This is a much-loved food combination in several regions of the U.S. If you don’t live in one of those regions and it sounds strange to you, this sandwich could be a game changer.

Aldi carries a few varieties of veggie burgers—but be sure to check the packaging, as some are made with dairy cheese. Most of Earth Grown’s vegan products are clearly labeled as such in the upper corner of the package, and they also have a “Certified Vegan” stamp on the box.
If you’re really craving a vegan cheeseburger, you’re in luck: Aldi also carries Earth Grown Vegan Shredded Dairy-Free Mozzarella. Buy some and sprinkle it on your burger!

In addition to these tasty frozen bars, also available in forest fruit and caramel varieties, Aldi carries almond milk–based pints in chocolate, mocha fudge, and vanilla flavors, along with several varieties of ice cream sandwiches. That’s a lot of deliciousness without animal suffering. Cows used in the dairy industry are separated from their babies, and a mother cow’s maternal instinct is so strong that she’ll actually fight to keep her calf safe with her. Thankfully, all these ice cream choices are dairy-free.

Aldi also carries packaged organic greens (including baby arugula, baby spinach, mixed greens, spring mix, and chopped kale), frozen organic fruits (strawberries and blueberries), and basic vegan proteins that can serve as building blocks for your meals.
