Oddments are currency obtained from Treasure Hunter. They can be used in the Marketplace, which can be opened by clicking on them. They can be stored in the currency pouch. An oddment can be valued at 16,414 coins based on the Grand Exchange value of a bond, a bond converting to 15 keys and keys being valued at 400 oddments.
Oddments are one of the possible rewards from completing Daily Challenges and then claiming its weekly reward track. Also obtainable during Beach events, Yak tracks, Christmas Advent Calendars, and as monthly reward (1,000) from Premier Club.

Rates[edit | edit source]
Every Treasure Hunter chest opened yields oddments. The amount yielded depends on the rarity of the prize and whether it is claimed or discarded. Discarding yields additional oddments and gives the message You discard your prize and are given oddments in its place.
Gem rarity | Base value (obtained when claimed) | Base value + convert value (obtained when discarded) | |
---|---|---|---|
Common | 5 | 30 (5 + 25) | |
Fairly common | 15 | 75 (15 + 60) | |
Uncommon | 25 | 145 (25 + 120) | |
Rare | 50 | 350 (50 + 300) | |
Very rare | 125 | 975 (125 + 850) | |
Ultra rare[1] | 1,000 | 2,000 (1,000 + 1,000) | |
Ultra-Rare[2] | 500 | 2,250 (500 + 1,750) |
- ^ Only a potential reward during the Crystal Capsules promotion.
- ^ During the Foresight promotion.
In August 2019 on Wednesdays (referred to as Oddments Wednesdays) all the base oddments values are doubled.[1] For example: opening a chest containing a 'rare' reward yields 100 x 2 = 200 oddments when claimed and 100 x 2 + 250 = 450 oddments when discarded, while opening a rune dragon chest containing a 'rare' reward yields 100 x 2 = 200 oddments when claimed and (100 x 2) + (250 x 3) = 950 oddments when discarded. This promotion was only for the single month.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- When first released in 2017, oddments were part of a Treasure Hunter promotion with the same name. Oddments could be earned again from 22 May 2018 to the end of June[2], but were no longer a Treasure Hunter promotion. Since 9 July they could be obtained once again.
- After the promotion ended in 2017, logging in with oddments owned prompted the message You have until the 14th August to use any leftover oddments before they are cleaned up. Any remaining oddments were converted automatically into 10 coins each upon logging in after the beginning of 14 August 2017.
- Prior to an update on 21 October 2019 the amount of oddments earned when claiming a prize was 10 for common, 20 for fairly common, 50 for uncommon, 100 for rare, 250 for very rare and 1000 for ultra rare; discarding a prize yielded double the aforementioned amounts. Additionally, on the same update any oddments a player possesed was doubled as a result of price changes in the Oddment Store.[3]
- The highest number of oddments one can potentially earn from a single chest is 8,000. This is by opening a double god dragon chest containing a 'purple' prize and then discarding it, on the Wednesdays.
- 15,000 oddments were given to all players on login after the update of 1 February 2021 along with the message: Following the connversion of Rare Item Tokens you have received: 15,000 Oddments. Limited and Current Rare Items are now available in the Oddments Store.
- The update allowed Ironman players access to the oddment stores, although most non-cosmetic items cannot be bought.
- Items with practical use that can be bought by ironman include: water lycan, fire lycan, leprechaun hat, sunglasses, and flaming skull. Several weapons can be bought but they are limited to minimal stats on ironman.
