@BIG_SMOWKE You have to have them unlocked or buy them with Apex coins to be able to get the recolours with legend tokens. It'll show as locked on your screen if you haven't got it (there will be a padlock sign with the required skin next to it I.e Tidal wave etc).

Legend Tokens are earned by increasing your Player Level. Legend Tokens can be earned even after reaching max Player Level by gathering enough match XP. They can be used in the Rotating Shop to unlock exclusive recolors of Legendary weapon and Legend skins, or to unlock new Legends.

If you want to buy the recolor with Legend Tokens, you'll have to own the original skin, which is in this case the "Sixth Sense" skin for Caustic. Though, if you don't own this skin, you won't be able to purchase it with Legend Tokens.

In order to use Legend Tokens to purchase a weapon skin, you have to use Apex Coins to purchase the original skin : r/apexlegends.

When Does the Store Reset? The Store resets every Tuesday at 12:00 PM Pacific Time. For the Monthly and Daily rotations, these will happen at 12:00 PM Pacific Time, as well.

They divide the 12,000 tokens by 600 per level, meaning: 12,000 / 600 = 20, so you don't get your first 12,000 tokens until level 23, and then every 20 levels after that (so, 43, 63, 83, etc).

Legend Tokens are used to unlock new Legends, recolor Legendary skins, and reroll daily challenges. We'd recommend saving your money to purchase Legends or recolor Legendary skins, as rerolling daily challenges can quickly add up — and it's not often the best use of your hard-earned Legend Tokens.

How many apex packs would it take to unlock everything? ›

TLDR:- 1919 items to unlock total, which equates to roughly 640 Apex packs, ONLY if you don't get any crafting materials; the crafting materials kinda make it impossible as far as i can tell to give a set number of packs to open. I reached my total working on the false assumption you always got three items.
