WHAT HAPPENED?
On April 14, 2023, TD Bank learned that one of its vendors, NCB Management Services, Inc., had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, NCB Management Services learned that sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to TD Bank’s customers may have been accessed on February 1, 2023. On May 12, 2023, TD Bank began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Address
- Account number
