This document shows how employees of an organization can uninstall theEndpoint Verification extension from their devices.
To uninstall the Endpoint Verification extension, do the following:
- On your device, open Chrome browser.
- Click More more_vert>More Tools > Extensions.
- On the Endpoint Verification extension, click Remove.You can use the search bar to find the extension.
- Click Remove to confirm.
Check if your device has the Endpoint Verification helper app installed:
If your device has the Endpoint Verification helper app, you must uninstall thehelper app.
To check if your device has the Endpoint Verification helper app and uninstallthe helper app, do the following:
Mac
- Open Finder and go to Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Google.
- To check if the helper app is installed, look for the EndpointVerification folder.
- If you find the Endpoint Verification folder, drag theEndpoint Verification folder into Trash.
- Click Finder > Empty Trash.
Windows
- Click Start > Control Panel.
- Click Programs > Programs and Features.
- To check if the helper app is installed, look for Google EndpointVerification.
- If you find Google Endpoint Verification, double-click Google EndpointVerification and then click Uninstall.
Linux
- Click Activities and enter terminal to open a terminal.
To check if the helper app is installed, run the following command andlook for endpoint-verification.
apt list --installed
To remove the helper app, run the following command:
$sudo apt-get remove endpoint-verification
