You don’t need to be a frequent flyer to earn points, which you can then use to pay for flights, hotels and rental cars. With a SAS EuroBonus credit card, every purchase goes towards a new travel experience. You can use points for flights, hotels and upgrades on your next trip.
As a EuroBonus member, you can choose between five different credit cards, each one tailored to your needs. If you’re not a big spender but still don’t want to miss out on points, we recommend SAS American Express Classic or SAS EuroBonus Mastercard World. If you want to earn a few more points there’s SAS American Express Premium, and if you want to maximize your points and achieve higher EuroBonus levels, we recommend SAS American Express Elite or SAS EuroBonus Mastercard Premium.
Which credit card is best for you?
SAS American Express Classic
The card for you if you don’t buy much by credit card and prefer not to pay an annual fee, but don’t want to miss out on some great benefits. With an American Express Classic you earn 10 Extra points for every SEK 100 spent on the card, and you can get one coupon for a 2-for-1 flight every year. The 2-for-1 coupon is an offer that gives you half the points price for a flight for up to two people, and with the American Express Classic the offer is valid Europe-wide with SAS.

SAS American Express Premium
If you want to earn points a little faster. This credit card gives you 15 Extra points for every SEK 100 spent on the card, and a 2-for-1 coupon once you’ve spent SEK 150,000. The coupon is valid for up to two people, and it means you can fly for half the points price worldwide with SAS and Star Alliance. Comprehensive travel insurance for the whole family is included when you pay for at least 75% of the journey (transport and accommodation) with this card. Give an additional card to a friend completely free of charge and collect points together.
Fee: SEK/NOK 1,200/year (not available in Denmark)
SAS American Express Elite
If you use a credit card a lot and want to get a lot back. With this card you quickly earn points because you get 20 Extra points for every SEK/NOK 100 spent on the card. You also get two 2-for-1 coupons per calendar year once you’ve spent 2 x SEK/NOK 150,000. The offer is valid when you fly with SAS and Star Alliance.
The card also includes 20,000 EuroBonus Status points, which means you are always at least a EuroBonus Silver member. You always earn Basic points on your flights with SAS, and with Silver membership you earn even more points when you fly with SAS – as well as being entitled to extra baggage and faster check-in.
Extra comprehensive travel insurance for you, your spouse/partner and any children and grandchildren under 25 and living at home is also included. This applies as long as you pay for at least 75% of the trip (transport and accommodation) using the card.
Fee: SEK/NOK 4,800/year (not available in Denmark)
SAS EuroBonus Mastercard World
The world’s most widely accepted credit card, which gives you good travel insurance and cancellation protection. You also earn 10 to 20 Extra points per SEK/NOK/DKK 100 you spend on the card.
Fee: SEK 43 /DKK 35 / NOK 39 per month
SAS EuroBonus Mastercard Premium
The credit card for you if convenient travel is a priority. The card enables you to advance your EuroBonus status, and buy bonus trips in SAS Plus and Business but pay bonus points for SAS Go. With the Mastercard Premium, you can pay with the world’s most widely accepted card, while earning 15 to 25 Extra points for every SEK/NOK/DKK 100 you spend on the card.
SAS EuroBonus Mastercard Premium enables you to advance your EuroBonus status more easily. The more you use the card, the more Status points you earn – and the closer to Silver, Gold and Diamond status you get. You get Status points equivalent to 25% of your earned Extra points.
