Pages for iCloud periodically saves versions of your document. If you want to return to a previous version (for example, because you deleted content you decide you still need), you can restore an earlier version.
Note: If you or someone you’re sharing a document with reverts to an earlier version of the document, everyone sharing the document sees the earlier version. For more information about shared documents, see the Intro to collaboration in Pages for iCloud.
Open the document, click the More button in the toolbar, then choose Browse All Versions.
In the Version History list, select the document you want to restore.
If you’re not sure which version you want to restore, select a document, then click Preview. To compare it with another version, select another version, then click Preview again.
The preview is view only (you can’t make any changes to it). To download or print a copy, click the More button at the top of the preview window, then choose an option.
Click Restore at the bottom of the Version History list.
Tip: You can also click Restore in the top-right corner of a document you’re previewing.
The current version is replaced with the selected version.
If you accidentally delete a document (or folder) entirely, you may be able to get it back by recovering it.
