Visual Identity Verification is a process used to verify and authenticate your identity, in order to secure your Payoneer account and prevent fraud.
We ask you to provide Visual Identity Verification to make sure it is really you using your account and not someone else posing as you or who has signed into your account.
In order to secure your account, you’ll need to provide a copy of your government-issued photo ID and take a selfie photo.
Since we’re using a dedicated platform to verify your visual identity, it is required that you upload your government-issued ID along with your selfie photo.
Payoneer uses the AU10TIX identity verification tool to collect your visual identity information. AU10TIX processes your biometric data to uniquely identify you as a natural person by using your selfie photo to carry out specific technical processing for the purposes of facial recognition and identification.
Visual identity verification also involves automated decision-making by verifying your identity by technological means without human involvement. As soon as the identity verification procedure has been completed, there shall be no further processing of your selfie photo and your biometric data will be securely deleted by Au10tix.
Your Visual Identity Verification review will take up to 3 business days.
Please note that if you choose to opt out of the Visual Identity Verification procedure, review times will be extended.
You have an option to opt out of uploading a selfie via the Visual Identity Verification platform and choose an alternative procedure.
If you prefer not to provide your visual identity information using the AU10TIX identity verification tool, you’ll need to do so via Payoneer Customer Support.
Note that choosing this option may delay your identity approval by up to 5 business days, as it will require your documents to go through manual review.
If you prefer this option, please contact us at your earliest convenience.
We highly recommend using the Visual Identity Verification option, as it will shorten review times.

On desktop:
Check your browser’s settings to make sure your browser has access to use your web camera with Payoneer’s website.
If you’re still experiencing technical issues, we recommend scanning the QR code (using the camera on your mobile device) and trying to upload your selfie using your mobile phone.
Please make sure that your face is clearly visible in the middle of the image. You will have the option to re-take the picture.
