PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Reiki is a technique for deep relaxation and releasing tension. During a Reiki session, the universal life force energy (also known as Chi or Prana) is guided to the receiver through a series of hand positions. The deep relaxation that happens in a session allows for the activation of the body’s natural healing abilities. Reiki helps nourish our body and energy system. It promotes healing on all levels: physical, mental, emotional spiritual. The benefits of Reiki include: relieved pain or discomfort, speeding up recovery from an injury or illness, emotional balance, inner peace, spiritual growth, concentration and sharper intuition. Reiki is currently practiced all over the world in hospitals, wellness centers, spas, resorts, homes and corporate offices. As a practitioner, you can perform Reiki on yourself, other people, animals and plants.
We offer all 4 levels of Reiki certification:
- Reiki Training 1 – Practitioner Level 1
- Reiki Training 2 – Practitioner Level 2
- Reiki Training 3 – Practitioner Level 3 (Master)
- Reiki Training 4 – Master Teacher
Course fees include a manual and a certificate that is approved by the Canadian Reiki Association (www.reiki.ca).
Please wear comfortable clothing. Bring your lunch and a water bottle; tea and healthy snacks will be served during the day. Please notify us in advance if you have any food allergies.
COURSE OUTLINES
REIKI TRAINING 1 – PRACTITIONER LEVEL 1
Level 1 of Reiki certification introduces the basic concepts and methods of this healing technique, complemented by practice sessions for hands-on experience. Topics covered include: Reiki level 1 empowerment or attunement, Reiki history, Reiki principles, Reiki power symbol properties and applications, Protection and grounding techniques, cleansing techniques, chakras, hand positions for various sessions, and Reiki Session guidelines. Upon successful completion of this course, a certificate for Reiki First Degree Practitioner is issued; certification is approved by the Canadian Reiki Association (www.reiki.ca).
REIKI TRAINING 2 – PRACTITIONER LEVEL 2
Level 2 of Reiki certification focuses on long-distance healing and mental/emotional healing. Additional power symbols increase your ability to channel Reiki energies for various healing purposes. Topics covered include: Reiki level 2 empowerment or attunement, distance symbol properties and applications, long-distance healing techniques, mental/emotional healing techniques, healing unwanted habits and patterns, and scanning and beaming. Upon successful completion of this course, a certificate for Reiki Second Degree Practitioner is issued; certification is approved by the Canadian Reiki Association (www.reiki.ca).
REIKI TRAINING 3 – PRACTITIONER LEVEL 3 (MASTER)
Level 3 (Master Practitioner) of Reiki certification focuses on techniques required for more challenging cases. In addition, you become familiar with various aspects of acquiring and utilizing crystals and gemstones for enhanced healing and manifestation. Topics covered include: Reiki level 3 empowerment or attunement, additional power symbol properties and applications, healing meditation using power symbols, crystals for Reiki treatments, Reiki crystal grid for healing / energizing / cleansing / manifestation, creating and using affirmations, and aura surgery techniques. Upon successful completion of this course, a certificate for Reiki Third Degree Practitioner is issued; certification is approved by the Canadian Reiki Association (www.reiki.ca).
REIKI TRAINING 4 – MASTER TEACHER
Level 4 (Master Teacher) of Reiki certification is for practitioners who want to upgrade their knowledge and skills to the highest certificable level, and qualifies them to teach Reiki workshops and certify Reiki practitioners at various levels. To register for this course, students must have already passed certifications for levels 1-3 with at least 5 practice sessions for each level. Topics covered include: Reiki level 4 (master) empowerment or attunement, review of levels 1-3, practicing additional symbols, learning and performing Reiki attunements for various levels, sending distant attunements, practicing self-attunement to promote healing and clarity, Reiki healing attunement, Reiki master meditation activating the microcosmic orbit, performing Reiki breath, and tips on teaching Reiki training workshops. Upon successful completion of this course, a certificate for Reiki Master Teacher is issued; certification is approved by the Canadian Reiki Association (www.reiki.ca). Graduates will be eligible to join the Canadian Reiki Association as a Reiki Master/Teacher and promote their own Reiki sessions and workshops.

Refund policy
Fee payments originally made by credit card are credited back to the same card; for expired or invalid credit cards, refunds are made by cheque. Fee payments originally made by cash or cheque are made by cheque. Please allow 3 weeks for processing.
Cancelled courses
When a course is cancelled by Burnaby CCE, a full refund will be issued.
Full time certificate / diploma programs
Requests for refunds received in writing (email) at least 1 week prior to classes starting will have $100 deducted from the course fee. Requests received less than a week prior to classes starting will have $200 deducted from the course fee. There will be no refunds once classes begin.
Part time certificate / diploma programs
Requests for refunds received in writing (email) at least 1 week prior to classes starting will have $25 deducted from the course fee. Refunds received less than a week prior to classes starring will have $50 deducted from the course fee. There will be no refunds once classes begin.
Career & Business Training/General Interest Courses
Requests for refunds received in writing (email) at least 2 days prior to the course starting will be refunded the course fee minus $20. Requests for refunds received less than 2 days prior to the course starting will be refunded the course fee minus $30. There will be no refunds once a course starts.
