By default, every Google Drive account comes with 15GB of free storage space. But if you want to increase that amount, you can subscribe to Google One and unlock up to 30TB of space.
Once you've subscribed to Google One, it doesn't take long to cancel it. And even after you cancel, you'll still get to keep your storage space until your next billing date.
Here's how to cancel a Google One plan and stop paying for Google Drive.

How to cancel your Google Drive storage subscription
The exact way you cancel your Google One plan depends on what device you originally used to sign up.
If you signed up on your computer or Android
Here, you've got two ways to unsubscribe: Using the Google One website, or the Google One Android app.
If you want to use the website, head to the Google One homepage and log into your account. Once you're signed in, click the gear icon in the top-right corner. This will open the Google One settings page, where you can then select a Cancel membership option. Click Cancel again, and then Cancel membership one last time.
If you want to use your Android phone, download the Google One app — it might already be installed — and use it to log into your Google account. Once it's open, tap the three stacked lines in the top-left corner, and then Settings. Scroll down and select Cancel membership, then confirm you really want to cancel it.

If you signed up on your iPhone or iPad
Apple is pretty strict when it comes to signing up for subscriptions using their devices. So if you signed up for Google One on an iPhone or iPad, you almost certainly did it using your Apple ID.
Using your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app and tap your Apple ID name at the top of the menu. Select the Subscriptions option, then tap either the Google Drive or Google One option.
Once it's open, select the Cancel Subscription option and confirm that you really want to end it.
