was amazing! We got our membership right on the spot and have been enjoying the tastiest wine being send to us every month ever since.Would recommend without hesitation and would go back for another tasting as soon as we can travel again.

We chose the self-guided wine tasting and enjoyed a flight each on the Adirondack chairs in the vinyard.We thought it was very relaxing and good value. The flight with four 3oz glasses was $15. There was also the option to do a guided tasting for $25 each and you can then subtract the cost of the tasting from your two bottle purchase.

The wine and the service were amazing! Jess knew the wines inside out, and tailored our tasting to our preferences. All of the staff were kind and accommodating.

Charles gave us an outstanding wine tasting today! All the 2020 wines are fantastic at Kacaba. I recommend anyone who want a great wine tasting to go to Kacaba.

We were extremely disappointed with their "vegan food and wine event". The photos showed these big portions of food on plates, and this is what we got :/ We didn't eat before hand intentionally (and spoke to others who said the same... that they were super disappointed that they had to pay to go for dinner after). The food was room temperature, the wine was okay, but my partner doesn't drink and just came for the food. Very misleading advertising. Left after 20 minutes. Could have been so much more- a big meal where vegans could eat and chat. bummer!

Went to try a few wines after having their Syrah wines recommended by a friend. Dave took care of us. Of the 10+ years I've been going to Niagara this was one of the best experiences we've had and the wines were absolutely top shelf. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent reds, especially the Syrahs. Their tasting menu is a little pricey for the pour that you get, and really forces you to buy two of the wines to make it worthwhile. While the product is good, I don’t get the welcoming feel that we’ve had at other, small boutique wineries in the area. The server was very good, and knowledgeable, and didn’t push too hard. Not sure we’ll be back.

The tasting experience is amazing. Joe is an amazing person and keeps a very interesting conversation while shows all the wines they have.All the staff at the winery is helpful and if you do the tasting, then you get a discount at purchasing their wine.I will always come back with friends.

Awful experience - would give 0 stars if I could. We came on Sunday during the rain storm. The staff was not interested in helping us even though the place was empty. We ordered 3 flights of wine and then were escorted to a random back room in their facility that looked like it was used for events. Room was a hot mess - tables and chairs kind of everywhere, very cafeteria like. We were not seen again by a staff member. We were told nothing about the wine. My friend got up at one point to ask for water and see if there was food available to purchase and we were told there was zero food available to purchase anywhere at the winery. Literally not even a bag of pretzels. We did not finish our flights and when we were leaving, we noticed other people enjoying tastings out in an open room. Unsure why we were not offered this. Wine was mediocre, maybe would have enjoyed it with better ambiance.

Great Winery to visit for friends. Guided wine tasting 7 days a week from 11 am to 5 pm. Different kinds of wines to taste. Wine tasting fees are redeemable with any 2 bottle purchase of wine. I recommend everyone to visit this vineyard and winery. Close to major highway easy to access. Enjoy it.

I became a club member a few months ago, and couldn’t be more pleased. The winery treats club members very well, the wines are delicious, and if you’re lucky enough to have Colin to guide you through your wine tour, you will never be disappointed! Colin’s expertise and outgoing personality make you want to come back again and again!

We went to our reservation for a tasting January 11. Cathy Roy had such nice manners to meet us out front and welcomed us inside for our tasting. The wines we tried, mostly red, and the Chardonnay were delicious! Cathy had time, knowledge and friendliness to give us a very pleasant experience. Thank you Cathy, you made a difference.

A great experience was had this oast weekend’s wine tasting. Excellent food pairings with Irish fare that included potato leek soup, cabbage latke/pancakes, and brazed beef. Serving staff were excellent, highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

Picturesque food, wine and view. We booked the patio for a group of 6, ordered 5 glasses of wine and 2 dishes (even after a full lunch). 5 star for all food, wine and service! We’ll be visiting next time for a flight tasting. Recommend the reserved risieling for sweet wine lovers. 2019 pinot noir has a complex flavour as European wine. We bought 5 bottles of takeaway.

Third time here and is a must see! Endless amounts of hiking and exploring. The sculptures are quirky and fun, with tons of well maintained trails. So serene going through and seeing what you stumble upon next. Each time I go there is so much more to see, so I can’t wait to come back again!

Wonderful sculpture park and easy hiking trail. It was very muddy in places so wear boots. Make sure to keep going through all 3 fields! Some of the best sculptures were far in.

What a magical place to spend a day!! Sculpture to view, climb, or hide inside of. Ponds, a stream, meadows, and forest. Well manicured trails to access it all. And some very strategically placed benches throughout that allow for a place to sit in the shade and contemplate the lovely views. Total win.

A bit farther of Rt. 86 than expected and not very well marked, but had no problem finding the park with GPS. Some pieces are a bit older in style but plenty of enjoyable pieces. No charge collected the day we visited, all and all a nice little stop when on a long drive through the area

Went during early spring. Very, very muddy. So prepare for the weather. Otherwise, I would find this place interesting. Wonderful sculptures pleasantly laid out. They do have a booth. Out-house washroom. No gift shop. There is a sloped terrain but not difficult at all.Entrance fee of $5 per adult amd $3 per child. Decent and good to support the locals.

Always a fun place for a hike. Something different and unusual around every turn. Only stayed about an hour but you can easily wander the trails for the entire day

Great place, it's really fun to explore but there are also defined trails l.

Variety of sculptures in varying states of disrepair; rusting, broken, graffiti, etc... A few were fun to look at and take pictures with. Nearly all of them had no name or any insight into what it was supposed to represent. Trail map was garbage. Multiple trails diverge from the path you're on with no clue where they go. There are no markers or trail colors or arrows or anything to help you navigate where you are; just a confusing, crudely-created map at the entrance. I don't recommend going until the owner does some upkeep and makes the paths easier to figure out. When it starts to get dark, you need to use the bathroom, and you aren't sure how to get back to the parking lot...that's a problem.

Great park with unique sculptures. Don't be afraid to touch and climb in and on especially with kids. Many fun photo opps. Great place for a picnic but you have to bring a blanket as tables are far and few. NOTE: in summer watch for beehives inside some of the sculptures. I was lucky to arrive early on a brisk morning and had the park to myself ! There are two parking lots for this park . The main entrance park is for the main trail system. The other parking lot is for the drive-by sculptures. Both are a must-see. This park is fantastic . My watch recorded 4.3 miles and I’d say I covered roughly 95% of the park . The day I went it was extremely muddy & wet make sure to wear appropriate shoes ! This being said; I’m an avid hiker and the mountain climb up I’d rate as moderate for any leisurely hiker . The climb was most certainly worth it !!! Stellar sculptures and much ground to cover ! Benches are located throughout for sitting . I can’t imagine the beauty of this place in the fall with all the foliage surrounding (I will most certainly be back)! You can easily pay online prior to arriving . Take a photo of the map located at the front entrance . There are maps located throughout the park but they are pretty beat up / hard to read . Park was 99% clean . C’mon folks; please clean up after yourself ! Carry in and carry out !

The hotel is amazing; the room was super clean and comfortable, the check in staff were friendly and efficient and the valet crew were on point. However, if you stay here, be warned: the buffet is a very expensive, sad reminder of what bad service can be. It was $29, but they charge 4% credit card fees, so it took it up to just over $30, and the food is okay at best. Most of what I had was dried out and hard. The only staff in the entire restaurant that even looked like they remotely wanted to be there was the lady at the meat carving station and the dessert station attendant; pretty much everyone else had a scowl, including the manager, Liz, who very unceremoniously asked me to leave about 30 minutes after posted closing time, though there had been no warnings about "time limits" (shudder) when I paid the exorbitant fee for a less than mediocre buffet meal. She actually started hinting, with frequent visits at about 10 minutes after closing, and every 3 to 5 minutes after that then finally said, "I don't want to rush you but I'm going to have to ask you to hurry up and finish your meal; we're closed." I grew up working in restaurants and NEVER, have I EVER asked anyone to leave after closing or been asked to leave. If it was an hour after and I arrived an hour before, that's one thing, but I arrived at about 15-20 minutes before closing because this was the only place I could eat, as the their "Cafe" had a 40 minute wait and I had to be up early. She accused me of having been there for "over an hour," at about 20 after 8pm, which was about 35-40 minutes at that point (but even the over an hour would be completely irrelevant). My advice, stay in the amazing, comfortable, newly renovated rooms but eat before arriving, if like me, you have no transportation after arrival... there's a McDonald's on the other side of the intestate. Great hotel... horrible buffet.

Non-stop fun and relaxation! The suite was beautiful and the jacuzzi was wonderful. Room service meals were delicious (suggest the NY strip) and everyone was helpful and friendly. Loved going down to casino in the morning, sleeping, eating, and then going down for more slot play. Will definitely book again!

We wanted to go to Watkins Glen for a day and decided to stay at Seneca Allegany as a halfway point. Loved it here. Grounds are kept beautifully. Room was spotlessly clean, had a safe, fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer and toiletries. There’s on site restaurants including Starbucks and a 24 hour cafe with excellent, reasonably priced pizza available after 10 pm. We did not try the buffet or steakhouse. Casino was fun and smoke free except for a large designated glassed-in smoking area. Indoor pool is supposed to offer designated adult only swimming times (but this was not enforced while we were there) and appeared that smoking is allowed in the outdoor hot tub. Staff very friendly. Free parking.Highly recommend this hotel resort. Great proximity to Allegany State Park.

The casino portion was great. There are plenty of slots to choose from and fun(even though I didn't win). I chose the buffet for my dinner, which I believe was a great choice. Two people able to eat for $62, and there was plenty of options. The reason I won't give this 5 stars is due to the room itself. It was way overpriced and included nothing. I could have stayed down the road for less than half of what I paid. I may go to this casino again, but I will never stay in their hotel.

Starting out, we went to park in covered car park where it is free which was nice considering the time of the year and the snow. Everything was clean and well maintained the casino was smaller then I thought but still had all the games and tables you'd want or expect. They had multiple bars on the gaming floor. There are restaurants and a Cafe place along with a buffet. We had the buffet which was nice and food was good. Our room was on the 9th floor with a nice view of the gorgeous surrounding land. The room was spacious and comfortable as well as clean. All in all it was a pleasant place to be and we really enjoyed our time. The only things were the size of gaming area and the size of the buffet which were like I stated on the smaller size don't know if there would have been much to keep me occupied for more then a day or two tops.

We originally planned to stay 3 nights here. But because of an unexpected snowstorm, we had to come back home while we still had access to the city. The hotel staff was so helpful and understanding of our situation that they let us check out after hours without charging for that day. I cannot thank them enough for putting our safety first. Even if we had to cut our vacation short, we had an amazing time while staying here. It was very nice to have different restaurant and bar options inside the building, they all were easily accessible from our room. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the room service was fast and tasty. The casino is always open and it is so much fun!

Very pleased with our stay. Excellent service and room was larger than expected. More amenities than we anticipated. Enjoyed the service in the restaurant for breakfast, so friendly. For the rate we paid to stay, it was a bargain.Take advantage of the mobile check-in and check out. As for the casino, we were surprised at the size, and how clean everything was. If there is any area of opportunity, you could tell the casino was still short staffed. There was only one co*cktail waitress and she was doing everything she could to take care of everyone, but needed help. The hospitality industry is still having trouble staffing, that is evident everywhere. We will definitely return. Great weekend getaway from Pittsburgh.

My son and I were on a bus trip to The Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino. We started out by going to the casino then we tried to go to the buffet . The line was too long, so we went to a restaurant on the third floor. It too had a line but they moved us very quickly to a table. I am sorry to say that the food was not so good. The Pepsi tasted like club soda and the french fries and fried onion rings were not crispy. Waitress was absolutely friendly and very nice.

It had been over 15 years since we last visited the Seneca Allegheny casino, and this time, we decided to spend 3 days here. We had so much fun this trip and we really enjoyed our time at the casino as well as at the various restaurants. Our room was clean, large, and very comfortable! Service by the hotel and casino staff was first rate and very clean at all times. The area is in the Allegheny River Valley in Salamanca, and the views are breathtaking! Highly recommend!! We definitely plan to be back again!

We stay at Seneca Allegany twice a year (march and august) and it never disappoints! The hotel rooms are always spotless and have a great view. The casino is always great too. They have lots of slot machine options and it’s always super clean. The whole resort is nice, the staff are always friendly and the restaurant upstairs has good food. The view from the rooms is always awesome, because coming from PGH its nice to see the mountains. We will of course be coming back!

The rooms are great. In room dining was outstanding. That’s where is ends. Played on the casino floor and couldn’t literally buy a drink. Went to the bar to get my wife a Jack and co*ke and a beer for myself. Nope, not allowed. Could only get my wife a drink. Only one beverage per person. Sat and played for a while longer and couldn’t beg waitstaff to come by. So much for that. Then went to the Italian eatery at the casino, there was a line. The individual taking names for a table skipped right over us. We brought it to her attention and she was quite standoffish. Needless to say we left and went to the cafe. The next evening we opted to try the Western Door Steakhouse - very pricey. We were seated and I ordered short ribs at the recommendation of a different server. My wife ordered shrimp and mushroom risotto. My food was good, but not $54 a plate good. Then, my wife tried the risotto which was still crunchy, about 3 minutes from done. Brought it to the attention of our server who simply looked like a deer in the headlights. It was sent back to no avail. We paid and left.

Only issue was at Toscana Grill the stuffed peppers were not cooked at all, they made us new ones that were cooked & the fried ravioli was not warm or hot & fixed that also. This was around 9pm. So it was not that busy either. Surprised that they didn't even comp. us a round (only 2 of us at the table) drinks or something for their mistake & having us wait for the new food to come out. Everything else was excellent, even the room we stayed in.

Never had a bad experience at this casino. The food is great at both buffet and statehouse. Room are nice bed are comfy but during certain times of the year the place can be completely booked. It also has a smoking section, but the main floor is non-smoking the bar is great with live bands and a great place to watch sports

Room was really nice. Clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. We were there on a March weekday so it was pretty quiet too.Pool closes way too soon (I think it closed at 9:45!?!? (We arrived in time for a late dinner, got settled in the room and the pool was already closed). Hot tub is closed if temperature is below freezing. So, missed out on that too. (Too bad, I had chosen this hotel because of the hot tub and it was off limits - and probably often is from late fall to early spring. Wish they'd mentioned that in the literature).But, if you just want a comfy room or room and casino - fits the bill!

Amazing hotel!! Off season rates are really good, especially during the week. Clean, spacious rooms, nice bed, but pillows are actually TOO soft. Love that smoking rooms are available. Nice pool area and outside hot tub. Room service was pretty cool and really good. This place is open all night, not every part of the resort, but it's a good spot for night owls. We will come back again and again.

Recently attended a concert and stayed the night. The hotel was squeaky-clean, comfortable, and quiet.The ushers at the concert were friendly and helpful. The shining star of the trip was Heather at the will-call counter. She was willing to go above and beyond to take care of her customers. How wonderful it is to see someone that understands customer service.

Couldn't get a room. Had a very rude attendant in the casino when we asked for help with the promotions on the machine. We go every month. In the past year, have had 3 decent visits. Waitresses don't want to stop to serve you. Staff needs big prep on hospitality.

First time visiting and the grounds were beautiful! The service inside was very professional. The room although very nice and very big was not too clean. There was a camisole underneath our “clean” towels. There were stir sticks in the chairs and the other bed had old stains that were resembled blood. The bathroom also was not swept too good. This won’t deter us from coming back

Nice, clean hotel with a friendly staff. of course, it's a casino resort, and therefore, food and drinks are more expensive than elsewhere, but there are other places to eat relatively close. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a view of the mountains. Available were a mini fridge, small coffee pot, and hair dryer. No microwave. Other things at the hotel are a pool, a fitness center, and an event center for concerts. It was a very nice place, and we would go back.

Great hotel and love that it's Native owned. Location was perfect - right of 86. Rooms really nice and quiet. Nice large walk in shower and toilet in it's own room. Very roomy. Only downside was interaction with valet/bell hop person. We used the drop off line and had to wait a while for two other cars to move so we could get up to the door. My elderly mom went in to get a cart while I started unloading vehicle so we didn't take much time. When she came back out with bell hop with cart he wanted us to move the car to unload and made a comment that under the overhang at the door was essentially for high rollers only. Drop off for hotel should be better and regular guests shouldn't be made to be felt inferior. Not to mention he didn't ask if we were high rollers so how did he know we weren't. Other than that our stay was very nice.

It was cool, went with a friend to blow some time. A little cool riding the bike but well worth it. Bartender was a bit slow bringing the 2 beers I ordered back but all in all, it was fun. Thank you Blade for covering the gas that day, and lunch, and the 🍺 I had a good time and enjoyed the company 😀

Disappointed the way our complaint was handled at 11:30 at night ,the temperature could not be set, temperature one minute 67 10 minutes latter 69 ten minutes latter 66, sound like standing next to a cement mixer. Called to complain the answer its a thermal regulating thermostat,, nothing they can do ! We left the hotel at midnightcould not sleep with being hot then cold and the constant heater noise.. Tried to buy a drink at a bar on the floor waited almost 10 minutes when the bartender showed up ,acted like I was putting he out. Room was clean , check in was polite and staff on gaming floor polite and friendly, service and food in restaurant was wonderful.

I did not stay at the room so I can't give you any information on room service but the service there was great for the buffet even though the food was not that good when we first got there it was around 12:00 noon and the casino was practically empty and was not a lot to do there I am not a gambler so it really wasn't that much fun I try to get a drink when I was at the machines and the roulette table but no one even came to ask me if I wanted anything and when we walked through the casino we can smell the smoke coming from the room that was provided for smokers even though it was a private space you could still smell the smoke throughout the whole Casino so if you're not a smoker that is not a good atmosphere for you I would not go back to visit this place again I could have stayed here in Cleveland and visited our local casinos which is much better than traveling all the way there on a bus ride we ate at the buffet early that day but afterwards after a few hours of being there we wanted to get something else to eat because we were hungry because the food was not that great but unfortunately the restaurant there close early before 6:00 that was really unusual for a casino and there were not any restaurants nearby to go to to get any food I will not recommend this place

Absolutely loved my stay at Seneca! The service and the staff were incredibly friendly, especially the front desk, where Valerie was super helpful and accommodating!The room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The only knock on them was the windows were pretty dirty (on the outside) so the view of mountains weren’t as good as it could’ve been. I’d also recommend a new shower head, the showers are spacious and overall very nice, but the head was definitely showing its age.The casino was super clean and relaxing. The dealers were very helpful teaching us games we weren’t familiar with.We also had an opportunity to eat at the Cafe, I got the cheese steak and it was delicious and once again the service was excellent!

Great town. So many good shops in the local area as well all competitively pricing their goods for the customers benefit so shop around. Great casino floor. The wife and I always have a great time when we come here id recommend it to anyone for their stay. They happen to be having a concert the weekend we stayed so the rooms were full. But we had a great time anyways

Even though there isn't really much around the casino itself, the town is great and shopping is only 20 minutes away in Olean! The hotel itself, everyone is friendly, it's quiet and in a great location. My boyfriend and I actually enjoyed our stay here more than when we stayed in Niagara Falls. The hotel is gorgeous and access to everything is so easy. Everything is very affordable. The only complaint we have is that the heated indoor pool is actually extremely cold and the hot tub is located outside. Couldn't enjoy either with the cold weather as when someone went outside to the hot tub the cold air came in to the pool area and you got colder. Other than that, everything else was great! Even the buffet was good and we had went an hour before closing. Definitely will stay here again

The Casio is amazing, but the best part is the staff. Down to earth nice people. I will be going again and again. I went for the Eclipse event. The band had perhaps the best outdoor mix I have heard. In addition, the room prices and food prices are VERY affordable!

Love everything about this place! It’s incredibly clean and well-maintained. Both this and the Niagara location are the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in (nicer even than various Hiltons). The staff are friendly, the food is great, and it’s a great experience even if you’re not super into gambling. Definitely suggest the king corner suite with jacuzzi though! It takes it up an extra notch!

Was at a dinner and concert guest of a member at the Allegheny Casino. Arrived for dinner reservation on time, and informed the wait staff that we were going to the concert in one hour. Our entrees arrived 55 minutes later so missed part of the music (which was good fun). Food was extremely pricy, moderate quality, with sides (veggies) charged separately. I would not go back again since this is the way they treat members.

Very nice rooms. Restaurant service was quite slow the 3 times we ate. The Italian restaurant is fantastic and the server was very nice and more attentive. Location is a bit inconvenient, but a very nice drive if coming from rainbow bridge/Niagara region.

The positive things is that the rooms were clean and the gaming floor was great. There were like no waitresses on the gaming floor and the one I did encounter was extremely busy and I over heard a guest ask her for a drink and she told him the next waitresses will get it! We came here for a concert. Which the show was amazing, but before we went we decided to eat at the buffet. I should have looked at the food first before I paid! We went up and most of the food looked dried up and old. The ham tasted and looked like rubbery plastic. The prime rib had no flavor, like it was soaked in water. I ended up getting food poisoning! Will not be back

Awesome spot for kayaking! A literal playground for Kayakers! Friendly staff, easy to navigate park. There is a kayak launch dock near the Mill Ruins that is perfect. I would say it’s a great spot even for beginners as it’s a pretty easy paddle with lots of shore line you can reach if needed. There are quite a few rocks and stumps in places to be careful of, but can be seen if paying attention. Park near the beach is beautiful, amazing hiking trails and don’t forget to check out the caves!

Beautiful Conservation Park. Well maintained, campgrounds are beautiful, lots of things to do! Canoe, kayak, swim, playground, picnic areas, trails, fishing and more! Fishing and more! Reasonably priced. We camped during the week in the no noise area. At night you can hear the traffic from the main road, but it wasn't too bad. Clean facilities, well. Maintain grounds. Highly recommend camping here!

One of the best conservation parks that I've visited so far. Quiet, well maintained, and beautiful. The beach is small and clean, but there are no lifeguards. The highlight the long trail that ends at the caves. You can also go kayaking in the lake.

Fabulous spot amidst nature to experience a weekend getaway. Perfect place to relax with family and friends. Good for a picnic as it's spacious with sufficient picnic tables. It's got a beach area to swim around and boat rentals are also available. The parking lot is massive so you will never be out of space. The lookout shade has got clean washrooms. The staff and ranger officer David were amazing and helped us to host a birthday event under the shade. Would highly recommend this spot.

It’s an easy Hike, with a small walk around the mill ruins and the Grand River. There are some spots and caves that you can rest at but perfect for camping and kayaking. I would recommend definitely taking some bug sprays as this region has a lot of mosquitoes. You can pay the entry fee when you reach this place and can use your card for it. Enjoy!

The park was surprisingly calm and not overly crowded during my visit on a Friday evening. There are stairs (and ramp) leading down to the well-maintained beach, offering a great view of the water and small cliffs. There are also two trails that loop the river. The Pothole Trail runs alongside the Eramosa River and provides excellent viewpoints of the cliffs and water along the way. The second trail, Cedar Ridge Trail takes you through the forest but offers a great lookout spot from the top of the cliff. Completing the loop took us around 40-50 minutes. In my opinion, Rockwood Conservation Area is one of the best conservation parks in Southern Ontario.

First time at this park. Went out for late afternoon walk, trail accessible, with lots of benches to look at views, a good walk. We will definitely come back and go for a swim and kayak. Campground section looks good, we will come and stay next time so we can discover more of this park

This is the most amazing Conservation Area. There's something for everyone here and so many reasons to visit.First off, there's a really nice little beach. Not a whole lot of space on the sand but a decently large area on the grassy hill with picnic tables. Nice place to take the kids swimming!The Eramosa River flows through the park and it's a beautiful place to go kayaking.The walking trails follow the river, and some of the lookout points are so gorgeous you'd swear you were in Algonquin. There are a few that are just a little bit off trail and are SO worth checking out.The old mill ruins are closed at the moment but they are beautiful. I've been to two weddings that took place here and they were both incredible.I haven't used the campgrounds here before but walking through the area I can tell that they are great.This is a MUST VISIT for fans of the outdoors.

This is a lovely little place to go hiking or to spend the day with the family. I went here with my dog early morning and it was so pretty! You do have to pay a fee to get in but I think it’s worth it considering how those fees go towards maintaining the park - compared to some other places, Rockwood is clean and very well maintained.I would suggest going early morning before it gets too hot but there are lots of shady places and benches to rest if you need. There’s also a stunning lookout point if you want nice pictures. There are caves that look interesting for those who like to explore but unfortunately they weren’t open when I went.I also saw a ton of folks being kayaks and canoes - the park even offers rentals. There’s benches and tables for people to sit and eat in. A little beach area for swimming. This place has it all!5/5 will be coming back!

Awesome place to visit for a day trip. Admission fees is negligible and the place is full of activities like camping, beach activities, canoeing, falls, trails and caves. The beach is accessible and enough parking spots are available. You can go out and come back again in a day if you want to try some outside food.

Beautiful trials near by Toronto. Went for a morning hike. There are campgrounds and toilets available. One has to pay fees $8 per person to enter the park. Saw a beaver near the lake but couldn’t capture the picture.

Best place to go hiking and kayaking. Came here multiple times to kayak and it is always a favourite. The rocks and water always make it like a new, unexplored place. Easy walking trails, but would like some trees so the houses aren't seen on the cave trail.

This is a lovely little park where you can enjoy a short hike with friends and family. It's an easy hike that you can even do it in heals :P we went there specifically to enjoy fall but this conservation area doesn't have much colorful trees so if you are gonna visit it to take some autumn photos then it's not your place. The Mill is a small building but you cannot go in as it is surrounding by a closed fence.

Such a beautiful place, the trail was extra icy in spots, I'd recommend snow cleats , if you attempt to to walk the whole trail !

We had the best experience at Rockwood Conservation Area. My daughter played the beach and we barbecued some food. We went for a walk in the forest, the trails were amazingly well maintained. There are two dams. You can see two waterfalls, and peddling would have been amazing, but we did not have a canoe or a kayak to pedal in the river. We will definitely come back soon.

I love Lucy and I love this museum! Highly recommend if you are a fan! So many beautiful displays, opportunities to have your photo taken in several sets for $10 for 3 minutes. Short videos of her and Desi along with so many props, outfits and photos.

We preferred the I Love Lucy museum part the most. I would suggest NOT doing this museum and the National Comedy Center in 1 day. It's a bit much. I think I would have enjoyed it more if we would have done them on separate days. Overall I enjoyed it. Learned a lot about Lucille Ball that I didn't know.

What an experience! There is so much to see and learn about Lucy and Desi's life. They contributed and enhanced much in the entertainment business. There is some seating while walking that is helpful. Easy access bathrooms. Took us 3 hours to fully enjoy, but they offer a return visit all day and a combo price for the national comedy museum. Be sure to find the 4 murals in town, iconic images that will spark memories.

My family and I really enjoyed visiting this museum! The museum is divided into two different buildings (next to each other). One has all the history about the show and the other is more about Lucy and Desi’s personal lives. We were also able to take pictures in the replicas of the living room & kitchen sets.

My friend and I stopped in to see the Lucille Ball/Desi Arnaz Museum on a Sunday in October. There were only a few people there so we didn't have to contend with any crowds. We really enjoyed the museum and loved learning about the life of Lucy and Desi. There were many photos as well as memorabilia from the I Love Lucy show. There were recreations of the different sets that have been part of the I Love Lucy show. Throughout the exhibit there are tv screens showing snippets of different I Love Lucy shows as well as interviews, etc. There is a second building next door that is part of the museum and it features Lucy and Desi's life outside of I Love Lucy. Both buildings are well worth your visit. We spent about an hour in each building. Both have gift shops if you want to take home a Lucy souvenir. Admission into the museum was about $19 per person and gave us access to both buildings.Accessibility: The entire museum is very wheelchair friendly. However, while using the restroom I found it nearly impossible to maneuver my chair into the stall in a way where I could fit the chair and simultaneously reach the grab bars. Grab bars should be on the left AND the right of the toilet.

We visited on a Friday. Had a great time and learned a lot more about Lucy and Desi. They are responsible for a lot more of the entertainment industry than they get credit for. We bought the combo ticket and parked in the free lot for the Comedy Center which is a short walk away. I took a lot of pictures of future movies to watch. You can start the museum from either entrance (corner or black awning). Gift shop prices were reasonable. We spent about 2.5 hours here.

Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz were some of the most iconic and influential stars from the earlier days of Hollywood, radio and TV. This museum is actually two museums. One celebrating their personal lives and the other focusing on their professional lives. Props, costumes, letters, furniture and much more on display here as well as short videos documenting their lives. Definitely a must see for the fan of America's original TV couple.

Amazing experience.You need to see both museums. One is based on Lucy’s earlier part of her life, one on the latter. Make sure you see both to get the complete picture. This one is the latter part, the Desilu years, where she produced many TV shows including Star Trek and Andy Griffith. See the innovations they had after they took over the RKO set. There’s some great pieces of historical gear here including “the Monster” three headed video viewer to review the dailies.

Dream come true! Highly recommend visiting the I Love Lucy Museum. It was an immersive & magical experience. There is so much to see! The town of Jamestown was nice, too.

Amazing place to visit! Hubby and I visited on our wedding anniversary and really enjoyed reminiscing! The sets, photographs, information and beautiful costumes were absolutely worth the nominal price of admission and we even got photographs taken by a wonderful employee of the museum for our 2023 Christmas cards! My husband and I spent one lovely afternoon in this charming museum. The museum is split into two separate buildings. One deals with Lucy‘s life and one with her career. Both buildings are full of many familiar scenes and Momentos. One highlight was seeing the actual set of the living room, kitchen, and the hotel suite from when they visited Hollywood. There’s a great deal of information about their lives and careers. This museum is a real treat for those of us who have been in love with Lucy our whole lives❤️

If you remember the show, you will find the museum interesting. A good amount of memorabilia and it was interesting to read about their history. It doesn't take that long to get the museum but it was a different fun stop on our road trip. Buy online and take advantage of some of the discounts. The gift shop was a little pricey for some of the items (a little picture frame was $30).

Second time visiting and second time loving the experience. There are two different sections to see. One side is all about their lives from childhood all the way through their careers. The other is dedicated more to the shows. It's so amazing seeing everything and going through how they came to be one of the most iconic and recognizable couples in showbusiness. When we went on the side where they go through the show you can pay an extra $10 and they will take you picture on the recreated set which was an amazing feature. The kids loved it. They asked "Why isn't everything in black and white like on the show?" That's when one of the staff members came up and explained everything to them and even in terms they understood. Due to it being a little slower while we were there she even walked through partially with us and explained so many more aspects of things that you wouldn't normally learn. Will definitely be visiting again.Also close by are her childhood home, which you can drive by but not tour due to someone living there, her final resting place which you can visit, and the park (where she used to work over the summers as a teen selling hotdogs) where there are two statues in her honor. It's really a great experience all around.

I revisited my childhood memories! I LOVED going down memory lane. You have to be a TRUE fan to appreciate this museum. There is FREE street parking for up to 2-hours MAX, PER DAY. Please don’t attempt to get over. I saw a vehicle with a parking violation. The entry cost is $21 for adults. YOU GOTTA DO the set photo session for $10. I HAD SO MUCH FUN doing this. A museum associate takes as many pictures as you’d like WITHIN THREE MINUTES. You can only sit on the couch in the apartment. The STAFF are extremely friendly! The souvenirs are reasonably priced but it is a museum. ;)

Didn’t know this museum existed. We found it by looking up things to do near Kinzua Bridge State Park, and so glad we did! Every Lucy fan will enjoy this museum: recreated “I Love Lucy” sets, costumes and props, and lots of ‘behind the scenes’ info. The museum has two sections. One is all about the “I Love Lucy” show, and the other is the story of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz and their family. Very interesting! We were there for about two hours and saw everything. $21 entry ticket for an adult. Off street parking. Nice gift shops. If you have the chance, go!Not associated with the museum, but if interested, near by are the house Lucy was born in, her childhood home, the Lucille Ball Memorial Park, and the cemetery where she is buried.

Definitely worth visiting, the replica of both the New York and California sets were pretty amazing. Spend the extra $10 and get the photo on the set! Highly recommended! Lots of artifacts from Lucy and Desi.

I am a huge Lucy fan! This was absolutely one of the best trips I could make as a fan. They had so many memorabilia… from the sets, to the clothes, to just fun facts about the show!

So much fun...learned so much about Lucy and Desi and their start on TV. We enjoyed seeing the sets and all the outfits from the episodes we have watched over and over again. I LOVE LUCY.

As someone from the infamous Generation Z, I found this museum an awesome tribute to two awesome film stars. There are two museums, as most of these reviews say. :) One dedicated to the show, and one to their personal lives. Both of them were excellent! Great for anyone with a sense of fun and humor!

Mom and I went here for her 50th birthday! Was very nice and got good photos on the sets together! Super wholesome time! It has a lot of her outfits, so for anyone into design and vintage fashion (like me), will love it! Also very easy to digest information: concise but also super informative!

An artsy, upscale, well-maintained and self-contained village in the countryside beside Ch. Lake. Many activities available in the busy summer season, but we appreciated quiet walks on uncrowded paths in the fall off-season. Very leashed-dog-friendly. Leisurely 12 mph speed limit is not always adhered to in the off season.

I was very disappointed in the Chautauqua Institute. I have heard about this campus for years but this was my first time attending an event. We went to see Harry Connick Jr. and he is a fantastic entertainer. We all (10 of us) enjoyed his show. We invited my parents, who are both 88 years old to come. There were not enough shuttles to transport people from the welcome center to the amphitheater. During the concert, a storm with heavy rain, thunder and lightning started. Only 2 shuttle buses were available to transport all those people back to the welcome center. Most people walked but there was not enough street lights to see where to go and the brick street we were told to use was slippery from the rain. If you wanted a ride to the parking lot you had to stand and wait for a different shuttle. They had the welcome center closed so we couldn't use the restrooms. The lights on the exterior of the building were off making it unsafe as all those people stood in the dark waiting for transport.Also, a 4000 seat facility should have more restrooms. The line for the ladies room was terrible. It should have an entrance and an exit with more stalls, sinks and hand dryers.

It is a vacation of culture with fantastic lectures based on a theme each week of a 9-week season. There is theater, opera, The symphony all in a lovely setting along lake Chautauqua.

Free concert on Sunday. They flagged us in to the parking. Secrity was way over the top. But, the icing on the cake? You had to pay $10 to leave. Every car!You can count on us thinking twice before setting foot on these grounds again!

Last weekend I was the guest of a friend at the Chautauqua Institution to hear conservative pundit Jason Riley, who is originally from Buffalo, went to my Alma mater - University of Buffalo, sits on the Editorial Board of the Wall Street Journal and is a Fox News contributor. I told him before he signed my book, that I disagreed with him on somethings, Jason's response, ".. are you sure you want me to sign your book?". It's been a quite a few years since I've been back, but the place looks the same. What's different, I got the impression that some people felt that they didn't have the freedom to have, or hear certain thoughts in certain venues on the facility grounds. A week later, a world famous author who I've met before, did security for, Salman Rushie, that has spoken in Buffalo was attacked in the very venue that I enjoyed a religious service. The irony, his intended conversation was to talk about freedom of speech in the United States of America. Our country, unfortunately, is so polarized presently, that it's almost impossible for people to just listen to one another. I was invited out to dinner recently, place of my choice, I picked Hutch's. I was told we couldn't go there because the owner supported Trump and gun rights advocates. What does that have to do with a good steak? If the person is not preaching hate, nor advocating violence , people have the right to believe in what they want as long as it doesn't infringe on your personal rights. If we can't have a coffee, or medium steak and sensible conversation- agreeing to be disagreeable, nothing but problems lies ahead for our country🇺🇸

This was my first trip to Chautauqua Institute to see Sean Astin...it did not disappoint! The grounds are pristine and beautifully preserved. I plan on coming back all summer long.

Arts commune? Educational complex? Entertainment festival? I’m not really sure that Chautauqua fits any one of these, as it is truly a little bit of everything. I hadn’t been to Chautauqua in over a decade and my latest trip was brief, but they have gotten more diverse and inclusive with both programs and attendees. There’s still room for improvement, and the grounds still have that late 19th century look and feel, but the new direction is a breath of fresh air.

We visited on the off-season. Really enjoyed the picturesque houses and gardens. The lake and surrounding area was beautiful. There were lots of little shops, but due to timing and COVID only a few were open. We had fun popping into those. Overall, we had a great time. My only concern is that it might be haunted?

Beautiful place to visit when you need to quit smoking.

This place defies explanation. It is a wonderful setting to recharge your batteries. Music, talks, dance, opera, inspiration, reflection, art, etc. all in a sylvan setting.

Wow! This place is incredible. Perfect way to unplug and reconnect with nature, but also spark some adventure. It's great for any skill level. The mile path is pretty easy, but those who are more experienced, or at least more adventurous, have the option to go explore anywhere they like. Jonathan, who greets you at the entrance was so helpful and kind. This was one of the best things I have done in a very long time. Can't wait to bring my family back here!

Very interesting, and something different for an outdoor hike! 1 mile loop of 16 rock formations. Pretty neat with the October leaves changing! Not young child or stroller friendly; not handicapped friendly attraction. But a lot of fun and very kind staff! Waiver signing required prior to hike for all climbers.

An awesome trail. You need to be able to handle routes in the past, very rocky trail conditions, and slippery moss covered logs in your way. Definitely a hike in the forest with ups and downs and steep inclines. You can be as adventurous as you want, climbing into crevices and crawling in between huge boulders. Very much alive with the forest and life. The fee is eight dollars per adult with other fees. There’s a $.25 fee for using a credit card. This is a private park

Had the pleasure of taking a nice relaxing hike at Panama Rocks. On a hot day, this is the BEST place to go since every rocky crevice is filled with shade and cool breezes. Tons of fun for kids that love to climb and explore and test their limits. There are gentle hiking paths, hard climbs, and easy climbs. Also available now I’d Axe throwing!!! Also be sure to pick up a few things at their gift shop like a T-shirt or a bottle of pure local honey! Divine!

Our grandchildren had a fun workout in the rocks! And the axe throwing is always a hit! Especially with the competitive games. Thank you for a great day making wonderful memories!!!

$10 for adults and signing a waiver... Totally worth it. A park that encourages you go off trail. Explore all the crevices and caves. So much history here, from a counterfeiting operation, to a small crevice that natives used as an over. You can still see the scorch marks in there. Be safe, wear proper footwear and explore!Also there is ax throwing and a pavilion to rent for events.

Absolutely awesome place to hike. The trail is fairly easy to follow, but the real fun is climbing on the rocks along the trail. The rock are not only fun to climb but very beautiful as well. It is not a great place for pets, and kids would need to be old enough to be careful by the cliffs. However, the views and experience are totally worth the trip!

It was an awesome place to explore! You could go into little caves...there were tunnels between the rocks..you could climb on them....we had a great time. Plenty of parking....very reasonable to get into the park. Owners are very nice....please don't litter! They try very hard to keep it clean and beautiful.

First official weekend of glamping was wonderful at Panama Rocks!! Absolutely loved the hospitality from the owners. An affordable getaway in the woods with beautiful scenery all around. Will be coming back soon with friends!

We had a great experience at the Panama rocks. We had the whole park to ourselves which made it even more magical and peaceful. We spent about an hour and 15 mins wandering mainly on the path and a little off the path. Bring some water bottles and good hiking shoes for going off the beaten path. This would also be a good engagement or photo area.

Recommended by a friend when we were staying nearby. $10 power person. Pretty greenery and interesting rock formations. They do a good job of posting signs about geological features, always with a warning to be careful around drop-offs.

The rocks were amazing. So fun crawling through all the small spaces and finding new places to explore. We had a blast!
