How do I view the WBS budget in SAP? ›

To display the budget line items for a WBS element, choose Logistics or Accounting -> Project System -> Controlling -> Budgeting -> Original budget -> Change . The Change Original Budget: Initial Screen appears. Enter the necessary data and choose Continue or Original budget . Choose the WBS Element overview.

Work breakdown structure levels

At each level the WBS elements should normally be specific deliverables. Level “0” is the end product of the project. Level “l” may be components of the end product but may also be a document that portrays the results, conclusions or recommendations of a phase of the project.

To renumber WBS codes for all tasks, don't select any tasks. Click Project. In the Properties group, click WBS and then click Renumber. Click Selected tasks to renumber the codes for the tasks you selected.

SAP delivers predefined plan categories for budgeting, such as BUDGET02 for Cost Center Budgeting . For these plan categories, budget checks can be defined. If these budget checks are active, the system checks whether budget is still available and/or whether current actual amounts are less than planned amounts.
