How to stop T-Mobile marketing texts? ›

Dial 611 from your T-Mobile phone or 1-800-937-8997 from any phone to talk with Customer Service about opting out of our marketing communications.

You can check, set, or change your “Do Not Sell or Share” preference and other privacy choices using our Privacy Dashboard. If you want us to limit the data we share about you with other companies, the “Do Not Sell or Share” toggle(s) should be set to “OFF” or gray.

An opt-out text message is when a customer tells a business they don't want promotional texts, the opposite of opting in. To stop receiving these messages, customers can use words like QUIT, OPT-OUT, CANCEL, or STOP. The option of opting out is crucial because it lets people have control over the messages they receive.

Effective August 29, 2024, customers will no longer have the T-Mobile bill as a payment method for new purchases in the Google Play Store.

For privacy reasons, we don't store the content of text messages. However, your usage records do include the time stamps and phone numbers for incoming and outgoing messages - so while the content isn't there, you can access a log on the detailed view of any of your statements, which you can download from MyT-Mobile.

How to stop T-Mobile marketing mail? ›

Simply head to t-mobile.com/opt-out/marketing and select "Direct Mail." You may also choose to opt out of email, phone calls, and text messages from this form. From there, the website will ask for your address.
