Strategies for Fighting Revenants
The main strategy with Revenants is to remain aggressive. Although their spitter goo grenades do hit hard, they'll spend a lot of time charging up attacks while standing in one spot. It gives you ample time to really lay in some damage, so use it to your advantage. When it does spit grenades, back up and wait for them to detonate, before getting back in and landing free hits. Before long it'll jump to another side of the map, so follow it and repeat the same strategy.
While you'll mostly need to worry about their main ranged attacks, they do have a melee attack too. The revenant will lunge at you if you come to close, inflicting some damage. The attack is pretty well telegraphed though, so if you see it moving in for the kill, dodge out the way and get some free hits in.
It's also worth noting that the revenant is able to summon back-up, although you can mostly ignore the biters and virals it summons due to the fight moving around the arena so frequently. There are opportunity weapons sprinkled around these arenas too, so make sure you're using them to whittle down the revenant's health bar. Before long, it'll go down, allowing you to reap the spoils.
Revenant Loot
Aside from the inhibitors you find in the nearby GRE trailers, revenant loot mostly consists of Unique Infected Trophies and rare valuables, which are both well worth the challenge of taking one of these grotesque monsters down.
GRE Anamoly Sites are scattered all throughout Villedor, so make sure you're looking for the skull icon on the map to track down revenants and secure the loot they're carrying.
