So I was checking the recent contacts in my Siri Suggestions and I noticed one person among the list I have no recollection contacting in months. However, this person's name was among a list of people I had all had an interaction with within the last 24 hours. Is there something I'm missing here? Is this something that happens frequently? Is it a glitch? Is there something about the search algorithm I'm not understanding?
The reason for my concern is that I want to make sure I didn't black out and contact this person or possibly someone got a hold of my phone and contacted them without my knowledge. If that's the case then I have a bigger problem to deal with.

Actually, that name still shows up regardless of my location. I've been in several areas miles away from that area and the name is always present in the suggestions no matter how many other people I interact with in the meantime. Weird...

The suggested contacts are more than just "recent contacts". The contacts that appear are based on not only who you've contacted recently but also on your location and the time of day. For example if you always text your boss during week days when you're at work, your boss will show there on Tuesday if you're at work even if you haven't texted them recently. If you had a day off and were at the beach, even though you'd contacted your boss the day before, their contact wouldn't necessarily show.
Right now, only one of the four contacts in Siri suggestions is someone I've texted or called in the last 72 hours. However, they are all people I usually contact around this time of day (if I do) and from this location.

Yes! Come to think of it, I am in the vicinity of where that person's address is in my phone (albeit they don't live there anymore, but the address is still in my contacts). Thanks! You saved me a headache and a possible heart attack! 😝

Yup, that would do it. Glad you didn't have a heart attack! 😉
