In a charming interview with Divelog.Blue, Linus delves into his diving history and current diving habits.
The interview also covers Linus’ creation of Subsurface, a premier open-source software for dive logging and planning. He explains what inspired him to turn some of his Linux creating genius to make Subsurface, and what he sees as its strengths and weaknesses.
Interestingly, this visionary also shares his views on the future of dive computing and the open-source environment, as it becomes more and more available, and more and more manufactures are willing to embrace the idea of open source.
