This Privacy Statement describes how Western Union Turkey Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. (“Western Union”) collects and uses your personal information that we obtain when you visit or use our website or mobile application (“app”).

Western Union collects personal information about you during your usage of our app. You agree to the processing of this information for the purposes and ways described in this Privacy Statement, including the use, storage, disclosure to third parties in your country, and transfer outside of your country to countries including, but not limited to, the United States.

ADID and GAID s.

We process, collect and/or store your personal information when you:

We process, collect and/or store personal information when we are required to do so by law and as part of compliance programs, in particular those related to anti-money laundering and preventing criminal and fraudulent activity.

In order comply with legal, regulatory, security and processing requirements, government and foreign government requirements applicable to us, our Affiliates or service providers, including, but not limited to, anti-money laundering laws;
To organisations located in or outside your country which help us process transactions, validate customer information, and help us prevent debt, fraud, theft or loss;

Western Union and our Affiliates worldwide may disclose your personal information (i) if we are required to do so by domestic or foreign law or legal process or (ii) to law enforcement authorities or other government officials (including those in this country, the United States or elsewhere) for purposes such as detecting, investigating, prosecuting and preventing crimes, including money laundering and related criminal activity, and the recipients may further disclose the personal information for these and other related purposes.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

To help protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we endeavor to use reasonable security measures. These measures can include physical, technical and procedural safeguards such as computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We also endeavor to limit access to personal information to our employees, agents and representatives that need to know. CUSTOMER RIGHTS

Where you have provided us with your consent to use, store or disclose your information, you have the right to withdrawn your consent at any time by using the contact details below. If you do withdraw your consent, we will cease using that information unless we are required to continue to do so by law.

Western Union maintains your choice and transaction history based on our record retention policies. If you do not perform another transaction within the retention time period, your personal information, as well as your choice will be removed.

You have a right to (i) learn whether or not your İnformation is being processed, (ii) access and to request a copy of your information for which Western Union reserves the right to charge a small sum to the extent permitted by applicable law and request information relating to processing, (iii) request information related to purpose of the processing and whether your information is used in accordance with this purpose, (iv) know about the domestic and abroad transferees of your information, (v) request correction of data which was processed deficiently or incorrectly, (vi) request the erasing or destruction of personal data in the event that the grounds for processing have disappeared, (vii) request notification to the third party transferees of the transactions as per paragraphs (v) and (vi) above, (viii) object to the analysis of processed information only via automated systems resulting against you, and (ix) request indemnification, provided that you suffered damages due to processing of your information in breach of the applicable law.
