One way to understand money as energy is to liken it to the flow of energy in the natural world. In the same way that energy sustains life by moving through ecosystems, money sustains economies by circulating through various channels.

In essence, your energy is very valuable, it's like money. You should only invest your time and energy into things that provide a return. The return you are looking for is that “YOU” get something out of it, whether it is money, or more energy, or personal fulfillment.

Money and security are primarily governed by the lower 3 chakras (the Root, the Sacral and the Solar plexus). If the root chakra is imbalanced, you either hoard money or don't think about it at all. If the sacral chakra is imbalanced, you spend money like crazy, or feel really guilty spending any money on yourself.

Money is a social power that operates at all levels - formal, informal, legitimate, illegitimate, fundamental, surface, regional and global. Not all social powers have that capacity. Conventional economic theories see the function of money as a means of exchange, unit of account and store of value.

One of the reasons that people crave money is that it gives its owner power – to do whatever they choose, to buy freedom, loyalty and a range of other desirables. But what few people realise is that money has another power – to reveal who you really are.
