We agree that the silence is the language of God. It is only in the depth of silence God reveals Himself in our hearts. It is invaluable that is why in moments of stupendous joy and sorrow we fall into depths of silence. We should speak less, speak sweet and speak only to clear a misunderstanding. The more we are required to speak the more misunderstanding it creates. Speak the truth and speak it sweetly, don’t tell the bitter truth don’t speak untruth sweetly. Silence is golden unless it leads to misunderstanding and injustice.
I used to think silence is like thread and mental activity is like a tapestry. Silence is golden, but it’s my job to tweak it into interesting shapes. The sages all say there is something deeper to realize. I wasn’t ready to hear that. I protested that the tapestry isn’t separate from the thread. In time, I realized mental activity is more like spray-painting the Taj Mahal. Standing in the moonlight with our can of paint, we think we can add to the majesty. But silence is almighty. It’s infinitely greater than anything we could add.
Maintaining inner silence is perfect surrender and perfect understanding. You don’t have to be perfectly good at it. But there’s nothing else that needs to be done. Keep your mouth silent, When people you know or loved ones, scold you in anger even you are the victim.(Even your ex or enemy is scolding you, just keep silent.) Keep your words limited, When you are frustrated or in anger or while crying. (Words once spoken cannot be taken back.)Keep your mind and it’s thoughts in silence, When you are worried or hurt. (The negative thoughts might create more impact than positive hope.)

Walk away silently, When people tease about your-looks or education or skills or unemployed or job or salary or being unmarried or failure or marriage life.(I mean people will tease you on every aspects of your life, just ignore and walkaway.) Stand silently, When you achieve beyond hurdles before the people who did lame talks about you earlier.(Stand with pride smile in eyes.) Smile silently, When people thank you for being reason for their smile. When you deeply hurt and unable to speak but you know that your smile will make others to smile.(Just smile.)
Of course, silence is much needed when you are anger, hurt, broken, frustrated, depressed because people can handle happiness but not the sadness or insults. Speak with your action silently:) If I said to you "you should make your well-being a priority" you'd consider this an obvious statement. But, what does it mean? If you set the alarm to get up and go for a run but you haven't been sleeping well, what is the right thing to do for your well being? Go back to sleep or get out of bed and go for a run?
However, if you are struggling with anxiety, do you work through your feelings or look for a distraction? What is best for your well being, time alone, or time with others? If someone in your life holds a position of great importance but your relationship with them is toxic, do you cut them out of your life? What is best for your well being? Your history with them, or distance from them? Doing what's best for your well being is really difficult. Sometimes, it's impossible to tell. This is why we need silence. To hear ourselves sort out what it is that would truly be best for us. Cheers!
