How do I reset my RSA security questions? ›

To request to have your security questions reset, contact RSA Customer Support and they will be able to clear your existing answers. Once this has been performed, return to the RSA Self-Service Console and after logging in you will be prompted to set up new questions.

RSA Authentication Manager is the authentication, administration, and database management component of RSA SecurID, which provides strong authentication of users accessing valuable network resources.

If you forgot both your security question answers, there are two things you can do. If you have a computer that you have chosen to “Remember computer” on, you can log in on that computer and reset your security questions.

At the end of the “User Information” section, choose Manage SecurID. Select Reset PIN. Choose the token that you want to reset the RSA SecurID PIN for and select Apply. Once you're ready, select Save Changes.

To reset your PIN, click the 'troubleshoot' link next to the appropriate token. You will be taken to the Troubleshoot Your Token page. Select the 'I forgot my PIN' option and click OK. Then create a new PIN for the token.

Click the token that you want to resynchronize. Click Resynchronize Token. Enter the tokencode that is displayed on the user's token. Wait for the tokencode to change, and then enter the new tokencode.

Before Quick Setup is complete, the SUSE Linux operating system has an initial login of rsaadmin for the user ID and a default password of rsaadmin.

Using the RSA SecurID

The passcode is a combination of their PIN the OTP currently displayed on the token. The user ID and passcode are transmitted to the RSA Authentication Manager Agent and verified by the RSA Authentication Manager software, the system's authentication engine.

This must be the same email address as the username with which you are attempting access the console. For example, if you have forgotten the password for username [email protected], then you must enter [email protected] in the Forgot Password window.

You can change your security questions at any time. In Windows 10, open Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and click the Update your security questions link. Enter the password for your local account, choose your security questions, type the answers, and click Finish.

To reset your PIN, click the 'troubleshoot' link next to the appropriate token. You will be taken to the Troubleshoot Your Token page. Select the 'I forgot my PIN' option and click OK. Then create a new PIN for the token.
