PASSWORD PROTECTED OFFERS
Overview
Fans may be required to enter an offer passcode (or password) to access exclusive ticket deals set aside for them by Ticketmaster clients. When a ticket deal requires a passcode, fans must enter a valid passcode to view and purchase tickets. Partners who want to offer these exclusive deals to fans will need to update their UI to allow fans to enter a passcode and their backend services to send the passcode with inventory and reserve API requests.
Partners must perform the following steps to integrate this offer type:
- Provide the ability for fans to enter an offer passcode in your UI.
- Send the passcode in your inventory request to unlock the tickets.
- Channel partners: use the Availability API
- Open Inventory partners: use the Top Picks API
- Send the passcode in the Partner API Reserve Request
- Complete checkout
- Add delivery (if required for your API key)
- Add billing
- Commit the cart
- Support the error responses for Top Picks API, Availability API and Partner API
Top Picks API
The Top Picks API endpoint Top Picks Details [GET] will return password protected offers for the particular event id.
