How do I start sending payment links?
All you have to do is create a SumUp profile and you’re ready to get started. To send a payment link, create a checkout in the SumUp App, select Payment Links as the payment method and then share the link with your customer.
How do I know if I’ve received a payment?
It can be hard to keep tabs on outstanding payments and remember which customers owe what. You can track all of your sent payment links in the SumUp App – just go to ‘More’ in Payment Links to see a list of who’s paid and who you’re still waiting on.
Are payment links safe?
Yes, payment links are a completely safe way for your customers to pay – and for you to get paid. Customers pay using our online payment system that uses 3D Secure 2, a security measure that helps to authenticate the identity of a customer and prevent fraudulent transactions.
How much does it cost?
There’s no subscription fee or contract to use Payment Links, you’ll just pay a 2.5% fee on every successful transaction.
Can anyone use Payment Links?
Unfortunately, we can’t offer the use of Payment Links to every type of business, as there are regulations we have to follow as a financial services company. You can find more information and a full list of restricted businesses – if your business falls into one of the listed categories and you’re already a SumUp merchant, please reach out to our Support Team.
