Regenerate aCertificate
The regenerate option allows you to create a new certificate with similar parameters of an existing certificate, that you can host it on a different type of web or applications.
To regenerate a server certificate:
- Click the (Menu) button.
- Navigate to Inventory >Certificate.
- The Certificate screen opens.
- Click the Server or Client or Device tab, depending on the type of certificate you want to regenerate.
- On the list that appears on the screen, click Common name of the certificate you want to regenerate.
- The certificate topology appears on the screen.
- Hover over icon in the server certificate on the topology and click Regenerate option.
- Depending on the type of certificate you are regenerating, Regenerate screen might appear.
- Make changes if required and click Regenerate button.
- The certificate is regenerated and the topology screen opens.
- Click the Approvebutton that appears.
- On the Approve screen that pops up:
- Click On or Off button in the Manual Implementation field to choose the mode of implementation.
- If you select Off, set the date and time that you want the cert regeneration approval to occur.
- Enter comments to approve the regeneration, then click Yes.
- Click the Implement button that appears.
- On the Implementation screen that pops up:
- Click On or Off button in the Manual Implementation field to choose the mode of implementation.
- If you select Off, set the date and time that you want the cert regeneration implementation to occur.
- Enter comments to implement the regeneration and click Yes.
- After the Regenerate button is clicked, a request IDandwork order ID are generated automatically and the work order status is displayed beside the certificateon the topological view.
- Click (Refresh) icon on the holistic view to refresh the screen.
- The work order status is displayed beside the certificate.
- Click (Refresh) icon on the Command baruntil the topology updates.
- After the regenerate action is completed, the status updatesto Completed.
