Can Wise send to mobile money? ›

To send money to mobile money with Wise, you will pay a small, flat fee and a percentage of the amount that's converted. We will always show you the total cost upfront - and you can rely that we won't hide any further fees in the exchange rate.

Your bank account and Wise names don't match

When you send us a payment, the name on the bank account where the money is coming from must match your name on Wise.

Send money using a mobile phone number

Western Union sends money to a mobile phone through a mobile wallet¹, linked to the phone number of your loved ones. To make sure you transfer money to the desired recipient, make sure you enter the correct phone number.

Login to your TymeBank App and click on SendMoney. Enter the cellphone number of the person you're sending money to and the amount you want to send.

The recipient details are wrong

If you make a mistake in the recipient's details, like the name or account number are wrong, the bank you're sending to likely won't accept the payment.

On many popular routes, Wise can send your money within one day, as a same day transfer, or even an instant money transfer. Sometimes, different payment methods or routine checks may affect the transfer delivery time. We'll always keep you updated, and you can track each step in your account.

Sometimes, your card will be declined for reasons outside our control, such as: The merchant's payment system doesn't support Wise card. You're spending in one of the countries Wise card doesn't work in. We blocked it for security reasons (we might not be able to tell you why)

How do I send money through Wise from us? ›

Like your bank, Wise is a regulated financial institution. To comply with local regulations (the USA Patriot Act) and our banking partner agreements, we need to verify the identity of any of our customers who want to order a debit card in the US.

For example, both Wise and PayPal offer multilingual services through their online, in-app, and phone channels. And regarding safety and security, both Wise and PayPal are fully licensed and regulated, providing users with peace of mind in their financial transactions.

You can do it on either the Wise app or from the Google Wallet. Once you've added your Wise card to Google Pay, you can make payments wherever you see these symbols. After you add your card to Google Pay, you might see a small charge on your account — this is just to check that your card works.

🌎 Need to send money overseas? In that case, you'll need an alternative like the Wise multi-currency account and debit card. You can't receive Zelle payments to your Wise account, but you can use Wise instead to send payments around the world, and spend like a local.
