Travelers arriving in Korea are unable to carry animal products (such as meats, dairy, eggs, etc.) or plant products (such as fresh fruits, seeds, etc.) into the country. In-flight meals which include the aforementioned items, cannot be taken off the aircraft upon arrival. These items should also not be sent to Korea via the postal service.
When mistakenly carried into Korea, the items should be declared at the quarantine office. Please note that if you do not declare these items, you could be fined up to 10 million won.
The Korean government also recommends avoiding visits to livestock-related areas like farms and animal markets.
