Before we know the Importance of Quality in our Personal Life and Professional Life, we need to understand, what is Quality, which one we called as Personal Life, which one is Professional Life. If we understand these three terms then it is very easy for us to know Why the Quality is Important in our Personal and Professional life.
Quality is to meet the Purpose
There should be a purpose for everyone, every activity, every attempt, every action and all. Without Purpose there would not be any product, there would not be any service nor there is a life. Every person must have a purpose to live.
Suppose a Motorcycle – what could be its Purpose to come in the market. May be Comfortable, Safe, Mileage, Lower Cost, Stylish etc... Suppose that Motorcycle meets one or all of its purpose then we called as Quality Product. Quality Motorcycle. It is a standard Motorcycle.
Suppose a Person – what could be his or her Purpose to live. May be Honesty, Integrity, Focused, Passionate, Empathetic, Learner, Initiative, Listener, Creative etc… If that person is meets one or all of its purpose then we called as Best Person, Quality Person etc…
Suppose a Home Delivery service – What could be its Purpose. May be at right time, right quantity at right place delivery. If this service meets one or all of its purpose then we called as Quality Service
We can say that Quality is an outcome – a characteristic of a product or service or a person. It is the standard of something as measured against other things of a similar kind; the degree of excellence of something.
Qualityis doing the right things right at right time and is uniquely defined by each individual.
Here suppose that Motorcycle could not start or could not run speedily when are in rush then you could not call this is Quality Motorcycle. In same way if the person is not performed as per the requirement or as per expectation then he or she is not a Right Person. If the waiter of hotel unable to serve all the things prior to serve ordered food then its service is very bad.
Quality is a Standard. If the specification, processes are well described and there were not any compromise then we referred as Quality Product / Service / Person.
Quality is a Cost. Quality is a Price. Production of Quality Product costs more, however it is not applicable to technology as the history says most of cheaper technology have higher Quality. If we wish to be a Quality Person then we need to invest a lot on self in terms of time and money for learning, practicing. And if consumers are not willing to purchase due to its price then its not a Quality Product or Service. A person for whom you feel great affection and who you found comfortable to communicate then we describe as Priceless.
Quality is an Experience. When Product or Service or a Person’s Time is traded then it is not that, it’s the experience only which is traded in the current market. Now the consumer behaviour has changed. They are not only looking for the good product or service but also they are looking for good experience while deal with that.
Quality is Value for Money. As Time is Money, we can say that Quality is Value for Time. As a seeker / buyer, person always expects to get as desired, beyond his expectations.
Personal life of a person is something his / her relationship, activities, interests – distinct for their public / professional life. Not sharing anything with others in any platform. All things they kept within the four boundaries of their home or within their Heart / Brain.
Professional life of a person is something where he / sheput his / her energy or we can say that performing a job, make a strategy to get the work done and all those things to get some economic benefit.
The only difference in Personal Life and Professional Life is only dealing with People and dealing with Work.
