How do you answer what makes you qualified? ›

Focus on factual statements about your experience and skills, and how they apply to the job requirements. Use phrases like "I've successfully managed..." or "My experience in... has prepared me for..." and always back up your claims with concrete examples or results from your past work.

When answering this interview question, focus on the skills and qualities you possess that most closely align with the needs and requirements of the role. For example: Hard or soft skills, like software expertise or excellent customer service skills. Qualities like dedication, determination and perseverance.

Qualifications include the education, experience, skills and personal qualities you bring to the table. Talk about 3-4 qualifications you have that match the job description. Paint a picture of what you have to offer and how you'll be successful in that role based on these qualifications. Discuss the company's mission or vision and how you genuinely align yourself to it.

Sample answer: “I did an internship at XYZ Company while getting my bachelor's degree in business administration. After graduation, I was offered a job there and gradually worked up to my current position as Key Account Manager.

In particular, my ability to work to tight deadlines and manage my time effectively make me a good fit for the role. For example, in my current job I have to manage my own workload, taking briefs from colleagues in multiple departments and creating a priority order that keeps everyone satisfied.

Each entry level qualification is available at three sub-levels - 1, 2 and 3. Entry level 3 is the most difficult. Entry level qualifications are: entry level award, certificate, diploma.

Make a list of all the skills and qualities that make you a great candidate for the job. Things like communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and so on. Don't skip anything - write down every skill you can think of, both technical skills for your field and broader soft skills.
