Hi @NoraSims04,
Please, try the game without your mods/custom content. To do so, go to Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 and move the "Mods" folder to your desktop.
Then open the game again and check if it works. If it does, it means at least one of your mods isn't compatible with the updatedgame and needs to be updated/removed. You will need to try until you find the faulty mod.
