Warren Buffett, the legendary investor and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, is known for his unique investment strategies and his equally unique dietary habits.
In an interview, the business mogul, who has turned 93 today, revealed that he drinks five cans of Coca-Cola every day and starts his mornings with a meal from McDonald's.
Buffett, who owns over 9 per cent of Coca-Cola's shares, has been a loyal consumer of the beverage for years. He switched from Pepsi to co*ke after a top executive from Coca-Cola sent him samples of Cherry co*ke in the mid-1980s.

Since then, he has been consuming five cans of co*ke daily, which he claims accounts for 25 per cent of his daily calorie intake.
When asked about his unusual dietary choice, Buffett, in an interview with Becky Quick on CNBC in April this year, said, "If somebody told me I would live an extra year if I ate nothing but broccoli and a few other things all my life instead of eating what I like to eat, I would say take the year off the end of my life and ... let me eat what I like to eat."
In addition to his love for co*ke, Buffett also has a penchant for McDonald's. The 92-year-old investor grabs breakfast from the fast-food chain during his morning drive to Berkshire Hathaway's headquarters.
His breakfast choices vary depending on the market's performance, ranging from a $2.61 sausage patty meal to a $3.17 bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit.
In the same interview, he said, “I know all these people eat all these green things and everything. But if somebody told me I would live an extra year if I ate nothing but broccoli and a few other things all my life instead of eating what I like to eat, I would say take the year off the end of my life and ... let me eat what I like to eat.”
Despite his unconventional diet, Buffett believes that happiness plays a significant role in longevity.
He argues that his indulgent diet, which includes burgers, hot dogs, sodas, cookies, candy, and ice cream, contributes to his happiness and, consequently, his long life.
As he puts it, "I think happiness makes an enormous amount of difference in terms of longevity. And I'm happier when I'm drinking co*ke or eating hot fudge sundaes or hot dogs."
