Learn how to temporarily block a card. You can also permanently block a card and order a replacement. It’s quick and easy to do online.
Things to know about blocking your card
- If you can’t find your card, you can put a temporary block on your card while you try to find it. This will stop anyone from being able to use the card while you look for it. If you do find your card, you can easily lift the temporary block.
- If you still can’t find your card, or you know that it has been stolen, you can permanently block a card and order a replacement.
- You’ll be able to continue to make digital payments while your card is temporarily blocked, or if you’ve ordered a replacement card until you get your new physical card.
- Using the NAB app or NAB Internet Banking is the quickest way to block and replace a lost or stolen card. If you don’t have access to do it online, you can call us 24 hours a day.
