Spring Garden Classroom Decor - Spirited and Then Some (2024)

Spiriteds, I cannot tell a lie. When I created these Spring Garden classroom decor theme pieces, I wasn’t quite sure how I would be bring them all together. I had just finished the Spring Classroom Decor theme for what would technically be April (for those of you keeping track at home), and I wasn’t sure how this would stand on its own as the May theme.

But everything turned out just fine because these pieces are nothing short of:

  • Sweet
  • Inviting
  • Outdoorsy
  • Warm
  • Optimistic

If you like to…

  • Bring the outdoors in
  • Study plant and animal life cycles
  • Grow greens or blooms in your classroom

…then this theme is for YOU!

So let’s take a tour through these Spring Garden classroom decor pieces. Then you can see with your own eyes what’s blooming!

Spring Garden classroom decor resources include

Accent your materials with greenery, flowers (silk or real), classroom plant projects, and pinks, reds, greens, blues, and purples. This theme goes well with pastel colors as well as bold colors. So there’s a decent chance that classroom materials you already have on hand will look right at home next to these new materials!

Spring Garden classroom decor – digital resources

If you use Google slides on a regular basis or host a classroom website, then you’ll love the Spring Garden Google Slides and Spring Garden Google Sites templates. In addition to subject-specific headings, here is a sampling of other headers:

  • Welcome to Class!
  • Announcements
  • Our Schedule
  • When You Finish
  • One More Thing
  • Highlights
  • Reminders
  • To do:
  • Student Spotlight

Text editable slides are also included. This sweet slides set comes as a stand-alone item or as part of the Google Slides Templates Bundle {Seasonal}.

As for those Google Sites accents, you’ll be able to refresh your classroom website in no time flat! Materials include:

  • Text editable circle buttons
  • Text editable square buttons
  • BLANK square buttons
  • BLANK circle buttons
  • Pre-filled headers
  • Text editable headers
  • Pre-filled logo buttons
  • Text editable logo buttons
  • BLANK logo buttons

Please note, you’ll receive PNG files you can upload to an existing classroom website. If you’d like to change your classroom website periodically, then check out the Google Sites Template BUNDLE {Seasonal}. It’s a great way to keep your classroom website looking fresh without having to start from scratch every time.

Spring Garden bulletin board posters

I don’t know if it shows, but I’m particularly attached to my woodgrain bulletin board paper and watercolor rainbow bulletin board border. I use them with so many themes! The good news is, if you also like woodgrain paper and watercolor rainbows, then they’ll fit right alongside these materials!

You can also change up your bulletin board with white bulletin board paper and bulletin board borders of countless styles. Go bold with vibrant borders or muted with pastel borders. And if you still want to shake things up, then print off the bunting that comes with this bulletin board set, and stream it across the top of your bulletin board. Print off another copy and display it across the front of your desk! I use twine and clothespins to create a sturdy bunting setup, but you can use whatever materials suit your needs best.

Spring Garden classroom poster messages include:

  • Welcome to Our Strawberry Patch!
  • You Are Awesome!
  • The Best Is Yet to Bloom!
  • You Brighten My Day!
  • This Class Is The Cherry On Top!
  • You Make Me Smile!
  • Hello, Spring!
  • You Rock! Let
  • Your Ideas Soar!

You’ll notice, too, on the garden-themed posters there’s a cute little ladybug hiding on each one!

Spring Garden teacher binder covers

For the Spring classroom decor theme, I mentioned those April showers would turn into May flowers. And here we are. Blooms and greens and all kinds of new beginnings! Here’s a quick rundown of what you’ll get in this Spring Garden teacher binder covers resource:

  • Pre-filled and text editable binder covers
  • Text editable binder spines
  • Circle tags
  • Desk name plates
  • Table numbers

I’ve mentioned it before and I’ll mention it again. The circle tags are super-versatile. Add student pictures or names to each one and then use them as door decor. The desk name plates would make excellent tub labels, and the table numbers are large enough to be used as focus wall resources. Basically, with each resource, you’ll find countless possibilities. Customize text as needed, and then you’re set to go!

Spiriteds, take care of yourselves. And, depending on where you live, enjoy the promise of warmer weather, more sunshine, and new blooms. Of course, know that I’m glad you’re here! 🩷💜💚🩵
