What are the biggest complaints about Airbnb? ›

If you think a review violates our Reviews Policy, you can report it to us. Reviews will be removed if they violate our Reviews Policy, and both the guest and Host will be informed of this decision upon removal. You can also contact us to request a change in the gender pronoun used to describe you in a review.

Like this: 'thank you for your feedback' or 'I am always looking to improve as a host so I appreciate your honest feedback' or 'I always hope to improve my listing to make sure my guests have wonderful experiences.

For stays, if you submit your review first, you may edit it anytime within the 14-day review period, up until the other party submits their review. Once both reviews are submitted or the 14-day review period has ended—whichever comes first—both reviews are automatically published and no more changes can be made.

Your detailed ratings for past stays, as well as your overall category and averaged ratings across stays, can only be read by Hosts when you request or book a stay with them in the future. If hosts don't review a guest on Airbnb, no review will show up on the guest's profile. In this case, the host will have to wait 14 days for the guest's review of them (if the guest chooses to leave one) to appear. If hosts want to see their reviews earlier, they'll have to leave a review for the guest.
