I have not had a chance to update this review yet, but please know that this Yotta review below is out of date and no longer applies due to all of the changes in the app. From what I can see so far, the Yotta app is very, very different from what it used to be when it first started. There are a lot of problems with the app currently and I do not recommend signing up right now. I did personally withdraw all of my earnings and savings out of this account today (May 11, 2024).

How does the Yotta Savings app work?
After reading all of the above about Yotta Savings, I’m sure you are interested in how exactly the savings app works.
Using Yotta is easy. You start by:
- Making a deposit. You select your bank to make a deposit from and for every $25 that you save, you get a ticket into weekly number draws. So, if you deposit $100, then you get 4 tickets every week for as long as you keep that $100 in your account without needing to make any new deposits.
- Every Monday, you pick 7 numbers for each of your tickets. If you don’t pick numbers, that’s fine as well – your ticket will be automatically picked if you don’t complete it in time. These are your Yotta Ball numbers.
- Contests are done weekly, with one number drawn every night at 9pm ET. On Sunday, the final number is drawn and winnings for the week are made.
- Finally, you can win up to $10,000,000. The more numbers you match, then the more money you win. If you match all 7 numbers with the numbers that are drawn, then you win the $10,000,000 jackpot.
What’s great about Yotta is that your savings still grow at a rate of 0.20% (this is the Yotta Savings rate). If you include the value of prizes where they’re currently set, you get over 3% all-in on your savings, which is the highest rate that I have seen. The Yotta Savings interest rate is great, as you can tell, as the Yotta Savings APY is the highest currently once you factor in the prizes.
That is twice as much as traditional banks, plus you can set aside money in a separate account and play their contest with no risk.

What is the Yotta Savings interest rate?
The Yotta Savings interest rate is0.20% plus the value of the prizes that you win.
If you include the value of prizes where they’re currently set, you may receive over 3% all-in on your savings, which is the highest rate that I have seen.

How often does Yotta pay interest?
Here’s what Yotta says about this: While technically it is not interest with a Yotta Savings account, you receive a Yotta savings reward every month that is similar to interest. The savings rewards that you earn with your Yotta account are paid on the first of the month and are based on your average balance in Yotta from the previous month.
Is Yotta Savings legit? Is Yotta Savings safe?

How does the Yotta Savings lottery work?
I gave information above on how the Yotta Savings contest works, but here is more information in case you are wondering:
- Yotta contests occur weekly, with one number drawn each night at 9 p.m. in the Yotta Savings app. Contests start on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET and end on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET. Then, everyone Sunday, the final number is chosen and your Yotta Savings winnings will be totaled.
- The numbers are completely random. Yotta Savings works with a 3rd party “A” rated insurance carrier that randomly draws the numbers using a state-of-the-art random number generator. This insurance carrier is not affiliated with Yotta, and have no ability to see what numbers Yotta Savings members have chosen. So, you know you are safe and can rely on this third-party insurance company to be honest.
- You can get tickets into Yotta Savings weekly drawing by receiving a recurring ticket for every $25 that you deposit. So, if you have $25 in a Yotta Savings account, you will receive one ticket every single week.
- If you forget to pick your weekly numbers, your tickets will simply be automatically picked for you randomly.
- When you win money through Yotta Savings, your winnings simply get deposited into your Yotta Savings account. You can simply withdraw your winnings when you would like to.
- You can also get one ticket by sending in a handwritten request. Pool Play on Yotta Savings is a new feature. Pool Play increases your changes of winning in the Yotta Savings app, as you can join groups with friends and share Yotta prizes.

“With Pool Play, you choose a portion of your tickets that you want to allocate to a group. Let’s say you allocate 10 tickets and your other friends allocate 90 tickets. How do I get my money out of Yotta? How long does it take to get money out of Yotta?
It’s easy to make a withdrawal from your Yotta Savings account. You simply go to the Yotta app on your cell phone and click on the bank icon at the bottom. Then, click on the withdraw button.
It then takes around 2-3 days for your funds to transfer to your bank account.
Is Yotta Savings worth it? – My Yotta Savings Review
