SInce the Game Mode was deployed in the latest Creators Update of Windows 10 part of the users complained about stuttering and lags suddenly occurring in games. Although Game Mode was a probable suspect there was no hard evidence and all stories were anecdotal.
Most gamers experiencing the bug were laughed at and got the answer 'Game Mode works fine for me'. Needless to say that Microsoft tried to hype their newest feature but independent tests showed a performance increase of 1 to 2 percent at best.
Now, after months of silence, Microsoft promised to fix the bug in the next Creators Update.
I say good work Microsoft keeping the issue under wraps for so long and taking their sweet time to fix it.
