You must have administrative access to the server operating system to use this procedure.

To start the server from the UNIX command line:

  1. Change directories to your HPE Service Manager Run directory. For example:
    cd /HPE/Service Manager x.xx/Run
  2. Type the following command:
    smstart
  3. Press ENTER.
