Riverbank is a small town but is very divided. One side of it is poorer, run-down houses while the other is rich, suburb-like communities, and there is no in-between. There is also a surplus of dangerous people digging through trash or camping at bus stops.

Is a great town resident for over 40 years. Unfortunately this city expansion and development is ruining our small town. Please don’t move here

Riverbank is a small, quiet town that I enjoy raising my daughter in. It is currently going through a lot of growth commercially and residentially which is both exciting and discouraging. I hope that it continues to have that small town feel even after the growth.

Great town to live it. It is currently expanding. The schools are small creating a tightnit community.

I like that it is a small town with a decent amount of shopping/entertainment options. I wish there was more of a community sense among its residents.

I really like the city of Riverbank. I have lived here my entire life and wouldn't want it any other way. Little to no traffic, many stores, tons of food, and multiple parks. Its got everything you need, yet it's a pretty small city when compared to the cities around it. Overall a very good suburban city.

It is a small, friendly town with everything you need within a few miles. There is entertainment and plenty of shopping options. It has plenty of parks and is located near a river where people love to float on during the summer.

It's an amazing town with a lot of cool people and I frankly believe that more people should move here if they want a calm life because we don't have a high crime rate and we have many stores to go to if bored or hungry.

Riverbank has grown a lot over the past 10-15 years. It is fairly easy to stay in town to get your shopping and groceries done, and we have a lot more restaurants to eat at. I work in town and it is easy to commute as it’s less than a 5 minute drive from my home. Living outside of the main development can feel less safe as there is a clear difference between the older and newer developments. Neighbors are friendly and our community is always willing to help one another. We are still close to Modesto so it is not a far drive to our closest city. I would like to see crossroads grow and see more parks for families.

Overall Riverbank is a great city. I wish there were more family oriented places for entertainment. I love the schools and the community is always very kind and helpful. The crime rates are low and the schools are good. The restaurants are really good but we need more variety. We need a community garden and more technology in our schools.
Housing is good, there are some areas that need improvements but overall the neighborhood are really nice. There are big stores like Target, save marts, kohls, etc but I feel like we don't need more retail stores. We need to expand the agriculture and farming. A lot of fields were destroyed to build houses and stores but we need to stop that. We should have more farms.

Great family friendly city with good academics nearby and a lot of family owned business to try out! Also located in good area where it's close to the beaches and snow, great for trips and day trips. Downside is not a lot of attractions here or nearby so may have to travel a bit to get to more popular and touristic areas.

My experience in Riverbank has been great, it is a growing city with more stores and houses being built. We have lots of parks and good schools. Our local Riverbank High School had the National Silver Ranking of best schools. There are lots of friendly people and schools that support the community.

Riverbank is a fairly calm suburb town. It is little known among larger cities in California but it is respectable. The businesses within it are doing fine and the flow of society is healthy. However, there are problems like homelessness and substance abuse that lie beneath what is visible to the public.

I enjoy the atmosphere of the city of Riverbank. The best part about the town is the family-friendly environment. The town is stabilized with growing families.

I really like how nice everyone is and helpful to one another neighbors. Everybody gets along and does their daily work and errands with little faults with the police or government. The school system helps the low income students and families, as well as the disabled community to it's greater extend. The community gives back in many ways with the donation booths, parades, and funded charities and sports. In all it's calm and a clean place to live and strive in.

I like how there is a lot of diversity in Riverbank. Since it is a small town, all people usually know each other and see each other frequently. There are a lot of unique places to visit as well. I would change the amount of job opportunities there is because it is quite difficult to look for a job.

I love how there are tons of healthy options, savemart and o Brian’s, even cvs has a healthy food section. There are tons of park close by or walking distance. I can walk to work in 15 mins. The city saves and pretexts the ducks on the canal

This is the town in which I grew up and I have had an over all good experience. The people here are friendly and it is a very diverse, accepting community. Even though it is a small town it is very open to others and their ideas. One thing that I would like this town to have more of is community events. Although we do have some they are often very small and poorly publicized. Still this is my home town and I greatly appreciate it.

What I like about Riverbank is that it’s a calm and enjoyable place due to its close access to stores and variety of parks. The only thing I’d like to see change is that Riverbank stops building more new homes, all because of the growing population and traffic.
