Introduction
Tron (TRX) is a blockchain platform that has two major roles, the first role and function it has is that it is used as an online platform to share content, and the second function it has is that users can, without the need of third parties create their own applications. These two characteristics of Tron plus the fact that it’s trying to make the internet decentralised has many drown to it. In this article we will be looking at the Tron price history to see how it has changed over the years.
Tron History
First, we are going to outline the major event of Tron being launched for the first time and the amount of Tronix which came in to circulation, and then move on to the price it had in the next section. For Tron analysis (تحلیل ارز ترون) got to this link.
In an initial coin offering in 2017 Tron managed to raise $60 million and the tokens were assigned like this:
1)Private sales investors received 15.75 billion Tronix.
2)ICO investors received 40 billion Tronix.
3)34 billion Tronix went to the Tron Foundation, which is a non-profit that guides the development of Tron.
4)10 billion Tronix went to Peiwo Huanle Technology Co., Justin Sun’s company in Beijing.
5)The Tron foundation then destroyed or what also known as burned 1 billion Tronix once the main net launched.
As of now there are 100 billion Tronix in circulation but unlike bitcoin which has a set limit of coins that can come in to circulation, Tron has no limit and this number could increase in the near or far future.

Tron price history
In September 2017 Tron was first created as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, it later moved to the Tron blockchain in 2018, through an initial coin offering (ICO). Its price at the time was around $0.002 and didn’t have much fluctuations for the first three months. You can check out Ethereum price (قیمت اتریوم) here.
Tron price history 2017/18:
The first major price movement Tron had was in December 2017 when it soared to $0.04 and its market cap went over $1 billion for the first time ever. This led to even bigger gains for Tron, since it surged 400% in less than a week reaching its all-time high on January 5th2018, at $0.21. Tron’s market cap also hit its highest price ever when it reached $14 billion.
However, these gains didn’t last long and Tron’s price plummeted to under $0.06 losing almost three quarters of the value it had. Tron was having fluctuations leading up to April when it finally had another surge in price and reached $0.10, although it seemed it couldn’t get passed this number. Tron couldn’t keep its price at $0.10 and soon it fell back to $0.02.
Tron price history 2019/20:
2019 and 2020 the price of Tron didn’t have as many dramatic highs and lows, in June 2019 it went up to $0.04, however it didn’t keep it up there, and it fell 45% in a single day and by March 2020 it was under $0.01. This fall led Tron to grow in a steady pace for the next few months and by the start of September it had doubled its price, but again this didn’t last long and TRX had another crash. The rest of the year Tron had many fluctuations and was very volatile.
Tron price history 2021/22:
From the beginning of 2021, Tron had a good start and managed to reach and break $0.06 after three years. April marked a new peak for Tron reaching $0.16, which is a 400% growth in its price. However, Tron couldn’t preserve this amount and by the end of the year it had dropped down to $0.07. As of now the price of Tron has reached in December 2022 the price of Tron has come down to and is trading around $0.05.
Conclusion
In conclusion Tron price history shows what a great start it had when it was first launched starting at $0.002 and reaching an all-time high of $0.21. Although it hasn’t maintained that level and is now at $0.05 it is still growth from when it was first launched and maybe after this crypto winter it will gain more value.
