What is the SS100CS?

What security level is the SS100CS?
Undergoing rigorous in-house and independent attack testing, the SS100CS is accredited to LPCB Level SR4 and CEN 6 Plus approved. It’s also Sold Secure Motorcycle Diamond approved when paired with a 22mm security chain, like with our Behemoth padlock and chain set (SS100CS/TC22/5).
These accreditations mean that this high-security padlock is able to endure dedicated attacks from angle grinders, drills and hammers for over ten minutes.

What are the benefits of the dual key system?
The SS100CS features a dual key system, making it twice as hard for thieves to break into. With two 6-pin cylinders offering a combined total of 625 million potential key differs, cracking open this imposing padlock would take a long time for even the most skilled of lock pickers.
We’ve also made it so that the SS100CS can be keyed alike, master keyed and keyed to differ. When keyed to differ, the SS100CS needs both keys to open, making it an ideal choice for high-security areas requiring controlled access.

How is the SS100CS made?
Made in our factory right here in Wolverhampton, the SS100CS undergoes strict quality checks at every stage of the lock-making process. Check out the video below for a full review and step-by-step of how the SS100CS is made, courtesy of our friends over at MTDCNC.
Can the SS100CS be cut?
The closed shackle is made from 20mm of hardened boron alloy steel, offering maximum resistance that makes the SS100CS extremely difficult to cut. In fact, it would probably be easier for thieves to break whatever you’re attaching the padlock to, so make sure you choose something secure.
What is the best chain to use with the SS100CS?
We highly recommend pairing this padlock with a 22mm chain, as this will give you a Sold Secure Motorcycle Diamond approved padlock and chain set. If you want to ensure your combination will deliver the ultimate at-home protection, our Behemoth (SS100CS/TC22/5) has been thoroughly attack tested and combines the SS100CS with a 1500mm long hardened alloy steel chain.
What do I use the SS100CS for?
This padlock is ideal for delivering tough security at home or work, including everywhere from garages and warehouses to gates and high-security doors. The heavyweight design is able to withstand prolonged attacks, making it an excellent choice for areas with low footfall where thieves would have time to carry out dedicated assaults using power tools.
So, is the SS100CS the world’s strongest padlock?
Our family has been making locks since 1780, and we’re constantly innovating and finding new ways to help put a stop to theft through tough security solutions. The Stronghold SS100CS is a testament to this heritage. Our strongest padlock to date and the first-ever padlock to achieve LPCB Level SR4 accreditation, this is the world’s strongest padlock.
