Can you order food to your seat at MSG? ›

In 2014, Madison Square Garden implemented in-seat ordering. According to Hospitality Technology, the venue chose to partner with a digital point-of-sale system that would enable fans to order drinks, food, and merchandise from their personal devices.

Outside food and beverage (including sealed cans and bottles) are not permitted inside The Theater at MSG. Clear, soft-plastic, empty bottles are permitted. Accessible water fountains are located throughout the venue.

There are multiple concession stands found throughout the Chicago Theatre, including one located on each level of the facility. They typically offer a mixture of snacks and a whole host of beverages like bottled water, soft drinks, juice, wine, beer, and various liquors.

Madison Square Garden asks all guests to arrive early and travel light. Bags do not have to be clear, but they must fit comfortably under your seat. Oversized bags larger than 22” x 14” x 9” are prohibited. Madison Square Garden does not provide an area to check bags, coats or any other personal belongings.

Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 110, Section 111, Section 112 and Section 113.

Alcohol Serving and Consumption

Alcohol sales will be limited per customer per transaction, based on seating location. All guests may be required to show ID to purchase alcohol. Guests are not permitted to bring in alcoholic beverages from outside and may not leave with alcohol purchased inside MSG.

A number of Coca Cola products are available for purchase at MSG. For adult fans, both domestic ($11.50) and imported ($12.25) beer is available throughout the Garden, including Budweiser, Shock Top, and Brooklyn Lager. Mixed drinks ($12) can also be purchased in the concourse.

1.5 Customers may not bring their own food or drink into the theatre, but empty reusable water bottles will be permitted. If a customer has specific medical requirements in this respect they should ask to speak to a member of theatre management upon arrival.
