*Major spoilers for season 2 of The Umbrella Academy below!*
Here's everything you need to know about The Umbrella Academy's powers...
Number One / Luther / Spaceboy
Luther's power is super strength, which he has had since birth. After a botched mission that almost left him dead, he was given a serum that changed him to be half-ape and made him bigger and stronger.
Number Two / Diego / The Kraken
Diego is able to manipulate how he throws objects with near perfect accuracy. He is also able to able to do this to any objects that his enemies throw against him, including bullets, while gives him the chance to dodge them. He is also able to hold his breath for a long time and was trained to be a better at hand-to-hand combat than his siblings.
Number Three / Allison / The Rumor
Allison's power is known as "rumor." By starting a sentence with the phrase, "I heard a rumor," she is able to make someone do whatever she wants, good or bad. She openly used the power a lot, but stopped after trying it on her daughter one night. In season 2, her voice recovers after it was damaged in a fight with Vanya and it is revealed that someone else can rumor her back if they have the same ability.
Number Four / Klaus / The Séance
Klaus is able to talk to the dead and bring their spirit to the real world as a physical entity for a short amount of time. He is only able to do this when he is sober and often struggles with interacting with the dead on a daily basis.
Number Five / The Boy
Five's power allows him to jump through space and time. He is able to teleport through various distances, which he often used to get out of the way of dangerous objects and sneak up on people. However, he eventually learned how to jump through time and was able to make it to the future. His time travel abilities aren't perfect and he only uses it when he absolutely has to. In season two, he practices his abilities more and is able to turn back time for a couple of seconds.
Number Six / Ben / The Horror
Ben is the most mysterious of the bunch since we never really got the chance to meet him. However, his power enables him to release octopus-like monsters from his body that can attack his enemies. In season two, he is able to go into someone's subconscious to help them, which he does with Vanya. However, his spirit wasn't able to stay there long and he ended up moving on to the other side. In the season two finale, it's revealed that another Ben exists at Sparrow Academy in the presumably alternate timeline.
Number Seven / Vanya / The White Violin
Vanya is seemingly the most powerful of all her siblings, which is likely the reason why her father kept them a secret from her. She is able to manipulate sound waves and use them to destroy objects or pick stuff up. She is able to use anything from her own heartbeat to the sound from her violin to manipulate sound waves. Her abilities allow her to also float to cover more ground and cause more damage. In season two, it's discovered that she is also able to pass on her power to others if she brings them back to life. That person will ultimately be tied to Vanya. She is able to remove the connection herself, however, it may still leave the person with her powers. In the finale, Harlan can still be seen with some of Vanya's power as he and Sissy drive away.
