Scheduling appointments and bookings as an entrepreneur can be a nightmare—so it’s no surprise that many platforms have come out easing the process for business owners.
Squarespace now has its own calendar booking system, which adds to the already all-in-one platform this website builder has become recently.
Acuity was one of the first scheduling platforms I came across in my business, and it has recently become “Squarespace Scheduling.”
If you’re wondering, “Is Acuity now Squarespace Scheduling?” the answer is yes!
In this post, I’ll go over everything you need to know about Squarespace scheduling, from what it is to its third-party app integration capabilities and pricing.

The Squarespace Scheduling platform encompasses “Tools that take the hassle out of online scheduling, booking, and payments.”
Squarespace Scheduling allows users to view your availability and choose an appointment that works best for both their schedule as well as yours. Users can also book and pay for classes through the program.
For this reason, Squarespace Scheduling is a huge time saver for busy business owners, and eliminates the frustrating back-and-forth of scheduling meetings—and the hassle of payment, cancelation, and rescheduling.
Benefits of Squarespace Scheduling
There are numerous benefits to this scheduling platform, which I will outline below in detail if you are on the fence about using the platform, or simply want to know more about what SS offers.
Integrates with your own calendar
Squarespace Scheduling can automatically update events and create new ones in the calendars you use for yourself, from Google to Office 365.
This makes it easier to stay organized and avoid missing appointments, and eliminates the need for you to copy everything over to your other calendars.
Automated confirmations and reminders
Squarespace Scheduling sends automated confirmations and reminders to those who use it to book a meeting or appointment with you, ensuring they do not miss their appointment (and curbing needless follow-up emails asking if you received their booking.)
In addition, this service confirms changed or rescheduled appointments for your clients via email or text (depending on your plan.)
Can take payments for paid calls
If you offer paid calls, such as consultations, or 1:1 coaching, Squarespace Scheduling can take payments for you at the time of the booking.
For this reason, there is no need to send invoices after, and you can be sure that everyone who has booked an appointment with you has already paid upfront. Stripe and Paypal are two of the payment services that work with the platform, which provide flexible options for clients.
Add a questionnaire so you can gain the info you need before the call
If your meeting with a client requires you to know some information about them, their goals, or a project before the call (such as if you’re a website designer!) Squarespace Scheduling can help.
You can add a short questionnaire to the booking page on the scheduling suite in order to collect all the info you need preceding the call.
This capability is especially useful for designers of any sort (such as website designers,) or coaches who are ready to begin working with a new client and need to find out more about them before an official meeting.
Connect your video conferencing tool
You can also connect GoToMeeting, Zoom, or JoinMe to SS, allowing for easy face-to-face communication if phone calls aren’t your thing.
This is super helpful for keeping everything in one place and eliminating the need for sending links over email (which always seem to get buried by the time of the meeting!)
Third-Party Tools that Integrate with Squarespace Scheduling
Squarespace Scheduling allows for integration with a variety of third-party tools, such as Google Analytics (for tracking conversions and visits,) Stripe (for accepting payments,) Outlook (for email and calendar integration,) and more.
I love this about SS because it truly makes things easier and more cohesive in my clients’ businesses, which is a major plus for busy entrepreneurs.
Pricing
Squarespace Scheduling pricing starts as low as $14 per month, and can be as much as $45 per month. Here is a simple pricing breakdown to help you understand which plan might be best for you.
The “Emerging” plan is $14 per month with annual pricing, and allows for one calendar for each person on your team. It also offers calendar syncing, custom payment settings and card vaulting. It also allows you to accept payments from your clients with payment processors like Stripe, Square, or PayPal, and sends clients automatic emails.
The “Growing” plan is $23 per month with annual pricing, and allows for two to six calendars for each person on your team. It allows for everything included in the “Emerging” plan, but also includes SMS/text reminders and packages, gift certificates, memberships, and subscriptions.
Lastly, the “Powerhouse” plan is $45 per month when paid annually, and allows for seven to thirty-six calendars for each person on your team. It, of course, includes everything in the “Growing” and “Emerging” plans, but also offers multiple time zones, custom API + CSS, and HIPAA compliance options.
Is Squarespace Scheduling Worth It?
While I do not use this scheduling platform for my own business, I think it is totally worth it for anyone looking for Squarespace to be an all-in-one platform.
As a Squarespace and Showit website designer, I am always looking for ways to help my clients run better, more efficient websites—and SS has certainly been a favorite for many of the business owners I’ve worked with in the past.
While it does have its limitations, specifically in the less expensive plans, it does offer scheduling solutions for busy entrepreneurs that integrate directly with their Squarespace website.
