After analyzing locations in North Carolina with the highest per capita wealth, anew study from SmartAssethas shown that Dare and Currituck County are among the wealthiest in the Tarheel State.
The study measured the amount of investment income being generated in each county, in addition to the per capita income and median home value to find the wealthiest places.
Dare County has secured the #4 spot with an overall wealth index of 28.68, with Currituck trailing closely behind in the #6 spot with a wealth index of 26.11.
