You can insert, update, or delete links in the Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides app.
Add a link
- Open a file in the Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides app.
- Docs: Tap Edit .
- Highlight text or tap the area in the file where you want the link to appear.
- In the top right, tap Create .
- Tap Link.
- In the "Text" field, type the text you want to be linked.
- In the "Link" field, enter a URL or email address, or search for a website.
- To save, tap Done .
Change or remove a link
- Open a file in the Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides app.
- Docs:Tap Edit .
- Tap the text, cell, or shape with the link you want to remove.
- To remove the link, tap Remove link. To change the link, tap Edit LinkorMore Edit link.
Add a bookmark
Bookmarks are not available on Android; you’ll have to use a computer.
