As they're essentially instructions that point MetaMask in the correct direction (towards an RPC endpoint), all the networks you add are removable. Note that preloaded networks like Ethereum mainnet and Linea can't be removed.
Follow the steps below for the platform you're using:
Extension
Mobile
Click the network selector in the top left to bring up the list of networks you've previously added. Find the network you want to remove and click the cross that appears when you hover over it.
Click 'Delete' on the menu that appears.
If you need to re-add a network, just follow the same steps you used to add it originally: via Chainlist or manually.
Please note that testnets will be displayed automatically and cannot be removed. If you don't want to see them, there's a toggle in settings that allows you to hide them. See here for instructions.
Tap the gear icon in the tab bar to open settings.
Find 'Networks' in the settings menu.
You'll now see a list of the networks you've previously added to your MetaMask. Tap on the network you want to remove to open further details, and then tap 'Delete' at the bottom of the screen.
If you'd like to remove MetaMask from your browser, just right-click the browser extension icon and click "Remove from Chrome" (this process will be similar for all web browsers). On mobile, simply remove the app as you would any other, and according to how you normally would on your device.
When you open your MetaMask wallet, you will be able to see your current network at the top of the display. You can click on the down arrow next to where your current network is mentioned. After dropping down, you will see a list of different available networks.
On the lock screen, tap 'Reset wallet'. A warning message will appear, reminding you to not proceed unless you have your Secret Recovery Phrase securely recorded. Tap through and then type 'delete' in the field in the subsequent screen to confirm your intention.
In your MetaMask app, click the cogwheel icon in the lower right corner of the interface.Scroll down until you see the 'Delete MetaMetrics data' button. Clicking this button will delete MetaMetrics data associated with your use on that specific device. Keep in mind that this process may take up to 30 days.
If you haven't done this already, to cancel the transaction, simply select Cancel, as in the screenshot above. Please note, a cancellation can only be attempted if the transaction is still pending on the network. Transactions that have already been confirmed cannot be reversed.
For information on removing accounts in MetaMask, see here. Head to Settings > Accounts. Now, find the account you want to remove and click the three vertical dots next to it to access the 'More actions' menu.In this menu, simply hit 'Remove account'.
