Smart motion sensing. Sense can detect changes in WiFi waves or notice when a device rejoins the HomePass network. Users can get alerts for expected events like a child's phone coming online after school, or receive alerts for unexpected motion while on vacation.
Sense™ detects the disturbances in Wi-Fi signals between your SuperPods or between a SuperPod™ and a motion capable device. These disturbances in the signal are translated into Motion events, which you can use to keep yourself aware of activity in your home.
Sense uses Wi-Fi to more quickly download apps from the Fitbit Gallery and for faster, more reliable OS updates. Sense can connect to open, WEP, WPA personal, and WPA2 personal Wi-Fi networks.
WiFi sensing (also referred to as WLAN sensing) uses existing Wi-Fi signals to detect events or changes such as motion, gesture recognition, and biometric measurement (e.g. breathing).

If the water level seems too low or doesn't seem to fill completely, auto-sensing helps stabilize the water used. The washer senses the size of the load and adds the correct amount of water for the load size. You may notice during a cycle that the wash load is not completely submerged in water.
Sense gives you an unprecedented view of your home. It empowers you to use energy more efficiently and reduce energy waste. So you can do your part for the environment while saving on your electric bill.
A device like the Sense Home Energy Monitor discovers the unique electrical signatures of the electrical devices in your home. The Sense monitor works by breaking those signatures down to tell you how much electricity each device is using. Other HEMs use sensors on each electrical circuit of your home.
