WHERE IS IT? The axe is found during one of the quest branches you get at the Thirsk mead hall (if you chose to side with the Nords - "Retaking Thirsk"). Originally, what you find there is an axe embedded in stone, which cannot be removed - this mod adds in the axe as a Weapon, nothing else.
What happens if I tell Kuvar the truth? ›
If the Dragonborn came back to the Mead Hall after "Retaking Thirsk," they will have a chance to tell Kuvar what really happened. If they actually tell him that Hrothmund rejects Bujold, the two will have an argument and Bujold ends up being exiled into the wilds.

Speak to Bujold the Unworthy in Bujold's Retreat. Join the assault on Thirsk Mead Hall and defeat the rieklings. Meet her at Hrothmund's Barrow. Listen to her interaction with Hrothmund's spirit.
If players manage to keep it, the Sheogorath-Shaped Amber can then be used as an ingredient at the Atronach Forge found within The Midden at the College of Winterhold. Of course, the option also remains to instead simply keep the Sheogorath-Shaped Amber as a collectible.
