The new Nexon seems to be even more popular than ever with the heavily facelifted version snatching the title of being India's best-selling car. For December, the Nexon has sold a whopping 15,284 units and that means it overtook every car on sale in terms of sheer numbers.
Compared to November, the new Nexon also sold more at 14,916 units vs the same period last year. With the launch of the new model, sales have skyrocketed and it also includes the electric version.

The recently launched new Nexon comes with a new look which is also the design theme with other Tata cars and the EV version also comes with further differences. The new Nexon also comes with added features including a large digital instrument cluster, a larger touchscreen, and addition of premium features like a 360-degree camera, connected car tech, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, a voice-assisted sunroof, and more along with six airbags as standard.
The updated Nexon EV also gets an even larger touchscreen now along with a new battery plus range is now better too. The standard ICE Nexon comes with a 1.2l turbo petrol and a 1.5l diesel while with the recently updated version, there has been a new DCT gearbox being added to the range along with the AMT/standard manual gearboxes.
The ICE Nexon starts at Rs 8.10 lakh and goes to Rs 15.5 lakh while the EV version retails at Rs 14.7 lakh to Rs 19.9 lakh. The growing sales of the Nexon represent the trend of buyers shifting increasingly to SUVs now and the higher aspirational value that it has.
