UK heatwave: Security expert warns of threat of burglary
When choosing a place to live, numerous factors must be taken into account including property costs, employment prospects, lifestyle options, and, of course, safety and security.
The frequency of reported break-ins or other theft-related crimes in the area where homeowners live or want to buy is one safety factor to take into account.
In order to determine which local authority regions in the UK are the safest to live in, Hiatt Hardware recently studied crime data from 2022 across all local authority areas.
This analysis was based on the number of robberies, burglaries, vehicle offences, and thefts from persons per 100,000 people to find where in the UK is the safest area to live.
